Abstract
Description
本発明は、上記の課題を解決するための第1の手段として、広告、案内、説明、ニュース、災害情報その他の提供情報が蓄積されたサーバーと、所定のロケーションに設置されサーバーに接続されてサーバーによりロケーションが特定されると共に当該ロケーションに応じた提供情報をサーバーから受信して提供する複数の情報提供端末と、所定のロケーションに位置し複数の情報提供端末のうち当該ロケーションに設置された情報提供端末が提供する提供情報と同じ提供情報を表示することができるユーザー端末とを備えた情報提供システムであって、サーバーは、ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応するロケーションに設置された情報提供端末を特定した上で、この特定された情報提供端末が提供すべき提供情報をユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供システムを提供するものである。
また、本発明は、上記第1乃至第9の情報提供システムを使用した下記の情報提供方法をも提供するものである。具体的には、本発明は、上記の課題を解決するための第10の手段として、広告、案内、説明、ニュース、災害情報その他の提供情報をサーバーに蓄積し、このサーバーに接続される複数の情報提供端末を所定のロケーションに設置し、サーバーによりこれらの情報処理端末のロケーションを特定する共にこれらの複数の情報提供端末により当該ロケーションに応じた提供情報をサーバーから受信して提供し、所定のロケーションに位置するユーザー端末により複数の情報提供端末のうち当該ロケーションに設置された情報提供端末が提供する提供情報と同じ提供情報を表示する情報提供方法であって、サーバーによりユーザー端末の現在位置に対応するロケーションに設置された情報提供端末を特定した上で、サーバーから、この特定された情報提供端末が提供すべき提供情報をユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供方法を提供するものである。
本発明の情報提供システム10により提供すべき提供情報としては、例えば、広告や、案内、説明、また、緊急時等の必要に応じて、ニュース速報や災害情報等を提供情報として提供することができる。従って、これらの提供情報を所定のロケーションにおいて表示等して提供する情報提供端末14を設置して適用することができる場面としては、例えば、街頭におけるデジタルサイネージ(電子広告媒体)による広告や、美術館、博物館、水族館等における展示品の説明、また、デパートやショッピングセンターにおける店舗案内、更には、観光スポットにおける観光案内等を挙げることができる。但し、情報の種類やロケーションに特に限定はなく、広く発信すべき情報や人々が集まる様々なロケーションに適用することができる。また、これらの提供情報は、本発明においては、電子情報である映像、画像、音声データや、これらの組合せとして提供することができる。
サーバー12は、図1に示すように、提供情報を蓄積するデータベース12Aと、必要に応じて電子情報である提供情報を適切な提供形式に変換する図示しない動画変換手段と、システム全体を制御する制御手段12Bとを備える。このサーバー12は、図1に示すように、情報提供端末14及びユーザー端末16との間では、LTE(又は4G)その他の携帯(移動体)高速通信規格により接続される。
一方、上述したように、街頭や美術館、観光スポット等に設置される情報提供端末14としては、具体的には、例えば、広告情報であればデジタルサイネージや、展示品の説明情報であれば美術館等に設置される説明機器、店舗案内等であれば案内機器等の比較的大型のディスプレイを備えた専用機器を、設置するか、あるいは、柱や壁面等の構造物に埋め込んで、使用することもできるが、特に、本発明においては、必ずしも、このような専用機器に限られず、図1に示すように、例えば、スマートフォンやタブレット端末のような汎用的な小型のモバイル情報端末を使用することができる。
このユーザー端末16としては、図1に示すように、一般的に普及し、各ユーザー自身が所有乃至は使用しているスマートフォンやタブレットPC等のモバイル情報端末を、そのままユーザー端末として使用することができる。即ち、スマートフォン等のユーザー端末16は、通常のモバイル通信と同様、その固有の通信機能であるLTEその他の携帯高速通信により、サーバー12との間で通信を行うことができる。
次に、上記の本発明の情報提供システム10を使用した情報提供方法について説明すると、まず、システム10の運用による提供方法の実施の前提として、情報提供端末14に専用のアプリケーションをインストールし、所定のロケーションに設置すると共に、情報提供端末14毎に、例えば、ロケーション情報(設置されている位置の情報)等を含む識別情報(アカウント)を付与する。サーバー12は、この識別情報によって各情報提供端末14を認識する。なお、この識別情報は、上述したように、情報提供端末14自体が周辺に発信する識別情報と同じものであっても、あるいは、これとは別にサーバー12での認識用に特別に付与された情報(の構成)であっても良く、後者の場合には、情報提供端末14自体が発信する識別情報と関連付けをしておく必要はある。
次に、ユーザーが、提供情報の提供(コンテンツの再生や表示)を受けるための手順について説明すると、図3に示すように、ユーザー端末16に専用のアプリケーションがインストールされていなければ、まずは、このプリケーションをダウンロードしてインストールの上、専用のアプリケーションを起動させる。

- 広告、案内、説明、ニュース、災害情報その他の提供情報が蓄積されたサーバーと、所定のロケーションに設置され前記サーバーに接続されて前記サーバーにより前記ロケーションが特定されると共に当該前記ロケーションに応じた前記提供情報を前記サーバーから受信して提供する複数の情報提供端末と、前記所定のロケーションに位置し前記複数の情報提供端末のうち前記当該ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末が提供する提供情報と同じ提供情報を表示することができるユーザー端末とを備えた情報提供システムであって、前記サーバーは、前記ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末を特定した上で、前記特定された情報提供端末が提供すべき前記提供情報を前記ユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1に記載された情報提供システムであって、前記複数の情報提供端末は、各々自らの識別情報を発信する識別情報発信手段を備え、前記ユーザー端末は、前記情報提供端末が発信する前記識別情報を受信して前記サーバーに当該前記識別情報を送信し、前記サーバーは前記ユーザー端末から送信された前記識別情報により前記ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末を特定することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項2に記載された情報提供システムであって、前記ユーザー端末は、無線通信により前記情報提供端末の識別情報発信手段が発する前記識別情報を受信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項3に記載された情報提供システムであって、前記ユーザー端末は、前記ユーザー端末と前記情報提供端末との距離に応じて、Bluetooth(登録商標)又はWi-Fi(登録商標)により、前記識別情報を受信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載された情報提供システムであって、前記サーバーは、前記ユーザー端末が発するGPS(Global Positioning System)情報に基づき当該前記ユーザー端末が現在位置する前記ロケーションを認識して、前記認識したロケーションに対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末を特定して、前記特定された情報提供端末が提供すべき提供情報と同じ提供情報を前記当該ユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか記載された情報提供システムであって、前記サーバーは、少なくとも、前記ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末として複数の前記情報提供端末が特定された場合には、当該複数の情報提供端末の位置情報を前記ユーザー端末に送信し、前記ユーザー端末により選択処理された当該前記情報提供端末が提供すべき前記提供情報を前記ユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれかに記載された情報提供システムであって、前記サーバーと前記ユーザー端末とは、LTE(Long Term Evolution)その他の携帯高速通信により通信することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載された情報提供システムであって、前記ユーザー端末は、コード等の情報を読み取ることなく、前記ユーザー端末のシェイク操作又はタップ操作により、前記サーバーとの通信又は前記情報提供端末からの前記識別情報の受信を開始することを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載された情報提供システムであって、前記情報提供端末は、モバイル情報端末又はモバイル情報端末とモニターとの組合せからなることを特徴とする情報提供システム。
- 広告、案内、説明、ニュース、災害情報その他の提供情報をサーバーに蓄積し、前記サーバーに接続される複数の情報提供端末を所定のロケーションに設置し、前記サーバーにより前記情報処理端末の前記ロケーションを特定する共に前記複数の情報提供端末により当該前記ロケーションに応じた前記提供情報を前記サーバーから受信して提供し、前記所定のロケーションに位置するユーザー端末により前記複数の情報提供端末のうち前記当該ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末が提供する提供情報と同じ提供情報を表示する情報提供方法であって、前記サーバーにより前記ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末を特定した上で前記サーバーから、前記特定された前記情報提供端末が提供すべき前記提供情報を前記ユーザー端末に送信することを特徴とする情報提供方法。
- 請求項10に記載された情報提供方法であって、前記複数の情報提供端末が備える識別情報発信手段により前記複数の情報提供端末各々自らの識別情報を発信し、前記ユーザー端末により、前記情報提供端末が発信する前記識別情報を受信して前記サーバーに当該前記識別情報を送信し、前記ユーザー端末から送信された前記識別情報から前記ユーザー端末の現在位置に対応する前記ロケーションに設置された前記情報提供端末を特定することを特徴とする情報提供方法。
- 請求項11に記載された情報提供方法であって、無線通信により前記情報提供端末の識別情報発信手段が発する前記識別情報を前記ユーザー端末に受信させることを特徴とする情報提供方法。
- 請求項12に記載された情報提供方法であって、前記ユーザー端末と前記情報提供端末との距離に応じて、Bluetooth(登録商標)又はWi-Fi(登録商標)により、前記ユーザー端末に前記識別情報を受信させることを特徴とする情報提供方法。
