Definitions
- the present invention relates to a biologically active substance obtained from at least one macroscopic edible fungus, its manufacturing process and its use as a protective agent for biological tissue.
- biological tissue an envelope of an organism, which constitutes a direct interface between said organism and the external environment and must therefore be protected from any attack by any exogenous agent.
- plant tissues such as the aerial parts of plants, the vine, wheat, fruit, tomatoes, potatoes, etc., as well as human or animal skin.
- Plant tissues are susceptible to attack by pathogenic agents, such as viruses, bacteria, fungi or insects and can then respond to these attacks by development, in particular under the action of so-called eliciting / repairing compounds.
- pathogenic agents such as viruses, bacteria, fungi or insects
- eliciting / repairing compounds such as insects, fungi or insects
- physiological or metabolic natural defense responses which consist of:
- Human or animal skin is the direct interface between man and his environment. It must therefore protect it against external aggressions but it also suffers damage linked to this environment. This damage can be significant such as sores or burns, but also slower and "minor” such as wrinkles.
- the mechanism of appearance of wrinkles involves both intrinsic and extrinsic factors.
- intrinsic factors inducing the formation of wrinkles, there are several mechanisms: decrease in hydration; decrease in collagen III production and predominance of more rigid type I collagen; 50% decrease in cell renewal; rarefaction of keratinocytes due to the decrease in the capacity for migration to the surface of the epidermis.
- the body has its own defense system to neutralize free radical damage, but with age, the effectiveness of this system declines and our need for antioxidants increases.
- the skin repair process must involve several factors, such as the proliferation of dermis and epidermis cells; synthesis and / or reshaping of the extracellular matrix; protection against free radicals.
- the present inventors sought a biologically active substance advantageously of natural origin and easy to manufacture which can effectively protect any biological tissue, playing in particular the role of elicitors / repairers in the case of plant tissue, and the role of protective cosmetic ingredient. in the case of the skin.

- the biological tissue can be a plant tissue
- the exogenous agent or agents can be pathogenic fungi, bacteria, viruses, insects and / or a physical aggressor such as rain, frost, temperature and environmental stresses
- the protective agent may be an elicitor / repair agent for said plant tissue, in particular agronomically useful or ornamental plants, in particular for a preventive treatment against cryptogamic diseases and bacterial diseases, in particular those chosen from the group formed by diseases of conservation of fruit, diseases of the vine, fruit trees, vegetable crops and cereals.
