Abstract
複数の車両の協調走行をよりスムーズに行わせることができる車車間通信装置を提供する。 自車(1)に搭載される車車間通信装置(60)は、自車情報記憶部(68)、受信部(62)、仮定情報生成部(64)、出力制御部(65)を有する。自車情報記憶部(68)は、自車(1)の車幅(W1)に関連する車幅情報と自車(1)の車両の位置に関連する位置情報とを含む自車(1)の車両情報を記憶する。受信部(62)は、車車間通信可能な他車(102、103、104、106)の送信部(163a、163b、163c、163e)から送信された他車の車両情報を受信する。仮定情報生成部(64)は、車両情報に基づいて、条件(A)(B)を満たすと判定した複数のスリム車両を1台の仮定車両(109)とみなす。条件(A)は、自車(1)と同じ走行方向のレーン(100)を走行する他車および自車(1)に複数のスリム車両を含むことである。条件(B)は、複数のスリム車両(1、102、103)を相互に結んだ領域(L12、L13、L23)内にワイド車両(104)を含まないことである。仮定情報生成部(64)は、仮定車両(109)の仮定情報を、仮定車両(109)とみなした複数のスリム車両(1、102、103)の車両情報から生成する。出力制御部(65)は、仮定情報を出力する。
