Abstract

止水性の低下を抑えつつ、屋根の施工に要する時間を短くすることができる屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造並びにそれらに用いる屋根ユニット及び側部カバー材を提供する。本発明による屋根の施工方法は、下地材7と、下地材7の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材8とをそれぞれ有する複数の屋根ユニット2を互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置する工程と、屋根ユニット2間の突合せ部分を第1防水シート71により覆う工程とを含む。

Description

屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造並びにそれらに用いる屋根ユニット、側部カバー材及び緊結部材カバー
 本発明は、建物の上部に複数の平板屋根材を並べて配置する屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造に関する。
 従来用いられていたこの種の屋根の施工方法としては、例えば下記の特許文献1等に示されている屋根の施工方法を挙げることができる。すなわち、従来方法では、建物の上部に複数の平板屋根材を一枚ずつ並べて配置している。

 上記のような従来方法では、複数の平板屋根材を一枚ずつ屋根下地の上に配置しているので、屋根の施工に要する時間が長くなる。屋根の施工に要する時間を短くするために、複数の平板屋根材を下地材に緊結した屋根ユニットを予め準備し、その屋根ユニットを小屋組みの上に配置することも考えられる。しかしながら、屋根ユニットの突合せ部分には隙間が形成されて、止水性が低下してしまう。
 本発明は、上記のような課題を解決するためになされたものであり、その目的は、止水性の低下を抑えつつ、屋根の施工に要する時間を短くすることができる屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造並びにそれらに用いる屋根ユニット、側部カバー材及び緊結部材カバーを提供することである。
 本発明に係る屋根の施工方法は、下地材と、下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有する複数の屋根ユニットを互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置する工程と、屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を防水シートにより覆う工程とを含む。
 本発明に係る屋根構造は、下地材と、下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有し、互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置された複数の屋根ユニットと、屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を覆う防水シートとを備える。
 本発明に係る屋根ユニットは、他の屋根ユニットに隣接するように建物の上部に配置される屋根ユニットであって、下地材と、下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とを有する屋根ユニット本体と、屋根ユニット本体から延出されており、他の屋根ユニットとの突合せ部分を覆うための防水シートとを備える。
 本発明に係る側部カバー材は、建物の軒方向に隣接するように建物の上部に配置された一対の屋根ユニットの側部露出領域を覆うための側部カバー材であって、屋根ユニットは、下地材と、下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有し、複数の平板屋根材は、建物の軒棟方向に関して軒側の平板屋根材に棟側の平板屋根材の一部が重ねられるように配置されており、側部露出領域は、屋根ユニットが建物の上部に配置された際に建物の軒方向に係る屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の側部に位置し、下地材が露出された領域であり、平板状の側部カバー材本体と、側部カバー材本体の一端に設けられた係合部とを備え、建物の軒方向に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材に側部カバー材本体が重ねられるとともに、一対の平板屋根材よりも棟側に位置する平板屋根材の下に側部カバー材本体の他端が挿入され、一対の平板屋根材の軒側端部に係合部が係合されるように配置される。
 本発明に係る緊結部材カバーは、第1部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材を覆い隠すための緊結部材カバーであって、第1部材の一端は第2部材の下に挿入されており、緊結部材に重ねられる基板部と、基板部の一端から基板部の表側に折り返されており、第2部材の下に挿入されるとともに第2部材と係合するように適合された上部折返部と、基板部の他端から基板部の裏側に折り返されており、第1部材の下に挿入されるとともに第1部材と係合するように適合された下部折返部とを備えている。
 本発明の屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造では、屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を防水シートが覆うので、止水性の低下を抑えつつ、屋根の施工に要する時間を短くすることができる。
 本発明の屋根ユニットでは、屋根ユニット本体から防水シートが延出されているので、屋根の施工に要する時間をより確実に短くすることができる。
 本発明の側部カバー材では、建物の軒方向に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材に側部カバー材本体が重ねられるとともに、一対の平板屋根材よりも棟側に位置する平板屋根材の下に側部カバー材本体の他端が挿入され、一対の平板屋根材の軒側端部に係合部が係合されるように配置されるので、側部カバー材が目立つことを回避しつつ、屋根ユニットの側部露出領域をより確実に覆うことができる。
 本発明の緊結部材カバーでは、第1部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材に基板部が重ねられ、基板部の一端から基板部の表側に折り返された上部折返部が第2部材の下に挿入されるとともに第2部材と係合し、基板部の他端から基板部の裏側に折り返された下部折返部が第1部材の下に挿入されるとともに第1部材と係合するので、緊結部材の腐食を抑えることができるとともに、より長期的に緊結部材カバーの外れを防止することができる。

 以下、本発明を実施するための形態について、図面を参照して説明する。本発明は各実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、その要旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成要素を変形して具体化できる。また、各実施形態に開示されている複数の構成要素の適宜な組み合わせにより、種々の発明を形成できる。例えば、実施の形態に示される全構成要素からいくつかの構成要素を削除してもよい。さらに、異なる実施形態の構成要素を適宜組み合わせてもよい。
 実施の形態1.
<屋根構造について>
 図1は本発明の実施の形態1による屋根構造1を示す斜視図であり、図2は図1の屋根構造を示す平面図である。図1及び図2に示す屋根構造1は、例えば家屋等の建物の上部において屋根を構成する構造体である。本実施の形態の屋根構造1は、複数の屋根ユニット2、複数の端部カバー材3及び複数の側部カバー材4を含んでいる。
 各屋根ユニット2は、互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置されている。本実施の形態の屋根構造1では、図2の一点鎖線で区切られる12区域に屋根ユニット2が1つずつ配置されている。すなわち、建物の軒方向5に関して3つの屋根ユニット2が互いに隣接して配置されている。また、それら3つの屋根ユニット2を1つの屋根ユニット列として、建物の軒棟方向6に関して4つの屋根ユニット列が互いに隣接して配置されている。12個の屋根ユニット2により1つの屋根面が構成されている。屋根構造1に含まれる屋根ユニット2及び屋根ユニット列の数は任意である。
 図2の右下側に位置する区域I~IVに配置された屋根ユニット2をそれぞれ第1屋根ユニット21、第2屋根ユニット22、第3屋根ユニット23及び第4屋根ユニット24と呼ぶ。後に図を用いて第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24の構成を具体的に説明する。
 各端部カバー材3は、建物の軒棟方向6に関する屋根ユニット2の端部を覆う部材である。すなわち、各端部カバー材3は、建物の軒棟方向6に関して互いに隣接する一対の屋根ユニット2の端部に重ねられている。
 各側部カバー材4は、建物の軒方向5に関する屋根ユニット2の側部を覆う部材である。すなわち、各側部カバー材4は、建物の軒方向5に関して互いに隣接する一対の屋根ユニット2の側部に重ねられている。
<第1屋根ユニットについて>
 次に、図3は図2の第1屋根ユニット21を示す斜視図であり、図4は図3の第1屋根ユニット21を示す平面図である。図3及び図4に示す第1屋根ユニット21は、建物の最も軒側かつ最もケラバ側に配置される屋根ユニット2である。第1屋根ユニット21は、奥行方向21dに比べて幅方向21wに長い横長の矩形の外形を有しており、建物の軒方向5に幅方向21wが沿うとともに建物の軒棟方向6に奥行方向21dが沿うように建物の上部に配置されるように適合されている。
 本実施の形態の第1屋根ユニット21は、下地材7と、下地材7の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材8とを有している。
 下地材7は、第1屋根ユニット21の下部を構成する部材であり、複数の平板屋根材8を支持している。本実施の形態の第1屋根ユニット21の下地材7には、野地板70、第1防水シート71、のぼり木72、第2防水シート73、ケラバ水切74、軒先水切75、保護材76、軒板77及び複数の垂木部材78(支持材)が含まれている。
 野地板70は、矩形の板状部材であり、例えば合板等により構成されることができる。第1防水シート71は、野地板70の上面全体を覆うシート部材であり、例えばアスファルトルーフィング等により構成されることができる。なお、図3の手前側部分は、下地材7の構成を示すために第1防水シート71等の構成を一部分切り欠いた状態で描いている。
 のぼり木72は、幅方向21wに関する野地板70の妻側の上面に配置された角材である。妻側とは、屋根の軒方向にかかる屋根の端部側を意味する。のぼり木72は、屋根の軒端と棟端との間で軒棟方向に延在される。のぼり木72の下面と野地板70の上面との間には、第1防水シート71が介在されている。
 第2防水シート73は、のぼり木72の両側の側面及び上面を覆うシート部材であり、第1防水シート71と同様に例えばアスファルトルーフィング等により構成されることができる。第2防水シート73は、第1防水シート71に重ねられるように、のぼり木72から幅方向21wに関する野地板70の他端に向けて延在されている。
 ケラバ水切74は、幅方向21wに関する野地板70の一端においてのぼり木72及び第2防水シート73に重ねられた部材である。ケラバ水切74は、例えば金属板の成形材等により構成されることができる。ケラバ水切74は、野地板70の裏面よりも下方に延出された舌片74aを有している。この舌片74aにより、例えば雨水等のケラバ水切74に付着した水分が野地板70に伝わることなく落下される。舌片74aとのぼり木72との間に破風板が設けられてもよい。
 ケラバ水切74は、奥行方向21dに関する野地板70の一端において第1及び第2防水シート71,73に重ねられた部材である。ケラバ水切74は、例えば金属板の成形材等により構成されることができる。軒先水切75は、ケラバ水切74と同様に野地板70の裏面よりも下方に延出された舌片75aを有している。この舌片75aにより、例えば雨水等の軒先水切75に付着した水分が野地板70に伝わることなく落下される。
 保護材76は、幅方向21w及び奥行方向21dに関する野地板70の他端において野地板70の側部及び端部に重ねられた部材である。保護材76は、ケラバ水切74及び軒先水切75が設けられている位置とは逆の位置において、野地板70の側部及び端部を保護している。保護材76は、例えばL字状又はコ字状の金属板の成形材等により構成されることができる。
 軒板77は、平板屋根材8と同程度の厚みを有する板状部材であり、奥行方向21dに関する野地板70の一端において第1及び第2防水シート71,73並びに軒先水切75に重ねられている。最も軒側に配置される平板屋根材8の軒側端部が軒板77に重ねられることで、その平板屋根材8が他の平板屋根材8と同程度の傾斜角度で延在される。
 複数の垂木部材78は、奥行方向21dに延在する長手状の部材であり、幅方向21wに互いに間隔をおいて野地板70の下部に配置されている。垂木部材78は、のぼり木72と同様に屋根の軒端と棟端との間で軒棟方向に延在される。垂木部材78は、野地板70の下部に固定されている。
 平板屋根材8は、奥行方向21dに比べて幅方向21wに長い横長の矩形の外形を有する平板状の屋根材である。各平板屋根材8は、建物の軒棟方向6(第1屋根ユニット21の奥行方向21d)に関して軒側の平板屋根材8に棟側の平板屋根材8の一部が重ねられるように配置されている。棟側の平板屋根材8の軒側端部から軒側の平板屋根材8が突出されている幅は、働き幅と呼ばれる。
 軒側の平板屋根材8を軒側屋根材8Eと呼び、棟側の平板屋根材8を棟側屋根材8Rと呼ぶことがある。これら軒側屋根材8E及び棟側屋根材8Rとの用語は、建物の軒棟方向6に係る2つの平板屋根材8を区別するための用語であり、屋根全体の中での特定の位置を規定するものではない。軒側屋根材8Eの軒側に別の平板屋根材8が配置されていてよく、棟側屋根材8Rの棟側に別の平板屋根材8が配置されていてよい。
 本実施の形態の第1屋根ユニット21には、端部露出領域210及び側部露出領域211が設けられている。端部露出領域210は、第1屋根ユニット21が建物の上部に配置された際に建物の軒棟方向6に係る第1屋根ユニット21の一方の端部(棟側)に位置する領域であって、平板屋根材8によって覆われずに下地材7が露出されている領域である。側部露出領域211は、第1屋根ユニット21が建物の上部に配置された際に建物の軒方向5に係る第1屋根ユニット21の一方の側部(反ケラバ側)に位置する領域であって、平板屋根材8によって覆われずに下地材7が露出されている領域である。これら端部露出領域210及び側部露出領域211は、後に詳しく説明するように屋根ユニット2間の突合せ部分を防水シートにより覆う際に利用される。
<ケラバ水切について>
 図5は、図3のケラバ水切74を示す正面図である。ケラバ水切74は、のぼり木72を覆うための部材である。本実施の形態のケラバ水切74は、野地板70の妻側端部も覆っている。ケラバ水切74は、のぼり木72及び垂木部材78と同様に、屋根の軒端と棟端との間で軒棟方向に延在されている。のぼり木72は、例えばビス又は釘等により構成される緊結部材72dにより野地板70に固定されている。本実施の形態の緊結部材72dは、上方からのぼり木72に打ち込まれており、野地板70を貫通して垂木部材78まで到達している。換言すると、本実施の形態の緊結部材72dは、のぼり木72を野地板70及び垂木部材78に固定している。垂木部材78の側部には、破風板79が配置されている。
 本実施の形態のケラバ水切74は、2つの部材に分割可能とされている。すなわち、本実施の形態のケラバ水切74には、水切部材741及びケラバ部材742が設けられている。
 水切部材741は、野地板70に重ねられるとともにのぼり木72の反妻側の側面72aを覆うための部材である。水切部材741は、平板状の載置片7411と、載置片7411の妻側端部から起立された起立片7412と、起立片7412の上端部から反妻側に延出された上片7413と、上片7413の反妻側端部から下垂された下垂片7414と、下垂片7414の下端から上方に折り返された折返片7415とを有している。水切部材741は、野地板70上に載置片7411が載置されるとともに、のぼり木72の反妻側の側面72aに起立片7412が沿うように配置される。本実施の形態の水切部材741の起立片7412、上片7413及び下垂片7414は、のぼり木72の上方にかからずにのぼり木72の側部から反妻側に折り返された部分として捉えることもできる。
 ケラバ部材742は、のぼり木72の妻側の側面72b及び上面72cを覆うための部材である。ケラバ部材742は、平板状の天板7421と、天板7421の反妻側端部から下垂された被覆片7422と、被覆片7422の下端から妻側に延出された下片7423と、下片7423の妻側端部から起立された起立片7424と、起立片7424の上端から妻側に折り返された第1折返片7425と、天板7421の妻側端部から下垂された側片7426と、側片7426の下端から上方に折り返された第2折返片7427とを有している。ケラバ部材742は、側片7426がのぼり木72の妻側の側面72bを覆い、天板7421がのぼり木72の上面72c及び水切部材741の上片7413を覆うように配置される。また、ケラバ部材742は、被覆片7422が水切部材741の下垂片7414を覆い、下片7423が反妻側に向けて水切部材741の下垂片7414の下方を通り、起立片7424及び第1折返片7425が水切部材741の起立片7412、上片7413及び下垂片7414で囲まれる空間内に収まるように配置される。水切部材741の載置片7411とケラバ部材742の下片7423との間の空間に平板屋根材8が挿入されている。
 ケラバ部材742が除去されることにより、のぼり木72の上面が露出される。第1屋根ユニット21の左右両側に、すなわち第1屋根ユニット21の側部露出領域211(図3参照)及びのぼり木72に吊具を取り付けて、その吊具を用いて第1屋根ユニット21を吊り上げることができる。
<垂木部材について>
 次に、図6は図3の垂木部材78を示す斜視図であり、図7は図6の垂木部材78を示す正面図である。なお、図6で、図3の野地板70を合わせて示している。本実施の形態の垂木部材78は、角形金属管によって構成されている。また、本実施の形態の垂木部材78は、閉鎖断面を有している。より具体的には、本実施の形態の垂木部材78は、長壁780及び短壁781を有する断面長方形状の角形金属管によって構成されている。長壁780及び短壁781は、垂木部材78の壁部を構成する。図7に示すように、本実施の形態の垂木部材78は、長壁780の延在方向を上下方向とし、短壁781の上に図3の野地板70が載せられるように適合されている。但し、角形金属管の断面形状は、任意であり、例えば正方形又は台形等の他の形状であってもよい。垂木部材78が閉鎖断面を有する角形金属管とされることで、垂木部材78を薄肉化して軽量化しても強度を確保でき、施工性を向上できる。また、仮に垂木部材78が木材で構成されていると垂木部材78に撓みが生じ、各屋根ユニット21~24の配置に支障を来す虞がある。垂木部材78を角形金属管によって構成することで、そのような虞を低減できる。
 角形金属管の素材としては、冷延鋼板、ステンレス鋼板若しくはアルミニウム板又はこれらに表面処理を施したものを使用することができる。表面処理には、めっき及び塗装が含まれる。特に、めっきには、Zn-Al-Mg合金めっきが含まれる。角形金属管の肉厚は、0.8mm程度とすることができる。
 短壁781には、垂木部材78の長手方向に延在されたリブ783が設けられている。このようなリブ783が短壁781に設けられていることで、垂木部材78の長手方向に直交する方向に沿って垂木部材78に加えられる外力に対する垂木部材78の剛性を向上できる。本実施の形態のリブ783は、短壁781の幅方向に間隔を置いて配置された複数の凹部を有している。本実施の形態の複数の凹部は、第1及び第2凹部群7831,7832を形成している。第1及び第2凹部群7831,7832は、短壁781の幅方向に係る中央部に形成された平板部7833の両側に配置されている。なお、リブ783は、短壁781の幅方向に間隔を置いて配置された複数の凸部を有していてもよい。
 図7に示しているように、野地板70を垂木部材78に緊結するビス78aは、短壁781を貫通して垂木部材78の内側に進入している。垂木部材78の内側には、ビス78aを取り囲むように打ち抜きバリ784が形成されている。打ち抜きバリ784は、ビス78aに絡みつきビス78aの引き抜きを阻害する。
 垂木部材78には、垂木部材78を構成する金属板(素材金属板)の両側部がカシメられたカシメ部785が設けられている。換言すると、本実施の形態の垂木部材78では、素材金属板の両側部を溶接により接合していない。素材金属板として表面処理を施した金属板を用いる場合、素材金属板の両側部を溶接すると、接合部の表面処理が除去されてしまう。表面処理が除去されると接合部から腐食が生じやすくなる。また、接合部に対して表面処理の補修を行う必要が生じる。素材金属板の両側部をカシメにより接合することで、このような問題の発生を回避することができる。本実施の形態のカシメ部785は、素材金属板の両側部がハゼ折りされたハゼ折り部により構成されている。
<平板屋根材について>
 次に、図8は図4の平板屋根材8を示す斜視図であり、図9は図8の線IX-IXに沿う平板屋根材8の断面図であり、図10は図8の吊子81を示す斜視図である。図8に示すように、平板屋根材8は、屋根材本体80と複数の吊子81とを有している。
 図9に示すように、本実施の形態の屋根材本体80は、金属板を素材とする表基材800、表基材800の裏側に配置された裏基材801、及び表基材800と裏基材801との間に充填された芯材802を有する金属屋根材によって構成されている。
 表基材800は、裏側に開口を有する箱形に金属板が成形されたものであり、平板屋根材8が下地材7の上に配置された際に屋根の外面に現れる部材である。表基材800の素材である金属板としては、溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板、溶融アルミニウム-亜鉛合金めっき鋼板、溶融亜鉛-アルミニウム-マグネシウム合金めっき鋼板、溶融アルミニウムめっき鋼板、溶融亜鉛めっきステンレス鋼板、溶融アルミニウム-亜鉛合金めっきステンレス鋼板、溶融亜鉛-アルミニウム-マグネシウム合金めっきステンレス鋼板、溶融アルミニウムめっきステンレス鋼板、ステンレス鋼板、Al板、Ti板、塗装溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板、塗装溶融アルミニウム-亜鉛合金めっき鋼板、塗装溶融亜鉛-アルミニウム-マグネシウム合金めっき鋼板、塗装アルミニウムめっき鋼板、塗装溶融亜鉛めっきステンレス鋼板、塗装溶融アルミニウム-亜鉛合金めっきステンレス鋼板、塗装溶融亜鉛-アルミニウム-マグネシウム合金めっきステンレス鋼板、塗装溶融アルミニウムめっきステンレス鋼板、塗装ステンレス鋼板、塗装Al板、塗装Ti板を用いることができる。
 金属板の厚みは0.5mm以下であることが好ましい。金属板の厚みの増加に伴い、平板屋根材8の強度が増大する一方で重量が増す。金属板の厚みを0.5mm以下とすることで、平板屋根材8の重量が大きくなりすぎることを回避できる。なお、金属板の厚みが0.27mm以上であることが好ましい。金属板の厚みを0.27mm以上とすることで、平板屋根材8として必要とされる強度を確保でき、耐風圧性能を十分に得ることができる。耐風圧性能とは、強い風に対して座屈せずに平板屋根材8が耐えられる性能である。
 裏基材801は、表基材800の裏側の開口を塞ぐように表基材800の裏側に配置されている。裏基材801としては、アルミ箔、アルミ蒸着紙、水酸化アルミ紙、炭酸カルシウム紙、樹脂フィルム又はガラス繊維紙等の軽量な素材を用いることができる。これらの軽量な素材を裏基材801に用いることで、平板屋根材8の重量が増大することを回避することができる。
 芯材802は、例えば発泡樹脂等により構成されるものであり、表基材800と裏基材801との間に充填されている。表基材800と裏基材801との間に芯材802が充填されることで、樹脂シート等の裏打ち材を表基材800の裏側に張り付ける態様よりも、表基材800の内部に芯材802を強固に密着させることができ、雨音性、断熱性等の平板屋根材8に求められる性能を向上させることができる。芯材802として、予め成形された板状の断熱フォームを使用してもよい。
 芯材802の素材としては、特に制限が無く、ウレタン、フェノール、ヌレート樹脂等を用いることができる。ただし、屋根材においては不燃認定材料を使用することが望ましい。不燃材料認定試験は、ISO5660-1コーンカロリーメーター試験法に準拠した発熱性試験が実施される。芯材802となる発泡樹脂が発熱量の多いウレタンなどの場合は、表基材800の全体としての厚みを薄くしたり、発泡樹脂に無機発泡粒子を含有させたりすることができる。
 芯材802が充填される表基材800の内部空間の高さは、4mm以上かつ8mm以下とされることが好ましい。内部空間の高さを4mm以上とすることで、表基材800の強度を十分に高くすることができ、耐風圧性を向上させることができる。断熱性についても4mm以上で良好となる。また、内部空間の高さを8mm以下とすることで、芯材802の有機質量が多くなりすぎることを回避して、より確実に不燃材料認定を得ることができるようにしている。
 図8に戻り、表基材800の表面には、平板屋根材8の幅方向8wに係る両側であって、平板屋根材8が下地材7の上に配置された際に軒側に位置する場所に打込表示部803が設けられている。打込表示部803は、例えば釘又はビス等の緊結部材を平板屋根材8に打ち込む位置を表すための構成である。本実施の形態の打込表示部803は、平面視円形の凹部により構成されている。しかしながら、打込表示部803は、例えば突体、開口又は印刷若しくは刻設された記号等、緊結部材の打込み位置を作業者が視覚的又は触覚的に認識できる他の態様を採ることもできる。
<吊子について>
 図8に示すように、吊子81は、平板屋根材8の幅方向8wに互いに離間して、平板屋根材8の奥行方向8dに係る一端側(棟側)において屋根材本体80に緊結されている。
 図10に示すように、吊子81は、吊子本体810、第1係合部811及び第2係合部812を有している。
 吊子本体810は、平板屋根材8の奥行方向8dに延在される平板部分である。
 第1係合部811は、屋根材本体80の棟側端縁に係合されるための部分であり、奥行方向8dに係る吊子本体810の一端側に設けられている。本実施の形態の第1係合部811は、断面L字状に形成されている。
 第2係合部812は、奥行方向8dに係る吊子本体810の他端側に設けられている。本実施の形態の第2係合部812は、断面コ字状に形成されている。図5に示すように、平板屋根材8は、建物の軒棟方向6(第1屋根ユニット21の奥行方向21d)に関して軒側屋根材8Eに棟側屋根材8Rの一部が重ねられるように配置される。図1等に現れているように、第2係合部812には棟側屋根材8Rの軒側端部が係合される。
 屋根材本体80の棟側端縁からの第2係合部812の位置は、第1係合部811及び吊子本体810によって規定される。第2係合部812に棟側屋根材8Rの軒側端部が係合されることで、軒側屋根材8Eの働き幅又は軒側屋根材8Eと棟側屋根材8Rとの重なり幅が一定寸法とされる。吊子本体810の長さを変更することにより、軒側屋根材8Eの働き幅を変更することができる。
<第2屋根ユニットについて>
 次に、図11は図2の第2屋根ユニット22を示す斜視図であり、図12は図11の第2屋根ユニット22を示す平面図である。図11及び図12に示す第2屋根ユニット22は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21に隣接して、建物の最も軒側かつケラバから離れた位置に配置される屋根ユニット2である。第2屋根ユニット22は、建物の軒方向5に幅方向22wが沿うとともに建物の軒棟方向6に奥行方向22dが沿うように建物の上部に配置されるように適合されている。
 本実施の形態の第2屋根ユニット22は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21と同様に下地材7及び複数の平板屋根材8を有している。但し、第2屋根ユニット22の下地材7は、第1屋根ユニット21の下地材7と比較して、のぼり木72、第2防水シート73及びケラバ水切74が省略されている。
 上述の第1屋根ユニット21の側部露出領域211は、第1屋根ユニット21が建物の上部に配置された際に建物の軒方向5に係る第1屋根ユニット21の一方の側部(反ケラバ側部)のみに設けられている(図3及び図4参照)。しかしながら、第2屋根ユニット22の側部露出領域211は、第2屋根ユニット22が建物の上部に配置された際に建物の軒方向5に係る第2屋根ユニット22の両方の側部に設けられている。
 第2屋根ユニット22の第1防水シート71は、幅方向22wに係る野地板70の側端から幅方向22wにさらに延出された幅方向延出部71aを有している。幅方向延出部71aを除く第2屋根ユニット22の構成材を屋根ユニット本体と呼び、幅方向延出部71aを屋根ユニット本体から延出された防水シートと呼ぶことができる。後に図を用いて説明するように、第2屋根ユニット22の幅方向延出部71aは、第1屋根ユニット21と第2屋根ユニット22との突合せ部分を覆うために使用される。第2屋根ユニット22のその他の構成は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21の構成と同様である。
<第3屋根ユニットについて>
 次に、図13は図2の第3屋根ユニット23を示す斜視図であり、図14は図13の第3屋根ユニット23を示す平面図である。図13及び図14に示す第3屋根ユニット23は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21に隣接して、建物の軒から離れた位置かつ最もケラバ側に配置される屋根ユニット2である。第3屋根ユニット23は、建物の軒方向5に幅方向23wが沿うとともに建物の軒棟方向6に奥行方向23dが沿うように建物の上部に配置されるように適合されている。
 本実施の形態の第3屋根ユニット23は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21と同様に下地材7及び複数の平板屋根材8を有している。但し、第3屋根ユニット23の下地材7は、第1屋根ユニット21の下地材7と比較して、軒先水切75及び軒板77が省略されている。
 第3屋根ユニット23の第1防水シート71は、奥行方向23dに係る野地板70の端部から奥行方向23dにさらに延出された奥行方向延出部71bを有している。奥行方向延出部71bを除く第3屋根ユニット23の構成材を屋根ユニット本体と呼び、奥行方向延出部71bを屋根ユニット本体から延出された防水シートと呼ぶことができる。後に図を用いて説明するように、第3屋根ユニット23の奥行方向延出部71bは、第1屋根ユニット21と第3屋根ユニット23との突合せ部分を覆うために使用される。第3屋根ユニット23のその他の構成は、上述の第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の構成と同様である。
<第4屋根ユニットについて>
 次に、図15は図2の第4屋根ユニット24を示す斜視図であり、図16は図15の第4屋根ユニット24を示す平面図である。図15及び図16に示す第4屋根ユニット24は、上述の第2及び第3屋根ユニット22,23に隣接して、建物の軒及びケラバから離れた位置に配置される屋根ユニット2である。第4屋根ユニット24は、建物の軒方向5に幅方向24wが沿うとともに建物の軒棟方向6に奥行方向24dが沿うように建物の上部に配置されるように適合されている。
 本実施の形態の第4屋根ユニット24は、上述の第1屋根ユニット21と同様に下地材7及び複数の平板屋根材8を有している。但し、第4屋根ユニット24の下地材7は、第1屋根ユニット21の下地材7と比較して、のぼり木72、第2防水シート73、ケラバ水切74、軒先水切75及び軒板77が省略されている。
 第4屋根ユニット24の第1防水シート71は、幅方向24wに係る野地板70の側端から幅方向24wにさらに延出された幅方向延出部71aと、奥行方向24dに係る野地板70の端部から奥行方向24dにさらに延出された奥行方向延出部71bとを有している。これら幅方向延出部71a及び奥行方向延出部71bを除く第4屋根ユニット24の構成材を屋根ユニット本体と呼び、幅方向延出部71a及び奥行方向延出部71bを屋根ユニット本体から延出された防水シートと呼ぶことができる。後に図を用いて説明するように、第4屋根ユニット24の幅方向延出部71aは、第3屋根ユニット23と第4屋根ユニット24との突合せ部分を覆うために使用される。また、第4屋根ユニット24の奥行方向延出部71bは、第2屋根ユニット22と第4屋根ユニット24との突合せ部分を覆うために使用される。第4屋根ユニット24のその他の構成は、上述の第1~第3屋根ユニット21~23の構成と同様である。
<端部カバー材について>
 次に、図1の端部カバー材3についてより詳細に説明する。端部カバー材3は、屋根ユニット2(第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24)の端部露出領域210を覆うために使用される。本実施の形態の端部カバー材3としては、屋根ユニット2に含まれるものと同様の平板屋根材8(金属屋根材)が使用される(図8参照)。但し、屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8は側部露出領域211を形成するために野地板70よりも幅狭なものが使用されているが(図4等参照)、端部カバー材3としての平板屋根材8は野地板70と同程度の幅を有するものが使用される。
<側部カバー材について>
 次に、図17は、図1の側部カバー材4を示す斜視図である。側部カバー材4は、屋根ユニット2(第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24)の側部露出領域211を覆うために使用される。本実施の形態の側部カバー材4は、建物の軒方向5に幅方向4wが沿うとともに建物の軒棟方向6に奥行方向4dが沿うように建物の上部に配置されるように適合されている。
 本実施の形態の側部カバー材4は、平板状の側部カバー材本体40と、奥行方向4dに係る側部カバー材本体40の一端に設けられた係合部41と、側部カバー材本体40の裏面側に配置された芯材42とを有している。本実施の形態の側部カバー材本体40及び係合部41は、1枚の金属板により構成されており、互いに一体的に設けられている。
 側部カバー材本体40は、側部カバー材4の幅方向4w及び奥行方向4dに延在されている。
 後に図を用いて説明するように、側部カバー材本体40は、建物の軒方向5に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材8(例えば第1屋根ユニット21の平板屋根材8及び第2屋根ユニット22の平板屋根材8)に重ねられる。すなわち、側部カバー材本体40は、建物の軒方向5に関して隣接された一対の屋根ユニット2の軒方向5に関する平板屋根材8の離間距離よりも大きな幅を有している。
 また、奥行方向4dに係る側部カバー材本体40の他端40aは、側部カバー材本体40が重ねられる一対の平板屋根材8よりも棟側に位置する平板屋根材8の下に挿入される。すなわち、奥行方向4dに係る側部カバー材本体40の長さは、屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の働き幅よりも長くされている。
 係合部41は、側部カバー材4の奥行方向4d(建物の軒棟方向6)に係る側部カバー材本体40の他端に設けられた断面コ字状部分である。後に図を用いて説明するように、係合部41は、上述の側部カバー材本体40が重ねられる一対の平板屋根材8の軒側端部に係合される。
 芯材42は、矩形の外形を有している。芯材42としては、例えば発泡樹脂の成形品等を使用することができる。芯材42は、側部カバー材本体40の裏面に張り付けられていてもよいが、側部カバー材本体40と別体であってもよい。後に図を用いて説明するように、芯材42は、上述の側部カバー材本体40が重ねられる一対の平板屋根材8の間に挿入される。芯材42の幅は、建物の軒方向5に関して隣接された一対の屋根ユニット2の軒方向5に関する平板屋根材8の離間距離と同程度か又はその離間距離よりも若干狭いことが好ましい。
<屋根の施工方法について>
 図18は、図1の屋根構造1を製造するための屋根の施工方法を示すフローチャートである。図19は、図18のユニット配置工程(ステップS1)及び突合せカバー工程(ステップS2)を示す説明図である。図20は図18の端部カバー工程(ステップS3)において端部カバー材3が取り付けられる直前の状態を示す説明図であり、図21は図20の端部カバー材3の取り付けが完了した状態を示す説明図である。図22は、図18の側部カバー工程(ステップS4)を示す説明図である。
 本実施の形態の屋根構造1は、図18に示す屋根の施工方法により製造される。すなわち、屋根の施工方法との用語は、屋根の製造方法と同意である。図18に示すように、本実施の形態の屋根の施工方法には、ユニット配置工程(ステップS1)、突合せカバー工程(ステップS2)、端部カバー工程(ステップS3)及び側部カバー工程(ステップS4)が含まれている。
<ユニット配置工程について>
 ユニット配置工程(ステップS1)では、図19に示すように複数の屋根ユニット2を互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置する。
 具体的には、建物の上部に第1屋根ユニット21を配置した後に、建物の軒方向5に関して第1屋根ユニット21に隣接するように第2屋根ユニット22を建物の上部に配置する。これら第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22は、軒方向5に関して互いの側部露出領域211が隣接するように配置される。
 建物の上部に第1屋根ユニット21を配置するとき、図5に示すケラバ水切74のケラバ部材742を除去しておき、のぼり木72に吊具を取り付けてよい。また、このとき、第1屋根ユニット21の側部露出領域211に吊具を取り付けてよい。これらのぼり木72及び側部露出領域211に吊具を取り付けることで、バランス良く第1屋根ユニット21を吊り上げることができる。建物の上部に第2屋根ユニット22を配置するとき、第2屋根ユニット22の両側の側部露出領域211に吊具を取り付けることができる。第3及び第4屋根ユニット23,24についても同様である。
 また、第1屋根ユニット21を建物の上部に配置した後に、建物の軒棟方向6に関して第1屋根ユニット21に隣接するように第3屋根ユニット23を建物の上部に配置する。第3屋根ユニット23は、その第3屋根ユニット23の軒側端部が第1屋根ユニット21の端部露出領域210に隣接するように配置される。
 さらに、第2及び第3屋根ユニット22,23を建物の上部に配置した後に、軒方向5に関して第3屋根ユニット23に隣接するとともに、軒棟方向6に関して第2屋根ユニット22に隣接するように、第4屋根ユニット24を建物の上部に配置する。第3及び第4屋根ユニット23,24は、軒方向5に関して互いの側部露出領域211が隣接するように配置される。
<突合せカバー工程について>
 突合せカバー工程(ステップS2)では、図19に示すように屋根ユニット2間の突合せ部分を第1防水シート71により覆う。上述のように本実施の形態の第2~第4屋根ユニット22~24は、屋根ユニット本体から延出された幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71bを有している。このため、本実施の形態の屋根の施工方法では、屋根ユニット2を互いに隣接するように配置することに合わせて、それらの突合せ部分を幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)により覆う。
 具体的には、第1屋根ユニット21に隣接するように第2屋根ユニット22を配置する際に、第2屋根ユニット22の幅方向延出部71aが第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22間の突合せ部分を跨いで第1屋根ユニット21の側部露出領域211に重ねられることで、第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22間の突合せ部分が第2屋根ユニット22の幅方向延出部71aにより覆われる。
 また、第1屋根ユニット21に隣接するように第3屋根ユニット23を配置する際に、第3屋根ユニット23の奥行方向延出部71bが第1及び第3屋根ユニット21,23間の突合せ部分を跨いで第1屋根ユニット21の端部露出領域210に重ねられることで、第1及び第3屋根ユニット21,23間の突合せ部分が第3屋根ユニット23の奥行方向延出部71bにより覆われる。
 さらに、第2屋根ユニット22に隣接するように第4屋根ユニット24を配置する際に、第4屋根ユニット24の奥行方向延出部71bが第2及び第4屋根ユニット22,24間の突合せ部分を跨いで第2屋根ユニット22の端部露出領域210に重ねられることで、第2及び第4屋根ユニット22,24間の突合せ部分が第4屋根ユニット24の奥行方向延出部71bにより覆われる。同様に、第3屋根ユニット23に隣接するように第4屋根ユニット24を配置する際に、第4屋根ユニット24の幅方向延出部71aが第3及び第4屋根ユニット23,24間の突合せ部分を跨いで第3屋根ユニット23の側部露出領域211に重ねられることで、第3及び第4屋根ユニット23,24間の突合せ部分が第4屋根ユニット24の幅方向延出部71aにより覆われる。

 端部カバー工程(ステップS3)では、突合せ部分を幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)により覆った後に、図20及び図21に示すように、第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の端部露出領域210を覆うように端部カバー材3を第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の下地材7に重ねる。端部カバー材3は、第3及び第4屋根ユニット23,24(軒側の屋根ユニット)の平板屋根材8の下に挿入されるとともに、第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22(軒側の屋根ユニット)の平板屋根材8に重ねられる。上述のように、端部カバー材3としての平板屋根材8は、屋根ユニット2に含まれる平板屋根材8よりも幅広とされている。第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の端部露出領域210をそれぞれ覆う一対の端部カバー材3は建物の軒方向5に関して互いに隣接されている。端部カバー材3の軒側端部は、第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の平板屋根材8の吊子81に設けられた第2係合部812に係合される。また、端部カバー材3は、例えばビス又は釘等の緊結部材9により第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24の下地材7に緊結され得る。端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9を側部カバー材4によって覆い隠すことができるように、端部カバー材3の端部に緊結部材9が打ち込まれることが好ましい。
<側部カバー工程について>
 側部カバー工程(ステップS4)では、突合せ部分を幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)により覆った後に、図22に示すように、第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24の側部露出領域211を覆うように側部カバー材4を第1~第4屋根ユニット21~24の下地材7に重ねる。このとき、側部カバー材4の側部カバー材本体40は、建物の軒方向5に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材8(例えば第1及び第2屋根ユニット21,22の平板屋根材8)に重ねられる。また、その側部カバー材本体40が重ねられた一対の平板屋根材8よりも棟側に位置する平板屋根材8の下に側部カバー材本体40の他端40aが挿入される。さらに、その側部カバー材本体40が重ねられた一対の平板屋根材8の軒側端部に係合部41が係合される。さらに、その側部カバー材本体40が重ねられた一対の平板屋根材8の間に芯材42が挿入される。
 このような屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造1では、屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を防水シートが覆うので、止水性の低下を抑えつつ、屋根の施工に要する時間を短くすることができる。
 また、隣接する一対の屋根ユニット2のいずれか一方から幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)が延出されているので、屋根ユニット2を互いに隣接するように配置することに合わせて、それらの突合せ部分を幅方向延出部71a及び/又は奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)により覆うことができる。防水シートを別部材として準備する態様と比較して、より確実に止水性の低下を抑えることができるとともに、屋根の施工に要する時間をさらに短くすることができる。
 さらに、奥行方向延出部71b(第1防水シート71)が突合せ部分を跨いで端部露出領域210に重ねられるので、屋根の施工に要する時間をさらに短くすることができる。すなわち、仮に端部露出領域210まで平板屋根材8が配置されていると、平板屋根材8の下に第1防水シート71を挿入する手間が生じるが、本実施の形態の構成を採ることによりそのような手間の発生を回避することができる。
 さらにまた、端部カバー材3が棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の下に挿入されるとともに軒側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8に重ねられるので、端部カバー材3が目立つことを回避することができるとともに、端部露出領域210をより確実に覆うことができる。換言すると、配列された複数の平板屋根材8の中に端部カバー材3を紛れ込ませることができる。
 また、端部カバー材3が平板屋根材8であるので、端部カバー材3が目立つことをより確実に回避することができる。
 さらに、幅方向延出部71a(第1防水シート71)が突合せ部分を跨いで側部露出領域211に重ねられるので、屋根の施工に要する時間をさらに短くすることができる。すなわち、仮に側部露出領域211まで平板屋根材8が配置されていると、平板屋根材8の下に第1防水シート71を挿入する手間が生じるが、本実施の形態の構成を採ることによりそのような手間の発生を回避することができる。
 さらにまた、各屋根ユニット2が建物の軒方向5に関して互いの側部露出領域211が隣接するように配置されるので、運搬時及び設置時に各屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の端部が破損する虞を低減できる。また、第1防水シート71に不具合が生じた場合に、屋根ユニット2間の突合せ部分に対して防水テープを貼付する等の補修を行うことができる。
 また、建物の軒方向5に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材8に側部カバー材本体40が重ねられるとともに、一対の平板屋根材8よりも棟側に位置する平板屋根材8の下に側部カバー材本体40の他端40aが挿入され、一対の平板屋根材8の軒側端部に係合部41が係合されるように配置されるので、側部カバー材4が目立つことを回避しつつ、屋根ユニット2の側部露出領域211をより確実に覆うことができる。換言すると、配列された複数の平板屋根材8の中に側部カバー材4を紛れ込ませることができる。
 さらに、側部カバー材本体40の裏面側に配置されるとともに、一対の平板屋根材8の間に挿入される芯材42を側部カバー材4がさらに有しているので、側部カバー材4の遮音性能を向上できるとともに、側部カバー材4の踏み潰れ性能を向上できる。
 さらにまた、平板屋根材8が表基材800、裏基材801及び芯材802を有する金属屋根材であるので、屋根の重量が増大することを回避することができる。また、金属屋根材が撓みを許容するので、棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の下に端部カバー材3を挿入する際に平板屋根材8が損傷する虞を低減できる。さらに、側部カバー材本体40を金属板により構成する場合に、側部カバー材本体40と平板屋根材8との表面に違いを小さくでき意匠性を向上できる。
 なお、実施の形態では、隣接する一対の屋根ユニット2のいずれか一方から第1防水シート71が延出されるように説明したが、別部材として準備された防水シートにより屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を覆ってもよい。
 また、屋根ユニット2に端部露出領域210又は側部露出領域211が設けられるように説明したが、屋根ユニットの下地材の全面が平板屋根材により覆われて、端部露出領域及び側部露出領域が設けられていなくてもよい。
 さらに、平板屋根材8が金属屋根材であるように説明したが、例えばカラーベスト等の平形屋根用スレートの平板屋根材が使用されてもよい。
 実施の形態2.
 図23は、本発明の実施の形態2による屋根構造1を示す斜視図である。実施の形態1では、端部カバー材3の端部に緊結部材9が打ち込まれるように説明した。しかしながら、下地材7への端部カバー材3の緊結をより強固するため、より多くの緊結部材9を端部カバー材3に打ち込む場合もある。
 図23に示すように、本実施の形態2では、端部カバー材3の端部に加えて建物の軒方向5に間隔を置いて複数の箇所において端部カバー材3に緊結部材9が打ち込まれている。また、それら緊結部材9を覆い隠すように緊結部材カバー30を端部カバー材3に重ねている。すなわち、本実施の形態2の屋根の施工方法では、端部カバー材3を下地材7に重ねた後に、端部カバー材3に緊結部材9を打ち込み端部カバー材3を下地材7に緊結する工程と、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9を覆い隠すように緊結部材カバー30を端部カバー材3に重ねる工程とをさらに含む。緊結部材カバー30が緊結部材9を覆い隠すことにより、緊結部材9の腐食を抑えることができる。
 次に、図24は図23の緊結部材カバー30を示す平面図であり、図25は図24の緊結部材カバー30を示す側面図であり、図26は図24の緊結部材カバー30を示す背面図である。図24~図26に示すように、本実施の形態の緊結部材カバー30は、基板部300、上部折返部301及び下部折返部302を有している。
 基板部300は、緊結部材カバー30の幅方向30a及び奥行方向30bに延在する平板状の部分である。基板部300は、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9に重ねられる。本実施の形態の基板部300には、上部切欠303及び下部切欠304が設けられている。上部切欠303は、奥行方向30bに係る基板部300の一端かつ幅方向30aに係る基板部300の中央部に設けられている。同様に、下部切欠304は、奥行方向30bに係る基板部300の他端かつ幅方向30aに係る基板部300の中央部に設けられている。図23に示すように端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9に基板部300が重ねられるとき、端部カバー材3の吊子81が上部切欠303内に収められ、端部カバー材3に軒側に位置する平板屋根材8の吊子81が下部切欠304内に収められる。
 上部折返部301は、基板部300の一端から基板部300の表側に折り返された部分である。基板部300の表側とは、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9に基板部300が重ねられたとき、外観に現れる基板部300の表面の側を指す。本実施の形態の上部折返部301は、上部切欠303が間に位置するように配置された一対の上部舌片301aによって構成されている。本実施の形態では、基板部300と上部舌片301aとの間の角度は鋭角とされている。後に図を用いて説明するように、上部折返部301は、棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の下に挿入されるとともに棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8と係合する。
 下部折返部302は、基板部300の他端から基板部300の裏側に折り返された部分である。基板部300の裏側とは、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9に基板部300が重ねられたとき、端部カバー材3及び緊結部材9と向かい合う基板部300の裏面300bの側を指す。本実施の形態の下部折返部302は、下部切欠304が間に位置するように配置された一対の縦壁302a、一対の延出壁302b及び一対の下部舌片302cによって構成されている。縦壁302aは、基板部300の他端から立設された壁部である。本実施の形態では、基板部300と縦壁302aとの間の角度は90°とされている。延出壁302bは、縦壁302aの先端から緊結部材カバー30の奥行方向30bに延出された壁部である。本実施の形態では、縦壁302aと延出壁302bとの間の角度が鈍角とされている。すなわち、延出壁302bは、基端(縦壁302a側)に比べて先端(下部舌片302c側)が基板部300から離れるように延在されている。下部舌片302cは、延出壁302bの先端から基板部300の裏面300bに近づくように折り返された部分である。本実施の形態では、延出壁302bと下部舌片302cとの間の角度は鋭角とされている。後に図を用いて説明するように、下部折返部302は、端部カバー材3の下に挿入されるとともに端部カバー材3と係合する。
 次に、図27は図23の緊結部材カバー30が取り付けられる状態を示す説明図であり、図28は図25の緊結部材カバー30と端部カバー材3及び平板屋根材8との関係を示す説明図である。図27に示すように、緊結部材カバー30は、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9を覆い隠すように端部カバー材3に重ねられる。このとき、端部カバー材3の表面に沿って緊結部材カバー30を棟側にスライドさせることにより、棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の下に上部折返部301が挿入されるとともに、端部カバー材3の下に下部折返部302が挿入される。このとき、棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の裏側において、その平板屋根材8に上部折返部301(特に上部舌片301a)が係合される。また、端部カバー材3の裏側において、その端部カバー材3に下部折返部302(特に下部舌片302c)が係合される。これらの係合により、緊結部材カバー30の変位を規制でき、より長期的に緊結部材カバー30の外れを防止することができる。緊結部材カバー30を端部カバー材3に重ねる前に、緊結部材カバー30及び端部カバー材3の少なくとも一方にコーキング材と塗布してもよい。
 例えば下部折返部302の延出壁302b(図25参照)が端部カバー材3の軒側端面に突き当たる位置まで緊結部材カバー30を棟側にスライドさせる等、緊結部材カバー30を最も棟側までスライドさせた後、緊結部材カバー30を軒側に僅かに引き戻すことができる。上述のように、本実施の形態の端部カバー材3及び平板屋根材8は、表基材800、裏基材801及び芯材802を有する金属屋根材によって構成されている。緊結部材カバー30を軒側に引き戻すことにより、図28に特に示しているように上部舌片301a及び下部舌片302cを芯材802に食い込ませることができ、上部折返部301及び下部折返部302の係合をより強固にすることができる。但し、端部カバー材3及び平板屋根材8が金属屋根材によって構成されていなくても、例えば端部カバー材3及び平板屋根材8の裏面に窪みを設ける等の方法により、これら端部カバー材3及び平板屋根材8の裏面に上部折返部301及び下部折返部302を係合させることは可能である。
 このような屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造1では、端部カバー材3に打ち込まれた緊結部材9に基板部300が重ねられ、基板部300の一端から基板部300の表側に折り返された上部折返部301が棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8の下に挿入されるとともにその棟側の屋根ユニット2の平板屋根材8と係合し、基板部300の他端から基板部300の裏側に折り返された下部折返部302が端部カバー材3の下に挿入されるとともに端部カバー材3と係合するので、緊結部材9の腐食を抑えることができるとともに、より長期的に緊結部材カバー30の外れを防止することができる。
 なお、本実施の形態の緊結部材カバー30は、端部カバー材3ではない任意の部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材を覆い隠すために使用してもよい。緊結部材が打ち込まれた任意の部材を第1部材と呼び、その第1部材の一端が下に挿入された部材を第2部材と呼ぶとき、緊結部材カバー30は、第1部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材を覆い隠すための緊結部材カバーであってもよい。基板部300は、第1部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材に重ねられ得る。上部折返部301は、第2部材の下に挿入されるとともに第2部材と係合し得る。下部折返部302は、第1部材の下に挿入されるとともに第1部材と係合し得る。吊子81のように緊結部材カバー30と干渉する部材を第1及び第2部材が有しない場合、上部切欠303及び下部切欠304が省略されていてもよい。
 実施の形態3.
 図29は本発明の実施の形態3による屋根構造1に含まれる屋根ユニット2を示す斜視図であり、図30は図29の屋根ユニット2を示す底面図である。図29及び図30に示すように、本実施の形態3の屋根ユニット2の下地材7は、実施の形態1の屋根ユニット2の下地材7の構成に加えて、一対の母屋部材700が設けられている。母屋部材700は、幅方向2wに延在する長手状の部材であり、奥行方向2dに係る屋根ユニット2の一端及び他端において野地板70の下部に配置されている。垂木部材78は、母屋部材700間に配置されている。本実施の形態の母屋部材700は、図6及び図7に示す垂木部材78と同様の角形金属管によって構成されている。
 図29に特に表れているように、屋根ユニット2には、平板屋根材8によって覆われずに下地材7が露出されている端部露出領域210及び側部露出領域211が設けられている。本実施の形態3の屋根ユニット2では、端部露出領域210又は側部露出領域211において、母屋部材700の内部まで連通された開口710が野地板70及び一対の母屋部材700に設けられている。
 次に、図31は、図29の屋根ユニット2を吊り上げるための吊上治具720を示す正面図である。図31に示すように、本実施の形態3の屋根ユニット2は、上述の開口710を通して母屋部材700の内部まで吊上治具720を挿入し、その吊上治具720を介して屋根ユニット2を建物の上部に吊り上げ可能に構成されている。
 本実施の形態の吊上治具720は、本体721、接続部722、一対の突出片723及び操作部724を有している。
 本体721は、長手状の筒状体によって構成されている。本体721の直径は、野地板70及び母屋部材700に設けられた開口710の直径よりも小さくされている。
 接続部722は、本体721の上部に設けられており、例えばロープ等の部材を接続することが可能に構成されている。本実施の形態の接続部722はリング状に形成されている。
 突出片723は、本体721の下部周面に設けられた開口を通して本体721の下部周面から突出可能に設けられている。母屋部材700の内部で本体721の下部周面から突出片723が突出されることにより、野地板70及び母屋部材700に設けられた開口710からの吊上治具720の下部(本体721の下部及び突出片723)の引き抜きが規制される。突出片723は、本体721の径方向に進退可能に設けられ得る。
 操作部724は、突出片723を変位させるための部分である。本実施の形態の吊上治具720は、操作部724が操作されることにより、本体721の下部周面から突出片723が突出された状態と、本体721の内部に突出片723が収まっている状態とを切り替えることが可能に構成されている。本体721の内部に突出片723が収められることにより、開口710を通して母屋部材700の内部まで吊上治具720の下部を挿入できるとともに、吊上治具720の下部を開口710から引き抜くことができる。
 本実施の形態の操作部724は、支持部724aと、支持部724aに回動可能に取り付けられた可動片724bとを有している。図示はしないが、可動片724bは、例えばワイヤ等の部材を介して突出片723に接続されている。例えば、図31において実線で示すように可動片724bが立てられているときに本体721の下部周面から突出片723を突出させ、図31において破線で示すように可動片724bが回動させられたときに本体721の内部に突出片723が収めることができる。実線で示すように可動片724bが立てられている状態を維持するために可動片724bを付勢する例えばバネ等の付勢部材が設けられていてもよい。
 本実施の形態の屋根の施工方法は、開口710を通して母屋部材700の内部まで吊上治具720を挿入し、吊上治具720を介して屋根ユニット2を建物の上部に吊り上げる工程をさらに含む。具体的には、操作部724の操作により本体721の内部に突出片723が収めた状態で、開口710を通して母屋部材700の内部まで吊上治具720の下部を挿入する。その次に、操作部724の操作により本体721の下部周面から突出片723を突出させ、接続部722に接続された例えばロープ等の部材及び吊上治具720を介して屋根ユニット2を建物の上部に吊り上げる。
 このような屋根の施工方法及び屋根構造1では、開口710を通して母屋部材700の内部まで吊上治具720を挿入し、吊上治具720を介して屋根ユニット2を建物の上部に吊り上げるので、より容易に屋根ユニット2を建物の上部に吊り上げることができる。
 なお、実施の形態3では、開口710が母屋部材700に連通するように説明したが、開口710は垂木部材78の内部に連通されていてもよい。母屋部材700及び垂木部材78は、野地板の下部に配置された支持材を構成する。また、開口710は、母屋部材700及び垂木部材78以外の他の支持材に連通されていてもよい。

  1.  下地材と、前記下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有する複数の屋根ユニットを互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置する工程と、
     前記屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を防水シートにより覆う工程と

     屋根の施工方法。

  19.  下地材と、前記下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有し、互いに隣接するように建物の上部に配置された複数の屋根ユニットと、
     前記屋根ユニット間の突合せ部分を覆う防水シートと
     を備える、
     屋根構造。
  20.  前記防水シートは、隣接する一対の屋根ユニットのいずれか一方から延出されている、
     請求項19記載の屋根構造。
  21.  前記屋根ユニットには、前記屋根ユニットが前記建物の上部に配置された際に前記建物の軒棟方向に係る前記屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の端部に位置し、前記下地材が露出されている端部露出領域が設けられており、
     前記防水シートは、前記突合せ部分を跨いで前記端部露出領域に重ねられている、
     請求項19又は請求項20に記載の屋根構造。
  22.  隣接された前記端部露出領域を覆うように前記下地材に重ねられた端部カバー材
     をさらに備え、
     前記複数の平板屋根材は、前記建物の軒棟方向に関して軒側の平板屋根材に棟側の平板屋根材の一部が重ねられるように配置されており、
     前記端部カバー材は、棟側の屋根ユニットの前記平板屋根材の下に挿入されるとともに、軒側の屋根ユニットの前記平板屋根材に重ねられている、
     請求項21記載の屋根構造。
  23.  前記端部カバー材は、平板屋根材である、
     請求項22記載の屋根構造。
  24.  前記端部カバー材を前記下地材に緊結するために前記端部カバー材に打ち込まれた緊結部材を覆い隠すように前記端部カバー材に重ねられた緊結部材カバー
     をさらに備え、
     前記緊結部材カバーは、
     前記緊結部材に重ねられる基板部と、
     前記基板部の一端から前記基板部の表側に折り返されており、前記棟側の屋根ユニットの平板屋根材の下に挿入されるとともに前記棟側の屋根ユニットの平板屋根材と係合する上部折返部と、
     前記基板部の他端から前記基板部の裏側に折り返されており、前記端部カバー材の下に挿入されるとともに前記端部カバー材と係合する下部折返部と
     を備えている、
     請求項22又は請求項23に記載の屋根構造。
  25.  前記屋根ユニットには、前記屋根ユニットが前記建物の上部に配置された際に前記建物の軒方向に係る前記屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の側部に位置し、前記下地材が露出されている側部露出領域が設けられており、
     前記防水シートは、前記突合せ部分を跨いで前記側部露出領域に重ねられている、
     請求項19から請求項24までのいずれか一項に記載の屋根構造。
  26.  各屋根ユニットは、前記建物の軒方向に関して互いの前記側部露出領域が隣接するように配置されている、
     請求項25記載の屋根構造。
  27.  前記側部露出領域を覆うように前記下地材に重ねられた側部カバー材
     をさらに備え、
     前記複数の平板屋根材は、前記建物の軒棟方向に関して軒側の平板屋根材に棟側の平板屋根材の一部が重ねられるように配置されており、
     前記側部カバー材は、
     平板状の側部カバー材本体と、
     前記側部カバー材本体の一端に設けられた係合部と
     を備え、
     前記側部カバー材は、前記建物の軒方向に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材に前記側部カバー材本体が重ねられるとともに、前記一対の平板屋根材よりも棟側に位置する前記平板屋根材の下に前記側部カバー材本体の他端が挿入され、前記一対の平板屋根材の軒側端部に前記係合部が係合されるように配置されている、
     請求項25又は請求項26記載の屋根構造。
  28.  前記側部カバー材は、前記側部カバー材本体の裏面側に配置されるとともに、前記一対の平板屋根材の間に挿入される芯材をさらに有している、
     請求項27に記載の屋根構造。
  29.  前記平板屋根材は、金属板を素材とする表基材と、表基材の裏側に配置された裏基材と、表基材と裏基材との間に充填された芯材とを有する金属屋根材である、
     請求項19から請求項28までのいずれか一項に記載の屋根構造。
  30.  前記下地材は、
     野地板と、
     前記野地板の妻側の上面に固定された角柱状ののぼり木と、
     前記のぼり木を覆うためのケラバ水切と
     を有し、
     前記ケラバ水切は、前記野地板に重ねられるとともに前記のぼり木の反妻側の側面を覆うための水切部材と、前記のぼり木の妻側の側面及び上面を覆うためのケラバ部材とに分割可能とされている、
     請求項19から請求項29までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根構造。
  31.  前記水切部材は、前記野地板上に載置されるための載置片と、前記のぼり木の反妻側の側面に沿うように前記載置片の妻側端部から起立された起立片と、前記起立片の上端部から反妻側に延出された上片と、前記上片の反妻側端部から下垂された下垂片とを有し、
     前記ケラバ部材は、前記のぼり木の上面及び前記水切部材の前記上片を覆うための天板と、前記天板の反妻側端部から下垂されて前記水切部材の前記下垂片を覆うための被覆片とを有している、
     請求項30記載の屋根構造。
  32.  前記下地材は、
     複数の支持材と、
     支持材の上に設置された板状の野地板と
     を有し、
     前記支持材が角形金属管である、
     請求項19から請求項31までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根構造。
  33.  前記支持材の壁部には、前記支持材の長手方向に延在するリブが設けられている、
     請求項32記載の屋根構造。
  34.  前記野地板と前記支持材とがビスで緊結されており、
     前記支持材の内部には打ち抜きバリが形成されている、
     請求項32又は請求項33に記載の屋根構造。
  35.  前記支持材には、前記支持材を構成する金属板の両側部がカシメられたカシメ部が設けられている、
     請求項32から請求項34までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根構造。
  36.  前記屋根ユニットには、前記下地材が露出されている露出領域が設けられており、
     前記露出領域において、前記支持材の内部まで連通された開口が前記複数の支持材の少なくとも1つ及び前記野地板に設けられており、
     前記開口を通して前記支持材の内部まで吊上治具を挿入し、前記吊上治具を介して前記屋根ユニットを前記建物の上部に吊り上げ可能に構成されている、
     請求項32から請求項35までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根構造。
  37.  他の屋根ユニットに隣接するように建物の上部に配置される屋根ユニットであって、
     下地材と、前記下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とを有する屋根ユニット本体と、
     前記屋根ユニット本体から延出されており、前記他の屋根ユニットとの突合せ部分を覆うための防水シートと
     を備える、
     屋根ユニット。
  38.  前記屋根ユニットが前記建物の上部に配置された際に前記建物の軒棟方向に係る前記屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の端部に位置し、前記下地材が露出されている端部露出領域が設けられている、
     請求項37記載の屋根ユニット。
  39.  前記屋根ユニットが前記建物の上部に配置された際に前記建物の軒方向に係る前記屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の側部に位置し、前記下地材が露出されている側部露出領域が設けられている、
     請求項37又は請求項38に記載の屋根ユニット。
  40.  前記複数の平板屋根材は、前記建物の軒棟方向に関して軒側の平板屋根材に棟側の平板屋根材の一部が重ねられるように配置されている、
     請求項37から請求項39までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根ユニット。
  41.  前記平板屋根材は、金属板を素材とする表基材と、表基材の裏側に配置された裏基材と、表基材と裏基材との間に充填された芯材とを有する金属屋根材である、
     請求項37から請求項40までのいずれか一項に記載の屋根ユニット。
  42.  前記下地材は、
     野地板と、
     前記野地板の妻側の上面に固定された角柱状ののぼり木と、
     前記のぼり木を覆うためのケラバ水切と
     を有し、
     前記ケラバ水切は、前記野地板に重ねられるとともに前記のぼり木の反妻側の側面を覆うための水切部材と、前記のぼり木の妻側の側面及び上面を覆うためのケラバ部材とに分割可能とされている、
     請求項37から請求項41までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根ユニット。
  43.  前記水切部材は、前記野地板上に載置されるための載置片と、前記のぼり木の反妻側の側面に沿うように前記載置片の妻側端部から起立された起立片と、前記起立片の上端部から反妻側に延出された上片と、前記上片の反妻側端部から下垂された下垂片とを有し、
     前記ケラバ部材は、前記のぼり木の上面及び前記水切部材の前記上片を覆うための天板と、前記天板の反妻側端部から下垂されて前記水切部材の前記下垂片を覆うための被覆片とを有している、
     請求項42記載の屋根ユニット。
  44.  前記下地材は、
     複数の支持材と、
     前記支持材の上に設置された板状の野地板と
     を有し、
     前記支持材が角形金属管である、
     請求項37から請求項43までのいずれか1項に記載の屋根ユニット。
  45.  前記支持材の壁部には、前記支持材の長手方向に延在するリブが設けられている、
     請求項44記載の屋根ユニット。
  46.  前記野地板と前記支持材とがビスで緊結されており、
     前記支持材の内部には打ち抜きバリが形成されている、
     請求項44又は請求項45に記載の屋根ユニット。
  47.  前記支持材には、前記支持材を構成する金属板の両側部がカシメられたカシメ部が設けられている、

  48.  前記下地材が露出されている露出領域が設けられており、
     前記露出領域において、前記支持材の内部まで連通された開口が前記複数の支持材の少なくとも1つ及び前記支持材に設けられており、
     前記開口を通して前記支持材の内部まで吊上治具を挿入し、前記吊上治具を介して前記建物の上部に吊り上げ可能に構成されている、

  49.  建物の軒方向に隣接するように建物の上部に配置された一対の屋根ユニットの側部露出領域を覆うための側部カバー材であって、
     前記屋根ユニットは、下地材と、前記下地材の上に並べて配置された複数の平板屋根材とをそれぞれ有し、前記複数の平板屋根材は、前記建物の軒棟方向に関して軒側の平板屋根材に棟側の平板屋根材の一部が重ねられるように配置されており、前記側部露出領域は、前記屋根ユニットが前記建物の上部に配置された際に前記建物の軒方向に係る前記屋根ユニットの少なくとも一方の側部に位置し、前記下地材が露出された領域であり、
     平板状の側部カバー材本体と、
     前記側部カバー材本体の一端に設けられた係合部と
     を備え、
     前記建物の軒方向に関して離間する一対の平板屋根材に前記側部カバー材本体が重ねられるとともに、前記一対の平板屋根材よりも棟側に位置する前記平板屋根材の下に前記側部カバー材本体の他端が挿入され、前記一対の平板屋根材の軒側端部に前記係合部が係合されるように配置される、
     側部カバー材。
  50.  前記側部カバー材本体の裏面側に配置されるとともに、前記一対の平板屋根材の間に挿入される芯材
     をさらに備える、

  51.  第1部材に打ち込まれた緊結部材を覆い隠すための緊結部材カバーであって、前記第1部材の一端は第2部材の下に挿入されており、
     前記緊結部材に重ねられる基板部と、
     前記基板部の一端から前記基板部の表側に折り返されており、前記第2部材の下に挿入されるとともに前記第2部材と係合するように適合された上部折返部と、
     前記基板部の他端から前記基板部の裏側に折り返されており、前記第1部材の下に挿入されるとともに前記第1部材と係合するように適合された下部折返部と
     を備えている、
