Abstract
Description
実施形態に係る人工毛髪用繊維は、脂肪族ポリアミドを含有する樹脂組成物で構成される。人工毛髪用繊維をヘキサフルオロイソプロパノールに溶解したときに得られる溶解成分の重量平均分子量Mwが4.6万以上6.5万未満である。
以下、本実施形態の人工毛髪用繊維について詳細に説明する。
上記の脂肪族ジアミンとしては、例えば、1,4-ブタンジアミン、1,5-ペンタンジアミン、1,6-ヘキサンジアミン、1,7-ヘプタンジアミン、1,8-オクタンジアミン、1,9-ノナンジアミン、4-メチル-1,8-オクタンジアミン、1,10-デカジアミン、1,11-ウンデカンジアミン、1,12-ドデカンジアミン等の直鎖状脂肪族ジアミンや、2-メチル-1,8-オクタンジアミン、4-メチル-1,8-オクタンアミン、5-メチル-1,9-ノナンジアミン等の分岐鎖状脂肪族ジアミンや、イソホロンジアミン、ノルボルナンジメチルアミン、トリシクロデカンジメチルアミン等の脂環式ジアミンが挙げられる。なかでも、炭素数が10の脂肪族ジアミンであることが好ましく、1,10-デカジアミンがより好ましい。
当該重量平均分子量Mwを、上記下限値以上とすることにより、良好な触感を保持しつつ、カールセット性を向上できる。一方、当該重量平均分子量Mwを、上記上限値以下とすることにより、良好なカールセット性を保持しつつ、きしみを低減しやすくなる。また、重量平均分子量Mwを上記範囲とすることにより、良好なカールセット性と良好な触感とをバランス良く発揮させることができる。
なお、人工毛髪用繊維のヘキサフルオロイソプロパノール溶解成分の重量平均分子量Mwを上記の数値範囲内に制御する方法としては、脂肪族ポリアミドの重量平均分子量や脂肪族ポリアミドの組み合わせ等によって調整できる。
また、人工毛髪用繊維のヘキサフルオロイソプロパノール溶解成分の重量平均分子量Mwの測定は、GPC(ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー)を用いて測定することができる。
当該当該重量平均分子量(Mw)/数平均分子量(Mn)を、上記数値範囲内とすることで、良好なカールセット性と良好な触感とをバランス良く発揮させることができる。
本実施形態で用いられる樹脂組成物は、必要に応じて添加剤、たとえば、難燃剤、難燃助剤、微粒子、耐熱剤、光安定剤、蛍光剤、酸化防止剤、静電防止剤、顔料、染料、可塑剤、潤滑剤等を含有してもよい。
難燃剤の含有量は、樹脂組成物全体に対して、好ましくは1~20質量%であり、より好ましくは5~15質量%である。
実施形態に係る人工毛髪用繊維の製造方法の一例を説明するが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。

脂肪族ポリアミドC:ナイロン66、重量平均分子量Mw160000、自社製
脂肪族ポリアミドD:ナイロン66、重量平均分子量Mw60000、自社製
脂肪族ポリアミドE:ナイロン66、重量平均分子量Mw30000、自社製
半芳香族ポリアミド:ナイロン10T、TVESTAMID HO Plus M3000、ダイセルエボニック社製
ブレンドした材料または単独で用いた材料は、φ30mm二軸押出機を用いて混練し、紡糸用の原料ペレットを得た。
得られた人工毛髪用繊維と、ヘキサフルオロイソプロパノールとを、25℃で6時間、超音波洗浄機を用いて混合・撹拌した後に得られた溶液を用いて、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィを用いて、以下の測定を行った。
下記設備、条件による測定により重量平均分子量Mwおよび数平均分子量Mnを求めた。
使用装置:ポンプ・・shodexDS-4
カラム・・shodex GPC HFIP-806M×2 + HFIP-803
検出器・・shodex RI-71
溶離液:ヘキサフルオロイソプロパノール(+添加剤CF3COONa(5mmol/L))
前処理:メンブレンフィルタ-(0.2μm)で濾過
濃度:0.2w/v%
注入量:100μL
カラム温度:40℃
流速:1.0ml/分
標準物質:標準ポリメチルメタクリレ-ト(PMMA)
検量線は標準PMMAで作成し、重量平均分子量Mwおよび数平均分子量MnはPMMA換算値で表した。
各実施例および各比較例の人工毛髪用繊維の触感(きしみ性)を以下の方法で評価した。
人工毛髪用繊維を長さ250mm、重量20gに束ねた繊維束サンプルを使用し、人工毛髪用繊維処理技術者(実務経験5年以上)10人の手触りによる判定で、次の評価基準で評価した。
◎(優):技術者9人以上が、きしみ性が低いと評価したもの
○(良):技術者の7人又は8人が、きしみ性が低いと評価したもの
×(不可):技術者の6人以下が、きしみ性が低いと評価したもの
なお、人工毛髪用繊維のきしみ性が低いほど、触感が良好となる。
各実施例および各比較例の人工毛髪用繊維のカールセット性を以下の方法で評価した。
人工毛髪用繊維を長さ50cm、総重量2.0グラムに調整して繊維束を形成し、この繊維束に180℃の鉄製の焼き鏝(鏝の直径1.4cm)に巻いてカールをかけた後、焼き鏝から離して、一方端を固定して吊り下げたときにカールがあるか否かを確認した。カールがなされた状態の定義として、吊り下げた際の人工毛髪用繊維の基端と先端の間隔が、カール前の全長50cmの0.85倍未満(42.5cm未満)になった場合とした。評価前の試料として、評価のばらつきを無くすために、温度23℃、湿度50%で24時間保管した試料を採用した。人工毛髪用繊維のカールセット性について、カールセットまでに要する焼き鏝での加熱時間に応じて、次の基準で判断した。
◎(優):焼き鏝での加熱時間が5秒未満でカールセットされた
○(良):焼き鏝での加熱時間が5秒以上10秒未満でカールセットされた
×(不可):焼き鏝での加熱時間が10秒以上でカールセットされた
各実施例および各比較例の人工毛髪用繊維からなる未延伸糸の加工性について、未延伸糸100本束を延伸倍率3倍で30分間延伸処理する際に発生する糸切れの回数を評価した。具体的には、30分の延伸処理後、得られた延伸糸を目視で観察して糸切れの数を数え、次の評価基準に従い加工性を評価した。
◎(優):糸切れが0回/30分
○(良):糸切れが1回以上3回未満/30分
×(不可):糸切れが3回以上10回未満/30分

Claims (6)
- 脂肪族ポリアミドを含有する樹脂組成物で構成される人工毛髪用繊維であって、
前記人工毛髪用繊維をヘキサフルオロイソプロパノールに溶解したときに得られる溶解成分の重量平均分子量Mwが4.6万以上6.5万未満である人工毛髪用繊維。 - 前記樹脂組成物が重量平均分子量7万以上15万以下の脂肪族ポリアミド(A)と重量平均分子量4万以上5.5万以下の脂肪族ポリアミド(B)とを含む、請求項1に記載の人工毛髪用繊維。
- 前記樹脂組成物全体に対する前記脂肪族ポリアミド(A)の含有率が20質量%以上80質量%以下であり、前記樹脂組成物全体に対する前記脂肪族ポリアミド(B)の含有率が20質量%以上80質量%以下である請求項2に記載の人工毛髪用繊維。
- 前記樹脂組成物が半芳香族ポリアミドをさらに含有し、前記樹脂組成物全体に対する半芳香族ポリアミドの含有率が1質量%以上20質量%以下である請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の人工毛髪用繊維。
- 前記脂肪族ポリアミドがポリアミド6、ポリアミド66からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種以上である請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の人工毛髪用繊維。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の人工毛髪用繊維を用いた頭飾品。
