Abstract
生体蓄積性が低いとされる炭素数6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基から構成される含フッ素化合物を用いて、剥離性及び耐久性に優れた離型剤を提供する。 下記一般式(1) Rf1-CH=CH-Rf2-(CH2)n-X (1) {式(1)中、 Rf1は、炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキル基であり、 Rf2は、炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキレン基であり、 nは1~4の整数であり、 Xは、下記一般式(2)で示される -P(=O)(OM1)(OM2) (2) (式(2)中、M1及びM2は、それぞれ独立して、水素原子、金属原子、アンモニウム、有機アンモニウム、または炭素数1~4のアルキル基である)} で示される含フッ素化合物及びこれを含有する離型剤を用いる。
Description
本発明は、不飽和結合を有する新規含フッ素化合物及びこれを用いた離型剤に関する。
含フッ素化合物は、炭素-フッ素結合の性質に基づく特徴的な機能を有しており、例えば耐熱性、耐薬品性、撥水撥油性、低摩擦性、剥離性などの性質を利用した機能性材料として用いられている。
特に、金型で高分子材料を成形する際に用いられる離型剤においては、高い剥離性や1回の塗布で繰り返し剥離が可能な耐久性等が要求されており、これらを満たす材料として含フッ素化合物を有効成分とする高機能性離型剤が用いられている。
これまで、含フッ素化合物を含む高機能性離型剤には、炭素数が8以上のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する化合物が用いられてきた(例えば、特許文献1参照)。しかし、炭素数が8以上のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する化合物は、環境や生体への蓄積性等が課題となっている。
そのため、生体蓄積性が低いとされる炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する含フッ素化合物で代替する検討が行われているが、パーフルオロアルキル基の炭素数が小さくなるほど、離型性能が炭素数8以上のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する化合物に比べて劣ることが知られている。
炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する含フッ素化合物の離型性能を向上させる方法として、分子内に炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキルユニットを複数含む化合物を使用する方法が知られている(例えば、特許文献2参照)。しかし、分子内に不飽和結合を有する化合物の記載はない。
また、分子内に不飽和結合を有する化合物として、種々の化合物が例示されてはいる(例えば、特許文献3参照)が、炭素鎖とリン原子が直接結合した、ホスホン酸化合物に関する検討は十分にはなされおらず、離型剤としてさらなる改善が求められていた。
その他、長鎖パーフルオロアルキル基に替えて、パーフルオロポリエーテル構造を有する材料を使用したものも知られている。
本発明の目的は、生体蓄積性が低いとされる炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基から構成される新規含フッ素化合物及びこれを含有する剥離性及び耐久性に優れた離型剤を提供することにある。
本発明者らは、以下に示す炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基から構成され、分子内に不飽和結合を有する含フッ素化合物を用いた離型剤が、優れた剥離性及び耐久性を示すことを見出し、本発明を完成させるに至った。
すなわち本発明は、下記一般式(1)示される不飽和結合を有する含フッ素化合物並びにこれを用いた組成物及び離型剤に係る発明である。

以下、本発明を詳細に説明する。
上記の一般式(1)において、Rf1基は直鎖又は分岐の炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキル基が好ましく、さらに直鎖のパーフルオロアルキル基が好ましい。Rf1基の構造として分岐構造を有していてもよいが、直鎖のパーフルオロアルキル基は集合体を形成しやすく、金属表面に単分子層を形成しやすいからである。
また、Rf2基は直鎖又は分岐の炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキレン基が好ましく、さらに直鎖のパーフルオロアルキレン基が好ましい。Rf2基の構造として分岐構造を有していてもよいが、直鎖のパーフルオロアルキレン基は集合体を形成しやすく、金属表面に単分子層を形成しやすいからである。
上記の一般式(1)における、Rf1-CH=CH-Rf2-の部分の具体的構造としては、C2F5-CH=CH-C4F8-、C2F5-CH=CH-C6F12-、C4F9-CH=CH-C4F8-、C4F9-CH=CH-C6F12、C6F13-CH=CH-C4F8-、C6F13-CH=CH-C6F12-などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
これらの構造を有する含フッ素化合物は、下記一般式(3)で示される、末端がヨウ素化されたフルオロアルキル化合物を出発原料として製造できる。末端がヨウ素化されたフルオロアルキル化合物(3)は公知の化合物であり、特許文献3に記載されている。

本発明の一般式(1)に示される含フッ素化合物は、一般式(2)中のM1及びM2が炭素数1~4のアルキル基である場合には、次に例示する方法で得ることができる。
すなわち、末端がヨウ素化されたフルオロアルキル化合物(3)をエチレンに付加させて得られる下記式(4)で示されるフルオロアルキルエチレンアイオダイドとトリアルキルホスファイトP(OR)3を反応させる。

本発明の一般式(1)に示される含フッ素化合物は、一般式(2)中のM1及びM2のいずれか1つ以上が水素原子である場合には、M1及びM2が炭素数1~4のアルキル基である化合物の加水分解により得ることができる。
本発明の一般式(1)に示される含フッ素化合物は、一般式(2)中のM1及びM2のいずれか1つ以上が金属原子、アンモニウムまたは有機アンモニウムである場合には、M1及びM2のいずれか1つ以上が水素原子である化合物を無機塩基、アンモニアまたは有機アミンで中和することにより得ることができる。
本発明の一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物の製造に適用可能な溶剤としては、ヘキサン、ヘプタン、トルエン、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルム等の(ハロゲン化)炭化水素系溶剤、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトンなどのケトン類、テトラヒドロフラン、ジエチルエーテル、ジイソプロピルエーテルなどのエーテル類、酢酸メチル、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチルなどのエステル類、ジエチルエーテル、テトラヒドロフラン等のエーテル系溶剤、アセトニトリル、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N-メチル-2-ピロリドン、ジメチルスルホキシド等の極性非プロトン性溶剤、水など、反応に不活性な溶剤であればあらゆるものが使用可能である。
溶媒は、反応に供する化合物に応じて適切に選択の上で使用でき、また反応に供する化合物が液体であれば溶媒を用いなくともよい。
本発明の一般式(1)で表される含フッ素化合物の精製方法としては、公知の方応で実施可能で、例えば、中和、溶媒抽出、乾燥、ろ過、濃縮、蒸留や再結晶、カラムクロマトグラフィー等により精製し、目的物の一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物を得ることができる。
本発明の一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物は、有機溶媒、水、または、2種以上の有機溶媒や水と有機溶媒などの混合溶媒に溶解し、含フッ素化合物と溶媒とを含む組成物からなる離型剤として用いることができる。ここで離型剤中の含フッ素化合物は液体ではなく固体となることがあり、溶媒に溶解して溶液状の組成物として金型等へ塗布できる形態とすることができる。
含フッ素化合物と溶媒とを含む組成物からなる離型剤において、固形分としての含フッ素化合物濃度、すなわち固形分濃度としては0.01~10重量%が好ましく、0.05~5重量%がより好ましい。
有機溶媒としてはメタノール、エタノール、イソプロピルアルコールなどのアルコール類、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトンなどのケトン類、テトラヒドロフラン、ジエチルエーテル、ジイソプロピルエーテルなどのエーテル類、酢酸メチル、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチルなどのエステル類、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルムなどのハロゲン化炭化水素、アセトニトリル、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N-メチル-2-ピロリドン、ジメチルスルホキシド等の極性非プロトン性溶媒、パーフルオロヘキサン、ヘキサフルオロベンゼンなどのフローラス溶媒あるいはフッ素系溶媒など、一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物と反応しない溶媒であればよい。
従って、本発明の一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物と上記の溶媒を含む組成物は、例えば含フッ素化合物が固体の場合に、溶液状として金型等への塗布を容易にするなど有益である。本発明の組成物中、溶媒としては有機溶媒、水または混合溶媒を用いることができ、さらに有機溶媒としては上記の通り、アルコール類、ケトン類、エーテル類、エステル類、極性非プロトン性溶媒またはフッ素系溶媒であり、含フッ素化合物を含む組成物として有用である。
離型剤の金型への塗布は、刷毛塗り、ワイプやウエス等による塗布、浸漬、霧吹き等による噴射、スプレーガンによる噴射、エアゾール噴射等、通常用いられる任意の方法により行うことができる。
本離型剤が塗布された金型で成形される成形品としては、例えばポリウレタン、エポキシ樹脂、フェノール樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ポリイミド、ABS樹脂、アクリル樹脂、フッ素樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル等の樹脂類や、クロロプレンゴム、フッ素ゴム等のゴム類等、特に限定されない。
本発明の一般式(1)で示される含フッ素化合物を用いることにより、生体蓄積性が低いとされる炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基を有する化合物を有効成分として、極めて高い剥離性及び耐久性を与える離型剤を提供できる。
以下に本発明の実施例を示すが、本発明はこれらの例によって限定されるものではない。

150mlのSUS製オートクレーブに1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,12,13,13,14,14,14-ペンタコサフルオロ-1-ヨード-7-テトラデセン100.00g(0.130mol)及びジターシャリブチルペルオキシド0.13g(0.003mol)を仕込み、密閉後内部を窒素置換した。その後115℃に昇温し、エチレン2.00g(0.142mol)を0.5~1.0MPaの圧力を保ちながら添加した。さらに115℃で1時間反応した後、冷却して化合物(1)103.50gを得た。収率は99.9%であった。

100mLの3つ口フラスコに化合物(1)10.00g(12.50mmol)及び亜リン酸トリエチル31.15g(187.5mmol)を仕込み、150℃で20時間反応した。反応液をジイソプロピルエーテル50gで希釈し、水30gで3回洗浄した。有機層を減圧濃縮した後、ヘプタンで再結晶して化合物(2)7.61gを取得した。収率は75.1%であった。

100mlの3つ口フラスコ中に、1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,12,13,13,14,14,14-ペンタコサフルオロ-1-ヨード-7-テトラデセン3.50g(4.53mmol)、アセトニトリル35g、アリルホスホン酸ジエチル0.85g(4.8mmol)、炭酸水素ナトリウム0.95g(11mmol)、水33.60gを仕込み、0℃で撹拌下亜ジチオン酸ナトリウム1.97g(11mmol)を投入した。室温で3時間反応後、ジイソプロピルエーテル25gを加えて水層を除去した後、有機層を飽和食塩水50gで洗浄した。有機層を減圧濃縮後、シリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(展開溶媒:酢酸エチル/ヘキサン=3:2)で精製し、化合物(6)1.68gを白色固体として取得した。収率は45.0%であった。

100mlの3つ口フラスコ中に、1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,9,9,10,10,11,11,12,12,12-ヘンイコサフルオロ-1-ヨード-7-ドデセン3.50g(5.21mmol)、アセトニトリル35g、アリルホスホン酸ジエチル0.97g(5.4mmol)、炭酸水素ナトリウム1.09g(13.0mmol)、水33.60gを仕込み、0℃で撹拌下亜ジチオン酸ナトリウム2.27g(13.0mmol)を投入した。室温で3時間反応後、ジイソプロピルエーテル25gを加えて水層を除去した後、有機層を飽和食塩水50gで洗浄した。有機層を減圧濃縮後、シリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(展開溶媒:酢酸エチル/ヘキサン=3:2)で精製し、化合物(6)1.60gを白色固体として取得した。収率は42.4%であった。

実施例4
離型剤溶液の調製
実施例1で得られた化合物(3)1.0重量%及びイソプロパノール(IPA)99.0重量%よりなる離型剤溶液を調製した。この離型剤溶液を用いて、次のような測定方法で離型性の評価を行った。

実施例1で得られた化合物(3)1.0重量%及びイソプロパノール(IPA)99.0重量%よりなる離型剤溶液を調製した。この離型剤溶液を用いて、次のような測定方法で離型性の評価を行った。
離型性評価
アルミニウムテストピース(縦50mm×横50mm×厚さ2mm)の表面に、0.1gの離型剤溶液をワイプで塗布した後、室温下で乾燥させた。次いで、テストピースを40℃に保持した金型の内壁面に沿って配置して30分保持した後、以下に示す組成を有するポリウレタン発泡組成物を金型内に注入し、40℃で10分間保持して発泡させ硬化させた。得られた成形体を脱型し、成形体からテストピースを剥離した時の荷重をプッシュプルスケールで測定した。剥離に要した荷重が5N未満である場合の離型性を○、5N以上30N未満を△、30N以上を×とした。また、同じ条件下で、30N未満の荷重で何回まで離型が可能であったかを測定し、反復離型回数とした。

実施例4において、離型剤化合物を炭素数が6のパーフルオロアルキル基からなる1H,1H,2H,2H-パーフルオロオクタンホスホン酸(シグマアルドリッチ製、以下C6)に替え、添加剤量及び溶媒量を種々変更した離型剤溶液を用いて、同様の測定を行った。
実施例4において、離型剤化合物を炭素数が6のパーフルオロアルキル基からなる1H,1H,2H,2H-パーフルオロオクタンホスホン酸(シグマアルドリッチ製、以下C6)に替え、添加剤量及び溶媒量を種々変更した離型剤溶液を用いて、同様の測定を行った。

実施例4において、離型剤を塗布せずに同様の測定を行った。
得られた結果を離型剤溶液の成分組成とともに、表1に示した。

本発明の含フッ素化合物は、環境や生体への蓄積性が低いとされる炭素数が6以下のパーフルオロアルキル基から構成され、優れた剥離性及び耐久性を示す離型剤として利用可能である。

- 下記一般式(1)

Rf1は、炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキル基であり、
Rf2は、炭素数1~6のパーフルオロアルキレン基であり、
nは1~4の整数であり、
Xは、下記一般式(2)で示される
-P(=O)(OM1)(OM2) (2)
(式(2)中、M1及びM2は、それぞれ独立して、水素原子、金属原子、アンモニウム、有機アンモニウム、または炭素数1~4のアルキル基である)}
で示される含フッ素化合物。 - 請求項1に記載の含フッ素化合物と、溶媒を含むことを特徴とする組成物。
- 前記溶媒が有機溶媒、水または混合溶媒である請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記溶媒がアルコール類、ケトン類、エーテル類、エステル類、極性非プロトン性溶媒またはフッ素系溶媒である、請求項2または3に記載の組成物。
- 請求項2から4のいずれかに記載の組成物からなる離型剤。
