Abstract
Description
以下、本発明の第1の実施形態について図面を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態においては、化粧料である流体のコンシーラを被塗布面としての肌に塗布する流体塗布容器1を説明する。なお、流体塗布容器1の長手方向の中心軸線を単に「軸線」というものとし、該軸線の延在方向を「軸線方向」というものとする。本明細書及び図面において、実質的に同一の機能を有する構成要素については、同一の符号を付することにより重複説明を省略する。
容器本体10は、軸線方向に延在する略中空円筒状の長尺部材であり、ポリプロピレン等の樹脂材料により構成される。流体Fを収容するタンクTの前方に位置する容器本体10の先端部は内径及び外径共に容器本体10の他の部分よりも小径に形成される。容器本体10の先端部の内周面には流体吐出体が嵌合すると共に、容器本体10の先端部の外周面には先具30が嵌合する。容器本体10の後端部には、プランジャ50の尾冠51が容器本体10に対して相対回転可能に嵌合する。
本実施形態の流体吐出体は、容器本体10に嵌合するその後部のホルダ22と、ホルダ22の先端部と接続するその前部のスパチュラ24と、を有する。
図5および図6に示すように、本実施形態の塗布体としてのアプリケータ26は、平面形状が略半楕円の2枚の板材を結合した袋状に形成され、その内部にはスパチュラ24が挿入可能な内部空間262が形成される。本実施形態のアプリケータ26は、2枚の板材の周辺縁を溶着することにより結合して袋状に形成されている。しかしながら、結合する板材は2枚に限られることなく、他の実施形態では任意の複数毎の板材を結合して袋状に形成されたアプリケータを構成するものとしてもよい。袋状のアプリケータ26内でスパチュラ24が自在に弾性変形することができるように構成すると、スパチュラ24又はアプリケータ26単体で流体Fを塗布する場合の触感よりも優れた触感をユーザに与えることができる。アプリケータ26は、流体Fが含侵可能な多孔質材で形成され、所定の弾性を有し、その硬度はスパチュラ24の硬度よりも低い硬度として構成される。アプリケータ26を構成する多孔質材としては、例えばスポンジを用いることができ、特に、ユーザに心地よい感触及び使用感を与えることができると共に耐久性の高い、ウレタンスポンジを用いることが好ましい。袋状に形成された比較的硬度の低いアプリケータ26を、先細の板状に形成された比較的硬度の高いスパチュラ24で支持して流体Fを塗布することができるように構成すると、流体Fを人の指で被塗布面に塗布するような心地よい触感をユーザに与えることができる。また、スパチュラ24の吐出口245を覆うアプリケータ26の一の板材は他の板材とは識別可能であるように構成されることが好ましい。例えば、一の板材の色を他の板材の色とは異なる色として視覚的に識別可能とすることで、ユーザは袋状のアプリケータ26内のスパチュラ24の吐出口245の位置を容易に把握することができる。
図7に示すように、先具30は略中空円筒状に形成され、その外周面はキャップ40の嵌合が良好に行われるように先端側に向かうにつれて先細となるように形成される。先具30の後部の外周面上には、キャップ40の内周面に形成された環状突起と嵌合するために径内方向に窪む環状溝301が形成される。先具30の後部の内周面上には、容器本体10の先端部の外周面に形成された環状溝に嵌合するように、径内方向に突出した2つの環状突起302,303が形成される。先具30の環状突起303の前方の内周面上には、ホルダ22の2つの環状突起223,224がそれぞれ個別に嵌合する環状溝304,305が形成される。
キャップ40は、その先端に蓋板を有する略円筒状(図1参照)に形成され、先具30に嵌合したときにアプリケータ26をその内部に収容して保護することができるように構成される。キャップ40の後部の内周面上には径内方向に突出する環状突起402が形成され、環状突起402が先具30の環状溝301に嵌合してキャップ40を先具30に対して着脱自在に取り付ける。
プランジャ50は、容器本体10に対して相対的に回転可能に係止された尾冠51と、タンクT内を摺動して前進可能なピストン52と、その外周面に雄ネジ532が形成され、ピストン52を前方へ押圧するピストンロッド53と、ピストンロッド53の雄ネジ532に螺合する雌ネジをその内周面に有すると共に、その外周面が容器本体10の内周面に嵌合した回り止め54と、尾冠51の後端開口に嵌合された蓋である尾栓55と、を有する。
流体塗布容器1の組み立てについて説明する。ピストン52にピストンロッド53先端部を圧入し、回り止め54をピストンロッド53に螺合して、回り止め54の先端がピストン52の後端に当接するように組み付ける。次に、ピストンロッド53が螺合した回り止め54を容器本体10内に後方から圧入して、回り止め54を容器本体10に対して相対回転不能に組み付ける。次に、尾栓55をその後端に嵌め込んだ尾冠51を容器本体10内に後方から嵌め込んで、尾冠51の環状突起514を容器本体10の環状溝内に嵌合させる。尾冠51の当接面512とピストンロッド53の当接面534とが係合されると、容器本体10にプランジャ50が組み付けられる。
流体塗布容器1の使用方法について説明する。容器本体10に対して尾冠51を回転させると、尾冠51とピストンロッド53とが一体となって容器本体10に対して相対的に回転する。このため、ピストンロッド53が容器本体10に嵌合した回り止め54に対して回転してピストン52と共に前進し、流体Fを前方へ押し出す。押し出された流体Fは、ホルダ22の後部流路222及びスパチュラ24の前部流路241を介して吐出口245から吐出され、2枚の板材を結合した袋状のアプリケータ26の一の板材に吸収される。
第1の実施形態では、流体塗布容器1の流体吐出体は先端が略平板状のスパチュラ24を有するものと説明した。しかし、これに限定するものではなく、他の実施形態の流体塗布容器は、円筒状や三角錐、角柱等の任意の形状の流体吐出体を備えることができる。また、流体吐出体の形状と同様に、流体吐出体を覆うアプリケータの形状も任意の形状とすることができる。また、第1の実施形態ではプランジャ50が尾冠51の回転によって操作されて流体Fを押し出すものと説明した。しかし、プランジャ50の構成はこれに限定されるものではなく、他の実施形態では、操作体として尾冠にノック体を有してノック体の押下に応じて流体を吐出するものとしてもよい。以下の第2の実施形態においては、円筒状の流体吐出体と、ノック体を有するプランジャとを備える流体塗布容器を説明する。
本実施形態の流体吐出体は、容器本体10の先端開口内に嵌合するホルダ22´と、ホルダ22´の先端に結合された吐出パイプ28と、を有する。アプリケータ26´はホルダ22´の先端部及び吐出パイプ28を覆う。
図10に示すように、本実施形態の塗布体としてのアプリケータ26´は、その塗布面であるアプリケータ26´の外周面が略球状に形成され、その内部に吐出パイプ28が挿入可能な空間が形成される。アプリケータ26´は袋状に一体成型された基材にフロッキー加工がなされて形成されているが、他の実施形態では、2枚以上の複数の板状の基材を結合して袋状の基材を形成するものとしてもよい。アプリケータ26´の基材は、流体Fが含侵可能な多孔質材で構成され、所定の弾性を有し、吐出パイプ28を構成する材料よりも硬度が低い材料で形成される。アプリケータ26´の基材を構成する多孔質材としては、例えばスポンジを用いることができ、特に、ユーザに心地よい感触及び使用感を与えることができると共に耐久性の高い、ウレタンスポンジを用いることが好ましい。本実施形態では、アプリケータ26´の基材の表面にはさらに該基材を被覆するフロッキー加工264がなされ、アプリケータ26´の表面の硬度をその基材の硬度よりもさらに低い硬度とするように構成される。このように構成すると、アプリケータの硬度を流体吐出体の硬度よりも低い硬度とすることがさらに容易となると共に、ユーザに心地よい感触及び使用感を与えることができる。
プランジャ60は、図10に示すように、ノック体61と、タンクT内を摺動して前進可能なピストン62と、その外周面に雄ネジが形成されたピストンロッド63と、ピストンロッド63の雄ネジに螺合する雌ネジがその内周面に形成され、ピストンロッド63に相対回転可能に螺合する回転カム64と、回転カム64を一の回転方向へ回転駆動するために揺動可能に構成された揺動カム65と、容器本体10の後端部に取り付けられてプランジャ60を支持する尾冠66と、ノック体61を後方に向けて付勢するリターンスプリング67と、ノック体61と連結されて揺動カム65に組み付けられたスライドカム68と、を備える。
本実施形態に係る流体塗布容器1´の使用方法について説明する。ユーザがキャップ40を先具30から取り外し、ノック体61をリターンスプリング67の付勢力に抗して押下すると、ノック体61に連結するスライドカム68が揺動カム65に対して前方に移動する。この移動に応じてスライドカム68にカム係合された揺動カム65が周方向に回転し、回転カム64を一の回転方向に回転駆動する。回転カム64が回転すると、回転カム64に螺合したピストンロッド63が前進し、ピストン62及び流体Fを前方へ押し出す。押し出された流体Fは、ホルダ22´の後部流路222及び吐出パイプ28の前部流路282を介して吐出口286から吐出され、アプリケータ26´に吸収される。

Claims (6)
- 流体を収容するタンクを有する容器本体と、
後端部が前記容器本体と連結されて内部に前記タンクから流体が流入することにより、該流体を先端部に形成された吐出口から吐出する流体吐出体と、
前記流体吐出体よりも硬度が低い塗布体であって、該流体吐出体を被覆する塗布体と、
操作体を有すると共に該操作体の操作に応じて前記タンク内の流体を前記流体吐出体へと押し出すプランジャと、
を備え、
前記塗布体は、前記流体吐出体の吐出口から吐出された流体を吸収し、被塗布面に接触することにより吸収した流体を塗布することを特徴とする流体塗布容器。 - 前記流体吐出体の先端部の硬度が該流体吐出体の後端部の硬度よりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1記載の流体塗布容器。
- 前記流体吐出体の先端部と後端部とは、複合成型により一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の流体塗布容器。
- 前記流体吐出体の先端部は板状に形成されており、該先端部の一方の面に前記吐出口が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1~請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の流体塗布容器。
- 前記塗布体は複数の板材を結合した袋状に形成され、前記流体吐出体の吐出口を覆う一の板材は他の板材と識別可能である請求項1~請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の流体塗布容器。
- 前記塗布体の塗布面は略球状に形成され、該塗布面がフロッキー加工されていることを特徴とする請求項1~請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の流体塗布容器。
