特定構造を有する4官能シラン系化合物〔成分(A)〕の加水分解物及び特定構造を有する3官能シラン系化合物〔成分(B)〕の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を配合してなる防汚性組成物溶液に関する。

Description

防汚性組成物溶液、及びその製造方法
 本発明は、防汚性組成物溶液、及びその製造方法に関する。
 一般に、建築用窓ガラス、自動車用窓ガラス、車両、航空機、船舶等の風防ガラス、水槽、船底窓、船底への海中生物付着防止用フィルム、防音壁等の道路用パネル、浴室等に設置された鏡、ガラス容器、ガラス装飾品等の成形品の表面には、水滴、傷、汚れ等の視界を妨げるものが付着しないことが望まれる。
 このような成形品の表面に対して、防汚性物質からなる皮膜で被覆することで、若しくは、防汚性シートを貼付することで、撥水性等の防汚性を付与することが行われている。
 例えば、特許文献1には、無機化合物より形成されてなる下地層と、当該下地層の表面を被覆し、フッ素含有化合物より形成されてなる撥水膜とを有する積層体によって、ガラス等の基材を被覆した撥水膜被覆物品が開示されている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1に記載の撥水性被覆物品は、フッ素含有化合物から形成されてなる撥水膜を有するため、環境保護の観点からは好ましくない。
 そこで、より環境への負荷が少ない防汚性材料が求められている。
 本発明は、可使時間(ポットライフ)が長い防汚性組成物溶液、及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは、特定構造の4官能シラン系化合物の加水分解物及び特定構造を有する3官能シラン系化合物の加水分解物に、金属触媒及び水を配合してなる防汚性組成物溶液が、前記課題を解決し得ることを見出し、本発明を完成させた。
 すなわち、本発明は、下記[1]~[15]を提供する。
[1]下記成分(A)の加水分解物及び下記成分(B)の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を配合してなる防汚性組成物溶液。
成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物

[3]成分(B)が、下記成分(B-2)を少なくとも1種含む、前記[1]又は[2]に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。

条件(II):成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の合計配合量に対する成分(B-1)の配合量の比〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)が、0.020以上
[5]更に、下記条件(I)を満たす、前記[1]~[4]のいずれかに記載の防汚性組成物溶液。

 本発明によれば、可使時間(ポットライフ)が長い防汚性組成物溶液、及びその製造方法を提供し得る。

[防汚性組成物溶液]
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物〔成分(A)〕の加水分解物及び一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物〔成分(B)〕の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を配合してなる防汚性組成物溶液である。
 なお、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、これらの成分以外に、後述する酸触媒(C)を含有してもよく、そして、これら成分以外のその他の添加剤を含有してもよい。
 防汚層が形成される際、はじめに、防汚性組成物中の成分(A)及び成分(B)中のアルコキシ基(一般式(a)中のOR、及び一般式(b)中のOR)が加水分解されて、未縮合のシラノール基を有する成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物が生成する。
 次に、これらの加水分解物中のシラノール基同士が縮合反応して重合体となることにより、当該防汚性組成物から形成された塗膜が硬化して防汚層が形成される。
 ここで、前段の成分(A)及び成分(B)の加水分解反応を促進するために、後述する酸触媒(C)を用いることが好ましい。
 そして、後段の縮合反応を促進するために、金属触媒(D)を用いることで、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を十分に向上させることが可能となる。
 このように、該防汚性組成物溶液では金属触媒(D)を用いて短時間での優れた硬化性を実現できる。
 その一方で、当該防汚性組成物溶液を調製後、長時間保存した後に硬化させた場合に、その硬化性が低下してしまい、十分な硬化性が得られないことがある。
 したがって、可使時間(「ポットライフ」ともいう。)の長い防汚性組成物溶液を得るという観点で、当該防汚性組成物溶液については、更に検討の余地があった。
 このような硬化性の低下は、次の理由によって発生するものと推測される。
 前述のとおり、防汚性組成物の硬化反応は、前段の加水分解反応及び後段の縮合反応の2段階で反応が進行している。防汚性組成物溶液を調製後、加熱等により硬化を促進させずに長時間保存した場合には、既に後段の縮合反応が進行し、主にポリマー又はオリゴマーが多く生成してしまっていると考えられる。そのため、その後の加熱処理によって3次元架橋構造を得ようとした際に、架橋反応に必要なシラノール基が十分に存在しておらず、良好な硬化性が得られないものと推測される。
 一方で、前段の加水分解反応を十分に進行できていない場合にも、同様に十分な硬化性が得られないものと推測される。
 そこで、本発明者らは、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性をコントロールするため、成分(A)と成分(B)との加水分解反応を十分に進行させたうえで、最終的な硬化反応を行うまでの間、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物が有するシラノール基同士の縮合反応を抑制させることに着目した。
 そして、本発明者らは、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に対して、更に、水(E)を添加することによって、効果的にシラノール基同士の縮合反応を抑制できると推測し検討を行った。
 その結果、より可使時間が長い防汚性組成物溶液が得られることを見出し、本発明を完成させたものである。
 また、後述するように、本明細書で、「水(E)」とは、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物が存在する系に対して、後から配合される水のことをいう。
 ここで、例えば、成分(A)及び成分(B)を加水分解するために予め混合される水や、酸触媒(C)を希釈するために用いる水の量を増加させても、後述する比較例に示すとおり、本願の効果は得られにくい。
 また、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に対して、金属触媒(D)を配合して、水(E)を配合しない場合も、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物中のシラノール基同士の縮合反応が促進されてしまい、防汚性組成物溶液の可使時間が短くなってしまう。
 したがって、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に対して、当該水(E)を更に混合することによって、本発明の優れた効果が得られる。その理由は定かではないが、次のように推測される。
 成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物が有するシラノール基同士の縮合反応は平衡反応であり、当該縮合反応により水が生成する。すなわち、当該縮合反応は脱水縮合である。したがって、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に対して、後から配合される水(E)の存在により、平衡反応である前記縮合反応(脱水縮合)の進行が抑制されているものと推測される。
 以下、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液に含まれる各成分について説明する。
<成分(A)の加水分解物>
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、後述する成分(A)の加水分解物を含む。成分(A)の加水分解物は、成分(A)中のアルコキシ基が加水分解されたものであって、その分子構造中にシラノール基を有する。
(成分(A):一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物)
 前記成分(A)は、次の一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物である。
 Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
 一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは4以下、より好ましくは3以下、更に好ましくは2以下である。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n-ブチル基、sec-ブチル基、イソブチル基、tert-ブチル基、n-ペンチル基、n-ヘキシル基、ネオペンチル基、メチルペンチル基等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、より良好な硬化性を得る観点から、メチル基、エチル基、又はn-プロピル基が好ましく、メチル基又はエチル基がより好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基は、直鎖及び分岐鎖のいずれであってもよいが、直鎖であることが好ましい。
 Xとして選択し得るハロゲン原子としては、塩素原子、臭素原子、又はヨウ素原子が好ましく、塩素原子がより好ましい。
 なお、前記一般式(a)で表されるシラン系化合物は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、成分(A)としては、前記一般式(a)中のpが4であるシラン系化合物を含むことが好ましい。
<成分(B)の加水分解物>
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、前記成分(A)の加水分解物と共に、成分(B)の加水分解物を含む。成分(B)の加水分解物は、成分(B)中のアルコキシ基が加水分解されたものであって、その分子構造中にシラノール基を有する。
(成分(B):一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物)
 成分(B)は、次の一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物である。
 RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
 一般式(b)中、Rは、炭素数1~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。qは0~3の整数を表す。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数は1~24である。
 当該アルキル基の炭素数が24を超えると、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性が劣る。また、当該アルキル基の炭素数が増加するほど、防汚性組成物溶液がゲル化し易く、当該防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態も悪化する傾向にある。このような観点から、当該アルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは22以下、より好ましくは20以下、更に好ましくは18以下である。
 なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数には、当該アルキル基が有してもよい任意の置換基の炭素数は含まれない。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、n-ブチル基、n-ペンチル基、n-ヘキシル基、n-ヘプチル基、n-オクチル基、n-ノニル基、n-デシル基、n-ウンデシル基、n-ドデシル基、n-トリデシル基、n-テトラデシル基、n-ペンタデシル基、n-ヘキサデシル基、n-ヘプタデシル基、n-オクタデシル基、n-ノナデシル基、n-イコシル基、n-ヘンイコシル基、n-ドコシル基、n-トリコシル基、n-テトラコシル基、イソプロピル基、イソブチル基、sec-ブチル基、tert-ブチル基、イソペンチル基、ネオペンチル基、tert-ペンチル基、メチルペンチル基、イソへキシル基、ペンチルヘキシル基、ブチルペンチル基、及び2-エチルヘキシル基等が挙げられる。
 なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、直鎖又は分岐鎖のいずれであってもよいが、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態を向上させる観点から、直鎖であることが好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基は、置換基を有していてもよい。
 このような置換基としては、例えば、塩素原子、臭素原子、ヨウ素原子等のハロゲン原子;ヒドロキシル基;ニトロ基;アミノ基;シアノ基;メルカプト基;エポキシ基;グリシドキシ基;アクリロイルオキシ基;メタクリロイルオキシ基;環形成炭素数3~12(好ましくは環形成炭素数6~10)のシクロアルキル基;環形成炭素数6~12のアリール基;窒素原子、酸素原子、及び硫黄原子から選ばれるヘテロ原子を含む環形成原子数6~12のヘテロアリール基;炭素数1~6(好ましくは炭素数1~3)のアルコキシ基;環形成炭素数6~12のアリールオキシ基等が挙げられ、これらの置換基は更に置換されていてもよい。
 ただし、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、置換基を有していないアルキル基であることが好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基、及びXとして選択し得るハロゲン原子としては、前述の一般式(a)中のRとして選択し得るアルキル基、Xとして選択し得るハロゲン原子と同じものが挙げられる。
 なお、前記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、成分(B)としては、前記一般式(b)中のqが3である3官能シラン系化合物を含むことが好ましい。
(条件(I)について)
 成分(A)及び成分(B)の関係において、下記条件(I)を満たす防汚性組成物溶液であることが好ましい。
 条件(I):成分(B)の配合量(モル量)に対する成分(A)の配合量(モル量)の比〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)が、0.01以上50.00以下
 当該〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)が、0.01以上であると、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性が良好となる。このような観点から、当該〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)は、より好ましくは0.10以上、更に好ましくは0.50以上、より更に好ましくは0.80以上、より更に好ましくは1.00以上である。
 また、当該〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)は、50.00以下であることが好ましい。当該〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)が50.00以下であることで、成分(B)中のRで表されるアルキル基の存在によって、防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層が、より良好な撥水性を有する。このような観点から、当該〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)は、より好ましくは30.00以下、更に好ましくは25.00以下、より更に好ましくは20.00以下、より更に好ましくは10.00以下である。
 また、成分(A)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の良好な面状態を得る観点から、成分(A)及び成分(B)の配合量(モル量)合計100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.50モル%以上、より好ましくは10.00モル%以上、更に好ましくは30.00モル%以上、より更に好ましくは45.00モル%以上、より更に好ましくは50.00モル%以上である。そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは98.00モル%以下、より好ましくは96.00モル%以下、更に好ましくは94.00モル%以下、より更に好ましくは90.00モル%以下である。
 なお、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液中の「成分(A)の加水分解物の含有量(モル)」は、実質的に、加水分解前の「成分(A)の配合量(モル)」と同じとみなすことができる。
 これは、成分(B)、成分(B-1)、成分(B-2)についても同様である。
〔成分(B-1):一般式(b-1)で表される3官能シラン系化合物〕
 成分(B)は、次の一般式(b-1)で表される3官能シラン系化合物である成分(B-1)を少なくとも1種含むことが好ましい。
 RSi(OR(X3-r   (b-1)
 一般式(b-1)中、Rは、炭素数6~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。rは0~3の整数を表す。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数は6~24である。
 当該Rが表すアルキル基の炭素数が6以上であると、撥水性が良好な防汚層が得られるため好ましい。このような観点から、当該Rとしては、好ましくは8以上である。また、Rが表すアルキル基の炭素数の好ましい上限値は、前述したRの上限値の好ましい値と同じであり、好ましくは22以下、より好ましくは20以下、更に好ましくは18以下である。当該各好ましい上限値の設定理由もRについて上述したとおりである。
 なお、前記Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数には、当該アルキル基が有してもよい任意の置換基の炭素数は含まれない。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、例えば、n-ヘキシル基、n-ヘプチル基、n-オクチル基、n-ノニル基、n-デシル基、n-ウンデシル基、n-ドデシル基、n-トリデシル基、n-テトラデシル基、n-ペンタデシル基、n-ヘキサデシル基、n-ヘプタデシル基、n-オクタデシル基、n-ノナデシル基、n-イコシル基、n-ヘンイコシル基、n-ドコシル基、n-トリコシル基、n-テトラコシル基、イソプロピル基、イソブチル基、sec-ブチル基、tert-ブチル基、イソペンチル基、ネオペンチル基、tert-ペンチル基、メチルペンチル基、イソへキシル基、ペンチルヘキシル基、ブチルペンチル基、及び2-エチルヘキシル基等が挙げられる。
 なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、直鎖又は分岐鎖のいずれであってもよいが、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態を向上させる観点から、直鎖であることが好ましい。Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、同様の観点から、n-ノニル基、n-デシル基又はn-ドデシル基が好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基は、置換基を有していてもよい。なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基が有する置換基は、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基が有する置換基について前述したものと同じものが挙げられる。
 ただし、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としても、置換基を有していないアルキル基であることが好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基、及びXとして選択し得るハロゲン原子としては、前述の一般式(a)中のRとして選択し得るアルキル基、Xとして選択し得るハロゲン原子と同じものが挙げられる。
 なお、一般式(b-1)で表される3官能シラン系化合物は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、成分(B-1)としては、一般式(b-1)中のrが3である3官能シラン系化合物を含むことが好ましい。
〔成分(B-2):一般式(b-2)で表される3官能シラン系化合物〕
 成分(B)は、次の一般式(b-2)で表される3官能シラン系化合物である成分(B-2)を少なくとも1種含むことが好ましい。
 RSi(OR(X3-s   (b-2)
 一般式(b-2)中、Rは、炭素数1~3のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。sは0~3の整数を表す。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数は1~3である。
 当該アルキル基の炭素数がこの範囲であると、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性が優れる。なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基の炭素数には、当該アルキル基が有してもよい任意の置換基の炭素数は含まれない。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、又はイソプロピル基が挙げられ、硬化性を得る観点から、メチル基、又はエチル基が好ましく、メチル基がより好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基は、置換基を有していてもよい。なお、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基が有する置換基は、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基が有する置換基について前述したものと同じものが挙げられる。
 ただし、Rとして選択し得るアルキル基としては、置換基を有していないアルキル基であることが好ましい。
 Rとして選択し得るアルキル基、及びXとして選択し得るハロゲン原子としては、前述の一般式(a)中のRとして選択し得るアルキル基、Xとして選択し得るハロゲン原子と同じものが挙げられる。
 なお、一般式(b-2)で表される3官能シラン系化合物は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、成分(B-2)としては、一般式(b-2)中のsが3である3官能シラン系化合物を含むことが好ましい。
 本発明で用いる防汚性組成物溶液は、成分(B)の加水分解物の原料である成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を共に含むことがより好ましい。成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を併用することで、いずれかを単独で用いる場合と比べて、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態を向上させることができる。
(条件(II)について)
 成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を併用する場合、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の関係において、下記条件(II)を満たすことが好ましい。
 条件(II):成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の合計配合量(モル量)に対する成分(B-1)の配合量(モル量)の比〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)が、0.020以上
 当該〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)が、0.020以上であると、防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の静摩擦係数及び動摩擦係数が低くなり、摩擦特性に優れる。また、成分(B-1)中のRで表されるアルキル基の存在によって、防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層がより良好な撥水性を有する。このような観点から、当該〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)は、より好ましくは0.035以上、更に好ましくは0.045以上、より更に好ましくは0.050以上、より更に好ましくは0.100以上、より更に好ましくは0.150以上、より更に好ましくは0.250以上、より更に好ましくは0.500以上である。
 そして、当該〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)の上限は、好ましくは0.995以下、より好ましくは0.990以下、更に好ましくは0.980以下、より更に好ましくは0.950以下、より更に好ましくは0.850以下である。
 なお、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、3官能シラン系化合物として成分(B-1)と成分(B-2)とを前記条件(I)及び条件(II)を満たすように含むことで、防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の高い表面硬度と低い摩擦係数とを両立することができるため好ましい。また、成分(B-2)を含むことで、防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の耐候性向上が期待できる。
 成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を併用する場合、成分(B-1)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態を向上させる観点から、成分(A)、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の配合量(モル量)合計100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.30モル%以上、より好ましくは0.50モル%以上、更に好ましくは1.00モル%以上、より更に好ましくは5.00モル%以上である。そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは45.00モル%以下、より好ましくは40.00モル%以下、更に好ましくは38.00モル%以下である。
 また、成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を併用する場合、成分(B-2)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性及び防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層の面状態を向上させる観点から、成分(A)、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の配合量(モル量)合計100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.50モル%以上、より好ましくは0.80モル%以上、更に好ましくは1.00モル%以上、より更に好ましくは1.30モル%以上である。そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは40.00モル%以下、より好ましくは38.00モル%以下、より更に好ましくは25.00モル%以下、より更に好ましくは18.00モル%以下である。
 また、成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)とを併用する場合、成分(A)及び成分(B-1)の関係において、成分(B-1)の配合量(モル量)に対する成分(A)の配合量(モル量)の比〔(A)/(B-1)〕(モル比)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点から、好ましくは0.5以上、より好ましくは0.8以上、更に好ましくは1.0以上、より更に好ましくは1.2以上である。
 そして、当該〔(A)/(B-1)〕(モル比)は、300.0以下であることが好ましい。当該〔(A)/(B-1)〕(モル比)が300.0以下であることで、成分(B-1)中のRで表されるアルキル基の存在によって、防汚性組成物から形成される防汚層が、より良好な撥水性を有する。このような観点から、当該〔(A)/(B-1)〕(モル比)は、より好ましくは200.0以下、更に好ましくは150.0以下、より更に好ましくは100.0以下、より更に好ましくは90.0以下、より更に好ましくは50.0以下、より更に好ましくは10.0以下である。
 また、成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)とを併用する場合、成分(A)及び成分(B-2)の関係において、成分(B-2)の配合量(モル量)に対する成分(A)の配合量(モル量)の比〔(A)/(B-2)〕(モル比)は、特に制限はなく、1.0以上であることが好ましい。また、当該〔(A)/(B-2)〕(モル比)は、70.0以下であることが好ましく、より好ましくは50.0以下、更に好ましくは20.0以下である。
 また、成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を併用する場合、成分(A)、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の関係において、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の合計配合量(モル量)に対する成分(A)の配合量(モル量)の比〔(A)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)が、好ましくは0.01以上、より好ましくは0.10以上、更に好ましくは0.50以上、より更に好ましくは0.80以上、より更に好ましくは1.00以上である。また、当該〔(A)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)は、好ましくは50.00以下、より好ましくは25.00以下、更に好ましくは20.00以下、より更に好ましくは10.00以下である。
 なお、成分(B)として、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)とを併用する場合、成分(B)中の成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の合計配合量は、当該成分(B)の配合量全量100質量%に対して、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは65質量%以上、更に好ましくは80質量%以上、より更に好ましくは90質量%以上、より更に好ましくは95質量%以上、より更に好ましくは99質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは100質量%以下である。また、当該含有量は、より好ましくは100質量%である。
(酸触媒(C))
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液に用いる成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性をより向上させる観点から、酸触媒(C)を用いて加水分解された加水分解物であることが好ましい。
 酸触媒(C)としては、成分(A)及び成分(B)の反応性官能基の加水分解を促進させる作用を有する成分であれば特に制限はない。例えば、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性をより向上させる観点から、塩酸、リン酸、酢酸、ギ酸、硫酸、メタンスルホン酸、臭酸、p-トルエンスルホン酸、及びトリフルオロ酢酸からなる群より選ばれる1種以上を含むことが好ましく、塩酸を含むことがより好ましい。
 なお、前記酸触媒(C)としては、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
<金属触媒(D)>
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物と共に、更に金属触媒(D)を含む。該金属触媒(D)を含まない場合、成分(A)の加水分解物、及び成分(B)の加水分解物の縮合反応を効果的に促進させることができず、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を十分に向上させることができない。
 また、金属触媒(D)を含まない防汚性組成物溶液の場合、比較的低温下(130℃以下)の場合には、十分に硬化反応を進行させることができない。そのため、例えば、塩化ビニル樹脂等の耐熱性が低い基材上に、当該防汚性組成物溶液から形成される防汚層を形成したい場合、基材の熱収縮を抑え得るほどの低温下において防汚層を形成しようとすると、防汚層組成物溶液の硬化が不十分となる虞がある。逆に、硬化反応を十分に進行させるために比較的高温下(130℃越え)で硬化させようとした場合、基材が熱収縮を生じてしまう虞がある。
 金属触媒(D)としては、触媒作用発現のために光照射を必要としない金属触媒であることが好ましい。
 なお、本明細書において、当該「触媒作用発現のために光照射を必要としない金属触媒」とは、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物の縮合反応に対する触媒作用を発現するために光照射を必要としない金属触媒のことを指す。例えば、酸化チタン(TiO)や酸化亜鉛(ZnO)等の、光照射により電子と正孔を生成することで酸化反応及び還元反応を引き起こすといった、触媒作用発現のために光照射が必要とされる、一般に光触媒と呼ばれるものは除かれる。
 なお、防汚性組成物溶液が前記「触媒作用発現のために光照射を必要としない金属触媒」を含有する場合には、光触媒を用いた場合に生じる虞がある不具合を回避できる。当該、光触媒を用いた場合に生じる虞がある不具合とは、例えば、光触媒自体が固形物であることに起因して得られる防汚層の表面粗さが大きくなることによる撥水性の低下や、光触媒の親水性付与効果による撥水性の低下といった問題が挙げられる。
 当該金属触媒(D)としては、チタン系触媒、ジルコニウム系触媒、パラジウム系触媒、錫系触媒、アルミニウム系触媒、及び亜鉛系触媒からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であることが好ましい。
 前記チタン系触媒としては、チタン原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、チタンアルコキシド、チタンキレート、チタンアシレート等が挙げられ、チタンの水酸化物、酢酸塩、炭酸塩、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、又は塩化物等であってもよい。
 チタンアルコキシドとしては、例えば、チタンテトライソプロポキシド、チタンテトラノルマルブトキシド、チタンブトキシドダイマー、チタンテトラ-2-エチルヘキソキシド等が挙げられる。
 チタンキレートとしては、例えば、チタンジイソプロポキシビス(アセチルアセトネート)、チタンテトラアセチルアセトネート等のチタンアセチルアセトネート;チタンジイソプロポキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)等のチタンエチルアセトアセテート;チタンジイソプロポキシビス(トリエタノールアミネート)等のチタントリエタノールアミネート;チタンテトラオクチレングリコネート、チタンジオクチロキシビス(オクチレングリコネート)、チタンジ-2-エチルヘキソキシビス(2-エチル-3-ヒドロキシヘキソキシド)等のチタンオクチレングリコネート;チタンラクテート、チタンラクテートアンモニウム塩等が挙げられる。
 チタンアシレートとしては、例えば、ポリヒドロキシチタンステアレート等が挙げられる。
 前記ジルコニウム系触媒としては、ジルコニウム原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、ジルコニウムアルコキシド、ジルコニウムキレート、ジルコニウムアシレート等が挙げられ、ジルコニウムの水酸化物、酢酸塩、炭酸塩、硫酸塩、硝酸塩、又は塩化物等であってもよい。
 ジルコニウムアルコキシドとしては、例えば、ジルコニウムテトラノルマルプロポキシド、ジルコニウムテトラノルマルブトキシド等が挙げられる。
 ジルコニウムキレートとしては、例えば、ジルコニウムトリブトキシモノアセチルアセトネート、ジルコニウムテトラアセチルアセトネート等のジルコニウムアセチルアセトネート;ジルコニウムジブトキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)等のジルコニウムエチルアセトアセテート;塩化ジルコニル化合物、ジルコニウムラクテートアンモニウム塩等が挙げられる。
 ジルコニウムアシレートとしては、例えば、オクチル酸ジルコニウム化合物、ステアリン酸ジルコニウム等が挙げられる。
 前記パラジウム系触媒としては、パラジウム原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、パラジウム、塩化パラジウム、水酸化パラジウム、パラジウム炭素触媒(Pd/C)等が挙げられる。
 前記錫系触媒としては、錫原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、スタナスオクトエート、ジブチル錫ジアセテート、ジブチル錫ジラウレート、ジブチル錫メルカプタイド、ジブチル錫ジチオカルボキシレート、ジブチル錫ジマレエート、ジオクチル錫メルカプタイド、ジオクチル錫チオカルボキシレート等の有機錫化合物、又は無機錫化合物が挙げられる。
 前記アルミニウム系触媒としては、アルミニウム原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、アルミニウムのアセトアセテート錯体、又はアルミニウムのアセチルアセトネート錯体等が挙げられる。
 アルミニウムのアセトアセテート錯体としては、例えば、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノオレイルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムビスオレイルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノオレエートモノエチルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノラウリルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノステアリルアセトアセテート、ジイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノイソステアリルアセトアセテート、モノイソプロポキシアルミニウムモノ-N-ラウロイル-β-アラネートモノラウリルアセトアセテート、アルミニウムトリスアセチルアセトネート等が挙げられる。
 アルミニウムのアセチルアセトネート錯体としては、例えば、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(イソブチルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(2-エチルヘキシルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(ドデシルアセトアセテート)キレート、モノアセチルアセトネートアルミニウムビス(オレイルアセトアセテート)キレート等が挙げられる。
 前記亜鉛系触媒としては、亜鉛原子を含有する光触媒以外の化合物であることが好ましく、例えば、亜鉛-クロム酸化物、亜鉛-アルミニウム酸化物、亜鉛-アルミニウム-クロム酸化物、亜鉛-クロム-マンガン酸化物、亜鉛-鉄酸化物、亜鉛-鉄-アルミニウム酸化物等が挙げられる。
 なお、金属触媒(D)としては、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、シラン系化合物同士の縮合反応を効果的に促進させ、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点、及び、比較的低温下(130℃以下)でも硬化反応を進行させ得る防汚性組成物溶液とする観点から、少なくとも前記チタン系触媒を含有していることが好ましい。
 当該チタン系触媒としては、チタンキレートが好ましく、チタンエチルアセトアセテート、チタンアセチルアセトネート又はチタンオクチレングリコネートがより好ましく、チタンエチルアセトアセテートが更に好ましく、チタンジイソプロポキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)がより更に好ましい。
 防汚性組成物溶液中の金属触媒(D)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点、及び、比較的低温下(130℃以下)でも硬化反応を進行させ得る防汚性組成物溶液とする観点から、成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計配合量(モル量)100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.010モル%以上、より好ましくは0.100モル%以上、更に好ましくは0.150モル%以上、より更に好ましくは0.300モル%以上、より更に好ましくは0.500モル%以上、より更に好ましくは1.000モル%以上である。
 そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは50.000モル%以下、より好ましくは30.000モル%以下、更に好ましくは20.000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは10.000モル%以下、より更に好ましく6.000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは3.000モル%以下である。
 また、防汚性組成物溶液中の金属触媒(D)の含有量は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点、及び、比較的低温下(130℃以下)でも硬化反応を進行させ得る防汚性組成物溶液とする観点から、好ましくは0.01質量%以上、より好ましくは0.05質量%以上、更に好ましくは0.1質量%以上である。そして、当該含有量は、好ましくは10質量%以下、より好ましくは5質量%以下、更に好ましくは2質量%以下である。
 なお、当該含有量は、各成分を配合する時の配合量から算出することもできる。
<水(E)>
 本発明で用いる水(E)としては、蒸留水、脱イオン水、精製水、RO(Reverse Osmosis)水等の純水、又は超純水を用いることが好ましい。
 前述のとおり、本明細書で「水(E)」とは、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物が存在する系に対して、後から配合される水のことをいう。したがって、例えば、前述した成分(A)及び成分(B)を加水分解するために予め混合される水や、酸触媒(C)を希釈するために用いる水は除かれる。
 防汚性組成物溶液中の水(E)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点から、成分(A)及び成分(B)の配合量(モル量)合計100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.01モル%以上、より好ましくは0.10モル%以上、更に好ましくは0.50モル%以上、より更に好ましくは1.00モル%以上、より更に好ましくは10.0モル%以上、より更に好ましくは100モル%以上である。そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは100,000モル%以下、より好ましくは50,000モル%以下、更に好ましくは10,000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは5,000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは2,000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは1,000モル%以下、より更に好ましくは500モル%以下である。
 また、防汚性組成物溶液中、水(E)を含む水の総含有量は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性を向上させる観点から、好ましくは0.01質量%以上、より好ましくは0.05質量%以上、更に好ましくは1.00質量%以上、より更に好ましくは2.50質量%以上、より更に好ましくは5.00質量%以上である。そして、当該含有量は、好ましくは99.00質量%以下、より好ましくは95.00質量%以下、更に好ましくは90.00質量%以下、より更に好ましくは70.00質量%以下、より更に好ましくは50.00質量%以下、より更に好ましくは25.00質量%以下である。
 なお、当該水の総含有量とは、水(E)に加えて、例えば、前述の酸触媒(C)を希釈するために用いられる水や、その他成分に含有されている水も含む、防汚性組成物溶液中に含まれる全ての水の含有量をいう。
 なお、当該含有量は、例えば、水(E)の量及び酸触媒(C)中の水の量、及び成分(A)及び成分(B)の脱水縮合により生成する水の量から算出することもできるし、例えば、硫酸マグネシウムを防汚性組成物溶液に投入して水を吸着させ、当該水分量をカールフィッシャー法で測定することで水分量を測定することもできる。
<その他の添加剤>
 防汚性組成物溶液には、前述した各成分以外に、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、その他の添加剤を含有していてもよい。
 その他の添加剤としては、例えば、樹脂成分、硬化剤、老化防止剤、光安定剤、難燃剤、導電剤、帯電防止剤、可塑剤等が挙げられる。
 これら添加剤の含有量は、それぞれ独立に、防汚性組成物溶液の全量に対して、好ましくは0~20質量%、より好ましくは0~10質量%、更に好ましくは0~5質量%、より更に好ましくは0~2質量%である。
 なお、当該含有量は、各成分を配合する時の配合量から算出することもできる。
 なお、防汚性組成物溶液中の成分(A)、成分(B)、及び金属触媒(D)の合計配合量は、当該防汚性組成物溶液中の全有効成分100質量%に対して、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは65質量%以上、更に好ましくは80質量%以上、より更に好ましくは90質量%以上、より更に好ましくは95質量%以上、より更に好ましくは99質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは100質量%以下である。また、当該配合量は、より好ましくは100質量%である。
 なお、本発明において、防汚性組成物溶液中の有効成分とは、当該防汚性組成物溶液中に含まれる成分中、反応に直接関与しない溶媒(水や有機溶媒)を除いた液体成分、及び常温で固形である成分を指す。
<防汚性組成物溶液の特性>
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、可使時間が長く、調製後、一定時間経過してから使用する場合であっても、良好な硬化性を維持することが可能である。
 当該可使時間は、例えば、好ましくは24時間以上、より好ましくは168時間以上、更に好ましくは336時間以上であり、そして、好ましくは4,500時間以下である。
 このように、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、従来の防汚性組成物溶液と異なり、調製してから長時間経過後であっても、良好な硬化性を発現することが可能である。
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、前記防汚性組成物溶液を調製後、24時間経過後の防汚性組成物溶液が含まれる。
[防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法]
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法は、次の工程(1)及び工程(2)をこの順で有する。
工程(1):下記成分(A)及び下記成分(B)を加水分解する工程
成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物
 Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
〔一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。〕
成分(B):下記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
 RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
〔一般式(b)中、Rは、炭素数1~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。qは0~3の整数を表す。〕
工程(2):工程(1)で得られた成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合する工程
<工程(1)>
 工程(1)は、成分(A)及び成分(B)を加水分解する工程である。
 当該成分(A)及び成分(B)は、それぞれ、前述した成分(A)及び成分(B)と同じであり、その好適な態様も同じである。また、成分(A)及び成分(B)の配合量も、前述した成分(A)及び成分(B)の配合量と同じであり、その好適範囲も同じである。
 成分(A)及び成分(B)を加水分解する方法は、特に制限はないが、酸触媒(C)を用いて加水分解することが好ましい。
 酸触媒(C)としては、前述した酸触媒(C)と同じであり、その好適な態様も同じである。
 酸触媒(C)の配合量(モル量)は、防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性をより向上させる観点から、成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計配合量(モル量)100モル%に対して、好ましくは0.010モル%以上、より好ましくは0.030モル%以上、更に好ましくは0.050モル%以上、より更に好ましくは0.060モル%以上である。そして、当該配合量(モル量)は、好ましくは1.000モル%以下、より好ましくは0.500モル%以下、更に好ましくは0.100モル%以下、より更に好ましくは0.075モル%以下である。
 酸触媒(C)を用いて成分(A)及び成分(B)の加水分解を行う場合、工程(1)を行う際の温度は、成分(A)及び成分(B)の反応性官能基の加水分解が可能な温度であれば特に制限はないが、加熱による意図しない縮合反応の進行を抑制する観点から、好ましくは5℃以上、より好ましくは10℃以上、更に好ましくは15℃以上である。そして、当該温度は、好ましくは100℃以下、より好ましくは75℃以下、更に好ましくは50℃以下、より更に好ましくは40℃以下である。
 酸触媒(C)を用いて成分(A)及び成分(B)の加水分解を行う場合、工程(1)で加水分解反応を行う際の反応時間は、成分(A)及び成分(B)の反応性官能基の加水分解が十分に進行できる時間であれば特に制限はなく、成分(A)及び成分(B)の使用量、酸触媒(C)の使用量、反応温度等によって、適宜、調整することができる。
 したがって、当該反応時間は、前記各条件によって、適宜調整することができるが、例えば、好ましくは0.10時間以上、より好ましくは0.15時間以上、更に好ましくは0.20時間以上、より更に好ましくは0.25時間以上である。そして、当該反応時間は、好ましくは24.00時間以下、より好ましくは12.00時間以下、更に好ましくは3.00時間以下、より更に好ましくは1.00時間以下である。
 なお、工程(1)では、成分(A)及び成分(B)を有機溶媒に溶かしてシラン系化合物溶液の形態とし、加水分解を行ってもよい。
 当該有機溶媒としては、例えば、メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、イソプロピルアルコール、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノン、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、トルエン、ミネラルスピリット等が挙げられる。
 工程(1)で得られるシラン系化合物溶液中の成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計濃度は、成分(A)及び成分(B)の反応性官能基の加水分解が可能な濃度であれば特に制限はないが、好ましくは0.50モル/L以上、より好ましくは0.80モル/L以上、更に好ましくは1.00モル/L以上である。そして、当該濃度は、好ましくは3.00モル/L以下、より好ましくは2.00モル/L以下、更に好ましくは1.60モル/L以下である。
 工程(1)では、成分(A)の加水分解と成分(B)の加水分解とをそれぞれ独立して行ってもよく、好ましくは成分(A)と成分(B)とを混合した後に成分(A)及び成分(B)の加水分解を行う。
<工程(2)>
 工程(2)は、工程(1)で得られた成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合する工程である。
 金属触媒(D)及び水(E)は、それぞれ、前述した金属触媒(D)及び水(E)と同じであり、その好適な態様も同じである。また、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)の配合量も、前述した金属触媒(D)及び水(E)の配合量と同じであり、その好適範囲も同じである。
 工程(1)で得られた成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合する順序は、特に制限はないが、金属触媒(D)を混合した後に水(E)を混合する工程、又は、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を同時に混合することが好ましい。
 工程(2)で、水(E)を混合することによって、可使時間が長い防汚性組成物溶液を得ることができる。
 なお、工程(2)で、金属触媒(D)を混合した後、水(E)を混合する場合は、水(E)を混合する前に、更に、有機溶媒を混合して、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物、並びに金属触媒(D)を含有する溶液の濃度を、適宜、調整してもよい。
 当該有機溶媒としては、例えば、前述した各種有機溶媒が挙げられる。
 この場合、当該溶液中の、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物、並びに金属触媒(D)の合計濃度は、好ましくは0.20モル/L以上、より好ましくは0.40モル/L以上、更に好ましくは0.50モル/L以上である。そして、当該濃度は、好ましくは3.00モル/L以下、より好ましくは2.00モル/L以下、更に好ましくは1.00モル/L以下である。
 また、工程(1)で成分(A)の加水分解物と成分(B)の加水分解物とをそれぞれ独立に得た場合、それぞれの加水分解物に対し金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合した後にそれらを互いに混合してもよく、又は、成分(A)の加水分解物と成分(B)の加水分解物とを混合した後に金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合してもよい。
 工程(2)では、成分(A)の加水分解物と成分(B)の加水分解物との混合物に対し金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合するのが好ましい。また、工程(1)で成分(A)と成分(B)との混合物を得た後に加水分解を行い、工程(2)で成分(A)の加水分解物と成分(B)の加水分解物との混合物に対し金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合するのがより好ましい。
 また、工程(1)及び工程(2)を経て得られる防汚性組成物溶液には、更に、前述したその他の添加剤を配合してもよい。
 その他の添加剤としては、前述したものと同じものが挙げられ、また、それら添加剤の好適な配合量は、前述した含有量と同じである。
[防汚性組成物溶液に用いる溶液]
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液には、下記成分(A)の加水分解物及び下記成分(B)の加水分解物に、水(E)を配合してなる溶液を用いることができる。
成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物
 Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
〔一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。〕
成分(B):下記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
 RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
〔一般式(b)中、Rは、炭素数1~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。qは0~3の整数を表す。〕
 成分(A)の加水分解物、成分(B)の加水分解物、及び水(E)は、それぞれ、前述した成分(A)の加水分解物、成分(B)の加水分解物、及び水(E)と同じであり、その好適な態様も同じである。
 また、当該溶液の製造方法は、前述した防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法の工程(2)で、金属触媒(D)を用いないこと以外は、前記防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法と同様の方法を用いて製造することができる。
 更に、当該溶液は、成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物を溶解する際に用いられる有機溶媒を含有していてもよい。
 当該有機溶媒としては、例えば、前述した各種有機溶媒が挙げられる。
 当該溶液に対して、金属触媒(D)を混合することにより、前記防汚性組成物溶液を得ることができる。金属触媒(D)は、前述した金属触媒(D)と同じであり、その好適な態様も同じである。
 好ましくは、防汚層を形成する際に、当該溶液に金属触媒(D)を混合して前記防汚性組成物溶液を調製して用いることができる。
 当該溶液中の成分(A)の配合量、成分(B)の配合量、水(E)の配合量、並びに水の総含有量は、当該溶液に対して金属触媒(D)を配合した際、それぞれ、前述した防汚性組成物溶液中における各成分の好適な配合量及び含有量と同じになる量であることが好ましい。
 また、工程(1)及び工程(2)を経て得られる防汚性組成物溶液には、更に、前述したその他の添加剤を混合してもよい。
 その他の添加剤としては、前述したものと同じものが挙げられ、また、それら添加剤の好適な含有量も同じである。
<防汚性組成物の被塗布体>
 本発明の防汚性組成物を塗布する対象物としては、防汚性が必要となる物であれば、特に制限はないが、ガラス、金属、合金、半導体、ゴム、布、プラスチック、セラミックス、木材、紙、繊維等に対して好適に用いることができ、ガラス、金属に対してより好適に用いることができる。また、金属酸化膜や樹脂塗装面に対しても好適に用いることができる。
 当該防汚性組成物を被塗布体に塗布する場合、有機溶媒に溶かして、溶液の形態とし、公知の塗布方法で塗布することが好ましい。
 当該有機溶媒としては、例えば、前述した各種有機溶媒が挙げられる。
 前記防汚性組成物溶液を被塗布体に対して塗布する方法としては、例えば、スピンコート法、スプレーコート法、バーコート法、ナイフコート法、ロールナイフコート法、ロールコート法、ブレードコート法、ディップコート法、カーテンコート法、ダイコート法、グラビアコート法等が挙げられる。
[防汚性シート]
 前記防汚性組成物溶液は、防汚性シートに好適に用いることができる。当該防汚性シートは、上述の本発明の防汚性組成物溶液から形成されてなる防汚層を有するものであれば、特に制限はない。
<防汚性シートの構成>
 図1は、前記防汚性組成物溶液を用いて得られる防汚性シートの一例である、基材を有する防汚性シートの断面図である。
 基材を有する防汚性シートとしては、例えば、図1(a)に示すような、基材12上に、防汚層11を有する防汚性シート1aが挙げられる。
 また、図1(b)に示すような、基材12の防汚層11を有する面とは反対側の面上に、更に粘着剤層13及び剥離材14を設けた防汚性シート1bとしてもよい。
 なお、この防汚性シート1a、1bの防汚層11上には、保存時の防汚層の保護のために、更に剥離材を設けてもよい。
 図2も、前記防汚性組成物溶液を用いて得られる防汚性シートの一例である、基材を有しない防汚性シートの断面図である。
 基材を有しない防汚性シートとしては、例えば、図2(a)に示すような、防汚層11が2枚の剥離材14、14’で挟持された構成を有する防汚性シート2aが挙げられる。
 また、図2(b)に示すような、図2(a)に示す構成において、更に、防汚層11と剥離材14’との間に粘着剤層13を設けた防汚性シート2bとしてもよい。
 防汚性シートが有する防汚層は、前述の本発明の防汚性組成物溶液から形成することができる。
 当該防汚層の厚さとしては、好ましくは0.001μm以上、より好ましくは0.005μm以上、更に好ましくは0.01μm以上、より更に好ましくは0.05μm以上、より更に好ましくは0.10μm以上である。また、当該厚さは、好ましくは40μm以下、より好ましくは25μm以下、更に好ましくは15μm以下、より更に好ましくは5.0μm以下、より更に好ましくは1.0μm以下、より更に好ましくは0.80μm以下である。
 防汚性シートに用いることができる基材としては、例えば、紙基材、樹脂フィルム、樹脂シート、紙基材を樹脂でラミネートした基材、繊維シート等の多孔質基材、ガラスシート、金属箔、金属シート等が挙げられ、防汚性シートの用途に応じて適宜選択することができる。
 紙基材を構成する紙としては、例えば、薄葉紙、中質紙、上質紙、含浸紙、コート紙、アート紙、硫酸紙、グラシン紙等が挙げられる。
 樹脂フィルム又は樹脂シートを構成する樹脂としては、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン系樹脂;ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリビニルアルコール、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン-ビニルアルコール共重合体等、エチレン-メタクリル酸共重合体のビニル系樹脂;ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート等のポリエステル系樹脂;ポリスチレン;アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン-スチレン共重合体;三酢酸セルロース;ポリカーボネート;ポリウレタン、アクリル変性ポリウレタン等のウレタン系樹脂等が挙げられる。
 紙基材を樹脂でラミネートした基材としては、前記の紙基材を、ポリエチレン等の熱可塑性樹脂でラミネートしたラミネート紙等が挙げられる。
 当該繊維シートとしては、織布、不織布、ニット等の各種繊維シートが挙げられる。当該繊維シートとしては、好ましくは有機繊維及び無機繊維からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する繊維シート、より好ましくはセルロースナノファイバー、合成繊維及びガラス繊維からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する繊維シート、更に好ましくは少なくともガラス繊維を含有するガラス繊維シートが挙げられる。
 当該有機繊維としては、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン系樹脂;ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリ乳酸等のポリエステル系樹脂;ナイロン6、ナイロン66等の脂肪族ポリアミド;パラ系又はメタ系アラミド等の全芳香族ポリアミド;ポリビニルアルコール(PVA);前述の樹脂から紡糸された前記合成繊維、並びにNBKP、LBKP、アバカパルプ等の各種天然パルプ、当該天然パルプ由来のセルロースナノファイバーが挙げられる。
 当該無機繊維としては、例えば、ガラス繊維;アルミナ、アルミナ-シリカ、ジルコニア等のセラミックス原料からなるセラミックス繊維;鉄、銅、黄銅、チタン、アルミニウム、ステンレス等からなる金属繊維;が挙げられる。
 また、前記ガラス繊維シートが、ガラス繊維とともに合成繊維を含有する場合、合成繊維はPVA繊維であることが好ましい。
 金属箔又は金属シートとしては、特に限定されないが、例えば、アルミニウム、ニッケル、ステンレス、銅、黄銅、チタン、若しくはタングステン等の各種金属からなる金属箔又は金属シートが挙げられる。
 また、防汚性シートに用いる基材として、防汚層又は後述する耐候層との密着性を向上させる観点から、前述した基材の表面上にプライマー層を設けたプライマー層付き基材を用いてもよい。
 プライマー層を構成する成分としては、例えば、ポリエステル系樹脂、ウレタン系樹脂、ポリエステルウレタン系樹脂、アクリル系樹脂等が挙げられ、これらの樹脂は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 また、防汚性シートに用いる基材としては、前述した基材の表面上又はプライマー層付き基材の表面上に、更に高分子紫外線吸収剤からなる耐候層を設けた耐候層付き基材(耐候層と基材との間にプライマー層を有していてもよい)を用いてもよい。当該高分子紫外線吸収剤としては、紫外線吸収骨格がポリマー構造内に共有結合している構造を有するものであり、重量平均分子量が5,000以上のものが好ましく、より好ましくは10,000以上である。
 また、防汚性シートに用いる基材が樹脂フィルム又は樹脂シートである場合、防汚層との密着性を向上させる観点から、必要に応じて、これら樹脂フィルム又は樹脂シートの表面に対して、酸化法や凹凸化法等の表面処理を施してもよい。
 酸化法としては、特に限定されず、例えば、コロナ放電処理法、プラズマ処理法、クロム酸酸化(湿式)、火炎処理、熱風処理、オゾン・紫外線照射処理等が挙げられる。
 また、凹凸化法としては、特に限定されず、例えば、サンドブラスト法、溶剤処理法等が挙げられる。
 これらの表面処理は、基材の種類に応じて適宜選定されるが、防汚層との密着性向上の観点、及び操作性の観点から、コロナ放電処理法が好ましい。
 また、前述した各種基材の表面に金属を蒸着させた金属蒸着フィルム又は金属蒸着シートを用いてもよい。当該金属としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、アルミニウム、ニッケル、鉄、銅、金、銀、クロム等の各種金属及びそれらの炭化物、酸化物又は窒化物等が挙げられる。
 基材の厚さは、防汚性シートの用途に応じて適宜設定されるが、取扱性及び経済性の観点から、好ましくは10~250μm、より好ましくは15~200μm、更に好ましくは20~150μmである。
 なお、当該基材には、更に、上述の高分子紫外線吸収剤以外の紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、スリップ剤、アンチブロッキング剤、着色剤等が含有されていてもよい。
 防汚性シートに用いることができる剥離材の例としては、両面剥離処理をされた剥離シートや、片面剥離処理をされた剥離シート等が用いられ、剥離材用の基材上に剥離剤を塗布したもの等が挙げられる。
 剥離材用の基材としては、例えば、本発明の防汚性シートの一態様が有する基材として使用し得る、紙基材、樹脂フィルム、樹脂シート、紙基材を樹脂でラミネートした基材等が挙げられる。
 剥離剤としては、例えば、シリコーン系樹脂、オレフィン系樹脂、イソプレン系樹脂、ブタジエン系樹脂等のゴム系エラストマー、長鎖アルキル系樹脂、アルキド系樹脂、フッ素系樹脂等が挙げられる。
 剥離材の厚さは、特に制限はなく、好ましくは10~200μm、より好ましくは25~150μmである。
 なお、前記防汚層が2枚の剥離材で挟持された構成を有する場合、当該2枚の剥離材は、互いに同一でも異なっていてもよい。
 防汚性シートが粘着剤層を有する場合、当該粘着剤層を構成する粘着剤としては、防汚性シートの用途に応じて適宜選択することができる。
 粘着剤としては、例えば、アクリル系粘着剤、ウレタン系粘着剤、シリコーン系粘着剤、ゴム系粘着剤、ポリエステル系粘着剤、紫外線等のエネルギー線により硬化する硬化型粘着剤等が挙げられる。
 これらの粘着剤は、単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 粘着剤層の厚さは、特に制限はなく、好ましくは1~100μm、より好ましくは5~80μmである。
 本発明の防汚層組成物溶液を用いて得られる防汚性シートは、例えば、建築用窓ガラス、自動車用窓ガラス、車両、航空機、船舶等の風防ガラス、水槽、船底窓、船底への海中生物付着防止用フィルム、防音壁等の道路用パネル、浴室等に設置された鏡、ガラス容器、ガラス装飾品等の成形品の表面に、水滴や、傷、汚れ等の視界を妨げるものの付着を防止するための防汚性シートとして好適である。
[防汚性組成物溶液の調製]
実施例1及び2、比較例1及び2
(工程1)
 表1に示す種類及び配合比(有効成分比、モル%)で成分(A)、成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)を配合し、溶媒としてエタノールを加えて希釈し、有効成分濃度1.30Mの溶液を得た。
 当該溶液に、更に酸触媒(C)である塩酸(希釈水を除く)を成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計100モル%に対して0.067モル%となるように配合して15分間攪拌した。攪拌後、当該溶液を15分間静置した。
(工程2)
 次いで、表1に示す配合比(有効成分比、モル%)で金属触媒(D)であるチタンジイソプロポキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)を配合した後、更に溶媒としてエタノールを加えて希釈し、有効成分濃度0.65Mの溶液を得た。
 該溶液に、表1に示す配合比(モル%)で水(E)である精製水を配合して、防汚性組成物溶液を調製した。
比較例3
 工程1で用いる0.01M塩酸に対して、予め、表1に示す配合となるように精製水を配合したものを酸触媒(C)として用い、かつ、工程2で水(E)を配合しないこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、防汚性組成物溶液を調製した。
 本実施例及び比較例での防汚性組成物溶液の調製に際し使用した、表1に記載の各成分の詳細は以下のとおりである。
<成分(A):一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物>
・「TEOS」:テトラエトキシシラン、前記一般式(a)中、p=4、R=エチル基(炭素数:2)である4官能シラン系化合物。
<成分(B-1):一般式(b-1)で表される3官能シラン系化合物>
・「デシルトリメトキシシラン」:前記一般式(b-1)中のr=3、R=n-デシル基(炭素数:10)、R=メチル基(炭素数:1)である3官能シラン系化合物。
<成分(B-2):一般式(b-2)で表される3官能シラン系化合物>
・「メチルトリメトキシシラン」:前記一般式(b-2)中のs=3、R=メチル基(炭素数:1)、R=メチル基(炭素数:1)である3官能シラン系化合物。
<酸触媒(C)>
・「塩酸」:0.01M塩酸。
<金属触媒(D)>
・「チタン系触媒」:チタンジイソプロポキシビス(エチルアセトアセテート)〔マツモトファインケミカル株式会社製、製品名「オルガチックス TC-750」〕。
<水(E)>
・精製水。
 各実施例及び各比較例で調製した表1に示す防汚性組成物溶液の特性について、以下の方法に基づき評価した。その結果を表2に示す。
<評価用防汚性シートの作製>
 防汚性組成物溶液の評価のため、次に示す方法を用いて防汚性シートを作製した。
 基材として、スライドガラスを用いた。
 各実施例及び各比較例で調製した防汚性組成物溶液を、調製後、24時間静置したものを塗工溶液として用い、該基材上にディップコートして塗膜を形成した。次いで、該塗膜を80℃で2分間乾燥して評価用の防汚性シートを作製した。
<防汚性組成物溶液の硬化性>
 各実施例及び各比較例で調製した防汚性組成物溶液を用いて作製した各評価用防汚性シートの防汚層表面を、指で20回擦った後の防汚層を目視で観察し、以下の基準により、防汚層の硬化性を評価した。
・A:指で擦る前と比べて変化は見られなかった。
・B:少し白く変色したが、許容できる程度である。
・C:白く変色した。
・D:防汚性組成物からなる塗膜が硬化せずに、防汚層が形成できなかった。
<防汚層の面状態>
 各実施例及び各比較例で調製した防汚性組成物溶液を用いて作製した各評価用防汚性シートの防汚層表面を目視で観察し、以下の基準により、防汚層の面状態を評価した。
 A:透明であった。
 B:僅かにくもりが確認された。
 C:くもりが生じて均一に塗布できなかった。
<防汚層の水接触角>
 防汚層の水接触角は、協和界面科学株式会社製の全自動接触角測定装置(製品名「DM-701」)を用いて、各実施例及び各比較例で調製した防汚性組成物溶液を用いて作製した各評価用防汚性シートの防汚層表面について、水2μLに対する接触角として測定した。

 表1及び表2より、実施例1又は2の防汚性組成物溶液は、該防汚性組成物溶液を調製後、24時間保管後に使用した場合であっても、硬化性が良好であり、該防汚性組成物溶液から作製した防汚層は、面状態及び撥水性が良好であった。
 一方、表1及び表2より、比較例1~3の防汚性組成物溶液は、該防汚性組成物溶液を調製後24時間保管後に使用した場合、硬化性が劣る結果となった。
 本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、長時間保管後であっても硬化性が良好であり、該防汚性組成物から形成される防汚層の面状態及び撥水性も良好である。
 したがって、本発明の防汚性組成物溶液は、可使時間が長く、当該防汚性組成物溶液を調製してから防汚層を形成するまでに時間を要する場合にも好適に使用することができる。また、当該防汚性組成物溶液を調製後に保管、輸送等が必要な場合にも好適に用いることができる。

Claims (15)

  1.  下記成分(A)の加水分解物及び下記成分(B)の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を配合してなる防汚性組成物溶液。
    成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物
     Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
    〔一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。〕
    成分(B):下記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
     RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
    〔一般式(b)中、Rは、炭素数1~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。qは0~3の整数を表す。〕
  2.  成分(B)が、下記成分(B-1)を少なくとも1種含む、請求項1に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
    成分(B-1):下記一般式(b-1)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
     RSi(OR(X3-r   (b-1)
    〔一般式(b-1)中、Rは、炭素数6~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。rは0~3の整数を表す。〕
  3.  成分(B)が、下記成分(B-2)を少なくとも1種含む、請求項1又は2に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
    成分(B-2):下記一般式(b-2)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
     RSi(OR(X3-s   (b-2)
    〔一般式(b-2)中、Rは、炭素数1~3のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。sは0~3の整数を表す。〕
  4.  更に、下記条件(II)を満たす、請求項3に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
    条件(II):成分(B-1)及び成分(B-2)の合計配合量に対する成分(B-1)の配合量の比〔(B-1)/{(B-1)+(B-2)}〕(モル比)が、0.020以上
  5.  更に、下記条件(I)を満たす、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
    条件(I):成分(B)の配合量に対する成分(A)の配合量の比〔(A)/(B)〕(モル比)が、0.01以上50.00以下
  6.  金属触媒(D)が、チタン系触媒、ジルコニウム系触媒、パラジウム系触媒、錫系触媒、アルミニウム系触媒、及び亜鉛系触媒からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
  7.  金属触媒(D)の配合量が、成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計配合量100モル%に対して、0.01モル%以上50.00モル%以下である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
  8.  水(E)の配合量が、成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計配合量100モル%に対して、0.01モル%以上100,000モル%以下である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の防汚性組成物溶液。
  9.  下記工程(1)及び下記工程(2)をこの順で有する、防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法。
    工程(1):下記成分(A)及び下記成分(B)を加水分解する工程
    成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物
     Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
    〔一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。〕
    成分(B):下記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
     RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
    〔一般式(b)中、Rは、炭素数1~24のアルキル基を表し、当該アルキル基は置換基を有していてもよい。Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。qは0~3の整数を表す。〕
    工程(2):工程(1)で得られた成分(A)の加水分解物及び成分(B)の加水分解物に、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を混合する工程
  10.  工程(2)が、金属触媒(D)を混合した後に水(E)を混合する工程、又は、金属触媒(D)及び水(E)を同時に混合する工程である、請求項9に記載の防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法。
  11.  工程(1)で、酸触媒(C)を用いる、請求項9又は10に記載の防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法。
  12.  酸触媒(C)が、塩酸、リン酸、酢酸、ギ酸、硫酸、メタンスルホン酸、臭酸、p-トルエンスルホン酸、及びトリフルオロ酢酸からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項11に記載の防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法。
  13.  酸触媒(C)の配合量が、成分(A)及び成分(B)の合計配合量100モル%に対して、0.010モル%以上1.000モル%以下である、請求項11又は12に記載の防汚性組成物溶液の製造方法。
  14.  請求項9~13のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法により得られる、防汚性組成物溶液。
  15.  下記成分(A)の加水分解物及び下記成分(B)の加水分解物に、水(E)を配合してなる溶液。
    成分(A):下記一般式(a)で表される4官能シラン系化合物
     Si(OR(X4-p   (a)
    〔一般式(a)中、Rは、炭素数1~6のアルキル基を表し、Xは、ハロゲン原子を表す。R及びXが複数存在する場合、複数のR及びXは、互いに同一でも、異なっていてもよい。pは0~4の整数を表す。〕
    成分(B):下記一般式(b)で表される3官能シラン系化合物
     RSi(OR(X3-q   (b)
