본 발명은 리튬금속전지용 음극, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 리튬금속전지에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에 유전체층을 형성함으로써 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성을 방지할 수 있어, 리튬금속전지에 적용시 수명 특성과 전기화학적 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.

리튬금속전지용 음극, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 리튬금속전지
본 출원은 2016년 12월 28일자 한국 특허 출원 제10-2016-0180723호 및 2017년 12월 27일자 한국 특허 출원 제10-2017-0180971호에 기초한 우선권의 이익을 주장하며, 해당 한국 특허 출원의 문헌에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 명세서의 일부로서 포함한다.
본 발명은 리튬금속전지의 충·방전 중 발생되는 리튬 덴드라이트 형성과 성장을 방지할 수 있는 리튬금속전지용 음극, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 리튬금속전지에 관한 것이다.
리튬금속전지는 리튬이온전지와는 달리 음극재로서 리튬 금속을 사용하는 전지를 의미한다. 음극재로서 리튬 금속은 높은 이론 용량(3800 mAh/g)과 낮은 산화환원 전압(-3.040 V vs 표준 수소전압)을 가짐으로 인하여, 이상적인 음극재로 큰 기대를 받고 있으며, 실제로 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다.
하지만 리튬금속전지의 음극재로 사용되는 리튬 금속은 크게 두 가지 문제점을 가지고 있다.
첫째는 충·방전 중 리튬 금속 표면에 리튬 이온이 포집될 때, 덴드라이트(Dendrite) 형태로 성장하면서 최종적으로 양극재와 만나 단락을 일으키는 것이다. 이러한 단락은 급격한 에너지 손실과 더불어 극단적인 경우 폭발과 같은 안정성에 큰 문제점을 야기시킨다.
둘째는 낮은 효율(Columbic efficiency) 문제이다. 리튬 금속이 전해질에 노출되면서 전해질과 반응하여 고체성 전해질 인터페이스(Solid Electrolyte Interface, SEI)를 형성하는데, 지속적으로 형성되는 덴드라이트 형태의 성장으로 인해 노출되지 않은 리튬 금속이 지속적으로 전해질에 노출되어 반응함으로써 리튬이온을 소비하는 문제점이다.
이러한 두 문제점의 근본적인 원인인 덴드라이트 형성은 리튬 이온이 포집되는 리튬 금속 표면에서 일어나는 양이온과 음이온의 농도 구배 차이와 이로 인해 형성되는 매우 큰 전기장에 기인한다.
외부에서 가해진 전기장에 의해 음이온이 양극으로 집중되고, 반면 음극표면에 양이온이 쌓이게 되면서 음극표면에 음이온의 부족으로 인한 공간 전하(Space charge)가 형성되게 된다. 이렇게 형성된 공간 전하는 매우 큰 전기장을 음극의 표면에서 형성시킴으로써 음극의 표면의 불안정성과 최종적으로 덴드라이트 형태의 성장을 야기 시킨다.
따라서, 리튬금속전지의 안정성과 성능 향상을 위하여 충·방전시 리튬 금속으로 이루어진 음극에서 형성되는 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성과 성장을 방지할 수 있는 기술이 요구되고 있다.

본 발명자들은 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위해 다각적으로 연구를 수행한 결과, 리튬금속전지의 음극을 이루는 리튬 금속의 표면에 유전체 물질을 코팅할 경우 리튬 덴드라이트 형성 및 성장을 억제할 수 있다는 것을 확인하여 본 발명을 완성하였다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 표면이 유전체층으로 코팅되어 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장이 방지된 리튬 금속을 포함하는 리튬금속전지용 음극을 제공하는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 다른 목적은 표면이 유전체로 코팅되어 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장이 방지된 리튬 금속을 포함하는 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법을 제공하는 것이다.
또한, 본 발명의 또 다른 목적은 표면이 유전체로 코팅되어 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장이 방지된 리튬 금속을 포함하는 리튬금속전지용 음극을 포함하는 리튬금속전지를 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명은, 리튬 금속 및 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅된 유전체층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극을 제공한다.
이때, 상기 유전체층은 유전체 및 바인더를 포함할 수 있으며, 추가로 리튬염 및 가소재를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유전체는 BaTiO3, (Ba, Sr)TiO3, PbTiO3, LiNbO3, Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 및 무정형(Amorphous) V2O5로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 리튬금속전지용 음극은 집전체를 추가로 포함하되, 상기 리튬 금속은 상기 집전체 상에 위치하는 것일 수 있다.
상기 집전체는 Cu, SUS(Steel Use Stainless) 및 Ni로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종인 것일 수 있다.
본 발명은 또한, 상기 음극을 포함하는 리튬이차전지를 제공한다.
본 발명은 또한, (S1) 유전체, 바인더 및 용매를 혼합하여 슬러리를 형성하는 단계; (S2) 상기 슬러리를 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅하는 단계;및 (S3) 상기 표면 코팅된 리튬 금속을 건조시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법을 제공한다.
본 발명에 따른 리튬금속전지용 음극은 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅된 유전체층에 포함된 유전체로 인하여 리튬 금속의 표면에 형성되는 강한 전기장을 완화시킴으로써, 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장을 억제할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 유전체층이 고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태로 형성될 경우, 상기 고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 단일 이온 전도성 물질(single ionic conductor) 역할을 하여, 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장 억제 효과를 극대화할 수 있다.
이와 같이 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬금속전지용 음극에서 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장이 억제됨에 따라, 리튬금속전지의 수명과 전기화학적 성능이 향상될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 리튬금속전지는 이를 필요로 하는 산업, 예컨대, 휴대전화, 노트북 컴퓨터, 디지털 카메라 등의 휴대용 기기 및 하이브리드 전기자동차(hybrid electric vehicle, HEV) 등의 전기 자동차 분야에 광범위하게 사용 가능하다.
도 1은 실시예 1에서 제조된 유전체 물질(BaTiO3)을 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 음극 및 비교예 1의 리튬 금속 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 2는 실시예 2에서 제조된 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 음극 및 비교예 1의 리튬 금속 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 3은 실시예 2, 비교예 1 및 비교예 2에서 각각 제조된 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다.
이하, 본 발명에 대한 이해를 돕기 위하여 본 발명을 더욱 상세하게 설명한다.
본 명세서 및 청구범위에서 사용된 용어나 단어는 통상적이거나 사전적인 의미로 한정해서 해석되어서는 아니 되며, 발명자는 그 자신의 발명을 가장 최선의 방법으로 설명하기 위해 용어의 개념을 적절하게 정의할 수 있다는 원칙에 입각하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 부합하는 의미와 개념으로 해석되어야만 한다.
리튬금속전지용 음극
본 발명은 리튬 금속 및 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅된 유전체층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극을 제시한다.
일반적으로, 리튬금속전지에 있어서 리튬 금속 표면에서 리튬 덴드라이트가 형성되어 성장하는 원인은 리튬 금속 표면에 형성되는 강한 전기장 때문이다.
본 발명에 따른 유전체층에 포함된 유전체는 리튬 금속 표면에 형성되는 전기장에 대하여, 전기장의 세기를 완화시켜주는 방향으로 극성을 띠게 되고, 이로 인하여 전체 전기장을 완화시킴으로써 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장을 방지 또는 억제할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 전기장의 세기를 완화시켜주는 방향으로 극성을 띠는 유전체가 리튬 이온을 끌어당김으로써 리튬 이온의 증착도 고르게 할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 유전체층은 유전체 및 바인더를 포함할 수 있으며, 추가로, 리튬염 및 가소재를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 유전체층이 유전체, 바인더, 리튬염 및 가소재를 포함하는 경우는 유전체와 고분자 전해질이 혼합되어 형성된 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태일 수 있다.
상기 유전체는 BaTiO3, (Ba, Sr)TiO3, PbTiO3, LiNbO3, Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 및 무정형(Amorphous) V2O5로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니며, 강유전성 물질(Ferroelectric material), 상유전성 물질(Paraelectric material), 피로 전기성 물질(Pyroelectric material) 및 압전성 물질(Piezoelectric material)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 유전체가 광범위하게 사용될 수 있다.
상기 바인더는 유전체층을 이루는 구성 물질들의 가교 역할을 하여 실질적으로 유전체층이 형성되게 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 형성된 유전체층은 리튬금속전지의 수명성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
상기 바인더는 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드(polyvinylidene fluoride, PVDF), 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드-코-헥사플루오로 프로필렌(polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoro propylene, PVDF-HFP), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드(polyethylene oxide, PEO), 폴리아크릴로니트릴(polyacrylonitrile, PAN), 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(polymethyl methacrylate, PMMA) 및 폴리비닐클로라이드(polyvinyl chloride, PVC)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것일 수 있다.
상기 바인더는 상기 유전체 100 중량부에 대하여 5 내지 1000 중량부 포함될 수 있으며, 상기 바인더가 5 중량부 미만이면 유전체층의 기계적 강도가 저하될 수 있고, 1000 중량부 초과이면 이온 전도도가 감소하여 유전체층으로서의 역할이 저하될 수 있다.
또한, 상기 유전체층은 유전체, 바인더, 전해질염으로서 리튬염 및 가소재를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 상기 유전체층은 유전체와 고분자 전해질이 혼합되어 형성된 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스는 내부에 기공을 형성되어 있으며, 상기 매트릭스의 바디(body)는 젤고분자로 이루어진 형태이다.
상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태의 유전체층은 전술한 바와 같이 유전체가 전기장의 세기를 완화시켜 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장을 억제시키는 동시에, 상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 단일 이온 전도성 물질(single ionic conductor)의 역할을 하여 리튬 덴드라이트 형성 및 성장 억제 효과를 극대화시킬 수 있다.
특히, BaTiO3와 같은 유전체 입자를 고분자와 함께 필름을 형성하는 경우와, 비교하여, 내부에 기공이 형성된 젤고분자로 이루어진 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스는 기공뿐만 아니라 젤고분자 매트릭스 내부에 Li 이온의 풍부하게 포함되게 되므로, 충전시 발생하는 리튬 덴드라이트 억제 효능이 더욱 향상될 수 있다.
일반적으로, 단일 이온 전도성 물질이 리튬 금속의 표면에 존재할 경우, 리튬 덴드라이트가 형성되기 시작하는 시점을 무한히 늦출 수 있으므로, 상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태의 유전체층이 리튬 금속에 코팅될 경우, 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장을 억제할 수 있다.
상기 리튬염은 LiPF6, LiCIO4, LiBF4, LiAsF6 및 LiCF3SO3 로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니며, 고분자 전해질을 형성하기 위해 사용될 수 있는 리튬염이 광범위하게 사용될 수 있다.
상기 리튬염은 상기 유전체 100 중량부에 대하여 50 중량부 내지 100 중량부 포함될 수 있으며, 상기 리튬염이 50 중량부 미만이면 고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 형성될 수 없고, 100 중량부 초과이면 고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형성 후 잔여 리튬염의 양이 많아져 전지 성능을 저하시킬 수 있다.
상기 가소재는 에틸렌 카보네이트(ethylene carbonate, EC), 프로필렌 카보네이트(propylene carbonate, PC), 디메틸 카보네이트(dimethylcarbonate, DMC), 디에틸 카보네이트(diethylcarbonate, DEC), 디메톡시 에탄(dimethoxyethane, DME) 및 디에톡시 에탄(diethoxyethane, DEE)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것일 수 있다.
상기 가소재는 상기 유전체 100 중량부에 대하여 500 중량부 내지 1500 중량부 포함될 수 있으며, 상기 가소재가 500 중량부 미만이면 고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 형성될 수 없고, 1500 중량부 초과이면 고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형성 후 잔여 가소재의 양이 많아져 전지 성능을 저하시킬 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 리튬금속전지용 음극은 집전체를 더 포함할 수 있으며, 구체적으로, 상기 리튬금속전지용 음극은 집전체; 상기 집전체 상에 위치한 리튬 금속; 및 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅된 유전체층;을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 집전체는 Cu, SUS(Steel Use Stainless) 및 Ni로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니며, 리튬금속전지용 음극으로 적용 가능한 집전체가 광범위하게 사용될 수 있다.
리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법
본 발명은 또한, 전술한 바와 같은 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, (S1) 유전체, 바인더 및 용매를 혼합하여 슬러리를 형성하는 단계; (S2) 상기 슬러리를 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅하는 단계; 및 (S3) 상기 표면 코팅된 리튬 금속을 건조시키는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 (S1) 단계에서는 유전체층 제조를 위한 슬러리를 형성할 수 있다.
상기 유전체층 제조를 위한 슬러리는 유전체 및 바인더를 포함할 수도 있고, 추가로, 가소재 및 리튬염을 더 포함할 수도 있다. 이때, 상기 유전체, 바인더, 리튬염 및 가소재의 함량 및 구체예는 전술한 바와 같다.
또한, 상기 슬러리 형성시 사용되는 용매는 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, NMP), 아세톤(acetone), 에탄올(ethanol), 테트라 하이드로퓨란(tetrahydrofuran, THF), 디메틸 아세트아미드(dimethyl acetamide, DMAc) 및 톨루엔(toluene)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것일 수 있다.
상기 (S2) 단계에서는 상기 (S1) 단계에서 제조된 슬러리를 리튬 금속의 표면에 균일하게 코팅할 수 있다.
이때, 상기 코팅은 캐스팅(casting), 전기화학적 도포, 증착 및 스핀 코팅으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 방법으로 수행될 수 있으나, 상기 슬러리를 리튬 금속의 표면에 균일하게 코팅할 수 있는 방법이라면 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
상기 (S3) 단계에서는 상기 리튬 금속에 코팅된 슬러리를 건조시켜 유전체층을 형성할 수 있으며, 건조에 의해서 용매는 제거될 수 있다.
이때, 상기 유전체층은 50 내지 70 ℃ 온도 하에서 진공 건조시켜 형성될 수 있으며, 상기 진공 건조 온도가 50 ℃ 미만이면 용매의 건조가 완벽히 이루어질 수 없으며, 70 ℃ 초과이면 유전체층을 형성하는 물질, 예컨대, 가소재 등의 물성이 변할 수 있다.
리튬금속전지
본 발명은 또한, 전술한 바와 같은 리튬금속전지용 음극을 포함하는 리튬금속전지에 관한 것이다.
상기 리튬금속전지는 음극과 양극이 대향 배치되며, 그 사이에 전해질이 개재되며, 여기서, 상기 음극은 리튬 금속 및 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅된 유전체층을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 리튬금속전지용 음극에 있어서, 리튬 금속의 표면에 유전체를 포함하는 유전체층이 코팅됨으로 인하여, 충·방전시 상기 리튬 금속의 표면에서 리튬 양이온의 농도가 조절되며, 그 결과 공간전하 형성 문제를 완화시킴으로써 상기 음극에서 큰 전기장이 생기는 것을 방지하여 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장을 막을 수 있다.
또한, 상기 유전체층이 유전체, 리튬염 및 가소재를 포함하는 고분자 전해질 매트릭스 형태일 경우, 상기 고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 단일 이온 전도성 물질과 같은 역할을 하여 리튬 덴드라이트 형성 및 성장 억제 효과가 극대화될 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명에 따른 리튬금속전지는 리튬 덴드라이트의 형성 및 성장이 방지됨으로 인하여 수명 및 전기화학적 성능이 향상될 수 있다.
이하 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위하여 바람직한 실시예를 제시하나, 하기 실시예는 본 발명을 예시하는 것일 뿐 본 발명의 범주 및 기술사상 범위 내에서 다양한 변경 및 수정이 가능함은 당업자에게 있어서 명백한 것이며, 이러한 변경 및 수정이 첨부된 특허청구범위에 속하는 것도 당연한 것이다.
하기 실시예 및 비교예에서는 하기 표 1에 기재된 바와 같은 조성에 따라 음극을 제조하였다.

실시예 1: 유전체를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극 제조
1-1.슬러리 제조
유전체, 바인더 및 용매를 혼합하여 슬러리를 제조하되, 상기 유전체는 BaTiO3, 바인더는 PVDF(polyvinylidene fluoride), 용매는 NMP(N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone)를 사용하였다.
1-2.슬러리 코팅
상기 슬러리를 리튬 금속 표면에 캐스팅 방법을 이용하여 균일하게 도포하였다.
1-3.건조
상기 슬러리가 도포된 리튬 금속을 60 ℃에서 진공 건조하여, 리튬 금속의 표면에 유전체층을 형성하여, 음극을 제조하였다.
실시예 2: 유전체 및 고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극 제조
2-1.슬러리 제조
유전체, 바인더, 리튬염, 가소재 및 용매를 혼합하여 슬러리를 제조하되, 상기 유전체는 BaTiO3, 바인더는 PVDF-HFP(polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoro propylene), 리튬염은 LiPF6, 가소재는 EC와 PC의 혼합물인 EC/PC(ethylene carbonate/propylene carbonate), 프로필렌 카보네이트(propylene carbonate, PC) 용매는 NMP(N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone)를 사용하였다.
구체적으로, 상기 PVDF-HF를 THF에 넣고 혼합하여 혼합물을 제조하고, 상기 혼합물에 상기 EC/PC를 첨가하되 상기 EC와 PC는 동일한 중량비로 첨가하였으며, 상기 BaTiO3를 혼합하여, 유전체와 고분자 전해질이 혼합되어 형성된 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 제조하였다.
2-2.슬러리 코팅
상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 리튬 금속 표면에 코팅하되, 스핀코팅 방법을 이용하여 균일하게 코팅하였다.
2-3.건조
상기 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스가 코팅된 리튬 금속을 60 ℃에서 진공 건조하여, 리튬 금속의 표면에 유전체층을 형성하여, 음극을 제조하였다.
비교예 1: 리튬 금속 음극 제조
표면에 유전체층이 코팅되지 않은 리튬 금속 음극을 준비하였다.
비교예 2: 유전체 및 고분자 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극 제조
실시예 2와 동일하게 실시하되, 리튬염을 사용하지 않고, 금속 표면에 유전체-고분자 매트릭스를 코팅하여 음극을 제조하였다.
실험예 1: 수명 성능 평가 실험
실시예 1 및 2에서 각각 제조된 음극에 대하여 1 ㎃/㎠ 의 전류 밀도로 3시간 단위로 충전 및 방전을 실시하여 수명 성능을 평가하였다.
도 1은 실시예 1에서 제조된 유전체 물질(BaTiO3)을 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극 및 비교예 1의 리튬 금속 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다. 이때, 수명 성능은 1 mA/㎠ 의 전류밀도로 3시간 단위로 충전 및 방전을 실시하여 평가하였다.
도 1을 참조하면, 실시예 1의 유전체 물질(BaTiO3)을 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 음극은 비교예 1의 유전체층을 포함하지 않는 리튬 금속 음극에 비해 수명 성능이 향상된 것으로 나타났다.
도 2는 실시예 2에서 제조된 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극 및 비교예 1의 리튬 금속 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다. 이때, 수명 성능은 1 mA/㎠ 의 전류밀도로 1.5시간 단위로 충전 및 방전을 실시하여 평가하였다.
도 2를 참조하면, 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층을 포함하는 리튬 금속 음극은 비교예 1의 유전체층을 포함하지 않는 리튬 금속 음극에 비해 향상된 수명 성능 및 전기화학적 성능을 보이는 것을 알 수 있다.
도 3은 실시예 2, 비교예 1 및 비교예 2에서 각각 제조된 음극의 수명 성능 평가 결과를 나타낸 그래프이다. 이때, 수명 성능은 1 mA/㎠ 의 전류밀도로 3시간 단위로 충전 및 방전을 실시하여 평가하였다.
도 3을 참조하면, 실시예 2의 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스를 포함하는 유전체층이 형성된 리튬 금속 음극의 수명 성능이 안정적으로 향상된 것을 알 수 있다.
특히, 실시예 2 및 비교예 2를 비교하면, 실시예 2는 음극이 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스로 코팅되고, 비교예 2는 유전체-고분자 매트릭스로 코팅되어, 유전체-고분자 전해질 매트릭스로 코팅된 음극인 실시예 2의 경우 수명 성능 향상된 것을 알 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권리범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 다음의 청구범위에서 정의하고 있는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 여러 변형 및 개량 형태 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속하는 것이다.

    상기 유전체는 BaTiO3, (Ba, Sr)TiO3, PbTiO3, LiNbO3, Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 및 무정형 V2O5로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  5. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 바인더는 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드(polyvinylidene fluoride, PVDF), 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드-코-헥사플루오로 프로필렌(polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoro propylene, PVDF-HFP), 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드(polyethylene oxide, PEO), 폴리아크릴로니트릴(polyacrylonitrile, PAN), 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(polymethyl methacrylate, PMMA) 및 폴리비닐클로라이드(polyvinyl chloride, PVC)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  6. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 유전체층은 전해질염으로서 리튬염 및 가소재를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  7. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 유전체층은 유전체 100 중량부에 대하여 리튬염 50 내지 150 중량부 및 가소재 500 내지 1500 중량부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  8. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 리튬염은 LiPF6, LiCIO4, LiBF4, LiAsF6 및 LiCF3SO3 로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  9. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 가소재는 에틸렌 카보네이트(ethylene carbonate, EC), 프로필렌 카보네이트(propylene carbonate, PC), 디메틸 카보네이트(dimethylcarbonate, DMC), 디에틸 카보네이트(diethylcarbonate, DEC), 디메톡시 에탄(dimethoxyethane, DME) 및 디에톡시 에탄(diethoxyethane, DEE)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  10. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 리튬금속전지용 음극은 집전체를 추가로 포함하되,
    상기 리튬 금속은 상기 집전체 상에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
    상기 집전체는 Cu, SUS(Steel Use Stainless) 및 Ni로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극.
  12. 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항의 음극을 포함하는 리튬금속전지.
  13. (S1) 유전체, 바인더 및 용매를 혼합하여 슬러리를 형성하는 단계;
    (S2) 상기 슬러리를 리튬 금속의 표면에 코팅하는 단계; 및
    (S3) 상기 표면 코팅된 리튬 금속을 건조시키는 단계;
    를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서,
    상기 용매는 N-메틸-2-피롤리돈(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, NMP), 아세톤(acetone), 에탄올(ethanol), 테트라 하이드로퓨란(tetrahydrofuran, THF), 디메틸 아세트아미드(dimethyl acetamide, DMAc) 및 톨루엔(Toluene)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법.
  15. 제13항에 있어서,
    상기 슬러리는 가소재 및 리튬염을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬금속전지용 음극의 제조방법.
