例えば、2本のフロントタイヤと4本のリアタイヤとを備えた鉱山用車両では、摩耗量などのタイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量をLとしたとき、フロントタイヤではライフ量が(2/3)Lになったときに交換し、リアタイヤではライフ量が0(0・L)になったときに交換する方法が行われている。
図6はその一例を示す図で、例えば、フロントタイヤFが新品タイヤ(ライフ量=L)で、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両Aは、フロントタイヤFのライフ量が(2/3)Lになるまで走行した後、同図のタイヤ交換1に示すように、最初のタイヤ交換では、フロントタイヤFを新品タイヤに交換する。このとき、リアタイヤRのライフ量は(1/3)Lであるので、リアタイヤRは交換しない。
次に、リアタイヤRのライフ量が0・Lになるまで走行した後、同図のタイヤ交換2に示すように、次のタイヤ交換では、フロントタイヤFを新品タイヤに交換するとともに、リアタイヤRについても新品タイヤまたはライフ量がまだ残っている別のタイヤに交換する。
また、フロントタイヤFが新品タイヤ(ライフ量=L)で、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Bでは、最初のタイヤ交換では、フロントタイヤFとリアタイヤRの両方を新品タイヤに交換し、次のタイヤ交換では、フロントタイヤFのみを新品タイヤに交換する。
また、フロントから外れたライフ量が残っているタイヤを保管しておくスペースが必要であり、適切なローテーションが行われないと、それらのタイヤの在庫量が多くなってしまったり、不使用期間が長くなってしまうため、結果として、タイヤ資源の効率的な利用がなされていなかった。
本実施の形態1に係るタイヤの交換方法について、図1のフローチャート及び図2を参照して説明する。
ここで、本例の車両は、図2に示すような、2本のフロントタイヤF(FL,FR)と4本のリアタイヤR(RL1,RL2,RR1,RR2)とを備えた鉱山用車両100で、車両の台数は30台~40台程度である。
また、タイヤの交換は、摩耗量などのタイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量をLとしたとき、フロントタイヤではライフ量が(2/3)Lになったときに交換し、リアタイヤではライフ量が0(0・L)になったときに交換するものとする。
まず、予め、交換対象となる複数の車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lを調べる(ステップS10)。本例では、このライフ量Lを、鉱山の現場で、タイヤが所定量摩耗するに要する平均の時間とした。
次に、複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αを抽出し(ステップS11)た後、残りの車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が0・Lである車両βを抽出する(ステップS12)。
本例では、図2に示すように、初期状態において、フロントタイヤFが新品で、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両Aを、フロントタイヤFの交換時期まで走行させた後、これを、車両αとして抽出し、フロントタイヤFが新品で、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Bを、フロントタイヤFの交換時期まで走行させた後、これを、車両βとして抽出した。なお、車両βを抽出するステップS12を、車両αを抽出するステップS11よりも先にしてもよいし、同時にしてもよい。
そして、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤRとを車両BのリアタイヤRとし(ステップS13)た後、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとする(ステップS14)。
これにより、車両A及び車両BのフロントタイヤFのライフ量はともにLとなり、車両BリアタイヤRのライフ量は(2/3)Lになる。
タイヤ交換後には、ステップS15に進んで、上記の車両A及び車両B以外の交換対象となる複数の車両のなかに、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両があるか否かを調べ、あった場合には、ステップS11に戻って、リアタイヤRのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両を、車両αとして抽出する。なお、交換対象となる車両がなかった場合には、本処理を終了する。
ライフ量収集手段11は、交換対象となる複数の車両100と交信して、交換対象となる複数の車両1のフロントタイヤFとリアタイヤRの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lの情報を収集する。ライフ量Lの情報としては、走行時間や走行距離などの摩耗量の目安となる情報が用いられる。ライフ量収集手段11では、車両100から送られてきた車両走行時間や走行距離などの情報を収集して、ライフ量Lとして記憶手段12に記憶する。
記憶手段12は、車両IDとフロントタイヤのライフ量LFとリアタイヤRのライフ量LRとを、車両100ごとに記憶する。
タイヤ交換車両抽出手段13は、記憶手段12に記憶された複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αと、リアタイヤのライフ量が0である車両βを抽出し、抽出された車両αの車両IDと、車両βの車両IDとをタイヤ交換指示出力手段14に送る。
タイヤ交換指示出力手段14は、車両αのフロントタイヤFと車両βのフロントタイヤRとを車両βのリアタイヤRとし、車両αのフロントタイヤFと車両βのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとする指示を出力する。
これにより、タイヤ交換を効率よく行うことができるので、タイヤ資源を効率的に利用することができる。
なお、タイヤ交換の指示を出力する出力先は、車両の状態を管理する管理センターでもよいし、該当する車両であってもよい。該当車両の場合には、指示があったことを示すランプを点灯させるとともに、指示内容をディスプレイなどに表示するなどして、管理者にタイヤ交換を促すようにすればよい。
前記実施の形態1では、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αを抽出した後、リアタイヤのライフ量が0・Lである車両βを抽出したが、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Aと、リアタイヤのライフ量が0・Lである車両Bとを抽出して、これをタイヤ交換ペアとし、タイヤ交換ペア内でタイヤ交換を行えば、タイヤ交換を更に効率よく行うことができる。
以下、本実施の形態2に係るタイヤの交換方法について、図3のフローチャート及び図4を参照して説明する。
まず、実施の形態1と同様に、予め、交換対象となる複数の車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lを調べる(ステップS20)。
次に、複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両Aとリアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Bを抽出してこれを、タイヤ交換ペアとする(ステップS21)。
図4では、リアタイヤのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両Cとリアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Dのタイヤ交換ペアのタイヤ交換経過についても併せて記載した。なお、初期状態では、車両A~DのフロントタイヤFは新品である。
そして、車両Aと車両Bとを、フロントタイヤFの交換時期まで走行させ(ステップS22)た後、車両Bがタイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能であるか否かを調べる(ステップS23)とともに、車両Aについても、タイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能であるか否かを調べる(ステップS24)。ここで、使用可能ない状態とは、車両Bが何らかのトラブルを起こして稼動停止になった状態、もしくは、稼動停止時間が長くタイヤの摩耗が進んでいない状態、あるいは、タイヤが砕石を踏んで損傷した状態などをを指す。
車両Aも車両Bもタイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能である場合には、ステップS25に進んで、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤRとを車両BのリアタイヤRとした後、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとする(ステップS26)。
図4に示すように、車両Cと車両Dについても、車両A及び車両Bと同様に、車両Cも車両Dもタイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能である場合には、車両CのフロントタイヤFと車両DのフロントタイヤRとを車両DのリアタイヤRとした後、車両CのフロントタイヤFと車両DのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとする。
ステップS26が再度終了した時点(図4のローテーション2実施後)では、車両Aのタイヤの状態も車両Bのタイヤの状態も初期状態とが同じになるので、再度ステップS22に戻ってからは、車両Aは車両Aのままで、車両Bは車両Bのままで、ステップS22~ステップS26までを行えばよい。
このことは、車両Cと車両Dについても同様である。
車両Bに相当する車両Dがタイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能でない場合には、ステップS31に進んで、交換対象となる車両の中に、リアタイヤのライフ量が0・Lである車両B’(図4ではD’)があるか否かを調べ、車両B’(D’)があった場合には、車両B’(D’)を車両B(D)と見做し、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤRとを車両BのリアタイヤRとした後、ステップS26に進んで、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとすればよい。また、交換対象となる車両の中に、リアタイヤのライフ量が0・Lである車両B’(図4ではD’)がない場合には、タイヤ交換処理を終了する。
図は省略するが、ステップS24において、車両Aがタイヤ交換ペアとして使用可能でない場合には、ステップS41に進んで、交換対象となる車両の中に、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両A’があるか否かを調べ、車両A’があった場合には、車両A’を車両Aと見做し、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤRとを車両BのリアタイヤRとした後、ステップS26に進んで、車両AのフロントタイヤFと車両BのフロントタイヤFとを新品タイヤとするればよい。また、交換対象となる車両の中に、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両Aがない場合には、タイヤ交換処理を終了する。
また、前記実施の形態1,2では、車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lを、タイヤが所定量摩耗するに要する平均の時間としたが、車両の走行距離としてもよい。あるいは、タイヤの摩耗量を測定し、この測定した摩耗量をライフ量Lとしてもよい。
また、前記実施の形態2では、タイヤ交換ペアを2組としたが、何組であってもタイヤ交換方法は同じであることはいうまでもない。
これにより、ライフ量の残っているタイヤの在庫量を減らすことができるとともに、不使用期間を短くできるので、タイヤ資源を効率的に利用することができる。
また、本発明は、リアタイヤのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両と、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両との組を抽出し、前記2台の車両のリアタイヤのライフ量のいずれか一方のライフ量が0になったときに、前記2台の車両のフロントタイヤを、前記ライフ量が0になった方の車両のリアタイヤとするとともに、前記2台の車両のフロントタイヤをともに新品タイヤとすることを特徴とする。
すなわち、リアタイヤのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両aとリアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両bとの組を抽出すれば、奇数回目のタイヤ交換では、車両aが前記車両αで車両bが前記車両βとなり、偶数回目のタイヤ交換では、車両aが前記車両βで車両bが前記車両αとなるので、タイヤ交換を更に効率よく行うことができる。
また、本発明は、2本のフロントタイヤと4本のリアタイヤとを備えた車両に対してタイヤ交換の指示を出力する装置であって、交換対象となる複数の車両から、交換対象となる複数の車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lの情報を収集するライフ量収集手段と、前記収集されたライフ量を車両毎に記憶する記憶手段と、前記記憶手段に記憶された複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αと、リアタイヤのライフ量が0である車両βを抽出するタイヤ交換車両抽出手段と、前記抽出された車両αと前記車両βとに対して、それぞれタイヤを交換する指示を出力するタイヤ交換指示出力手段とを備え、前記タイヤ交換指示出力手段が、前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを前記車両βのリアタイヤとし、前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを新品タイヤとする指示を出力することを特徴とする。
このような構成を採ることにより、タイヤ資源を効率的に利用することができるタイヤ交換指示装置を提供することができる。

Claims (4)
- 2本のフロントタイヤと4本のリアタイヤとを備えた車両のタイヤを交換する方法であって、
交換対象となる複数の車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lを把握するステップ(a)と、
前記複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αを抽出するステップ(b)と、
前記複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が0である車両βを抽出するステップ(c)と、
前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを前記車両βのリアタイヤとするステップ(d)と、
前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを新品タイヤとするステップ(e)とを備えることを特徴とするタイヤの交換方法。 - 前記ライフ量Lが、摩耗量または使用期間または車両走行距離であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタイヤの交換方法。
- リアタイヤのライフ量が(2/3)Lである車両と、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両との組を抽出し、
前記2台の車両のリアタイヤのライフ量のいずれか一方のライフ量が0になったときに、
前記2台の車両のフロントタイヤを、前記ライフ量が0になった方の車両のリアタイヤとするとともに、前記2台の車両のフロントタイヤをともに新品タイヤとすることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のタイヤの交換方法。 - 2本のフロントタイヤと4本のリアタイヤとを備えた車両に対してタイヤ交換の指示を出力する装置であって、
交換対象となる複数の車両から、交換対象となる複数の車両のフロントタイヤとリアタイヤの、タイヤ交換の目安となるライフ量Lの情報を収集するライフ量収集手段と、
前記収集されたライフ量を車両毎に記憶する記憶手段と、
前記記憶手段に記憶された複数の車両のなかから、リアタイヤのライフ量が(1/3)Lである車両αと、リアタイヤのライフ量が0である車両βを抽出するタイヤ交換車両抽出手段と、
前記抽出された車両αと前記車両βとに対して、それぞれタイヤを交換する指示を出力するタイヤ交換指示出力手段とを備え、
前記タイヤ交換指示出力手段は、
前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを前記車両βのリアタイヤとし、前記車両αのフロントタイヤと前記車両βのフロントタイヤとを新品タイヤとする指示を出力することを特徴とするタイヤ交換指示装置。
