The invention relates to a frame, in particular a side frame, according to the preamble of claim 1.

A side frame known from DE 10 2010 060 722 A1 has, as a functional device, a connection fitting which has a locking device which is mounted with a base section on a side frame adapter of a side frame of a drawer or is formed thereon. The invention solves this problem by the subject matter of claim 1.
