Abstract
Description
このうちのヘッドは、自身の中心軸を中心とする回転駆動を可能とされている。
又、前記加工用ロールは、自身の中心軸を前記ヘッドの中心軸に対して傾斜させた状態で、このヘッドに対し、自身の中心軸を中心とする回転を可能に支持されている。
この様な揺動鍛造装置の使用時には、前記加工用ロールをワークに押し付けた状態で、前記ヘッドを、このヘッドの中心軸を中心として回転駆動する事により、前記加工用ロールを、このヘッドの中心軸を中心として回転させると共に、この加工用ロールの中心軸を中心として回転させる。
このうちの検査用ツールは、前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記加工用ロールが支持されていない状態での前記ヘッドに対して、この加工用ロールと実質的に同じ条件で支持されると共に、自身の中心軸線上にレーザ光線を発射可能な機能を有する。
又、前記レーザ照射面は、前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記ヘッドの軸方向に関するこのヘッドとの相対位置を変化可能に、且つ、前記レーザ光線を照射可能に設置される。
尚、この様な検査方法を実施する場合に、前記照射位置の軌跡は、作業者が目視で検知しても良いし、前記センサにより検知しても良い。又、前記最小の半径となった軌跡の位置を求める作業は、作業者が行っても良いし、前記演算器が行っても良い。

即ち、本発明によれば、レーザ照射面に対するレーザ光線の照射位置の軌跡を利用して、検査用ツールの揺動中心の位置や、この検査用ツールの中心軸の傾斜角を求める事ができるが、この検査用ツールは、前記加工用ロールが支持されていない状態でのヘッドに対して、この加工用ロールと実質的に同じ条件で支持されている。この為、上述の様に求めた、前記検査用ツールの揺動中心の位置及び中心軸の傾斜角を、完成後の揺動鍛造装置を構成する前記加工用ロールの揺動中心の位置及び中心軸の傾斜角と精度良く推定する事ができる。
又、前記検査用ツールに所定の荷重(例えば、前記加工用ロールによりワークを加工する際に、この加工用ロールに加わる荷重Fα)を加えながら、前記検査用ツールの揺動中心の位置及び中心軸の傾斜角を求めれば、この様に求めた検査用ツールの揺動中心の位置及び中心軸の傾斜角を、前記所定の荷重が加わった状態での(例えば、この所定の荷重が前記Fαである場合には、前記ワークの成形中の)前記加工用ロールの揺動中心の位置及び中心軸の傾斜角と精度良く推定する事ができる。
本発明の実施の形態の1例について、図1~7により説明する。
この揺動鍛造装置は、前述の図8に示した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットのかしめ部9を形成可能である。揺動鍛造装置は、基台10と、支持コラム11と、ホルダ12と、ヘッド13と、ヘッド駆動手段14と、加工用ロール15とを備える。
本例の場合、センサは、CCD、CMOS等の平面的なイメージセンサであり、レーザ照射面27に対するレーザ光線BLの照射位置を、このレーザ照射面27上のX-Y座標で取得可能である。
なお、揺動中心PAは、ヘッド13の中心軸αと検査用ツール25の中心軸βAとの交点である。また、揺動中心PAの位置は、揺動鍛造装置に設定された座標系に於ける位置であり、本例の場合には、基準面34からの高さZの位置である。

Claims (11)
- 自身の中心軸を中心とする回転駆動を可能とされたヘッドと、
自身の中心軸を前記ヘッドの前記中心軸に対して傾斜させた状態で、前記ヘッドに対し、前記自身の前記中心軸を中心とする回転を可能に支持された加工用ロールと、
を備えた揺動鍛造装置の検査装置であって、
前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記加工用ロールが支持されていない状態での前記ヘッドに対して、前記加工用ロールと実質的に同じ条件で支持されると共に、自身の中心軸線上にレーザ光線を発射可能な機能を有する検査用ツールと、
前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記ヘッドの軸方向に関する前記ヘッドとの相対位置を変化可能に、且つ、前記レーザ光線を照射可能に設置されるレーザ照射面と、
を備えている揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。 - 前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記レーザ照射面に対する前記レーザ光線の照射位置を検知可能に設置されるセンサを備えている、請求項1に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。
- 前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、
前記ヘッドを自身の中心軸を中心として回転駆動しつつ、前記検査用ツールから前記検査用ツールの中心軸線上に発射したレーザ光線を前記レーザ照射面に照射した状態で、
前記ヘッドの軸方向に関する前記ヘッドと前記レーザ照射面との相対位置を変化させる事により、前記レーザ照射面に対する前記レーザ光線の照射位置の軌跡の半径を変化させ、
前記半径が最小となった場合に、前記センサの検知信号に基づいて、前記揺動鍛造装置に設定された座標系に於ける前記最小の半径となった軌跡の位置を求める機能
を有する演算器を備えている、請求項2に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。 - 前記最小の半径となった軌跡の位置を、前記加工用ロールが前記ヘッドに支持された状態における前記加工用ロールの揺動中心の位置であると推定する、請求項3に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。
- 前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、
前記ヘッドを自身の中心軸を中心として回転駆動しつつ、前記検査用ツールから前記検査用ツールの中心軸線上に発射したレーザ光線を前記レーザ照射面に照射した状態で、
前記ヘッドの軸方向に関する前記ヘッドと前記レーザ照射面との相対位置を変化させる事により、前記レーザ照射面に対する前記レーザ光線の照射位置の軌跡を変化させた場合に、
前記相対位置が変化量△Lだけ変化した場合の、前記照射位置の軌跡の半径の変化量△Rを、前記センサの検知信号に基づいて求めると共に、前記変化量△L、△Rを利用して、前記ヘッドの中心軸に対する前記検査用ツールの中心軸の傾斜角を求める機能
を有する演算器を備えている、請求項2~4のうちの何れか1項に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。 - 前記ヘッドの中心軸に対する前記検査用ツールの中心軸の傾斜角を、前記加工用ロールが前記ヘッドに支持された状態における前記ヘッドの中心軸に対する前記加工用ロールの中心軸の傾斜角であると推定する、請求項5に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置。
- 自身の中心軸を中心とする回転駆動を可能とされたヘッドと、
自身の中心軸を前記ヘッドの中心軸に対して傾斜させた状態で、前記ヘッドに対し、自身の中心軸を中心とする回転を可能に支持された加工用ロールと、
を備えた揺動鍛造装置の検査用ツールであって、
前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、前記加工用ロールが支持されていない状態での前記ヘッドに対して、前記加工用ロールと実質的に同じ条件で支持されると共に、自身の中心軸線上にレーザ光線を発射可能な機能を有する、
揺動鍛造装置の検査用ツール。 - 請求項1~4のうちの何れか1項に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置を使用して、前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、
前記ヘッドを自身の中心軸を中心として回転駆動しつつ、前記検査用ツールから前記検査用ツールの中心軸線上に発射したレーザ光線を前記レーザ照射面に照射した状態で、
前記ヘッドの軸方向に関する前記ヘッドと前記レーザ照射面との相対位置を変化させる事により、前記レーザ照射面に対する前記レーザ光線の照射位置の軌跡の半径を変化させる事で、前記半径を最小にし、
前記揺動鍛造装置に設定された座標系に於ける前記最小の半径となった軌跡の位置を求める、揺動鍛造装置の検査方法。 - 請求項1~6のうちの何れか1項に記載した揺動鍛造装置の検査装置を使用して、前記揺動鍛造装置の検査を行う際に、
前記ヘッドを自身の中心軸を中心として回転駆動しつつ、前記検査用ツールから前記検査用ツールの中心軸線上に発射したレーザ光線を前記レーザ照射面に照射した状態で、
前記ヘッドの軸方向に関する前記ヘッドと前記レーザ照射面との相対位置を変化させる事により、前記レーザ照射面に対する前記レーザ光線の照射位置の軌跡を変化させる事で、前記相対位置が変化量△Lだけ変化した場合の、前記照射位置の軌跡の半径の変化量△Rを求めると共に、前記変化量△L、△Rを利用して、前記ヘッドの中心軸に対する前記検査用ツールの中心軸の傾斜角を求める、揺動鍛造装置の検査方法。 - 内周面に複列の外輪軌道が設けられた外輪と、
外周面に複列の内輪軌道が設けられたハブと、
前記複列の外輪軌道と前記複列内輪軌道との間に設けられた複数の転動体と、
を備え、
前記ハブは、外周面の軸方向一方側に前記内輪軌道が直接形成されたハブ本体と、外周面の軸方向他方側に前記内輪軌道が直接形成された内輪と、を互いに結合して成り、
前記ハブ本体の軸方向他方側には、前記内輪が外嵌され、
前記ハブ本体の軸方向他端部に設けられた円筒部が径方向外方に塑性変形させて成るかしめ部により、前記内輪の軸方向端面が抑え付けられる

この状態で、前記ヘッドを、前記ヘッドの中心軸を中心として回転駆動する事により、前記加工用ロールを、前記ヘッドの中心軸を中心として公転可能である共に、前記加工用ロールの中心軸を中心として回転可能であり、
前記ハブ本体の前記円筒部を径方向一方に塑性変形させて、前記かしめ部を形成可能である。 - 内周面に複列の外輪軌道が設けられた外輪と、
外周面に複列の内輪軌道が設けられたハブと、
前記複列の外輪軌道と前記複列内輪軌道との間に設けられた複数の転動体と、
を備え、

前記ハブ本体の中心軸を前記ヘッドの前記中心軸に一致させた状態で、前記加工用ロールを、前記円筒部の軸方向他端部の円周方向一部分に押し付ける工程と、
この状態で、前記ヘッドを、前記ヘッドの中心軸を中心として回転駆動する事により、前記加工用ロールを、前記ヘッドの中心軸を中心として公転させると共に、前記加工用ロールの中心軸を中心として回転させる工程と、
前記ハブ本体の前記円筒部を径方向一方に塑性変形させて、前記かしめ部を形成する工程と、
を含む。
