La présente invention est applicable dans le domaine technique de la gestion de stationnement, et concerne ainsi un système et un procédé d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule, le système comprenant : un dispositif d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule, utilisé pour acquérir des informations de véhicule (comprenant un numéro de plaque d'immatriculation) d'un véhicule avant que le véhicule ne passe par un dispositif de restriction et rapporter celles-ci à un contrôleur maître; un dispositif de comptage, utilisé pour compter la quantité de véhicules censés passer par le dispositif de restriction et rapporter ce nombre au contrôleur maître; et le contrôleur maître, utilisé pour transmettre une instruction d'acquisition au dispositif d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule lorsqu'il est déterminé que la quantité enregistrée de numéros de plaque d'immatriculation acquis n'est pas la même que la quantité de véhicules censés passer par le dispositif de restriction comme rapporté par le dispositif de comptage, de telle sorte que le dispositif d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule acquiert à nouveau les informations de véhicule du véhicule avant que le véhicule ne passe par le dispositif de restriction. Le nombre de fois où le système d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule acquiert des informations peut être contrôlé en fonction du résultat de la comparaison de la quantité enregistrée de numéros de plaque d'immatriculation à la quantité de véhicules censés passer par le dispositif de restriction comme rapporté par le dispositif de comptage, ce qui permet de réduire efficacement le taux d'acquisition manquée et d'améliorer le taux de reconnaissance et la précision du dispositif d'acquisition d'informations de véhicule.
