Definitions
- the present invention relates to an insurance management system and method.
- iPS cells artificial pluripotent stem cells
- Patent Document 1 discloses a system for calculating a reserve amount of various insurance contracts.
- Clinical iPS cells need to be prepared and stored in a clean room that is kept very clean. For this reason, expensive costs are required to produce iPS cells. Therefore, there is a demand for construction of a system that reliably collects costs and systematically prepares iPS cells. As one aspect, for example, it is assumed that funding is performed like an insurance contract described in Patent Document 1. However, it is not possible to meet diversifying needs simply by periodically depositing an amount necessary for producing iPS cells. For example, by preparing iPS cells and examining the prepared iPS cells, it may be found for the first time that the possibility of actually using iPS cells is high. For this reason, construction of a flexible insurance management system corresponding to various cases is required.
- An insurance management system is an insurance management system including an insurance management server, and the insurance management server receives a predetermined amount of payment from a user including a customer or a related party for a predetermined period. If the cumulative amount of the deposit received by the reception unit and the user received by the reception unit satisfies the first condition, the customer's request for preparation of the specific cell is transmitted to the cell management server that manages the generation of the specific cell. If the accumulation of deposits received by the production request transmission unit and the reception unit satisfies the second condition that is larger or longer than the first condition, the customer requests to use a specific cell. And a use request transmission unit that transmits to the management server.
- the cell management server includes a receiving unit that receives a production request or a usage request from the insurance management server, and a determination unit that determines a production start date of a specific cell of the customer in response to receiving the production request in the receiving unit; A management unit that manages the production of the customer's specific cell on the production start date, and an output unit that outputs a permission to use the specific cell of the created customer in response to receiving the use request at the receiving unit.
- the insurance management server and the cell management server may be separate servers or may be realized in one server.
- the specific cells are, for example, iPS cells or cells derived from iPS cells (hereinafter, iPS cells and cells derived from iPS cells are collectively referred to as “iPS cells”).
- the cell management server may be referred to as an iPS management server that manages the production of iPS cells and the like.
- the iPS is satisfied when the first condition is smaller or shorter than the second condition.
- Production of cells and the like is started. Thereby, when iPS cells etc. are utilized, it can be guaranteed that the cost required for the production of iPS cells etc. can be recovered. Moreover, even if the cost required for the production of iPS cells and the like has not been accumulated, by performing the production of iPS cells and the like in advance, for various cases according to the test results of the produced iPS cells and the like A flexible insurance system can be provided.
- the present invention it is possible to recover the cost required for producing specific cells such as iPS cells, and to provide a flexible insurance system according to various cases.
- the insurance management system includes an insurance management server for accumulating costs for producing iPS cells.
- a large amount of cost is required to produce iPS cells. Moreover, it takes time to produce iPS cells. Furthermore, it is not predictable in advance when a situation in which iPS cells are required (for example, a situation in which regenerative medicine using iPS cells is necessary) will be faced. When actually facing the situation where iPS cells are required, there is a possibility that phenomena such as no cost for producing iPS cells or lack of facilities for producing iPS cells may occur. There is. Therefore, in the present embodiment, for example, in preparation for a state where iPS cells are required in the future, such as after 10 years, 20 years, etc., accumulation of expenses is performed by the insurance management server.
- the accumulation when the accumulation reaches the full amount, a form that enables the use of iPS cells is adopted.
- the amount, period, etc. of the funding can be varied according to the medical history of the customer who wants to use iPS cells and the test results of the cells that are the basis for producing iPS cells.
- iPS cell production can be started at a stage before the accumulation reaches the full amount, that is, when the accumulation reaches a predetermined condition less than the full amount. Then, depending on the examination result of such prepared iPS cells, the amount and period of subsequent accumulation can be varied.
- the accumulation may be made up by a customer who wants to make or use iPS cells, or may be made up by a customer concerned who wants to make or use iPS cells. For example, parents or grandparents may accumulate funds so that children, grandchildren, etc. can make and use iPS cells.
- FIG. 1 is an overall schematic diagram including an insurance management system according to the present embodiment. First, an example of the relationship between insurance accumulation and iPS cell banking performed in this embodiment will be described. The form described here is one of schematic examples and is not limited to this example.

- the case where the first condition is satisfied is, for example, when the accumulated amount of the reserve is a predetermined amount, or when the payment period of the premium becomes a predetermined period. If it is assumed that the cost required for the production of iPS cells is 5 million yen, the first condition can be a case where the accumulated amount of the reserve money of 2.5 million yen, which is half that amount.
- the insurance management server 200 transmits a request for the preparation of iPS cells in advance to the iPS management server 300 at a stage where all the costs required for the preparation of iSP cells are not accumulated.
- the first condition can be set to an arbitrary amount or a short period of time lower than the second condition.
- the reason for performing the process of transmitting the iPS cell production request to the iPS management server 300 when the first condition is satisfied is as follows.
- iPS cells are prepared, and the genomic sequence of the prepared iPS cells is examined, or a cell test using a pathological screening model using the prepared iPS cells (a test for screening the susceptibility to disease using cells).
- a pathological screening model using the prepared iPS cells a test for screening the susceptibility to disease using cells.
- iPS cells customers who are highly likely to use iPS cells (that is, customers who are found to be susceptible to illness as a result of iPS cell testing) are more likely to use iPS cells, so the amount of funding is higher than before.
- iPS cells are produced first at a stage where the production costs are not fully accumulated.
- it is necessary to accumulate the remaining amount, but at this time, based on the test results of the prepared iPS cells and the culture solution used for preparing the iPS cells, Allows changing the amount of the remaining funding month and the funding period. According to such processing, it is possible to prompt early accumulation for customers who are highly likely to use iPS cells.
- customers having similar iPS cell genome sequences can use common iPS cells. For this reason, when it is possible to prepare iPS cells first in a stage where all the costs for producing iPS cells have not been accumulated, and to share the prepared iPS cells with other customers, those customers. By sharing (for example, splitting) the subsequent funding between the customers, it is possible to reduce the amount required for each customer's funding or shorten the funding period. Details will be described in a second embodiment to be described later.
- the usage request transmission unit 203 requests the customer 10 to use the iPS cells when the accumulated deposit received by the reception unit 201 satisfies the second condition that is larger than the first condition or has a longer period. Is transmitted to the iPS management server 300.

- FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of specific information used in the processing sequence shown in FIG.
- step S301 the customer terminal 100 transmits application information 401 including an application request for the production of iPS cells of the customer 10.
- the application information 401 includes an application ID that uniquely identifies the application information, an application date, a customer ID that uniquely identifies the customer 10, information on the age of the customer 10, a history of the customer 10, and a history of the family of the customer 10. Interview information is included.
- the insurance management server 200 determines available conditions based on the application information 401. For example, it is assumed that the cost required for producing iPS cells is 5 million yen. Further, referring to the application information 401, the customer 10 is 20 years old, has no history, and has no family history, so it is considered that the possibility of using iPS cells in the future is low. On the other hand, depending on the customer 10, even if the necessity at the present time is low, there is a customer who desires to increase the speed of accumulation so that it can be used promptly in the event of an emergency. For this reason, as shown in the condition 402, the insurance management server 200 determines a condition in which the available range of the amount to be accumulated monthly is set as a usable reserve amount. Here, the amount that can be accumulated monthly ranges from 20,000 yen to 100,000 yen.
- step S303 the insurance management server 200 transmits the available conditions determined in step S302.
- step S304 the customer terminal 100 determines a specific reserve amount and reserve period included in the available conditions transmitted in step S303 based on an instruction input from the customer 10. In this example, it is assumed that the customer terminal 100 determines 20,000 yen as the reserve amount and 250 months as the reserve period as shown in the information 403 in FIG. If one of the reserve amount or the reserve period is determined, the other may be automatically determined.
- step S305 the customer terminal 100 transmits the reserve amount and reserve period determined in step S304.

- the iPS management server 300 records the scheduled production date and the scheduled usage date.
- the iPS management server 300 manages production schedule dates and the like of a plurality of customers. The day when the accumulated amount satisfies the first condition is recorded (reserved) in advance as the production date of the customer's iPS cells. Thereby, the production date of iPS cell can be secured in advance.
- a condition that can be used with reference to the inquiry information of the customer 10 for example, a reserve amount within the usable range
- the period and the period are transmitted to the customer terminal 100 and the amount and the period are determined within the usable range in the customer terminal.
- the insurance management server 200 determines a specific reserve amount and a reserve period, notifies the customer terminal 100, and determines whether the customer terminal 100 accepts the specific reserve amount and the reserve period.
- the configuration may be determined based on an instruction from 10.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing sequence performed at a predetermined timing after the processing sequence of the production application process illustrated in FIG. 3 is completed.
- the iPS management server 300 schedules collection of somatic cells and the like performed in the collection organization 40 that collects somatic cells and the like of the customer 10. - an inspection result obtained through a paper medium, a recording medium, or the like may be read.
- step S502 the insurance management server 200 changes available conditions. For example, when the test result of a somatic cell or the like is a test result that is highly likely to use iPS cells, the available reserve amount will be higher than before so that iPS cells can be used early. And set the available funding period to be shorter than before.
- the condition 602 shows an example in which the minimum amount that can be accumulated monthly is set higher than the condition 402.
- step S503 the insurance management server 200 transmits the changed usable condition to the customer terminal 100.

- step S507 the insurance management server 200 transmits information 605 including the changed production scheduled date and usage scheduled date to the iPS management server 300.
- step S508 the iPS management server 300 records the scheduled production date and the scheduled usage date.
- the process shown in FIG. 5 may be performed immediately after the process related to the production application shown in FIG. 3, or may be executed after a predetermined period has elapsed. Accordingly, accumulation may be started, and in this case, the scheduled production date, the scheduled utilization date, and the like can be determined in consideration of the already accumulated amount, period, and the like.
- the customer 10 continues to accumulate the set reserve until the first condition is satisfied.
- FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing sequence in a case where accumulation by the customer 10 is performed and the first condition is satisfied.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram showing an example of specific information used in the processing sequence shown in FIG.
- step S701 the insurance management server 200 determines that the first condition is satisfied. For example, as described above, when the reserve amount reaches half of the cost required for producing the iPS cells, the iPS of the customer 10 A cell production request is transmitted to the iPS management server 300.
- the iPS management server 300 outputs an iPS cell production instruction.
- the iPS management server 300 performs scheduling for transporting somatic cells and the like stored in the somatic cell storage 50 to the iPS cell production site 30.
- the somatic cells and the like conveyed to the iPS cell production site 30 according to this schedule are conveyed to a predetermined production device according to an instruction from the iPS management server 300, and iPS cells are produced.
- the iPS cells thus prepared are stored in, for example, the iPS cell storage 60.
- iPS cells are inspected by the inspection organization 70.
- the insurance management server 200 acquires the iPS cell test result 801.
- the insurance management server 200 may receive an inspection result from an information processing device (not shown) of the inspection organization 70, or receives the inspection result from the iPS management server 300 that has received the inspection result of the inspection organization 70.
- an inspection result obtained through a paper medium, a recording medium, or the like may be read.
- step S704 the insurance management server 200 changes available conditions. For example, if the test result of the iPS cell is a test result that is highly likely to use the iPS cell, the available reserve amount is set higher than before so that the iPS cell can be used at an early stage. Set the available funding period to be shorter than before.
- the condition 802 shows an example in which the minimum amount that can be accumulated monthly is set higher than the condition 402.
- step S705 the insurance management server 200 transmits the changed usable condition to the customer terminal 100.
- step S706 the customer terminal 100 determines a reserve amount and a reserve period included in the available conditions transmitted based on the instruction from the customer 10. For example, as shown in the information 803, a reserve amount and a reserve period are determined.
- step S707 the customer terminal 100 transmits information 803 including the determined reserve amount and reserve period to the insurance management server 200.
- step S708 the insurance management server 200 changes the scheduled use date based on the reserve amount and the reserve period transmitted from the customer terminal 100. For example, as shown in the information 804, the scheduled use date is changed earlier than before.

- step S901 when it is determined that the second condition is satisfied, for example, as described above, the insurance management server 200 has already been created when the accumulated amount reaches the amount of expenses required for producing iPS cells.
- the request for using the iPS cell of the customer 10 is transmitted to the iPS management server 300.
- the iPS management server 300 outputs the use permission of the created customer 10 for the iPS cells. For example, as described above, the iPS management server 300 performs scheduling for transporting iPS cells stored in the iPS cell storage 60 to the user organization 80. The iPS cells transferred to the user institution 80 according to this schedule are used for regenerative medicine or clinical research in the user institution 80.

- the withdrawal processing unit 1002 determines that the first customer X satisfies the second condition. A process of withdrawing at least a part of the deposit to the account of the third customer Y is performed. The customer Y already satisfies the second condition and is in a state where his / her own iPS cells can be used. At this time, when the customer X having similar genome information uses the iPS cell of the customer Y, the customer Y has already completed the accumulation. For this reason, at least a part of the reserve of the customer X is withdrawn to the account of the customer Y. That is, the customer Y can pay the amount corresponding to the usage fee.
- the account of the customer Y can be an arbitrary account designated by the customer Y.
- FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing sequence in the present embodiment.
- FIG. 11 shows that the test results of the cells of customer X and customer Y (including somatic cells, iPS cells, blood used for collecting somatic cells, and culture medium used for producing iPS cells) matched at a predetermined timing. It is a figure which shows an example of the processing sequence when it turns out.

例えば、HLA(Human Leukocyte Antigen:ヒト白血球型抗原)の型を利用することができる。
