Definitions
- the present invention relates to a drug and a food that can suppress the onset of the entire disease by ingesting continuously.
- the average life expectancy of Japanese people in 2014 is 86.83 years for females and 80.50 years for males, both of which have reached record highs and may continue to grow as medical technology improves and health-consciousness grows. There is.
- a period in which daily life can be lived without being restricted due to health problems is called a healthy life span. If the unhealthy period, which is the difference between the average life expectancy and the healthy life expectancy, increases with the aging of the population, problems such as an increase in medical expenses and care costs due to the disease, and an increase in the burden on the patient's family arise. Therefore, extending the healthy life span is an issue in order to suppress an increase in medical expenses and prevent a decrease in the quality of personal life.
- Eye diseases are diseases that occur in the eyes that control vision, and include various diseases with different causes and symptoms. For example, cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, fundus hemorrhage, flying mosquito disease and the like can be mentioned.
- Cataract is a disease in which the lens becomes cloudy, and causes include aging, congenital causes, trauma, atopy, drugs and radiation, and other eye diseases.
- cataracts light is scattered by the crystalline lens, and thus symptoms such as blurred vision, double-looking objects, dazzling appearance, and decreased visual acuity.
- eye drop treatment for the purpose of suppressing progression is performed, but when cataract progresses, treatment by surgical operation is common.
- Glaucoma is a disease in which the optic nerve is damaged, and is frequently seen in middle-aged and elderly people. Usually, the optic nerve damage can be improved or suppressed by sufficiently lowering the intraocular pressure. Symptoms of glaucoma are generally invisible places and narrow vision, and when they progress, they cause vision loss and also blindness. Glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness in Japan. Since the damaged optic nerve cannot be recovered once, the treatment of glaucoma is aimed at stopping or suppressing the progression, and the therapeutic methods include drug therapy, laser treatment, and surgical operation.
- Age-related macular degeneration is a disease that causes damage to the macular, which is the central part of the retina due to aging. When the macular is disturbed, the central part of the visual field appears distorted, the central part of the visual field becomes invisible, visual acuity is reduced, and blindness occurs.
- Therapeutic methods such as drug treatment, photodynamic therapy, laser coagulation, and surgical operation have been taken, and in recent years, age-related macular degeneration treatment in which retinal pigment epithelial cell sheets prepared from iPS cells (artificial pluripotent stem cells) are transplanted Clinical trials are being conducted.
- ⁇ Flying mosquito disease is a symptom that looks like dust and insects flying in the field of view. In most cases, it is due to physiological changes such as aging and no treatment is required, but in the case of diseases such as retinal detachment, treatment is necessary.
- Fundus hemorrhage is retinal hemorrhage caused by rupture or occlusion of blood vessels on the surface of the retina due to diseases such as diabetes and retinal vein occlusion and trauma.
- the main symptoms are decreased visual acuity, flying mosquito disease, etc.
- decreased visual acuity occurs.
- fundus hemorrhage due to systemic disease it is important to treat the causative disease, and in addition, drug treatment and laser treatment are also performed.
- Humans have a function of sensing changes in the direction of body movement and gravity, called equilibrium.
- the balance of the body is maintained by integrating three types of sensory information of vestibular sensation, vision, and deep sensation in the central nervous system, and outputting motor information based on these information to the limb trunk muscles and the like.
- ⁇ Diseases that cause any abnormality in various organs of the body that work cooperatively to maintain the balance sensation and the balance sensation is impaired are collectively referred to as equilibrium sensation diseases.
- Possible causes of balanced sensory disease include disorders of the vestibular organ, which is a receptor for vestibular sensations, and vestibular nerves, which are transmission pathways, and abnormalities in the central nervous system such as the brainstem and cerebellum. Specific examples include vertigo syndrome and Meniere's disease.
- Vertigo syndrome refers to dizziness such as rotational dizziness that seems to move around, floating dizziness that makes the body fluffy, and fluffy feeling, but the cause of dizziness is not clearly identified
- Meniere's disease is a disease caused by endolymphatic hydrops in the inner ear, causing severe rotational dizziness and symptoms of hearing loss, tinnitus, and ear closure, which are repeated. Treatment is basically pharmacotherapy, and surgery may be performed for intractable or severe cases.
- the prevention of balanced sensory illness may include improvement of lifestyle habits such as exercise, but there is no known method to suppress the development of balanced sensual disease with different causes and symptoms. There is a demand for a method for suppressing the above in a simpler manner.

Abstract
