Description

コネクタ
 本開示は、コネクタに関する。
 従来のコネクタとして例えば、特開平10-261471号公報に記載のジョイントコネクタが知られている。このジョイントコネクタは、ハウジングの各端子収容室の端子挿入口にブスバー付きリテーナのリテーナ本体を嵌合自在に設け、このリテーナ本体に各端子収容室の端子挿入口に設けられた係合部に係止される係止部を設けると共に、ブスバー付きリテーナのブスバーの端子をジョイント端子の係止部に係止自在にしてある。また、ブスバー付きリテーナと同形のリテーナのリテーナ本体を各ハウジングの各端子収容室の端子挿入口に嵌合自在に設けてある。
特開平10-261471公報
 近時、車両に搭載されるコネクタについては小型化が求められている。コネクタのハウジングを小型化することに伴い、端子を係止する部品(例えばリテーナ)も小型化することが考えられる。すると、端子を係止する部品の強度が低下する場合が想定される。これにより端子がハウジングに強固に係止されなくなる結果、電線を介して端子に伝達された外力によって端子とハウジングが、がたつくことが懸念される。また、端子を小型化すると端子自体の強度も低下するので、電線を介して加えられる外力によって端子自体が不具合を生じるおそれもある。
 本開示は上記のような事情に基づいて完成されたものであって、電線からの外力が端子に伝達されることを抑制できるコネクタを提供することを目的とする。
 本開示は、電線に接続されるコネクタであって、ロアハウジングと、アッパーカバーとを備え、前記ロアハウジングは前記電線の延び方向の前方端部にそれぞれ接続される端子を収容し、前記アッパーカバーは前記ロアハウジングの上面を塞ぐように組み付けられるものであり、前記ロアハウジングまたは前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングと前記アッパーカバーとが組み付けられた状態で、前記電線と接触して屈曲させるガイド部を備える。
 本開示によれば、コネクタにおいて、電線からの外力が端子に伝達されることを抑制できる。

[本開示の実施形態の説明]
 最初に本開示の実施態様が列挙されて説明される。
(1)本開示は、電線に接続されるコネクタであって、ロアハウジングと、アッパーカバーとを備え、前記ロアハウジングは前記電線の延び方向の前方端部にそれぞれ接続される端子を収容し、前記アッパーカバーは前記ロアハウジングの上面を塞ぐように組み付けられるものであり、前記ロアハウジングまたは前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングと前記アッパーカバーとが組み付けられた状態で、前記電線と接触して屈曲させるガイド部を備える。
 電線に外力が加えられると、この外力は電線を伝って、コネクタへと伝達される。電線に伝達された力は、電線が屈曲した部分において吸収されるので、電線に加えられた力がコネクタの内部にまで伝えられることが抑制される。
(2)前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに対して、前記ロアハウジングの上面を開放する開放位置と、前記ロアハウジングの上面を塞ぐ閉鎖位置との間で回転可能に組み付けられており、前記ガイド部は前記閉鎖位置において、前記複数の電線と接触して屈曲させる。
 アッパーカバーを開放位置から閉鎖位置に回転させる工程と、電線を屈曲させる工程を兼ねることができるので、ジョイントコネクタの製造工程を効率化できる。
(3)前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに対して、前記ロアハウジングの上面の一部を塞ぐ仮閉鎖位置から前記閉鎖位置との間で、前記延び方向に沿って移動可能に組み付けられていることが好ましい。
 仮閉鎖位置から閉鎖位置へとアッパーカバーを移動させることにより、電線を、屈曲した状態で保持することができる。これにより、電線に加えられた外力がジョイントコネクタの内部にまで伝達されることをより抑制することができる。
(4)前記アッパーカバーおよび前記ロアハウジングの一方は他方に向かって突出する軸部を有し、他方は前記軸部が係合する軸孔を有し、前記軸孔は、前記軸部と相対的に回転可能に係合する回転部と、前記回転部から延びる延長部と、を有し、前記延長部は、前記アッパーカバーが前記ロアハウジングに対して仮閉鎖位置に配された状態で前記延び方向に沿って延びていることが好ましい。
 軸孔の回転部に軸部が係合した状態でアッパーカバーを開放位置から仮閉鎖位置まで回転させた後、軸部を延び方向に沿って延長部内を移動させることにより、アッパーカバーを仮閉鎖位置から閉鎖位置へと容易に移動させることができる。
(5)前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングの一方に設けられたロック部が、前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングの他方に係止することにより、前記アッパーカバーは前記閉鎖位置で前記ロアハウジングに組み付けられるようになっており、前記ガイド部は前記アッパーカバーが前記ロアハウジングに対して回転する回転軸に近接して設けられており、前記ロック部は、前記回転軸から離れた位置に設けられていることが好ましい。
 電線を屈曲させるガイド部が回転軸に近接して設けられているのに対して、アッパーカバーとロアハウジングとを係止する構成が回転軸から離れているので、アッパーカバーとロアハウジングとを係止させる際の荷重を、てこの原理により、電線を屈曲させるための力として効率的に利用することができる。これにより、電線を屈曲させることができる。
(6)前記ガイド部は、前記ロアハウジングに設けられたロアガイド部と、前記アッパーカバーに設けられたアッパーガイド部と、を備え、前記ロアガイド部の上面は、前記アッパーカバーが前記開放位置と前記閉鎖位置との間を移動する軌道に沿った形状をなしていることが好ましい。
 これにより、アッパーカバーがロアハウジングに対して回転した場合に、アッパーカバーとロアガイド部の上部とが接触することを抑制できる。
(7)前記ガイド部は、前記ロアハウジングに設けられたロアガイド部と、前記アッパーカバーに設けられたアッパーガイド部と、を備え、前記ロアガイド部は、前記電線と接触して前記電線を屈曲させるロア接触部を有し、前記アッパーガイド部は、前記電線と接触して前記電線を屈曲させるアッパー接触部を有することが好ましい。
 電線が、アッパーカバーのアッパー接触部と、ロアハウジングのロア接触部の双方と接触するので、電線に加えられた力を、アッパーカバーとロアハウジングの双方で受けることができる。これにより、電線に加えられた力が端子にまで伝達されることをより抑制できる。
(8)前記ロアハウジングには前記電線に接触することで前記電線を位置決めする位置決め部を備えることが好ましい。
 ロアハウジングに設けられた位置決め部によって、電線が、ロアハウジング内で位置決めされる。これにより、電線が屈曲される部位を、正確に位置決めすることができる。
(9)前記複数の前記端子に接続されるバスバーを備え、前記バスバーは、複数のタブと、前記複数のタブを連結する連結部と、を有し、前記複数の端子のそれぞれは、前記複数のタブと接続するバスバー接続部と、前記延び方向に沿って延びるとともに前記電線を挟持する挟持部と、前記挟持部の外側に配されるとともに前記延び方向に沿って移動可能なスライド部と、を有し、前記スライド部は、前記挟持部に前記電線が挟まれた状態で、前記挟持部を前記電線に向けて加圧する加圧部を有することが好ましい。
 上記の構成によれば、本開示にかかるコネクタを、複数の電線を接続するジョイントコネクタに適用できる。
 また、挟持部が加圧部に押圧されることによって電線と端子とが接続されているので、電線の外周にバレルを圧着する際に必要とされる金型が不要となり、ジョイントコネクタの製造コストを低減できる。
(10)前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングは、前記端子が配される部分に、相手方端子が挿入される挿入孔を有することが好ましい。
 上記の構成によれば、本開示を雌コネクタに適用できる。
(11)前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに組み付けられた状態で、前記端子と係合する端子係合部を有することが好ましい。
 端子係合部が端子と係合することにより、端子が移動することを端子係合部で抑制できるので、端子をロアハウジング内に保持することができる。
(12)前記端子は、前記電線が接続される電線接続部と、スライド部と、を有し、前記電線接続部は、それぞれ、前記延び方向に沿って延びるとともに前記電線を挟持する挟持部を有し、前記スライド部は、前記挟持部の外側に配されるとともに前記延び方向に沿って、本係止位置と、前記本係止位置とは異なる仮係止位置と、の間を移動可能となっており、前記スライド部は、前記本係止位置に移動したときに、前記挟持部に前記電線が挟まれた状態で前記挟持部を前記電線に向けて加圧する加圧部を有し、前記アッパーカバーは、前記スライド部が前記本係止位置に配された状態の前記端子に係合する端子係合部を有することが好ましい。
 ロアハウジングにアッパーカバーを組み付けることにより、アッパーカバーの端子係合部は、スライド部が本係止位置に移動した状態の端子と係合する。これにより、スライド部が端子に対して本係止位置に移動したか否かを検知することができる。
[本開示の実施形態の詳細]
 以下に、本開示の実施形態が説明される。本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内での全ての変更が含まれることが意図される。
<実施形態1>
 本開示の実施形態1が図1から図15を参照しつつ説明される。本実施形態にかかるジョイントコネクタ10(コネクタの一例)は、複数の電線11を電気的に接続する。以下の説明では、矢線Zの示す向きを上とし、矢線Yの示す向きを前とし、矢線Xの示す向きを左として説明する。なお、複数の同一部材については、一部の部材にのみ符号を付し、他の部材の符号を省略する場合がある。
[ジョイントコネクタ10]
 図1に示されるように、本実施形態にかかるジョイントコネクタ10は、前後方向(延び方向の一例)について複数の電線11の前方端部にそれぞれ接続される複数の端子12と、複数の端子12に接続されるバスバー50と、複数の端子12およびバスバー50が内部に収容されるロアハウジング30と、ロアハウジング30の上部に後部に取り付けられるアッパーカバー60と、を備える。電線11は概ね前後方向に延びて配索されており、前後方向が電線11の延び方向と定義される。図2および図3に示されるように、ジョイントコネクタ10は前後方向に延びる直方体形状をなしている。
[電線11]
 図1に示されるように、複数の電線11は、前後方向(延び方向の一例)に延びて配されている。電線11は、芯線13の外周を絶縁性の合成樹脂からなる絶縁被覆14で包囲されている。本実施形態にかかる芯線13は、1本の金属線からなる。なお、芯線13は複数の金属細線が撚り合わされてなる撚線であってもよい。芯線13を構成する金属は、銅、銅合金、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金等、必要に応じて任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。本実施形態にかかる芯線13は銅、または銅合金からなる。
[ロアハウジング30]
 図4に示すように、ロアハウジング30は、前後方向に延びるとともに上下に扁平な形状をなしている。ロアハウジング30は、絶縁性の合成樹脂を含む材料が射出成型されて形成される。ロアハウジング30には、前後に延びる複数(本実施形態では4つ)のキャビティ29が、左右方向に並んで形成されている。キャビティ29は上方に開口されており、端子12がキャビティ29内に上方から配置されるようになっている。左右方向に隣り合うキャビティ29は前後方向に延びる隔壁31によって隔てられている。この隔壁31により、各キャビティ29内に配置された端子12が電気的に絶縁されている。
 図4に示されるように、キャビティ29はロアハウジング30の前端部分において前方に開口している。ロアハウジング30の前端部には、キャビティ29の底壁と面一であると共に左右方向に延びて形成されたバスバー載置部32が形成されている。バスバー載置部32に、上方からバスバー50が載置されるようになっている。
 図5に示されるように、隔壁31の前端部にはバスバー50に上方から接触することにより、バスバー50が上方に移動することを抑制する係止爪34が形成されている。係止爪34の下端部は、バスバー50が上方に移動しようとしたときに接触すればよく、通常時においては、バスバー50と離れていていてもよい。
 図4に示されるように、ロアハウジング30の各側壁には、後端部寄りの位置に外方に突出する軸部35が形成されている。軸部35は円柱形状をなしている。
 図4に示されるように、ロアハウジング30の後端部にはロアガイド部36(ガイド部の一例9が形成されている。ロアガイド部36は、軸部35の上方位置に軸部35に近接して設けられている。図1に示されるように、ロアガイド部36には、前後方向に貫通するとともに、左右方向に並ぶ複数(本実施形態では4つ)の電線挿通孔37(電線位置決め部の一例)が形成されている。電線挿通孔37の内径は、電線11の外形と同じか、または大きく形成されている。各電線挿通孔37の前方に各キャビティ29が位置するようになっている。各電線挿通孔37に電線11がそれぞれ挿通することにより、電線11がロアハウジング30に対して位置決めされるようになっている。
 図1に示されるように、ロアガイド部36の前半部分は、ロアガイド部36の前部から上部にかけて曲面形状に形成されている。ロアガイド部36の後半部分は、ロアハウジング30の後端から後方に突出した形状に形成されている。ロアガイド部36の後半部分の上面は前後方向に延びる平面となっている。ロアガイド部36の後端部においては、ロアガイド部36の上面は下降傾斜されている。
 図1に示されるように、ロアガイド部36のうち、電線挿通孔37が形成された部分よりも後方の領域は、上方に凹んだ曲面形状をなしたロア接触部38とされる。ロア接触部38は、電線11の上部と接触して、電線11をロア接触部38に沿った形状に配置させる。ロア接触部38の形状は、電線挿通孔37の後側の開口においては、上方に立ち上がるように凹み、その後、緩やかな曲線を描いて後方へと延びている。
[アッパーカバー60]
 図1に示されるように、ロアハウジング30は、上方から組み付けられたアッパーカバー60によって、上部が覆われるようになっている。アッパーカバー60は絶縁性の合成樹脂を射出成型することによって形成される。図6に示されるように、アッパーカバー60の側壁の前端部にはロック爪66(ロック部の一例)が形成されている。このロック爪66が、ロアハウジング30の側壁に設けられたロック受け部33と弾性的に係わり合うことにより、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とが一体に組み付けられるようになっている。
 図6に示されるように、アッパーカバー60の後端部には、ロアハウジング30の軸部35に嵌る軸孔67が形成されている。軸部35に軸孔67が嵌ることにより、アッパーカバー60は、ロアハウジング30に対して軸部35を回転軸として回転可能に組み付けられるようになっている。
 アッパーカバー60は、ロアハウジング30に対して、図14に示されるようにロアハウジング30の上面が開放された状態で組み付けられる開放位置と、図1に示されるように、ロアハウジング30の上面が塞がれた閉鎖位置との間で回転可能になっている。
 図1に示されるように、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とが組み付けられた状態で、アッパーカバー60の上壁61の前端部には、ロアハウジング30のバスバー載置部32に対応する位置に、下方に突出するバスバー保持部64が形成されている。バスバー保持部64は、ロアハウジング30のバスバー載置部32との間でバスバー50を挟むようになっている。これにより、バスバー50が、ロアハウジング30およびアッパーカバー60に保持されるようになっている。
 図7に示されるように、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とが組み付けられた状態で、上壁61には、バスバー保持部64の後方の位置に、下方に突出する複数(本実施形態では4つ)の端子係合部63が前後方向に延びている。端子係合部63は、前側に位置する前端子係合部63Fと、前端子係合部63Fの後部に位置する後端子係合部63Rとを備える。後端子係合部63Rは前端子係合部63Fよりも下方に突出している。後端子係合部63Rの下面は上方に凹んだ溝状に形成されており、各電線11が嵌るようになっている。
 図6に示されるように、アッパーカバー60の上壁61の後端部は、電線が導出されるための開口部68が上方に開口されている。アッパーカバー60の後端部には、開口部68内において左右方向に架け渡されたアッパーガイド部69(ガイド部の一例)が形成されている。アッパーガイド部69は、軸孔67の上方位置に軸孔67に近接して設けられている。アッパーガイド部69の前面および上面にはアッパー接触部70が形成されている。アッパー接触部70は、電線11の下面が接触することにより、電線11をアッパー接触部70に沿った形状に配置させる。アッパー接触部70は、複数(本実施形態では4つ)のU字溝が並んだ形状をなしている。溝状をなす部分に各電線11が収容されるようになっている。
 上記したロアガイド部36の上面から前面にかけての形状は、アッパーカバー60の開口部68の前端部分が開放位置から閉鎖位置にまで移動する軌道に沿った形状となっている。これにより、アッパーカバー60が開放位置から閉鎖位置にまで移動する際に、アッパーカバー60とロアハウジング30とが干渉することを抑制できる。
[バスバー50]
 図8に示されるように、バスバー50は金属板材を所定の形状にプレス加工することにより形成される。金属板材としては、銅、銅合金等、任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。バスバー50は、後方に延びる複数(本実施形態では4個)のタブ52と、タブ52の前端部を、中継部53を介して連結部する連結部54と、を有する。タブ52は、左右方向に扁平な板状をなしている。連結部54は、上下方向に扁平な板状をなしている。中継部53は、連結部54から後方に延びて形成されている。連結部54の右側縁は下方に折れ曲がって、タブ52に連なっている。
 図11および図12に示されるように、バスバー50がバスバー載置部32に載置された状態において、連結部54の後端部と、ロアハウジング30の隔壁31の前端部との間には、クリアランス59が設けられている。このクリアランス59により、バスバー50は、後述する端子12とともに前後方向に移動可能になっている。
[端子12]
 図9に示されるように、端子12は、金属製の端子本体15と、端子本体15に対して相対的にスライド移動可能なスライド部16と、を備える。
[端子本体15]
 端子本体15はプレス加工、切削加工、鋳造等、公知の手法により所定の形状に形成される。端子本体15を構成する金属は、銅、銅合金、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、ステンレス鋼等、必要に応じて任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。本実施形態にかかる端子本体15は、銅、又は銅合金からなる。端子本体15の表面にはめっき層が形成されていてもよい。めっき層を構成する金属は、スズ、ニッケル、銀等必要に応じて任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。本実施形態にかかる端子本体15にはスズめっきが施されている。
 図10に示されるように、端子本体15は、タブ52が挿入可能な筒部17(バスバー接続部の一例)と、筒部17の後方に位置して電線11と接続される電線接続部20を有する。電線接続部20は後方に延出された上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bと、を備える。
 図10に示されるように、筒部17は前後方向に延びる角筒状をなしている。筒部17の前端はタブ52が挿入可能に開口されている。
 詳細には図示されないが、筒部17の内部には、弾性変形可能な弾性接触片が配されている。弾性接触片は、筒部17の内壁から内方に延びている。筒部17内に挿入されたタブ52は、弾性接触片を押圧して弾性変形させる。弾性変形した弾性接触片の弾発力によって、タブ52は、筒部17の内壁と弾性接触片19との間に挟まれる。これによりタブ52と端子12とが電気的に接続される。
 図10に示されるように、筒部17の後方には角筒状をなす電線接続部20が設けられている。電線接続部20の上壁の後端部には上側挟持部18A(挟持部の一例)が後方に延びて設けられており、電線接続部20の下壁の後端部には下側挟持部18B(挟持部の一例)が後方に延びて設けられている。上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bは前後に延びた細長い形状をなしている。上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bの前後方向の長さ寸法は略同じに形成されている。
 上側挟持部18Aの下面には、後端部よりも前方の位置に、下方に突出する上側保持突部23Aが設けられている。下側挟持部18Bの上面の後端部には、上方に突出する下側保持突部23Bが設けられている。下側保持突部23Bと、上側保持突部23Aとは、前後方向についてずれた位置に設けられている。
 上側挟持部18Aの下面、および下側挟持部18Bの上面が、芯線13の表面に形成された酸化被膜に食い込んで酸化被膜を剥がすことにより、芯線13の金属表面を露出させるようになっている。この金属表面と、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bとが接触することにより、芯線13と端子本体15とが電気的に接続される。
[スライド部16]
 図9に示されるように、スライド部16は、前後方向に延びる角筒状をなしている。スライド部16は、切削加工、鋳造、プレス加工等、必要に応じて公知の手法により形成される。スライド部16を構成する金属は、銅、銅合金、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、ステンレス鋼等、必要に応じて任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。本実施形態にかかるスライド部16は、ステンレス鋼からなる。スライド部16の表面にはめっき層が形成されていてもよい。めっき層を構成する金属は、スズ、ニッケル、銀等必要に応じて任意の金属を適宜に選択できる。
 図10に示されるように、スライド部16の内形状の断面は、端子本体15のうち、上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bが設けられた領域の外形状の断面と同じか、やや大きく形成されている。これにより、スライド部16は、端子本体15のうち、上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bとが設けられた領域の外方に配されるようになっている。
 図10に示されるように、スライド部16の上壁の下面には、下方に突出する上側加圧部25A(加圧部の一例)が設けられている。スライド部16の下壁の上面には、上方に突出する下側加圧部25B(加圧部の一例)が設けられている。
 図9に示されるように、スライド部16の側壁には、前後方向の前端部寄りの位置に、仮係止受け部26が開口されている。また、スライド部16の側壁には、仮係止受け部26よりも後方の位置に、本係止受け部27が開口されている。仮係止受け部26と、本係止受け部27は、端子本体15の側壁に設けられた係止突起28と弾性的に係止可能になっている。
 端子本体15の係止突起28とスライド部16の仮係止受け部26とが係止した状態は、端子本体15に対してスライド部16が仮係止位置に保持された状態となっている。この状態においては、スライド部16の上側加圧部25Aおよび下側加圧部25Bは、端子本体15の上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bの後端縁から後方に離間している。また、この状態においては、上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bとの間の間隔は、芯線13の直径よりも大きく設定されている。
 端子本体15の係止突起28とスライド部16の本係止受け部27とが係止した状態は、端子本体15に対してスライド部16が本係止位置に係止された状態となっている。図1に示されるように、この状態においては、スライド部16の上側加圧部25Aは、上側挟持部18Aの上方から上側挟持部18Aに接触している。また、スライド部16の下側加圧部25Bは、下側挟持部18Bの下方から下側挟持部18Bに接触している。
 上記のように、スライド部16は、端子本体15のうち上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bとが設けられた領域に外嵌された状態で、上記した仮係止位置と、本係止位置との間をスライド移動可能になっている。
 図13に示されるように、スライド部16が端子本体15に対して本係止位置で保持された状態では、上側加圧部25Aが上方から上側挟持部18Aを押圧することによって上側挟持部18Aが下方に変形するようになっている。また、下側加圧部25Bが下方から下側挟持部18Bを押圧することによって下側挟持部18Bが上方に変形するようになっている。これにより、上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bとの間の空間に、芯線13を前後方向(延び方向)に延びた状態で配し、且つ、スライド部16が端子本体15に対して本係止位置で保持した状態では、芯線13は、弾性変形した上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bによって上下方向から挟持されるようになっている。すなわち、上側挟持部18Aは上側加圧部25Aに下方に押圧されることにより芯線13に上方から接触し、下側挟持部18Bは下側加圧部25Bに上方に押圧されることにより芯線13に下方から接触するようになっている。
 図13に示されるように、スライド部16が端子本体15に対して本係止位置で保持された状態では、上側挟持部18Aの上側保持突部23Aが芯線13を上方から押圧し、下側挟持部18Bの下側保持突部23Bが芯線13を下方から押圧する。このように、芯線13は、上側保持突部23Aによって上方から押圧されるとともに、上側保持突部23Aと前後方向にずれた位置に配された下側保持突部23Bによって下方から押圧されることにより、上下方向(延び方向と交差する方向の一例)について屈曲した状態に保持される。また、上側保持突部23Aと、下側保持突部23Bとによっても、芯線13と端子12とが電気的に接続されるようになっている。
 図13に示すように、スライド部16の前端部には、上壁から上方に突出する治具接触部46が設けられている。治具接触部46に後方から治具45が接触して、この治具によってスライド部16が前方に押されることにより、スライド部16が前方に移動可能になっている。
 図9に示されるように、スライド部16の後端部寄りの位置には、左右両側壁に、スライド部16の内方に突出する一対の誘い込み部47が設けられている。誘い込み部47は、後方から前方に向かうに従って幅狭に形成されている。誘い込み部47の内面に芯線13が摺接することにより、芯線13はスライド部16の内部へと案内される。
 図1に示されるように、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して閉鎖位置に組み付けられた状態では、前端子係合部63Fはスライド部16の上方に位置して、スライド部16が上方に移動することを抑制している。後端子係合部63Rは電線11の上方に位置して、電線11が上方に移動することを抑制している。前端子係合部63Fの前端部は、スライド部16の治具接触部46に後方から接触することにより、スライド部16および端子本体15が後方に移動することを抑制している。後端子係合部63Rの前端部は、スライド部16の後端部に後方から接触することにより、スライド部16および端子本体15が後方に移動することを抑制している。
 また、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して閉鎖位置に組み付けられた状態で、電線11は、アッパーカバー60のアッパーガイド部69の上面と、ロアハウジング30のロアガイド部36の下面との間に挟まれることにより、側方から見てクランク状に屈曲した形状に保持されるようになっている。
[ジョイントコネクタ10の組み立て工程]
 続いて、本実施形態にかかるジョイントコネクタ10の組み立て工程の例について説明する。ジョイントコネクタ10の組み立て工程は以下の記述に限定されない。
 公知の手法により、端子本体15と、スライド部16とが形成される。端子本体15に対して、後方からスライド部16が組み付けられる。端子本体15の係止突起28に後方からスライド部16の前端縁が当接し、スライド部16の側壁が拡開変形する。更にスライド部16が前方に押し込まれると、スライド部16の側壁が復帰変形し、端子本体15の係止突起28に、スライド部16の仮係止受け部26が係止する。これにより、端子本体15に対してスライド部16が仮係止位置に保持される。これにより端子12が得られる。
 合成樹脂を射出成型することにより、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とそれぞれ形成される。
 筒部17内に前方からバスバー50のタブ52が挿入される。タブ52と、弾性片とが接触することにより、タブ52と端子12とが電気的に接続される。これにより、複数の端子12がバスバー50を介して電気的に接続される(図9参照)。
 図10および図11に示されるように、ロアハウジング30のキャビティ29内に、上方から、バスバー50と接続された状態の端子12が挿入される。
 公知の手法で絶縁被覆14が皮剥ぎ加工されることにより電線11の芯線13が露出される。図6に示されるように、芯線13を前側にして、電線11がロアハウジング30の電線挿通孔37内に後方から挿入される。各電線挿通孔37の前方に、キャビティ29が位置するようになっているので、電線挿通孔37に挿通された電線11は、各キャビティ29へと進入する。
 図10に示されるように、電線11が更に前方に押し込まれると、芯線13の前端部は、スライド部16の後端部からスライド部16の内部へと導入される。芯線13はスライド部16の誘い込み部47と当接することにより、スライド部16へと案内される。更に電線11が前方に押し込まれると、芯線13の前端部は端子本体15の内部へと進入して上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bとの間の空間内に至る。
 次に、図13に示されるように、治具45を後方から治具接触部46に当接させて、スライド部16を前方にスライド移動させる。スライド部16は端子本体15に対して相対的に前方に移動させられる。このとき、端子本体15の係止突起28と、スライド部16の仮係止受け部26との係止が外れ、スライド部16の側壁が係止突起28に乗り上げて拡開変形する。
 スライド部16が前方に移動させられると、スライド部16の側壁が復帰変形して端子本体15の係止突起28と、スライド部16の本係止受け部27とが弾性的に係止する。これによりスライド部16が端子本体15に対して本係止位置に保持される。
 スライド部16が端子本体15に対して本係止位置に保持された状態で、スライド部16の上側加圧部25Aが、端子本体15の上側挟持部18Aに上方から当接して下方へと押圧する。また、スライド部16の下側加圧部25Bが、端子本体15の下側挟持部18Bに下方から当接して上方へと押圧する。これにより、芯線13が、上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bに上下から挟持される(図13参照)。
 図13に示されるように、上側挟持部18Aの下面と、下側挟持部18Bの上面とに芯線13が挟まれることにより、芯線13の表面に形成された酸化被膜が剥がされ、芯線13を構成する金属表面が露出する。この金属表面と、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bが接触することにより、電線11と端子12とが電気的に接続される。これにより、複数の電線11が、端子12、およびバスバー50を介して電気的に接続される。
 芯線13が上側挟持部18Aと下側挟持部18Bに上下から挟持された状態においては、芯線13は、上側挟持部18Aの上側保持突部23Aと、下側挟持部18Bの下側保持突部23Bとに挟まれることにより、前後方向に延びた状態で、且つ、上下方向に屈曲した状態で保持される。これにより、芯線13を強固に保持することができるので、電線11に引っ張り力が作用した場合に、電線11と端子12との保持力を高めることができる。
 図14に示されるように、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に組み付けられる。このとき、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して交差する姿勢で、アッパーカバー60の開口部68内に電線11が挿通されるようにして、ロアハウジング30の後方からアッパーカバー60が組み付けられる。アッパーカバー60の軸孔67内にロアハウジング30の軸部35が嵌められる。これにより、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して開放位置において組み付けられる。
 図14に示されるように、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して開放位置に組み付けられた状態で、アッパーカバー60の開口部68と、ロアハウジング30の電線挿通孔37とが、真っ直ぐに連通する形態となる。これにより、電線11をスムーズにロアハウジング30内に挿入できるようになっている。
 図15に示されるように、アッパーカバー60を、軸部35を回転軸として、図15における時計回り方向(矢線Aで示される方向)に回転させる。すると、アッパーカバー60のアッパーガイド部69のアッパー接触部70と電線11とが接触することにより、電線11が屈曲する。
 アッパーカバー60が更に回転されて、図1に示されるように閉鎖位置にまで達すると、アッパーカバー60のロック爪66が、ロアハウジング30の側壁に設けられたロック受け部33と弾性的に係わり合うことにより、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とが一体に組み付けられる。
 ロアハウジング30のロアガイド部36と、アッパーカバー60のアッパーガイド部69との間に挟まれることにより、電線11が、ランク状に屈曲した形状に保持される。これによりジョイントコネクタ10が完成する。電線11がロアガイド部36とアッパーガイド部69との間に挟まれることにより電線11が前後方向に移動した場合でも、クリアランス59が設けられているので、電線11とバスバー50が、端子12とともに前後方向に移動する。これにより、バスバー50および端子12に力が加わることが抑制されるようになっている。
[本実施形態の作用効果]
 続いて、本実施形態の作用効果について説明する。本実施形態は、複数の電線11を接続するジョイントコネクタ10であって、ロアハウジング30と、アッパーカバー60とを備え、ロアハウジング30は複数の電線11の延び方向の前方端部にそれぞれ接続される複数の端子12を収容し、アッパーカバー60はロアハウジング30の上面を塞ぐように組み付けられるものであり、ロアハウジング30およびアッパーカバー60は、それぞれ、ロアハウジング30とアッパーカバー60とが組み付けられた状態で、複数の電線11と接触して屈曲させるロアガイド部36およびアッパーガイド部69を備える。
 複数の電線11に外力が加えられると、この外力は各電線11を伝って、ジョイントコネクタ10へと伝達される。各電線11に伝達された力は、電線11が屈曲した部分において吸収されるので、電線11に加えられた力が端子12にまで伝えられることが抑制される。
 また、電線11は、ロアガイド部36とアッパーガイド部69とによって挟まれているので、電線11に伝達された力は、電線11のうちロアガイド部36およびアッパーガイド部69に挟まれた部分よりも端子12側に伝達されることが抑制される。これにより、電線11に加えられた力が端子12にまで伝えられることが抑制される。
 本実施形態によれば、アッパーカバー60は、ロアハウジング30に対して、ロアハウジング30の上面を開放する開放位置と、ロアハウジング30の上面を塞ぐ閉鎖位置との間で回転可能に組み付けられており、ロアガイド部36およびアッパーガイド部69は閉鎖位置において、複数の電線11と接触して屈曲させる。
 アッパーカバー60を開放位置から閉鎖位置に回転させる工程と、電線11を屈曲させる工程を兼ねることができるので、ジョイントコネクタ10の製造工程を効率化できる。
 本実施形態によれば、アッパーカバー60に設けられたロック爪66が、ロアハウジング30に設けられたロック受け部33に係止することにより、アッパーカバー60は閉鎖位置でロアハウジング30に組み付けられるようになっており、ロアガイド部36およびアッパーガイド部69はアッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して回転する回転軸に近接して設けられており、ロック爪66は、回転軸から離れた位置に設けられている。
 電線11を屈曲させるロアガイド部36およびアッパーガイド部69が回転軸に近接して設けられているのに対して、アッパーカバー60とロアハウジング30とを係止する構成が回転軸から離れているので、アッパーカバー60とロアハウジング30とを係止させる際の荷重を、てこの原理により、電線11を屈曲させるための力として効率的に利用することができる。これにより、電線11を屈曲させることができる。
 本実施形態によれば、ロアガイド部36の上面は、アッパーカバー60が開放位置と閉鎖位置との間を移動する軌道に沿った形状をなしている。これにより、アッパーカバー60がロアハウジング30に対して回転した場合に、アッパーカバー60とロアガイド部36の上部とが接触することを抑制できる。
 本実施形態によれば、ロアガイド部36は、複数の電線11と接触して複数の電線11を屈曲させるロア接触部38を有し、アッパーガイド部69は、複数の電線11と接触して複数の電線11を屈曲させるアッパー接触部70を有する。
 電線11が、アッパーカバー60のアッパー接触部70と、ロアハウジング30のロア接触部38の双方と接触するので、電線11に加えられた力を、アッパーカバー60とロアハウジング30の双方で受けることができる。これにより、電線11に加えられた力が端子12にまで伝達されることをより抑制できる。
 本実施形態によれば、ロアガイド部36は、複数の電線11と接触して複数の電線11を屈曲させるロア接触部38を有し、アッパーガイド部69は、複数の電線11と接触して複数の電線11を屈曲させるアッパー接触部70を有する。
 ロアハウジング30に設けられたロアガイド部36が電線11と接触するので、電線11に対して力が加えられた場合に、ロアハウジング30によって、この力を受けることができる。また、アッパーカバー60に設けられたアッパーガイド部69が電線11と接触するので、電線11に対して力が加えられた場合に、アッパーカバー60によって、この力を受けることができる。このように本実施形態によれば、電線11に加えられる力をロアハウジング30およびアッパーカバー60によって受けることができる。これにより、電線11に加えられた力が端子12にまで伝達されることをより抑制できる。
 ロア接触部38およびアッパー接触部70が曲面形状を有することにより、電線11は、ロア接触部38およびアッパー接触部70と曲面部分と接触する。これにより、電線11は曲面形状に沿って緩やかに曲がるので、電線11に応力が集中することを抑制できる。
 本実施形態によれば、ロアハウジング30には複数の電線11に接触することで複数の電線11のそれぞれを位置決めする電線挿通孔37を備える。
 ロアハウジング30に設けられた電線挿通孔37によって、複数の電線11のそれぞれが、ロアハウジング30内で位置決めされる。これにより、複数の電線11が屈曲される部位を、正確に位置決めすることができる。
 本実施形態によれば、複数の端子12に接続されるバスバー50を備え、バスバー50は、複数のタブ52と、複数のタブ52を連結する連結部54と、を有し、複数の端子12のそれぞれは、複数のタブ52と接続する筒部17と、前後方向に沿って延びるとともに電線11を挟持する上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bと、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bの外側に配されるとともに前後方向に沿って移動可能なスライド部16と、を有し、スライド部16は、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bに複数の電線11の1本が挟まれた状態で、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bを電線11に向けて加圧する上側加圧部25Aおよび下側加圧部25Bを有する。
 上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bが上側加圧部25Aおよび下側加圧部25Bに押圧されることによって電線11と端子12とが接続されているので、電線11の外周にバレルを圧着する際に必要とされる金型が不要となり、ジョイントコネクタ10の製造コストを低減できる。
 本実施形態によれば、アッパーカバー60は、ロアハウジング30に組み付けられた状態で、端子12と係合する端子係合部63を有する。
 端子係合部63が端子12と係合することにより、振動等により端子12に力が加えられた場合でも、この力を端子係合部63で受けることができるので、端子12をロアハウジング30内に保持することができる。
 本実施形態によれば、端子12は、複数の電線11が接続される複数の電線接続部20と、スライド部16と、を有し、複数の電線接続部20は、それぞれ、前後方向に沿って延びるとともに複数の電線11の1本を挟持する上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bを有し、スライド部16は、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bの外側に配されるとともに前後方向に沿って、本係止位置と、本係止位置とは異なる仮係止位置と、の間を移動可能となっており、スライド部16は、本係止位置に移動したときに、上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bに複数の電線11の1本が挟まれた状態で上側挟持部18Aおよび下側挟持部18Bを電線11に向けて加圧する上側加圧部25Aおよび下側加圧部25Bを有し、アッパーカバー60は、スライド部16が本係止位置に配された状態の端子12に係合する前端子係合部63Fおよび後端子係合部63Rを有する。
 ロアハウジング30にアッパーカバー60を組み付けることにより、アッパーカバー60の前端子係合部63Fは、本係止位置に移動したスライド部16の治具接触部46に後方から係合する。また、後端子係合部63Rは、本係止位置に移動したスライド部の後端部に後方から係合する。これにより、スライド部16が端子12に対して本係止位置に移動したか否かを検知することができる。
<実施形態2>
 次に、本開示の実施形態2にかかるジョイントコネクタ110が図16から図25を参照しつつ説明される。図16に示されるように、ジョイントコネクタ110は、ロアハウジング130と、ロアハウジング130に組み付けられるアッパーカバー160と、を有する。
[ロアハウジング130]
 図17に示されるように、ロアハウジング130の側壁に突出して設けられた軸部135は、概ね円柱形状をなしている。軸部135の上面と下面は切り欠かれており、前後方向に延びる平面140が形成されている。
 ロアハウジング130の側壁の上端縁には、前端部から後方に延びるスライドガイド部141が形成されている。スライドガイド部141の後端部は、前端部に比べて幅狭に形成された幅狭部142とされる。
 ロアハウジング130の側壁には、スライドガイド部141よりも後方の位置であって、かつスライドガイド部141よりも下方の位置に、外方に突出するスライドロック部143が設けられている。
 図16に示されるように、ロアハウジング130のロアガイド部136に形成された電線挿通孔137は、前方に向かうに従って先細り形状に形成されている。電線挿通孔137が先細り形状に形成された部分の内径は、電線11の絶縁被覆14の直径よりも小さく、芯線13の直径よりも大きく設定されている。
[アッパーカバー160]
 図18に示されるように、アッパーカバー160の側壁の前端部には、ロック爪166が形成されている。ロック爪166には、ロック爪166の下端部から上方に切り欠かれた切欠部171が設けられている。
 アッパーカバー160の側壁のうち、ロック爪166の後方には、スライドロック受け部172が陥没して形成されている。このスライドロック受け部172内に、ロアハウジング130のスライドロック部143が嵌ることにより、アッパーカバー160とロアハウジング130とが前後方向に移動が規制された状態で組み付けられるようになっている。
 アッパーカバー160に設けられた軸孔167は、内形状が円形状をなした回転部167Aと、回転部から後方に延びた延長部167Bと、を有する。
 回転部167A内には軸部135が嵌入されるようになっている。軸部135は、回転部167A内に嵌入した状態で、後述するように、開放位置と、仮閉鎖位置との間で回転可能になっている。
 延長部167Bの内形状は、前後方向に延びた長方形状をなしている。この延長部167Bの上下方向の高さ寸法は、ロアハウジング130の軸部135の上部および下部に設けられた平面140の上下方向の間隔と同じか、やや大きく設定されている。これにより、アッパーカバー160は、軸孔167の延長部167Bと、軸部135の平面140が嵌り合った状態で、前後方向に移動可能になっている。
[端子112]
 図16に示されるように、端子112は、電線11を上下に挟持する上側挟持部118Aと下側挟持部118Bとを有する。上側挟持部118Aおよび下側挟持部118Bの前方には延長部153が延びている。複数(本実施形態では4つ)の延長部153は左右方向に延びる連結部154によって接続されている。
 図19に示されるように、連結部154は、上方(連結部154の板面に交差する方向の一例)に突出した山形に屈曲した複数(本実施形態では3つ)の折り曲げ部155が形成されている。折り曲げ部155は、タブ52が連結されたいわゆるキャリアと呼ばれる部分が曲げられることにより形成される。
 連結部154の左右の端部156は、バスバー載置部32の左右両端部から、それぞれ外方に突出している(図20参照)。連結部154の端部156は、ロアハウジング130に設けられた端子係止部144によって上方から接触されることにより、上方へ抜け止め状態で保持されるようになっている。
上記以外の構成については、実施形態1と略同様なので、同一部材については同一符号を付し、重複する説明を省略する。
[ジョイントコネクタ110の組み立て工程]
 続いて本実施形態にかかるジョイントコネクタ110の組み立て工程の一例について説明する。ジョイントコネクタ110の組み立て工程は、以下の記載に限定されない。
 図21に示されるように、端子112に対してスライド部16が仮係止された端子112が、ロアハウジング130内に収容される。アッパーカバー160が、ロアハウジングに対して、ロアハウジング130の上面の一部を塞ぐ仮閉鎖位置に取り付けられる。この状態では、アッパーカバー160の端子係合部63のうち、前端子係合部63Fの前端部が治具接触部46に後方から接触するとともに、後端子係合部63Rの前端部がスライド部16に後方から接触することにより、端子112が後方へ移動することが抑制されるようになっている。
 端子112の連結部154がロアハウジング130の端子係止部144に係止されることにより、端子112は前方へ移動することが抑制されるようになっている。
 図22に示されるように、アッパーカバー160を開放位置に回転させる。電線挿通孔137に皮剥ぎした電線11が後方から挿入される。芯線13は、スライド部16内を挿通され、さらに、上側挟持部118Aと下側挟持部118Bの間に挿通される。
 図23に示されるように、治具45を治具接触部46に後方から接触させることにより、スライド部16を前方に移動させる。これにより、電線11の芯線13が上側挟持部118Aおよび下側挟持部118Bに挟まれることにより、芯線13と端子112とが電気的に接続される。アッパーカバー160を矢線Aで示す方向に回転させる。
 図24に示されるように、アッパーカバー160を、ロアハウジング130に対して回転させて仮閉鎖位置に組み付ける。この状態では、電線11の絶縁被覆14は、比較的に緩やかに曲がっている。これにより、アッパーカバー160を開放位置から仮閉鎖位置にまで回転させるための力を小さくすることができる。
 図25に示されるように、アッパーカバー160が、ロアハウジング130に対して仮閉鎖位置に保持された状態では、スライドロック部143は、切欠部171の内部に嵌っている。アッパーカバー160の前端部は、スライドガイド部141のやや後方に位置している。
 アッパーカバー160を前方に移動させて、ロアハウジング130に対して閉鎖位置に組み付ける。アッパーカバー160の前端部は、スライドガイド部141と摺接することにより前方へとガイドされる。図20に示されるように、スライドロック部143は、スライドロック受け部172の内部に嵌り込んでいる。これにより、ロアハウジング130とアッパーカバー160とが前後方向に位置決め保持されている。
 図16に示されるように、ロアガイド部136と、アッパーガイド部169に挟まれることにより、電線11は屈曲した状態で保持される。これにより、電線11に外力が加えられた場合でも、電線11のうち屈曲した部分において力が吸収されるので、端子112に力が伝達されることが抑制されるようになっている。これによりジョイントコネクタ110が完成する。
[本実施形態の作用効果]
 続いて、本実施形態の作用効果について説明する。本実施形態は、アッパーカバー160は、ロアハウジング130に対して、ロアハウジング130の上面の一部を塞ぐ仮閉鎖位置から閉鎖位置との間で、前後方向に沿って移動可能に組み付けられている。
 仮閉鎖位置から閉鎖位置へとアッパーカバー160を移動させることにより、電線11を、屈曲した状態で保持することができる。これにより、電線11に加えられた外力がジョイントコネクタ110の内部にまで伝達されることをより抑制することができる。
 本実施形態によれば、ロアハウジング130はアッパーカバー160に向かって突出する軸部135を有し、アッパーカバー160は軸部135が係合する軸孔167を有し、軸孔167は、軸部135と相対的に回転可能に係合する回転部167Aと、回転部167Aから延びる延長部167Bと、を有し、延長部167Bは、アッパーカバー160がロアハウジング130に対して仮閉鎖位置に配された状態で前後方向に沿って延びている。
 軸孔167の回転部167Aに軸部135が係合した状態でアッパーカバー160を開放位置から仮閉鎖位置まで回転させた後、軸部135を前後方向に沿って延長部167B内を移動させることにより、アッパーカバー160を仮閉鎖位置から閉鎖位置へと容易に移動させることができる。
<実施形態3>
 次に、本開示の実施形態3にかかる雌コネクタ210(コネクタの一例)について図26から図29を参照しつつ説明する。図26に示されるように、雌コネクタ210は、ロアハウジング230と、アッパーカバー260と、雌端子212(端子の一例)と、を有する。
[ロアハウジング230]
 図27に示されるように、ロアハウジング230は、絶縁性の合成樹脂製であって、上下方向に扁平であり、かつ、前後方向に延びる直方体形状をなしている。ロアハウジング230には、複数(本実施形態では5つ)の雌端子212が収容される複数(本実施形態では5つ)のキャビティ229が、前後方向に延びて形成されている。キャビティ229の前端部には前方に開口する挿入孔283が形成されている。挿入孔283内には、雄タブ形状をなす相手方端子284が前方から挿入されるようになっている。
 各キャビティ229の後端部は後方に開口しており、電線11が挿通される電線挿通孔237とされる。キャビティ229のうち、前端部と後端部とを除く領域は上方に開口されている。
[アッパーカバー260]
 アッパーカバー260は、絶縁性の合成樹脂製であって、上壁261と、上壁261の両側縁から上方および下方の双方に延びる側壁262と、上壁の前端部から後方に延びるロックアーム280と、を有する
 ロックアーム280の前端部は、アッパーカバー260の前端部と一体に形成されている。ロックアーム280は、前端部を支点にして、上下方向に撓み変形可能に形成されている。ロックアーム280の後端部には、作業者が把持する把持部282が形成されている。ロックアーム280の上面には、前後方向の中央付近に、上方に突出するコネクタロック部281が形成されている。コネクタロック部281と、図示しない雄コネクタと係止することにより、雌コネクタ210と雄コネクタとが、嵌合状態に保持されるようになっている。
[雌端子212]
 雌端子212は、端子本体215と、端子本体215に対して相対的にスライド移動可能なスライド部16と、を備える。
 端子本体215は、雄タブ状をなす相手方端子284が挿入可能な端子接続部217を有する。端子接続部217は前後方向に延びる筒状をなしている。端子接続部217の前端部は前方に開口しており、相手方端子284が前方から挿入可能になっている。端子接続部217の内壁には、内方に突出する弾性接触片219が形成されている。弾性接触片219は弾性変形可能に形成されている。端子接続部217の内部に挿入された相手方端子284は、弾性接触片219と、端子接続部217の内壁との間に挟まれることにより、雌端子212と電気的に接続されるようになっている。端子接続部217の後方には、電線11と接続される電線接続部120が設けられている。
 上記以外の構成については、実施形態2と略同様なので、同一部材については同一符号を付し、重複する説明を省略する。
[雌端子の組み立て工程]
 続いて、本実施形態にかかる雌コネクタ210の組み立て工程の例について説明する。雌コネクタの組み立て工程は以下の記述に限定されない。
 スライド部16が仮係止された端子112が、ロアハウジング230のキャビティ229内に収容される。アッパーカバー260が、ロアハウジング230の上面の一部を塞ぐ仮閉鎖位置に取り付けられる(図29参照)。
 図28に示されるように、アッパーカバー260を開放位置に回転させる。電線挿通孔237に皮剥ぎした電線11が後方から挿入される。次に、スライド部16を前方に押圧して本係止位置に移動させる。これにより、芯線13と雌端子212とが電気的に接続される。
 図29に示されるように、アッパーカバー260を、ロアハウジング230に対して回転させて仮閉鎖位置に組み付ける。
 図26に示されるように、アッパーカバー260を前方に移動させて、ロアハウジング230に対して閉鎖位置に組み付ける。図27に示されるように、ロアガイド部136と、アッパーガイド部169に挟まれることにより、電線11は屈曲した状態で保持される。これにより雌コネクタ210が完成する。
[本実施形態の作用効果]
 本実施形態によれば、ロアハウジング230は、雌端子212が配される部分に、相手方端子284が挿入される挿入孔283を有する。これにより、本開示を雌コネクタ210に適用できる。
<他の実施形態>
(1)端子は、電線の外周に圧着する圧着部を備える構成としてもよい。
(2)コネクタは、2本、3本、または5本以上の電線を接続するジョイントコネクタとしてもよいし、いわゆる雄タブを有する雄コネクタとしてもよく、任意の形状のコネクタとすることができる。
(3)電線位置決め部は、リブ状、溝状、フック状等、電線11と接触して電線11の位置決めをするものであれば任意の形状を選択できる。
(4)実施形態2にかかる軸孔167は、アッパーカバー160が仮閉鎖位置に回転した状態で前後方向に延びる長孔であってもよく、任意の形状とすることができる。
(5)実施形態3にかかる雌コネクタにおいては、ロアハウジングが挿通孔を有する構成としたが、これに限られず、アッパーカバーが挿通孔を有する構成としてもよい。雌コネクタは、1つから4つ、または6つ以上の雌端子を備える構成としてもよい。

Claims (12)

  1.  電線に接続されるコネクタであって、
     ロアハウジングと、アッパーカバーとを備え、
     前記ロアハウジングは前記電線の延び方向の前方端部にそれぞれ接続される端子を収容し、
     前記アッパーカバーは前記ロアハウジングの上面を塞ぐように組み付けられるものであり、
     前記ロアハウジングまたは前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングと前記アッパーカバーとが組み付けられた状態で、前記電線と接触して屈曲させるガイド部を備えるコネクタ。
  2.  前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに対して、前記ロアハウジングの上面を開放する開放位置と、前記ロアハウジングの上面を塞ぐ閉鎖位置との間で回転可能に組み付けられており、
     前記ガイド部は前記閉鎖位置において、前記電線と接触して屈曲させる請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
  3.  前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに対して、前記ロアハウジングの上面の一部を塞ぐ仮閉鎖位置から前記閉鎖位置との間で、前記延び方向に沿って移動可能に組み付けられている請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
  4.  前記アッパーカバーおよび前記ロアハウジングの一方は他方に向かって突出する軸部を有し、他方は前記軸部が係合する軸孔を有し、
     前記軸孔は、前記軸部と相対的に回転可能に係合する回転部と、前記回転部から延びる延長部と、を有し、
     前記延長部は、前記アッパーカバーが前記ロアハウジングに対して仮閉鎖位置に配された状態で前記延び方向に沿って延びている請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
  5.  前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングの一方に設けられたロック部が、前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングの他方に係止することにより、前記アッパーカバーは前記閉鎖位置で前記ロアハウジングに組み付けられるようになっており、
     前記ガイド部は前記アッパーカバーが前記ロアハウジングに対して回転する回転軸に近接して設けられており、
     前記ロック部は、前記回転軸から離れた位置に設けられている請求項2から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  6.  前記ガイド部は、前記ロアハウジングに設けられたロアガイド部と、前記アッパーカバーに設けられたアッパーガイド部と、を備え、
     前記ロアガイド部の上面は、前記アッパーカバーが前記開放位置と前記閉鎖位置との間を移動する軌道に沿った形状をなしている請求項2から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  7.  前記ガイド部は、前記ロアハウジングに設けられたロアガイド部と、前記アッパーカバーに設けられたアッパーガイド部と、を備え、
     前記ロアガイド部は、前記電線と接触して前記電線を屈曲させるロア接触部を有し、
     前記アッパーガイド部は、前記電線と接触して前記電線を屈曲させるアッパー接触部を有する請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  8.  前記ロアハウジングには前記電線に接触することで前記電線を位置決めする位置決め部を備える請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  9.  複数の端子に接続されるバスバーを備え、
     前記バスバーは、複数のタブと、前記複数のタブを連結する連結部と、を有し、
     前記複数の端子のそれぞれは、前記複数のタブと接続するバスバー接続部と、前記延び方向に沿って延びるとともに前記電線を挟持する挟持部と、前記挟持部の外側に配されるとともに前記延び方向に沿って移動可能なスライド部と、を有し、
     前記スライド部は、前記挟持部に前記電線が挟まれた状態で、前記挟持部を前記電線に向けて加圧する加圧部を有する請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  10.  前記アッパーカバーまたは前記ロアハウジングは、前記端子が配される部分に、相手方端子が挿入される挿入孔を有する請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  11.  前記アッパーカバーは、前記ロアハウジングに組み付けられた状態で、前記端子と係合する端子係合部を有する請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
  12.  前記端子は、前記電線が接続される電線接続部と、スライド部と、を有し、
     前記電線接続部は、それぞれ、前記延び方向に沿って延びるとともに前記電線を挟持する挟持部を有し、
     前記スライド部は、前記挟持部の外側に配されるとともに前記延び方向に沿って、本係止位置と、前記本係止位置とは異なる仮係止位置と、の間を移動可能となっており、
     前記スライド部は、前記本係止位置に移動したときに、前記挟持部に前記電線が挟まれた状態で前記挟持部を前記電線に向けて加圧する加圧部を有し、
     前記端子係合部は、前記スライド部が前記本係止位置に配された状態の前記端子と係合する請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
