Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de fournir un système de rivaux à un dispositif de type jeu de fléchettes, le procédé permettant de fournir un système de rivaux pouvant comprendre les étapes consistant à : recevoir une requête d'enregistrement de rival en provenance d'un utilisateur ; rechercher un ou plusieurs utilisateurs candidats rivaux sur la base d'informations relatives à au moins une caractéristique de l'utilisateur, en fonction de la requête d'enregistrement de rival ; fournir, à l'utilisateur, des informations sur les caractéristiques des utilisateurs candidats rivaux ayant fait l'objet de la recherche ; sélectionner au moins un utilisateur rival parmi les utilisateurs candidats rivaux ayant fait l'objet de la recherche sur la base d'une donnée d'entrée de l'utilisateur ; transmettre un message de requête de rival à l'utilisateur candidat rival sélectionné ; et établir une relation de rival entre l'utilisateur et l'utilisateur candidat rival sélectionné, sur la base d'une donnée d'entrée provenant de l'utilisateur candidat rival sélectionné.
