Abstract
本発明は、断熱性および透湿性に優れる、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材を提供する。 本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、含フッ素発泡ゴムを有し、前記含フッ素発泡ゴムが含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含み、前記含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率が20~70%である。
Description
本発明は、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材、ウェアラブルデバイス、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造方法に関する。
近年、ウェアラブルデバイスの開発が活発に行われている。ウェアラブルデバイスは、曲線を有する生体に直接装着可能である。ウェアラブルデバイスにおいては、演算素子、給電素子等がウェアラブルデバイス用基材に設置されていることが多い。ウェアラブルデバイス用基材としては、フレキシブルであり、皮脂等の汚れによって劣化しにくい素材が適している。
含フッ素ゴムは、耐薬品性、耐油性等に優れる素材であり、特に皮脂等の汚れによって劣化しにくい点で、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材に適している。
含フッ素ゴムとしては、例えば、フッ化ビニリデンに基づく単位とヘキサフルオロプロピレンに基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物、テトラフルオロエチレンに基づく単位とプロピレンに基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物、テトラフルオロエチレンに基づく単位とパーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)に基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物等が知られている。
含フッ素ゴムの中でもフレキシブルな素材として、含フッ素発泡ゴムが知られている(特許文献1)。
含フッ素ゴムとしては、例えば、フッ化ビニリデンに基づく単位とヘキサフルオロプロピレンに基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物、テトラフルオロエチレンに基づく単位とプロピレンに基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物、テトラフルオロエチレンに基づく単位とパーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)に基づく単位とを有する共重合体の架橋物等が知られている。
含フッ素ゴムの中でもフレキシブルな素材として、含フッ素発泡ゴムが知られている(特許文献1)。
生体に直接装着するウェアラブルデバイスにおいて、演算素子、給電素子を駆動させた際の発熱が問題となっている。そこで、各種素子と生体の間にある基材の厚みを大きくしたり、基材内部に独立気泡を形成したりすることで、基材の断熱性を向上させ、発熱の影響を低減することができる。
しかし、いずれの方法をとっても基材の透湿性は低下するため、過剰の水分によって測定精度の低下を招く可能性がある。また、蒸れることにより、装着時の快適性も損なわれる。特に、ウェアラブルデバイスを長時間装着する場合、これらの問題は顕著となると考えられる。

本発明は、上記の問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、断熱性および透湿性に優れる、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材を提供することを課題とする。
本発明は、下記の態様を有する。
[1]含フッ素発泡ゴムを有し、前記含フッ素発泡ゴムが、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含み、前記含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率が、20~70%である、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材。
[2]前記含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が、20~90%である、[1]に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。
[3]前記含フッ素共重合体が、含フッ素単量体に基づく単位を含有し、前記含フッ素単量体がテトラフルオロエチレン、フッ化ビニリデン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、下式1で表される化合物、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上である、[1]または[2]に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。

本発明によれば、断熱性および透湿性に優れる、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材が得られる。
本明細書における下記の用語の意味は、下記の通りである。
「透湿性」とは、水蒸気を透過する性質を意味する。透湿性の程度は、透湿度で評価できる。
「オキサアルキル基」とは、アルキル基の炭素原子(末端炭素原子以外の炭素原子)の1個以上が酸素原子に置換されたアルキル基をいう。ただし、酸素原子に置換される炭素原子が2個以上の場合、酸素原子に置換される2個以上の炭素原子は隣接していないものとする。
「オキサアルキル基の炭素原子数」とは、オキサアルキル基において酸素原子に置換された炭素原子を含めずに数えた炭素原子の数を意味する。
「単位」とは、単量体が重合して直接形成された、単量体1分子に由来する原子団と、原子団の一部を化学変換して得られる原子団との総称である。「単量体に基づく単位」を、以下、単に「単位」と記載することがある。
「多孔質部材」とは、厚さ方向の断面における孔径0.1~1000μmの細孔を1cm3あたり少なくとも10個以上含む部材を意味する。多孔質部材における1cm3あたりの細孔の数は、100個以上が好ましく、1,000個以上がより好ましい。
「含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体」とは、含フッ素発泡ゴムの成形体を意味する。
本明細書において、式1で表される化合物を「化合物1」と記載し、式2で表される化合物を「化合物2」と記載する。
数値範囲を示す「~」は、その前後に記載された数値を下限値および上限値として含むことを意味する。

ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、含フッ素発泡ゴムのみからなるものでもよく、含フッ素発泡ゴムと他部材との積層体でもよい。他部材としては、透湿性の点から、発泡体、繊維を不織布状等に集成して得られる繊維集成体等の多孔質部材が好ましい。また、多孔質部材は、複数の含フッ素発泡ゴムの間に配されてもよい。
ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、含フッ素発泡ゴムのみからなるものでもよく、含フッ素発泡ゴムと他部材との積層体でもよい。他部材としては、透湿性の点から、発泡体、繊維を不織布状等に集成して得られる繊維集成体等の多孔質部材が好ましい。また、多孔質部材は、複数の含フッ素発泡ゴムの間に配されてもよい。
ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、他部材としてスキン層を含フッ素発泡ゴムの表面にさらに有してもよい。ウェアラブルデバイス用基材がスキン層を有する場合、肌触りが良くなり、ウェアラブルデバイスに適用した際の快適性が向上する。また、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、透湿性を損なわない範囲で、生体側となる表面に設けられた接着層を他部材としてさらに有してもよい。スキン層、接着層は特に限定されない。
<含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率、連続気泡率、独立気泡率>
含フッ素発泡ゴムは、複数の気泡を有する。含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率は、20~90%が好ましく、25~85%がより好ましく、35~80%がさらに好ましく、45~75%が最も好ましい。含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率は、後述の(含フッ素発泡ゴムの製造)の項で詳細に説明するが、例えば、発泡剤、架橋剤の使用量;成形温度、成形時間等の成形条件によって調整できる。
ここで、含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率は、含フッ素発泡ゴムの体積V1に対する気泡の体積の割合である。体積V1は、含フッ素発泡ゴムの外寸から求められるみかけ容積である。含フッ素発泡ゴムが、例えば立方体である場合、立方体の底面積と厚さから体積V1が求められる。

含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡は、「連続気泡」と「独立気泡」の2種類に分けられる。連続気泡は、含フッ素発泡ゴムの外部空間に繋がっている状態の気泡である。一方、独立気泡は、含フッ素発泡ゴムの外部空間に繋がっていない状態の気泡である。その内部の気体が水で置換されない気泡が独立気泡であり、その内部の気体が水で置換される気泡が連続気泡である、とも言える。水による気泡の内部の置換の有無については、例えば、含フッ素発泡ゴムを水中に固定し、50mmHgに減圧して5分間保持した後、常圧に戻して5分間保持する工程を2回繰り返すことで判定できる。
含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率の高さは、含フッ素発泡ゴム、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の透湿性に寄与する。ここで、連続気泡の中には、1か所のみが外部空間に繋がっている気泡も含まれる。このような1か所のみが外部空間に繋がっている連続気泡は、必ずしも常に含フッ素発泡ゴムの透湿性に寄与するとは言えないが、連続気泡率が高い含フッ素発泡ゴムでは、生体と含フッ素発泡ゴムの外部空間を繋ぐ気泡の割合が増えるため、良好な透湿性を発揮すると考えられる。
含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率は、20~70%であり、25~70%が好ましく、30~70%がより好ましく、40~65%がさらに好ましい。含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率が20%以上であるため、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は透湿性に優れる。含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率が70%以下であるため、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材は断熱性に優れる。そのためウェアラブルデバイスに適用した際に、演算素子、給電素子を駆動させたときに発生する熱を通しにくく、装着時の快適性が向上する。
含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率は、下式4から算出できる。

含フッ素発泡ゴムの独立気泡率の高さは、含フッ素発泡ゴム、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の断熱性に寄与する。

含フッ素発泡ゴムの独立気泡率は、0~70%が好ましく、0~60%がより好ましく、5~50%がさらに好ましく、5~35%が最も好ましい。独立気泡率が5%以上であると、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材が断熱性にさらに優れる。独立気泡率が70%以下であると、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材が透湿性にさらに優れる。
含フッ素発泡ゴムの独立気泡率は、下式5から算出できる。

<含フッ素共重合体の架橋物>
含フッ素発泡ゴムは、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む。含フッ素発泡ゴムは、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物に加えて、添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。含フッ素発泡ゴムに含まれる添加剤については後述する。
含フッ素発泡ゴムとしては、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、かつ、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋して得られる含フッ素発泡ゴムが好ましい。
含フッ素発泡ゴムは、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む。含フッ素発泡ゴムは、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物に加えて、添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。含フッ素発泡ゴムに含まれる添加剤については後述する。
含フッ素発泡ゴムとしては、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、かつ、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋して得られる含フッ素発泡ゴムが好ましい。
ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物(以下、「含フッ素共重合体組成物」と記載する。)は、本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造に用いられる組成物である。含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、次いで含フッ素共重合体組成物中の含フッ素共重合体を架橋することで、含フッ素発泡ゴムを得ることができる。
(含フッ素共重合体組成物)
含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素共重合体と発泡剤と架橋剤とを含み、任意で架橋助剤をさらに含む。発泡剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対し0.1~20質量部であり;架橋剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対し0.05~10質量部であり;架橋助剤の含有量は、0~0.4質量部である。
含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素共重合体、発泡剤、架橋剤、架橋助剤以外に添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。含フッ素共重合体組成物が添加剤をさらに含み、添加剤が含フッ素共重合体組成物の発泡反応、含フッ素共重合体の架橋反応において消失しない場合、含フッ素発泡ゴムが、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物に加えて、含フッ素共重合体組成物由来の添加剤をさらに含むことになる。

含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素共重合体、発泡剤、架橋剤、架橋助剤以外に添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。含フッ素共重合体組成物が添加剤をさらに含み、添加剤が含フッ素共重合体組成物の発泡反応、含フッ素共重合体の架橋反応において消失しない場合、含フッ素発泡ゴムが、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物に加えて、含フッ素共重合体組成物由来の添加剤をさらに含むことになる。
[含フッ素共重合体]
含フッ素共重合体は、含フッ素単量体に基づく単位を含有する。含フッ素共重合体は、含フッ素単量体に基づく単位に加えて、炭化水素単量体に基づく単位、架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位をさらに含有していてもよい。

含フッ素単量体は、フッ素原子を含有し、炭素-炭素不飽和結合を有する炭化水素化合物である。含フッ素単量体は、炭化水素化合物のすべての水素原子がフッ素原子で置換されていてもよく、炭化水素化合物の一部の水素原子がフッ素原子に置換されていてもよい。
含フッ素単量体としては、テトラフルオロエチレン(以下、「TFE」と記載する。)、フッ化ビニリデン(以下、「VdF」と記載する。)、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(以下、「HFP」と記載する。)、化合物1、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上が好ましい。
含フッ素単量体が、TFE、VdF、HFP、化合物1、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムとした際の耐熱性、耐薬品性がよくなる。また、含フッ素単量体は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
含フッ素単量体としては、テトラフルオロエチレン(以下、「TFE」と記載する。)、フッ化ビニリデン(以下、「VdF」と記載する。)、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(以下、「HFP」と記載する。)、化合物1、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上が好ましい。
含フッ素単量体が、TFE、VdF、HFP、化合物1、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムとした際の耐熱性、耐薬品性がよくなる。また、含フッ素単量体は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。

含フッ素共重合体が炭化水素単量体に基づく単位を含有する場合、炭化水素単量体に基づく単位の割合は、含フッ素単量体に基づく単位と炭化水素単量体に基づく単位の合計100モル%に対して10~80モル%が好ましく、20~70モル%がより好ましく、30~60モル%がさらに好ましい。炭化水素単量体に基づく単位の割合が前記下限値以上であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムの硬度が過度に上昇しにくい。炭化水素単量体に基づく単位の割合が前記上限値以下であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムの耐熱性、耐薬品性が向上しやすい。
架橋性基含有単量体とは、同一分子内に後述の架橋性基を1個以上有し、分子量が2,000以下である化合物である。架橋性基含有単量体における架橋性基は、含フッ素共重合体の製造の際には実質的に反応しない。そのため含フッ素共重合体は、架橋性基含有単量体に由来する架橋性基を有する。
架橋性基含有単量体中の架橋性基としては、例えば、ハロゲン原子、酸無水物残基、カルボキシ基、アミノ基、シアノ基、水酸基等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、ハロゲン原子が好ましい。ハロゲン原子の中でもヨウ素原子が特に好ましい。
架橋性基含有単量体の好適な具体例としては、例えば、(2-ブロモ-1,1,2,2-テトラフルオロエチル)トリフルオロビニルエーテル、(2-ヨード-1,1,2,2-テトラフルオロエチル)トリフルオロビニルエーテル、クロトン酸ビニル、メタクリル酸ビニル、無水マレイン酸、無水イタコン酸、マレイン酸、イタコン酸、ヘプタフルオロ-4-ペンテンニトリル等が挙げられる。架橋性基含有単量体は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
含フッ素共重合体が架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位を含有する場合、架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位の割合は、含フッ素共重合体を構成する全単位100モル%に対して、0.001~10モル%が好ましく、0.001~5モル%がより好ましく、0.01~3モル%がさらに好ましい。
架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位の割合が前記下限値以上であると架橋密度が充分となり、含フッ素発泡ゴムに充分な引っ張り強度が発現される。架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位の割合が前記上限値以下であると、硬度、耐熱性、耐薬品性等のバランスのとれた含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られやすい。

含フッ素共重合体の好適な態様としては、例えば、TFE/P共重合体、TFE/P/VdF共重合体、TFE/HFP共重合体、VdF/HFP共重合体、TFE/VdF/HFP共重合体、TFE/PAVE系重合体(具体的には、TFE/PMVE共重合体、TFE/PPVE共重合体、TFE/PEVE共重合体、TFE/PMVE/PPVE共重合体)、TFE/POAVE共重合体(具体的には、TFE/CF2=C(OC2F5)2共重合体)、TFE/MVE共重合体、TFE/EVE共重合体、TFE/BVE共重合体、TFE/EVE/BVE共重合体、VdF/PPVE共重合体、E/HFP共重合体が挙げられる。また、これらの好適な態様の含フッ素共重合体において、架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位をさらに含有する含フッ素共重合体も好ましい。これらの含フッ素共重合体は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
ここで、例えば、「TFE/P共重合体」とは、TFEに基づく単位(以下、「TFE単位」と記載する。)と、Pに基づく単位(以下、「TFE単位」と記載する。)からなる含フッ素共重合体を意味する。他の共重合体も同様の意味である。

これらの中でも含フッ素共重合体としては、TFE/P共重合体、TFE/P/VdF共重合体、TFE/PAVE共重合体、VdF/HFP共重合体、TFE/VdF/HFP共重合体が好ましい。また、これらの含フッ素共重合体において、架橋性基含有単量体に基づく単位をさらに含有する含フッ素共重合体も好ましい。
特にTFE/P共重合体、TFE/P/VdF共重合体、VdF/HFP共重合体、TFE/VdF/HFP共重合体が、引っ張り強度と耐熱性および耐薬品性のバランスの点でより好ましく、TFE/P共重合体が最も好ましい。
これらの含フッ素共重合体における各単量体に基づく単位のモル比は、特に限定されず、要求される特性に応じて適宜設定できる。ただし、含フッ素共重合体の好適な具体例としては、例えば、下記の共重合体が挙げられる。

ここで、TFE(40~60モル%)/P(60~40モル%)共重合体とは、TFE単位とP単位とからなる共重合体であり、TFE単位とP単位の割合の比率(TFE単位:P単位)が、40~60モル%:60~40モル%である含フッ素共重合体を意味する。他の共重合体も同様の意味である。

また、TFE(40~60モル%)/P(60~40モル%)共重合体においてさらに架橋基含有単量体に基づく単位を全単位に対して0.001~10モル%含有する共重合体とは、TFE単位とP単位の割合が40~60モル%:60~40モル%であり、さらに、架橋基含有単量体に基づく単位を全単位に対して0.001~10モル%含有する共重合体を意味する。他の共重合体も同様の意味である。
含フッ素共重合体のガラス転移点は、20℃以下が好ましく、10℃以下がより好ましく、5℃以下がさらに好ましい。含フッ素共重合体のガラス転移点が前記数値範囲内であると、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む含フッ素発泡ゴムが柔軟性に優れる。そのため、低気温下でもウェアラブルデバイス用基材を含むウェアラブルデバイスを快適に使用できる。
含フッ素共重合体のガラス転移点は、JIS K 6240:2011(対応国際規格ISO 22768:2006)に準拠して測定される値であり、示差走査熱量測定(DSC)で求めた中間点ガラス転移温度である。

含フッ素共重合体のムーニー粘度は、1~200が好ましく、5~190がより好ましく、10~180がさらに好ましい。含フッ素共重合体のムーニー粘度は、JIS K6300に準じて100℃において測定される値である。
含フッ素共重合体の製造方法は特に限定されない。乳化重合、溶液重合等を好ましく用いることができ、特に乳化重合が好ましい。
[発泡剤]
発泡剤は特に限定されない。例えば、有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤、ガス発泡剤が挙げられる。有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤を含む含フッ素共重合体組成物を所定の温度以上に加熱すると、発泡反応が開始する。含フッ素共重合体組成物にガス発泡剤を注入すると、ガス発泡剤によって含フッ素共重合体組成物に気泡を生じさせることができる。
発泡剤としては、有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤が好ましく、架橋、成形を行う温度で反応する有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤が特に好ましい。
発泡剤は特に限定されない。例えば、有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤、ガス発泡剤が挙げられる。有機系化学発泡剤、無機系化学発泡剤を含む含フッ素共重合体組成物を所定の温度以上に加熱すると、発泡反応が開始する。含フッ素共重合体組成物にガス発泡剤を注入すると、ガス発泡剤によって含フッ素共重合体組成物に気泡を生じさせることができる。

有機系化学発泡剤としては、例えば、アゾ系化合物、ニトロソ化合物、ヒドラジン化合物が挙げられる。さらに具体的には、例えば、アゾジカルボンアミド、バリウムアゾジカルボキシレート、N,N-ジニトロソペンタメチレンテトラミン、ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジン、ヒドラゾジカルボンアミドが挙げられる。有機系化学発泡剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
無機系化学発泡剤としては、例えば、炭酸水素ナトリウムが挙げられる。

含フッ素共重合体組成物中の発泡剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して、0.1~20質量部であり、0.3~15質量部が好ましく、0.5~10質量部がより好ましい。発泡剤の含有量が前記数値範囲内であると、気泡の均一性、成形物の表面平滑性、耐熱性および引っ張り強度に優れた含フッ素発泡ゴムを与える組成物が得られやすい。
[架橋剤]
架橋剤としては、有機過酸化物が好ましい。有機過酸化物は特に限定されない。有機過酸化物の1分間半減期温度は150~250℃が好ましく、150~200℃がより好ましい。有機過酸化物の1分間半減期温度は、有機過酸化物の半分量が1分間で分解する温度である。

有機過酸化物としては、例えば、ジtert-ブチルパーオキシド、tert-ブチルクミルパーオキシド、ジクミルパーオキシド、α,α’-ビス(tert-ブチルパーオキシ)-p-ジイソプロピルベンゼン、2,5-ジメチル-2,5-ジ(tert-ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン、2,5-ジメチル-2,5-ジ(tert-ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキシン-3、1,3-ビス(tert-ブチルパーオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン、1,1-ジ(tert-ブチルパーオキシ)-3,3,5-トリメチルシクロヘキサン、2,5-ジメチルへキサン-2,5-ジヒドロキシパーオキシド、ベンゾイルパーオキシド、tert-ブチルパーオキシベンゼン、2,5-ジメチル-2,5-ジ(ベンゾイルパーオキシ)ヘキサン、tert-ブチルパーオキシマレイン酸、tert-ブチルパーオキシイソプロピルカーボネート等が挙げられる。これらの有機過酸化物は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物中の架橋剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して、0.05~10質量部であり、0.3~5質量部が好ましく、0.5~3質量部がより好ましい。架橋剤の含有量が前記数値範囲内であると、気泡の均一性、成形体の表面平滑性、耐熱性および引っ張り強度に優れた含フッ素発泡ゴムを与える組成物が得られやすい。
[架橋助剤]
含フッ素共重合体組成物は、発泡剤、架橋剤に加えて、任意で架橋助剤をさらに含んでもよい。ただし、含フッ素共重合体組成物は架橋助剤を含まないか、または架橋助剤の含有量が少量であることが好ましい。含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含まない場合または架橋助剤の含有量が少量である場合、発泡状態が良好で、弾性に富み、耐熱性および耐薬品性にも優れる含フッ素発泡ゴムを再現性良く製造できる。
含フッ素共重合体組成物は、発泡剤、架橋剤に加えて、任意で架橋助剤をさらに含んでもよい。ただし、含フッ素共重合体組成物は架橋助剤を含まないか、または架橋助剤の含有量が少量であることが好ましい。含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含まない場合または架橋助剤の含有量が少量である場合、発泡状態が良好で、弾性に富み、耐熱性および耐薬品性にも優れる含フッ素発泡ゴムを再現性良く製造できる。
かかる効果が得られる理由は明らかではないが、以下のように推定される。
通常、発泡させずに架橋させる場合は架橋助剤を比較的多く配合することにより架橋密度が向上して良好な物性のゴムが得られる。一方、発泡と架橋を同時に行う場合には、架橋助剤を用いて架橋密度を上げると発泡が抑制されて不安定になる。そのため、架橋助剤を含まないか、少量を含有した組成物を用いることにより、架橋時の含フッ素ゴムの架橋密度の上昇を抑えられることから、発泡状態が良くなると考えられる。
通常、発泡させずに架橋させる場合は架橋助剤を比較的多く配合することにより架橋密度が向上して良好な物性のゴムが得られる。一方、発泡と架橋を同時に行う場合には、架橋助剤を用いて架橋密度を上げると発泡が抑制されて不安定になる。そのため、架橋助剤を含まないか、少量を含有した組成物を用いることにより、架橋時の含フッ素ゴムの架橋密度の上昇を抑えられることから、発泡状態が良くなると考えられる。
含フッ素共重合体組成物における架橋助剤は、同一分子内に反応性官能基を2個以上有する化合物である。反応性官能基としては、例えば、炭素-炭素二重結合含有基、ハロゲン原子、酸無水物残基、カルボキシ基、アミノ基、シアノ基、水酸基が挙げられる。架橋助剤の同一分子内に存在する2個以上の反応性官能基は互いに同じであってもよく、異なっていてもよい。
炭素-炭素二重結合含有基としては、例えば、ビニル基、アリル基、メタリル基等のアルケニル基;アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基等の不飽和アシル基;マレイミド基等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、炭素-炭素二重結合含有基としては炭素原子数が2~4のアルケニル基が好ましく、アリル基が特に好ましい。
架橋助剤としては、例えば、トリアリルシアヌレート、トリアリルイソシアヌレート、トリメタリルイソシアヌレート、1,3,5-トリアクリロイルヘキサヒドロ-1,3,5-トリアジン、トリアリルトリメリテート、m-フェニレンジアミンビスマレイミド、p-キノンジオキシム、p,p’-ジベンゾイルキノンジオキシム、ジプロパルギルテレフタレート、ジアリルフタレート、N,N’,N’’,N’’’-テトラアリルテレフタールアミド、ビニル基含有シロキサンオリゴマー(ポリメチルビニルシロキサン、ポリメチルフェニルビニルシロキサン等)等が挙げられる。架橋助剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含有する場合、架橋助剤としてはトリアリルシアヌレート、トリアリルイソシアヌレートおよびトリメタリルイソシアヌレートからなる群より選ばれる1種以上がより好ましい。特に架橋反応性の点で、架橋助剤としてトリアリルイソシアヌレートを使用することがさらに好ましく、架橋助剤としてトリアリルイソシアヌレートのみを使用することが特に好ましい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含有する場合、架橋助剤の含有量の上限値は、含フッ素共重合体組成物の100質量部に対して0.4質量部以下が好ましく、0.1質量部以下がより好ましい。架橋助剤の含有量が前記上限値以下であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムの発泡の均一性が優れ、表面平滑性が優れる。また、含フッ素発泡ゴムが引張り破断強度等の物性に優れ、かつ耐熱性および耐薬品性に優れる。
含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含有する場合、架橋助剤の含有量の下限値は、含フッ素共重合体組成物の100質量部に対して0.001質量部以上が好ましく、0.005質量部以上がより好ましく、0.01質量部以上が最も好ましい。架橋助剤の含有量が前記下限値以上であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムが引張り破断強度等の物性に優れ、かつ耐熱性、耐薬品性に優れる。
架橋助剤の含有量の上限値および下限値は、任意に選択して組み合わせることができる。
本発明の含フッ素共重合体組成物は、架橋助剤を含有しないことが最も好ましい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物が架橋助剤を含有する場合、架橋助剤の含有量の下限値は、含フッ素共重合体組成物の100質量部に対して0.001質量部以上が好ましく、0.005質量部以上がより好ましく、0.01質量部以上が最も好ましい。架橋助剤の含有量が前記下限値以上であると、含フッ素発泡ゴムが引張り破断強度等の物性に優れ、かつ耐熱性、耐薬品性に優れる。
架橋助剤の含有量の上限値および下限値は、任意に選択して組み合わせることができる。
本発明の含フッ素共重合体組成物は、架橋助剤を含有しないことが最も好ましい。
[添加剤]
添加剤としては、例えば、顔料、充填剤、補強剤、加工助剤、受酸剤が挙げられる。添加剤はこれらの例示に限定されず、含フッ素発泡ゴムは、その他の種々の添加剤を含んでもよい。添加剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
添加剤としては、例えば、顔料、充填剤、補強剤、加工助剤、受酸剤が挙げられる。添加剤はこれらの例示に限定されず、含フッ素発泡ゴムは、その他の種々の添加剤を含んでもよい。添加剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
顔料としては、例えば、無置換キナクリドン、ジメチルキナクリドン、アンスラキノニルレッド、ポリアゾ系イエロー、ベンズイミダゾロン系イエロー、銅フタロシアニンブルー、銅フタロシアニングリーン、コバルトフタロシアニンブルー等が挙げられる。顔料は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。顔料の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して0.1~50質量部が好ましい。
補強剤、充填剤としては、例えば、クレー、タルク、カーボンブラック、カーボンナノチューブ、酸化チタン、二酸化ケイ素、および、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリフッ化ビニル、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、TFE/エチレン共重合体、TFE/6フッ化プロピレン共重合体、TFE/パーフルオロ(アルキルビニルエーテル)共重合体等の含フッ素樹脂;発泡体、繊維を不織布状等に集成して得られる繊維集成体等の多孔質部材が挙げられる。補強剤、充填剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。前記含フッ素樹脂の溶融温度は20℃超が好ましい。補強剤、充填剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して1~100質量部が好ましい。
加工助剤としては、ステアリン酸、ステアリン酸の塩が好ましい。ステアリン酸塩としては、例えば、ステアリン酸ナトリウム、ステアリン酸カリウム、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウムが挙げられる。加工助剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。加工助剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して0.01~10質量部が好ましく、0.1~3質量部がより好ましい。
受酸剤としては、例えば、金属酸化物、金属炭酸化合物が挙げられる。金属酸化物としては、例えば、ZnO、MgO、CaO、TiO2、CuO、BaO等が挙げられる。金属炭酸化合物としては、例えば、ZnCO3、MgCO3、CaCO3等が挙げられる。受酸剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。受酸剤の含有量は、含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対して0~5質量部が好ましい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素共重合体、発泡剤、架橋剤を混合することで製造できる。必要に応じて、含フッ素共重合体、発泡剤、架橋剤に加えて、架橋助剤、添加剤を混合してもよい。架橋助剤、添加剤を混合に使用する場合、含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素共重合体、発泡剤、架橋剤に加えて、架橋助剤、添加剤をさらに含む。
混合方法としては、種々の混合方法を適用できる。例えば、2本ロール、ニーダー、バンバリーミキサー等を用いて混練する方法が好ましい。混練する際に発熱が激しい場合は、ロール等の混練機を冷却することが好ましい。混練温度は、100℃以下が好ましく、80℃以下がより好ましい。混練温度が100℃以下であると、発泡反応および架橋反応のいずれか一方または両方が起きにくくなる。混練温度の下限値は、特に限定されないが、通常は20℃である。
混合方法としては、種々の混合方法を適用できる。例えば、2本ロール、ニーダー、バンバリーミキサー等を用いて混練する方法が好ましい。混練する際に発熱が激しい場合は、ロール等の混練機を冷却することが好ましい。混練温度は、100℃以下が好ましく、80℃以下がより好ましい。混練温度が100℃以下であると、発泡反応および架橋反応のいずれか一方または両方が起きにくくなる。混練温度の下限値は、特に限定されないが、通常は20℃である。
<ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造方法>
以上説明した含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、かつ、含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋させることにより、含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られる。そのため、本発明の含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素発泡ゴムを有するウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造に適用できる。ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造方法では、含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱して発泡させ、前記含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率を20~70%とする。連続気泡率の詳細および好ましい態様は、<含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率、連続気泡率、独立気泡率>の項で説明した内容と同内容である。
含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋させることで、含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が相対的に低い場合のみならず、含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が80%以上と相対的に高い場合であっても、含フッ素発泡ゴムの発泡状態を均一で良好にすることができ、物性が良好な含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られる。
以上説明した含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、かつ、含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋させることにより、含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られる。そのため、本発明の含フッ素共重合体組成物は、含フッ素発泡ゴムを有するウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造に適用できる。ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造方法では、含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱して発泡させ、前記含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率を20~70%とする。連続気泡率の詳細および好ましい態様は、<含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率、連続気泡率、独立気泡率>の項で説明した内容と同内容である。
含フッ素共重合体組成物を発泡させ、含フッ素共重合体組成物に含まれる含フッ素共重合体を架橋させることで、含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が相対的に低い場合のみならず、含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が80%以上と相対的に高い場合であっても、含フッ素発泡ゴムの発泡状態を均一で良好にすることができ、物性が良好な含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られる。
(含フッ素発泡ゴムの製造)
含フッ素共重合体組成物を、発泡剤の分解温度以上の温度に加熱すると発泡反応が生じる。また、含フッ素共重合体組成物を、架橋剤の分解温度以上の温度に加熱すると架橋反応が生じる。
含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱に際しては、発泡剤の分解温度以上であり、かつ、架橋剤の分解温度以上の温度に含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱して、発泡反応と架橋反応を同時に行うことが好ましい。含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱は、加圧下で行ってもよく、常圧下で行ってもよい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物を、発泡剤の分解温度以上の温度に加熱すると発泡反応が生じる。また、含フッ素共重合体組成物を、架橋剤の分解温度以上の温度に加熱すると架橋反応が生じる。
含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱に際しては、発泡剤の分解温度以上であり、かつ、架橋剤の分解温度以上の温度に含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱して、発泡反応と架橋反応を同時に行うことが好ましい。含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱は、加圧下で行ってもよく、常圧下で行ってもよい。
含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱する際、発泡反応、架橋反応の反応速度を調整することで含フッ素発泡ゴムの独立気泡と連続気泡の割合を制御できる。架橋反応率が低い段階で発泡反応を開始させると、連続気泡が相対的に多い含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られやすい。また、架橋反応率が充分に高い段階で発泡反応を開始させると、独立気泡が相対的に多い含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られやすい。
独立気泡は、例えばロール等で含フッ素発泡ゴムに圧力をかけると潰れることがある。このように、独立気泡を潰して、含フッ素発泡ゴムの外部空間と繋がる連続気泡とすることもできる。

含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱温度は、100~300℃の範囲が好ましい。含フッ素共重合体組成物の加熱温度が前記数値範囲内であると、発泡反応と架橋反応がバランス良く進行し、発泡状態の均一性に優れた含フッ素発泡ゴムが得られる。
発泡反応が終了したときに所定の形状となるように、発泡と同時に成形を行い、含フッ素発泡ゴムを含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体としてもよい。架橋反応は、成形と同時に行ってもよいし、成形後に架橋反応させてもよい。成形方法は、特に限定されない。例えば、加圧成形、圧縮成形、押出し成形、射出成形等種々の成形方法が挙げられる。また、発泡および架橋させた後の含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体(たとえば、シート状成形体)をさらに所定の形状に切り出す等してさらに成形することも可能である。
加圧下で成形しながら含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱すると、表面平滑性に優れる含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体が得られる。加えて、引張り破断強度等の物性に優れ、かつ耐熱性、耐薬品性に優れる含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体が得られる。
含フッ素発泡ゴムを製造する際には、比較的低温での一次加熱と、比較的高温での二次加熱を組合せると、より良好な発泡状態が得られやすい。一次加熱の温度は、100~250℃が好ましい。二次加熱の温度は、一次加熱の温度よりも高温であり、150~300℃が好ましく、150~250℃がより好ましく、170~250℃が最も好ましい。二次加熱の温度は一次加熱の温度よりも10℃以上高温であることが好ましく、20℃以上高温であることがより好ましい。また、一次加熱の温度から二次加熱の温度まで段階的に昇温して行うこともできる。加熱時間は、適宜選定すればよい。
一次加熱と二次加熱の組合せの具体例としては、150~200℃の熱プレスで3~60分間一次加熱を行って、発泡、架橋および成形を行った後、得られた発泡フッ素ゴム成形体を熱プレス温度よりも高い温度であり、かつ、170~250℃のオーブン内で1~24時間二次加熱を行って架橋反応をさらに進行させる方法が好ましい。
二次加熱を行う際の一次加熱後の含フッ素共重合体組成物の気泡率は、10~80%が好ましく、15~75%がより好ましく、30~60%がより好ましい。一次加熱後の含フッ素共重合体組成物の気泡率は、上述の含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率と同様の測定方法により算出できる。
二次加熱を行う際の二次加熱後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率は、10~80%が好ましく、15~75%がより好ましく、30~60%がより好ましい。二次加熱後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率は、上述の含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率と同様の測定方法により算出できる。

ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の厚さが前記下限値以上であると、充分な引っ張り強度を有するウェアラブルデバイス用基材が得られる。ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の厚さが前記上限値以下であると、透湿性、生体への追従性がよくなる。
ここで、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材が含フッ素発泡ゴムのみからなる場合、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の厚みは、含フッ素発泡ゴムの厚みと一致する。
<ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の用途>
本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、ウェアラブルデバイスに適用できる。本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、特定の含フッ素発泡ゴムを有するため、断熱性、透湿性に優れる。加えて、含フッ素発泡ゴムは、皮脂等の汚れによって劣化しにくく、耐熱性、耐薬品性、耐油性に優れ、柔軟性を具備する。そのため、本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材を含むウェアラブルデバイスは、使用感がよく、装着時の快適性が高い。
本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、ウェアラブルデバイスに適用できる。本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、特定の含フッ素発泡ゴムを有するため、断熱性、透湿性に優れる。加えて、含フッ素発泡ゴムは、皮脂等の汚れによって劣化しにくく、耐熱性、耐薬品性、耐油性に優れ、柔軟性を具備する。そのため、本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材を含むウェアラブルデバイスは、使用感がよく、装着時の快適性が高い。
以下に実施例を挙げて、本発明を詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの例に限定されない。例1~3は実施例であり、例4~7は比較例である。

Dwは、1.0g/cm3として連続気泡率を算出した。

厚さ2mmのシート状の含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体を3号ダンベルで打ち抜いたものを試料とし、JIS K6251に準じて引っ張り強度を測定した。引っ張り強度が5kg/cm2以上であるとき「○」と評価し、引っ張り強度が5kg/cm2未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
厚さ2mmのシート状の含フッ素発泡ゴム成形体を3号ダンベルで打ち抜いたものを試料とし、JIS K6251に準じて引っ張り強度を測定した。引っ張り強度が5kg/cm2以上であるとき「○」と評価し、引っ張り強度が5kg/cm2未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
(耐薬品性)
・エタノール試験
30mm角に切った厚み2mmのゴムのシートを50℃で12時間、エタノール中に浸漬させた後、表面をふき取り、浸漬前後のシートの質量の変化率を測定した。変化率が3%未満であるとき「〇」と評価し、変化率が3%以上5%未満であるとき、「△」と評価し、変化率が5%以上であるとき「×」と評価した。
・エタノール試験
30mm角に切った厚み2mmのゴムのシートを50℃で12時間、エタノール中に浸漬させた後、表面をふき取り、浸漬前後のシートの質量の変化率を測定した。変化率が3%未満であるとき「〇」と評価し、変化率が3%以上5%未満であるとき、「△」と評価し、変化率が5%以上であるとき「×」と評価した。
・ハンドクリーム試験
30mm角に切ったゴムのシートの表面に尿素10質量%配合のハンドクリームを塗布し、40℃で24時間静置後、クリームを除去し、ゴムの外観を観察した。外観に変化が見られないとき「○」と評価し、外観に曇り等が生じたとき「×」と評価した。

厚み2mmのゴムのシートを用いて透湿度を測定した。具体的にはJIS Z0208に準拠し、40℃において、測定対象となる厚さ2mmの試料を境界面とし、境界面の一方の側の空気の相対湿度を90%に保ち、境界面の他方の側の空気を吸湿剤によって乾燥状態に保った。この状態で試料を24時間保持した後、24時間に試料を通過する水蒸気の質量(g)を求め、試料1m2当たりに換算した値を、透湿度(g/m2・24h)とした。
透湿性について、透湿度が100g/m2・24h以上であるとき「〇」と評価し、透湿度が50g/m2・24h以上、100g/m2・24h未満であるとき「△」と評価し、透湿度が50g/m2・24h未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
厚み2mmのゴムのシートを用いて透湿度を測定した。具体的にはJIS Z0208に準拠し、40℃において、測定対象となる厚さ2mmの試料を境界面とし、境界面の一方の側の空気の相対湿度を90%に保ち、境界面の他方の側の空気を吸湿剤によって乾燥状態に保った。この状態で試料を24時間保持した後、24時間に試料を通過する水蒸気の質量(g)を求め、試料1m2当たりに換算した値を、透湿度(g/m2・24h)とした。
透湿性について、透湿度が100g/m2・24h以上であるとき「〇」と評価し、透湿度が50g/m2・24h以上、100g/m2・24h未満であるとき「△」と評価し、透湿度が50g/m2・24h未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
(断熱性)
厚み5mmのゴムのシートを100℃に熱したホットプレート上に30分置いた後、シート下面(ホットプレート側)とシート上面(大気側)の温度を測定した。断熱性について、シート上面とシート下面の温度差が50℃以上であるとき「〇」と評価し、前記温度差が50℃未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
厚み5mmのゴムのシートを100℃に熱したホットプレート上に30分置いた後、シート下面(ホットプレート側)とシート上面(大気側)の温度を測定した。断熱性について、シート上面とシート下面の温度差が50℃以上であるとき「〇」と評価し、前記温度差が50℃未満であるとき「×」と評価した。
表1に示す各成分は以下の通りである。
・TFE/P共重合体:含フッ素共重合体(TFE単位/P単位のモル比=55/45)、ムーニー粘度60。TFE/P共重合体は、通常の乳化重合、例えば特許5061446号に記載された方法によって得られる。
・TFE/VdF/HFP共重合体:Solvay Solexis社製、製品名:Tecnoflon P959。ムーニー粘度65。
・補強剤:カーボンブラック、Ashland社製、製品名:MT-Carbon United N990。
・架橋助剤:トリアリルイソシアヌレート(TAIC)。
・架橋剤:1,3-ビス(tert-ブチルパーオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン40質量%と炭酸カルシウム60質量%の混合物、化薬アクゾ社製、製品名:パーカドックス14。
・発泡剤:アゾジカルボンアミドの50質量部、複合亜鉛華(米庄石灰社製、ZnOとCaCO3の組成物)の40質量部、尿酸の10質量部、ナフテン油(製品名:出光興産社製、NP-24)の5質量部からなる組成物(合計105質量部、イチイ有限会社製、製品名:VP#600)。
・加工助剤:ステアリン酸ナトリウム。
・受酸剤:酸化亜鉛、ZnO。
・TFE/P共重合体:含フッ素共重合体(TFE単位/P単位のモル比=55/45)、ムーニー粘度60。TFE/P共重合体は、通常の乳化重合、例えば特許5061446号に記載された方法によって得られる。
・TFE/VdF/HFP共重合体:Solvay Solexis社製、製品名:Tecnoflon P959。ムーニー粘度65。
・補強剤:カーボンブラック、Ashland社製、製品名:MT-Carbon United N990。
・架橋助剤:トリアリルイソシアヌレート(TAIC)。
・架橋剤:1,3-ビス(tert-ブチルパーオキシイソプロピル)ベンゼン40質量%と炭酸カルシウム60質量%の混合物、化薬アクゾ社製、製品名:パーカドックス14。
・発泡剤:アゾジカルボンアミドの50質量部、複合亜鉛華(米庄石灰社製、ZnOとCaCO3の組成物)の40質量部、尿酸の10質量部、ナフテン油(製品名:出光興産社製、NP-24)の5質量部からなる組成物(合計105質量部、イチイ有限会社製、製品名:VP#600)。
・加工助剤:ステアリン酸ナトリウム。
・受酸剤:酸化亜鉛、ZnO。
表1に示す略号は以下の通りである。
・体積V1:連続気泡を水で置換する前の含フッ素発泡ゴムの体積。
・質量W1:連続気泡を水で置換する前の含フッ素発泡ゴムの質量。
・密度D1:含フッ素発泡ゴムの製造に用いる発泡および架橋前の含フッ素共重合体組成物から発泡剤を除いた組成物から製造したフッ素ゴムの密度。
・質量W2:連続気泡を水で置換した後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの質量。
・密度D2:連続気泡を水で置換した後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの密度。
・Ft:気泡率。
・Fo:連続気泡率。
・Fc:独立気泡率。
・体積V1:連続気泡を水で置換する前の含フッ素発泡ゴムの体積。
・質量W1:連続気泡を水で置換する前の含フッ素発泡ゴムの質量。
・密度D1:含フッ素発泡ゴムの製造に用いる発泡および架橋前の含フッ素共重合体組成物から発泡剤を除いた組成物から製造したフッ素ゴムの密度。
・質量W2:連続気泡を水で置換した後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの質量。
・密度D2:連続気泡を水で置換した後の含フッ素発泡ゴムの密度。
・Ft:気泡率。
・Fo:連続気泡率。
・Fc:独立気泡率。
<例1>
表1に示す成分を、全成分を2本ロールで混練し、含フッ素共重合体組成物を得る。含フッ素共重合体組成物を170℃で20分間熱プレスして含フッ素共重合体を一次架橋させ、さらに200℃で4時間二次架橋させ、厚さ2mmの含フッ素発泡ゴムを得ることができる。
例1の含フッ素発泡ゴムの物性の測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。
表1に示す成分を、全成分を2本ロールで混練し、含フッ素共重合体組成物を得る。含フッ素共重合体組成物を170℃で20分間熱プレスして含フッ素共重合体を一次架橋させ、さらに200℃で4時間二次架橋させ、厚さ2mmの含フッ素発泡ゴムを得ることができる。
例1の含フッ素発泡ゴムの物性の測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。
<例2~5>
例1と同様の方法で含フッ素発泡ゴムを得ることができる。測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。

<例6>
例6においては、含フッ素共重合体として、AFLAS 100S(AGC社製)を用いることができる。例6の含フッ素共重合体組成物は発泡剤を含まないため、例6の含フッ素共重合体組成物から製造されるフッ素ゴムは発泡していない。測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。

例7においては、含フッ素発泡ゴムの代わりに、シリコーンゴムシート(2-9320)(アズワン社から入手)を用いる。なお、シリコーンゴムシートは、発泡していない。測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。

<例8>
例8においては、含フッ素発泡ゴムの代わりに、低反発ウレタンシート(KTHU-3015)(アズワン社から入手)を用いる。なお、低反発ウレタンシートは、発泡ウレタンである。例8で使用した発泡ウレタンは、市販品であるため、D1に相当する値(発泡させなかった場合のウレタンの密度)が不明であった。そのため、気泡率Ftおよび独立気泡率Fcは計算できなかった。測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。
例8においては、含フッ素発泡ゴムの代わりに、低反発ウレタンシート(KTHU-3015)(アズワン社から入手)を用いる。なお、低反発ウレタンシートは、発泡ウレタンである。例8で使用した発泡ウレタンは、市販品であるため、D1に相当する値(発泡させなかった場合のウレタンの密度)が不明であった。そのため、気泡率Ftおよび独立気泡率Fcは計算できなかった。測定および評価の結果を表1に示す。
本発明のウェアラブルデバイス用基材は、断熱性および透湿性に優れる。
また、本願は2019年2月19日に出願した日本国特許出願2019-027789号に基づく優先権を主張するものであり、同日本国出願の全内容を本願に参照により援用する。
Claims (8)
- 含フッ素発泡ゴムを有し、
前記含フッ素発泡ゴムが、含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含み、
前記含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率が、20~70%である、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材。 - 前記含フッ素発泡ゴムの気泡率が、20~90%である、請求項1に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。
- 前記含フッ素共重合体が、含フッ素単量体に基づく単位を含有し、
前記含フッ素単量体がテトラフルオロエチレン、フッ化ビニリデン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、下式1で表される化合物、および、クロロトリフルオロエチレンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上である、請求項1または2に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。

式1において、Rfは、炭素原子数が1~9のパーフルオロアルキル基、または炭素原子数2~9のパーフルオロ(オキサアルキル)基である。 - 前記含フッ素発泡ゴムが、添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。
- 厚さが、0.3~10mmである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材を含む、ウェアラブルデバイス。
- 請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造に用いられる組成物であり、
含フッ素共重合体と発泡剤と架橋剤とを含み、任意で架橋助剤をさらに含み、
前記発泡剤の含有量が、前記含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対し0.1~20質量部であり、
前記架橋剤の含有量が、前記含フッ素共重合体100質量部に対し0.05~10質量部であり、
前記架橋助剤の含有量が、0~0.4質量部である、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物。 - 請求項7に記載のウェアラブルデバイス用基材製造用の含フッ素共重合体組成物を加熱して発泡させ、前記含フッ素共重合体の架橋物を含む含フッ素発泡ゴムの連続気泡率を20~70%とする、ウェアラブルデバイス用基材の製造方法。
