Description

The invention relates to a cover profile cover device with at least one side cover element having a longitudinal axis for a cover profile of a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer.

Such panel cover devices are already known from the prior art in a variety of designs. There is a need to attach a cover profile, which can be a front cover or an inner slide cover, to the rest of the movable furniture part, for example a drawer, using a cover fastener. The panel profile must be attached to the rest of the drawer in such a way that when the movable furniture part is handled by the user on the panel profile, tensile and compressive forces that act, for example, when a drawer is pushed in and out, are reliably transmitted to the rest of the movable furniture part. For this purpose, it is already known to design the diaphragm profiles as so-called core profiles, for example made of aluminum. With this configuration, however, several holes are required to fasten the panel fastener. This requires an additional processing step, which has an unfavorable effect on the production costs.

It is also necessary to cover the panel profile laterally with side closures. Side cover elements are used for this. From the AU505305 B2 a generic aperture profile covering device is disclosed.

It is therefore an object to provide a cover profile cover device of the type mentioned at the outset which has a cover profile which can be produced at low cost, which can be attached to the rest of the movable furniture part in a simple manner, if appropriate via a cover fastener, and to which a side cover element which can also be produced at low cost can be attached in a simple manner leaves.

This object is achieved with the features of independent claim 1. Further developments of the invention are presented in the subclaims.

The cover covering device according to the invention has at least one side cover element for a cover profile of a movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, with a longitudinal axis, the side cover element having at least one fastening projection which can be inserted into an associated fastening receptacle on the cover profile and is inserted there in the inserted state, the fastening projection at least has a jaw that can be clamped to an inner surface of the mounting receptacle. The side cover element is thus fastened in a simple manner by means of at least one clamping jaw, which can be clamped to the inner surface of the fastening receptacle manually or with the aid of actuating means after insertion into the fastening receptacle. The bracing can take place, for example, by expanding the clamping jaw.

The panel profile can be, for example, a front panel or an inner slide panel. In a particularly preferred manner, the diaphragm profile is designed as a coreless profile, for example as a coreless aluminum profile. The mounting receptacle is expediently located on the back of the panel profile. Due to the already designed mounting receptacle on the panel profile, it is no longer necessary to drill holes for attaching a panel fastener or for attaching the side cover elements to the sides of the panel profile.

According to the invention, the side cover element has at least one fastening interface for fastening a panel fastener, which in turn serves for fastening the panel profile to the rest of the movable furniture part. The side cover element is thus multifunctional and serves on the one hand to cover the side surface of the panel profile and also to attach a panel fastener, by means of which the panel profile can then be attached to the rest of the movable furniture part. In the case of a drawer, the panel profile with two side cover elements attached to it, each carrying a panel fastener, can be attached, for example, to the associated side frame of the drawer.

According to the invention, the cover profile covering device comprises at least one cover fastener which is fastened to the associated interface on the side cover element. In the case of a movable furniture part designed as a drawer, two side cover elements and respectively panel fasteners attached to the associated fastening interfaces are provided.

According to the invention, the fastening interface is coupled to the fastening projection in such a way that actuating means which serve to brace the clamping jaw also bring about the fastening of the panel fastener to the fastening interface. The actuating means can comprise, for example, mounting screws which are used to fasten the panel fastener to the associated interface on the side cover element and at the same time also ensure that the clamping jaw is braced on the inner surface of the associated fastening receptacle.

In a development of the invention, the side cover element has at least one recess which is oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis and in which the fastening projection is arranged.

According to the invention, the fastening projection has a base section on which the at least one clamping jaw is movably mounted by means of bearing means. The clamping jaw can therefore be displaced between an insertion position and a clamping position clamped to the inner surface of the fastening receptacle. This can be done, for example, by screwing in the mounting screws.

It is possible that two clamping jaws which can be moved in opposite directions to one another are mounted on the base section by means of the bearing means. In principle, however, it would also be conceivable to attach a single clamping jaw to the base section.

In a development of the invention, the base section has a T-like cross section, which in turn is equipped with a neck section and two leg sections oriented in opposite directions from one another, starting from the neck section. The T-shaped base section is expedient assigned a C-profile-like fastening receptacle on the panel profile in such a way that, when the base section is in the inserted state, the two leg sections are engaged behind by profile sections of the fastening receptacle.

In a development of the invention, the at least one fastening interface has a mounting hole which extends into the base section of the fastening projection into the region of the at least one clamping jaw. As already mentioned, a mounting screw can be inserted through the mounting hole, through which on the one hand the panel fastener is fixed to the mounting interface and on the other hand the clamping jaw is clamped into its clamping position on the inner surface of the mounting receptacle.

In a development of the invention, the at least one fastening interface has a mounting projection which projects beyond a side surface of the side cover element. The mounting projection can, for example, likewise have a T-profile-like cross section, so that it can be engaged by a corresponding C-profile-like fastening part of the panel fastener.

In a particularly preferred manner, the side cover element is designed in the manner of a strip, with a base part of elongated shape and with a strip part which is connected in one piece to the base part on a longitudinal edge, the at least one fastening projection being formed on the base part.

In a further development of the invention, the cover profile covering device comprises a cover profile of a movable furniture part, for example a drawer. The aperture profile can be designed as a front panel or as an inner panel profile or inner slide panel.

In a particularly preferred manner, the panel profile has at least one fastening receptacle in the form of a C-profile rail on a rear side. A plurality of C-profile rails are expediently provided, for example two in number, each of which is assigned a fastening projection of the side cover element.

The invention further comprises a furniture part, in particular a drawer, with a cover profile and a cover profile covering device for the cover profile, the cover profile covering device being designed according to one of claims 1 to 13.

Finally, the invention also comprises a piece of furniture with a piece of furniture, in particular a drawer, which is guided relative to a piece of furniture of the piece of furniture, the piece of furniture having a cover profile and a cover profile covering device for the cover profile, the cover profile covering device being designed according to one of claims 1 to 14.

The Figures 1 to 6 show a preferred embodiment of the cover profile cover device 11 according to the invention. The cover profile cover device 11 is shown by way of example using one that is used in a movable furniture part designed as a drawer. In principle, however, it would also be possible to use the cover profile covering device 11 on other movable furniture parts, for example other furniture pull-outs, furniture flaps or the like.

In the example, the cover profile covering device 11 comprises a cover profile 12, which is shown using the example of an inner cover profile of an inner drawer of a drawer. However, it would also be conceivable to use the cover profile covering device 11 on a front cover of a drawer. As especially in Figure 3 shown, the diaphragm profile 12 is designed as a coreless profile, which has a tabular base portion 13 with a front and back 14, 15.

On the back 15 there are several functional elements that are part of the cover profile covering device 11. On the upper edge 16 of the base section 13, a strip-like receiving angle 17 running along the upper edge 16 is attached. The receiving angle 17 has expediently been formed at the same time as the manufacture of the diaphragm profile, in particular as an extruded aluminum profile. The receiving angle 17 has a first leg 18 which extends horizontally from the upper edge 16 in the direction of the rear side 15 and a second leg 19 which is arranged essentially at right angles to the first leg and therefore runs parallel to the base section 13. The two legs 18, 19 and the base section 13 form a receiving groove 20 for receiving functional parts of a side cover element 21, as explained in more detail below.

In the area of a lower edge 22 of the base section 13 there is arranged a receiving rail 23 with a C-profile cross section. The receiving rail 23 extends over the entire width of the base section 13 on the rear side 15 thereof. The receiving rail 23 is formed by two angles 24, 25 which are arranged in mirror image relative to one another and each have a first leg 26a, 27a projecting perpendicularly from the rear side 15 and extending aligned parallel to each other. On the two first legs 26a, 27a there is a second leg 26b, 27b arranged perpendicular thereto. The two angles 24, 25 and the rear of the base section 13 define a receiving groove 28 into which assigned functional elements can be introduced on the side cover element 21.

Above the mounting rail 23 there is a bar 29 projecting perpendicularly from the rear side 15 of the base section 13, which together with the first leg 26a, the first angle 24 of the mounting rail 23 forms a further mounting groove 30. On the upper side of the first leg 26a of the first angle 24 there is a nose-like projection 31, which likewise extends over the entire width of the rear side 15 of the base section 13.

A very essential element of the cover profile covering device 11 is at least one fastening receptacle formed on the cover profile 12, two of which are provided in the example. The fastening receptacles 32a, 32b extend on the rear side 15 of the base section 13 over the entire width of the rear side 15. The two fastening receptacles 32a, 32b are configured like the receiving rail 23 in the manner of a C profile. In contrast to the receiving rail 23 on the lower edge 22 of the base section, the C-profile-like fastening receptacles 32a, 32b have a somewhat smaller cross section.

Like the mounting rail 23, the mounting receptacles 32a, 32b each have two angles 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b arranged in mirror image to one another. The angles 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b each have first legs 35a, 36a, 37a, 38a, which extend perpendicularly away from the rear side 15 of the base section 13. Furthermore, the angles 33a, 33b, 34a, 34b each have second legs 35b, 36b, 37b, 38b, which are each aligned at right angles to the first legs 35a, 36a, 37a, 38a are and run parallel to the back 15 of the base portion 13.

In order to cover and cover the two opposite longitudinal sides 39, 40 of the diaphragm profile, two side cover elements 21 are provided, of which in the Figures 1 , 2nd , 4 to 6 only one is shown.

The side cover elements 21 are multi-functional components. In the following, only a single side cover element 21 is described as an example, but the other side cover element assigned to the other long side 40 of the cover profile 12 is constructed identically.

The side cover element 21 is designed in the manner of a strip and has a base section 41 of elongated shape and a strip section 42 which is attached to the longitudinal section of the base section 41 in one piece with the latter. As especially in Figure 2 shown, the strip section 42 forms the lateral outer end of the diaphragm profile 12 equipped with the side cover element 21.

As especially in Figure 5 shown, the side cover element 21 has at least one fastening projection, in the example two fastening projections 43a, 43b, which can be inserted into the associated fastening receptacles 32a, 32b on the rear side of the base section 13 of the panel profile 12. The fastening projections 43a, 43b each have at least one clamping jaw, in the example case two clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b, each of which can be braced with an inner surface of the associated fastening receptacle 32a, 32b.

As especially in Figure 6 illustrated, the fastening projections 43a, 43b each have a base section 46 which is formed in a recess 47 which is aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis of the side cover element. The base sections 46 each have a T-like cross section, with a neck section 48 and two leg sections 49 oriented in opposite directions from the respective neck section 48.

As especially in Figure 5 As shown, the clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b are mounted on the respective fastening receptacles 32a, 32b in opposite directions and are displaceable on the respective leg sections 49 of the base sections. The clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b can, for example, have a trapezoidal shape and can be mounted in associated trapezoidal receptacles of the leg sections 49. The trapezoidal receptacles are expediently formed by two leg portion regions which are aligned in mirror image to one another and which have an approximately triangular shape in plan view, the tips of the respective triangles being aligned with one another.

As especially in Figure 5 As shown, the side cover element has a tongue 50 on its lower region, which is arranged on the inside of the strip section 42 and projects from it essentially at right angles. The tongue 50 can be inserted into the mounting rail 23 on the panel profile 12. In the upper area of the side cover element 21 there is a further tongue 51, which likewise protrudes from the inside of the strip section 42 and can be inserted into the receiving angle 17, which is open at the bottom. Finally, there is a plug-in projection 52 on the side cover element, which is also from the inside of the strip section 42 protrudes, is significantly smaller than the two other tongues 50, 51 and is used for insertion into the receiving groove 28.

As especially in Figure 4 is shown, the large tongue 50 in the width direction of the strip section 42 is preceded by a fixing projection 53, the width of which is so large that it can be accommodated between the two spaced-apart second legs 26b, 27b of the receiving rail 23.

As especially in Figure 4 shown, the side cover element 21 has at least one fastening interface, in the example two fastening interfaces 54a, 54b for fastening a panel fastener 60, which in turn serves to fasten the panel profile 12 to a side frame of the drawer. The fastening interfaces 54a, 54b each have mounting projections 55a, 55b, which are spaced apart from one another in the vertical direction and protrude beyond the side surface of the base part 41, each of which has a central mounting hole 56a, 56b. The mounting bores 56a, 56b each open out on the fastening projections 43a, 43b arranged on the rear of the base part. The mounting holes 56a, 56b are positioned such that a mounting screw 57a, 57b, which is passed through the mounting hole 56a, 56b, as shown in FIG Figure 1 is shown, can be screwed into the space between the two oppositely movable clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b.

As especially in the Figures 1 and 2nd shown, the panel fastener 60 has a latching section 61, on which a latching member 62 is movable under the action of a raising spring 63 is stored. When the tongue-like latching section 61 is inserted into a latching receptacle arranged on the side frame, the latching member 62 is pressed in against the spring force of the raising spring 63 and then latches into a latching recess (not shown) when the latching section is fully inserted. The panel fastener 60 further comprises a fastening section 64 which has two fastening legs 65a, 65b which project beyond the width of the latching section 61 and which are each provided with a fastening hole on the top, and on the underside a T-shaped shape of the mounting projection 55a, 55b at the fastening interface 54a, 54b of the side cover element have a recess.

To fasten the side cover element 21, this is first brought up to the long side 39 of the diaphragm profile to be covered with the tabs 50, 51. The tongues 50, 51 then move into the associated mounting rail on the lower edge 22 and on the mounting bracket 17 open at the bottom on the upper edge 16 of the diaphragm profile 42. Furthermore, the plug-in projection 52 moves into the receiving groove 28. The fixing projection 53 is inserted into the space between the two second legs 26b, 27b of the receiving rail. As a result, the side cover element 21 is pre-fixed, but not yet fastened to the panel profile 12. At the same time, the fastening projections 43a, 43b on the side cover element 21 move into the associated fastening receptacles 32a, 32b on the panel profile 12, the respective second legs 35b, 36b, 37b, 38b engaging behind the leg sections 49 of the base sections 46 of the fastening projections 43a, 43b.

The side cover element 21 is a multifunctional component and at the same time serves to fasten the panel fastener 60 to it via the fastening interfaces 54a, 54b and the associated mounting projections 55a, 55b. The recesses on the fastening section 64 of the panel fastener 60 are pushed laterally onto the mounting projections 55a, 55b at the fastening interfaces 54a, 54b so that they engage behind them. The two mounting screws 57a, 57b are then screwed in via the mounting holes 66a, 66b in the mounting legs 65a, 65b and screwed through the associated mounting holes 56a, 56b on the mounting projections 55a, 55b. The mounting screws 57a, 57b enter the space between the two clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b, which are moved away from each other in opposite directions by screwing in the mounting screws 57a, 57b. The clamping jaws 44a, 44b, 45a, 45b, with their contact surface, reach the inside or inside surface of the first legs 35a, 36a, 37a, 38a of the angles of the fastening receptacles 32, 32b, whereby clamping is brought about, so that the side cover element 21 counteracts Pulling out is secured to the panel profile 12. At the same time, the panel fastener 60 is also fastened to the side cover element 21.

Claims (11)

1. Trim profile covering fixture with at least one side covering element (21) with a longitudinal axis, for a trim profile (12) of a movable furniture component, in particular a drawer, wherein the side covering element (21) has at least one mounting projection (43a, 43b) which may be inserted into an assigned mounting location (32a, 32b) on the trim profile (12) and is held there in the inserted state, wherein the mounting projection (43a, 43b) has at least one clamping jaw (44a, 44b; 45a, 45b) which may be braced by an inner surface of the mounting location (32a, 32b), wherein the mounting projection (43a, 43b) has a base section (46), on which at least one clamping jaw (44a, 44b, 45a, 45b) is movably mounted using bearing means, wherein the side covering element (21) has at least one mounting interface (54a, 54) for the fixing of a trim fastener (60), which in turn is used to mount the trim profile (12) on the rest of the movable furniture component, and wherein the at least one trim fastener (60) is attached to the side covering element (21) at the assigned mounting interface (54a, 54b), characterized in that the mounting interface (54a, 54b) is connected to the mounting projection (43a, 43b) in such a way that actuating means serving for bracing of the clamping jaws (44a, 44b, 45a, 45b) also effect the fixing of the trim fastener (60) to the mounting interface (54a, 54b).
2. Trim profile covering fixture according to claim 1, characterised in that the side covering element (21) has at least one recess (47), aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis, in which the mounting projection (43a, 43b) is located.
3. Trim profile covering fixture according to claim 2, characterised in that two clamping jaws (44a, 44b, 45a, 45b), movable in opposite directions to one another, are mounted on the base section (13) by use of the bearing means.

Trim profile covering fixture according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base section (46) has a T-shaped cross-section, which in turn is equipped with a neck section (48) and two leg sections (49) oriented opposite to one another starting from the neck section (48), wherein the T-shaped base section (46) is assigned a C-profile-type mounting location on the trim profile (12) in such a way that, in the inserted state of the base section (46), the two leg sections (49) are engaged from behind by profile sections of the mounting location.

Trim profile covering fixture according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the mounting interface or interfaces (54a, 54b) has or have a fixing hole (56a, 56b), which extends into the base section (46) of the mounting projection (43a, 43b) and opens out in the area of the clamping jaw or jaws (44a, 44b, 45a, 45b).
6. Trim profile covering fixture according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the mounting interface or interfaces (54a, 54b) has or have a mounting projection (55a, 55b) which extends over a side face of the side covering element.

Trim profile covering fixture according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the side covering element (21) is rail-like in form, with a base section (41) of elongated shape and with a rail section (42) which is connected to a longitudinal edge of the base section (41), in particular in one-piece, wherein the mounting projection or projections (43a, 43b) is or are formed on the base section (41).
8. Trim profile covering fixture according to any of the preceding claims, characterised by a trim profile (12) of a movable furniture component.
9. Trim profile covering fixture according to claim 8, characterised in that the trim profile (12) has on its rear at least one mounting location in the form of a C-profile rail.
10. Furniture component, in particular a drawer, with a trim profile (12) and a trim profile covering fixture (11) for the trim profile (12), characterised in that the trim profile covering fixture (11) is designed according to any of claims 1 to 9.
11. Furniture, with a furniture component, in particular a drawer, guided relative to a furniture body of the piece of furniture, wherein the furniture component has a trim profile and a trim profile covering fixture (11) for the trim profile (12), characterised in that the trim profile covering fixture (11) is designed according to any of claims 1 to 9.
