Un moteur est équipé : d'un arbre qui tourne autour d'un axe central s'étendant dans la direction verticale ; d'un palier permettant de supporter l'extrémité supérieure de l'arbre ; d'un dissipateur thermique métallique permettant de maintenir directement ou indirectement le palier ; d'un substrat disposé sur le côté supérieur du dissipateur thermique ; d'un aimant de capteur fixé à l'arbre au niveau de l'extrémité supérieure de l'arbre au-dessus du palier ; d'un capteur de rotation monté dans une position chevauchant l'aimant de capteur du substrat vu depuis la direction axiale ; et d'un matériau de dissipation thermique positionné entre le substrat et le dissipateur thermique, le dissipateur thermique étant pourvu d'un trou traversant passant dans la direction verticale, le palier et l'aimant de capteur étant logés dans le trou traversant, et un couvercle recouvrant au moins une partie de l'ouverture sur le côté supérieur du trou traversant étant fixé au dissipateur thermique.
