なお、電波の到来角度を求める手段としては、例えば、複数のアンテナ素子が並べて配置された専用のアレイアンテナ(AOA(Angle of Arrival)アンテナとも言う)を用いて車載器からの電波を受信し、当該複数のアンテナ素子の各々が受信した信号の位相差に基づいて到来角度を検出する手法が考案されている。
そこで、上記のように、電波の到来角度に基づいて車両(車載器)の位置を測定する場合には、位置を測定した車両と、実際に料金収受処理を行う対象とする車両と、の関連付けを行う必要がある。
このような構成によれば、車線サーバではなく通信制御装置が主体となって、車載器の識別子と当該車載器の位置測定結果との関連付けを行う。そして、通信制御装置が、その位置測定結果に応じて、関連する識別子を含む車載器発信信号を車線サーバに転送するか否かを判断する。
したがって、車線サーバの既存の動作を変更することなく、既存の料金収受システムに位置測定機能を付加することができる。
このような構成によれば、同じタイミングで受信した電波は同一の車載器が発信したもの、という前提の下で、車載器の位置測定結果と、当該車載器が送信した車載器発信信号から抽出された識別子と、の関連付けを行う。これにより、別途、位置測定用信号から識別子を抽出して当該識別子と位置測定結果とを関連付ける処理を行う必要がないため、通信制御装置の構成を簡素化することができる。
このようにすることで、位置測定用信号に含まれる識別子を、当該位置測定用信号から抽出するので、車載器の位置測定結果と識別子との関連付けをより精度良く行うことができる。
このようにすることで、車載器からの電波を、互いに異なるアンテナ(料金収受用アンテナ、又は、位置測定用アンテナ)で、同じタイミングで受信したことを正確に検知することができ、車載器の識別子と当該車載器についての位置測定結果との関連付けを、より精度よく行うことができる。
このようにすることで、車線サーバが当該車載器発信信号を受信するタイミングが遅延しなくなる。したがって、既存の料金収受システムにおいて、車線サーバと車載器との間における各種信号の送受信のタイミングが予め定められていた場合であっても、車線サーバの既存の動作を変更することなく、位置測定機能を付加することができる。
このようにすることで、転送中の車載器発信信号に含まれる識別子が登録された許可識別子と一致しない場合には、当該転送中の車載器発信信号の一部を変化させて、当該転送中の車載器発信信号を車線サーバに認識させないようにすることができる。
このようにすることで、車載器と車線サーバとの無線通信が、通信制御装置を経由せずに行われるようになる。その結果、通信制御装置に異常が発生した場合であっても、当該通信制御装置が設けられている車線を直ちに封鎖する必要がなくなる。
以下、図1~図12を参照しながら、第1の実施形態に係る料金収受システムについて詳細に説明する。

第1の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、車線を走行する車両との間で料金収受用の無線通信を行い、当該車両を停止させることなく電子決済(料金収受処理)を完了する料金収受システムである。
このような料金収受システム1は、例えば、高速道路等の有料道路における入口料金所、出口料金所等に設けられる。図1に示すように、料金収受システム1には複数の車線Lが隣接して敷設されており、当該入口料金所、出口料金所を通過しようとする車両Aは、各車線Lのいずれかを走行する。
料金収受用アンテナ20は、支持体G(ガントリー、ポール等)を通じて複数の車線Lの各々に配置され、各車線Lを走行する車両Aを対象として無線通信を行う。具体的には、料金収受用アンテナ20は、車線Lにおける車両検知器10よりも下流側(+X方向側)であって、路面上方(+Z方向)、かつ、車線幅方向(±Y方向)中央付近に設置される。
料金収受用アンテナ20は、車線Lにおける規定通信領域Qの領域内に存在する車両Aが無線通信の対象となるように、送受可能な電波の指向性が予め設計されている。
車線サーバ21は、車両検知器10を介して車両Aの車線Lへの進入を検知した場合に、当該車両Aとの間で料金収受用の無線通信を開始すべく、料金収受用アンテナ20を通じて電波を出力する。
ここで、図1に示すように、位置測定用アンテナ22A及び位置測定用アンテナ22Bは、支持体Gの車線Lの車線幅方向において互いに異なる位置に取り付けられている。具体的には、位置測定用アンテナ22Aは、料金収受用アンテナ20に対し、車両Aの進行方向左端(+Y方向側)に配置され、位置測定用アンテナ22Bは、料金収受用アンテナ20に対し、車両Aの進行方向右端(-Y方向側)に配置されている。
このように配置されることで、位置測定用アンテナ22Aに対する電波の到来角度と、位置測定用アンテナ22Bに対する電波の到来角度と、の両方を組み合わせた三角測量により、電波を発信した車載器A1の車線L上における位置を精度良く測定することができる。
通信制御装置3の具体的な処理については後述する。
図2は、第1の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図2に示すように、通信制御装置3は、識別子抽出部30と、位置測定部31と、主制御部32と、車載器発信信号転送部33と、O/E変換部34A、34Bと、通信インターフェイス部35と、を備えている。
ここで、「車載器発信信号」とは、料金収受用の無線通信において、料金収受用アンテナ20を通じて車載器A1が車線サーバ21へと送信する信号であって、当該車載器A1を識別するための識別子を含む信号である。なお、第1の実施形態における「車載器発信信号」とは、より具体的には、狭域通信(DSRC:Dedicated Short-Range Communication)システムの標準的な通信規格であるARIB(Association of Radio Industries and Businesses)標準規格において「ACTC信号」(アクティベーションチャネル信号)として規定される信号である(以下、「車載器発信信号」を「ACTC信号D2」とも表記する)。また、第1の実施形態において、「識別子」とは、車載器A1を識別するために車載器固有に割り振られた情報であって、ARIB標準規格において「LID」(Link ID、リンクアドレスフィールド)として規定される情報である(以下、「識別子」を「LID」とも表記する)。
なお、ACTC信号D2は、例えば、ASK(amplitude-shift keying)変調方式で変調された変調信号である。識別子抽出部30は、ASK変調方式で変調されたACTC信号D2を逐次復号してLIDを抽出する。
位置測定部31は、車載器A1が発信した電波を位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bで受信して得られるIQ信号D4の入力を受け付ける。IQ信号D4には、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々に対して車載器A1が発信した電波の到来角度に応じた位相差を示す情報が含まれている。
位置測定部31は、入力された2つのIQ信号D4に基づいて、位置測定用アンテナ22Aに対する電波(車載器A1が発信した電波)の到来角度、及び、位置測定用アンテナ22Bに対する電波の到来角度を検出する。そして、位置測定部31は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々の空間的位置を示す情報(規定値)と、2種類の電波の到来角度と、を用いて三角測量演算を行うことで、車両A(車載器A1)の空間的位置を測定する。
車載器発信信号転送部33は、識別子抽出部30によって、車載器A1が送信したACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDが、主制御部32によって登録された許可識別子(後述)と一致する場合に、当該ACTC信号D2を車線サーバ21へと転送する。
また、O/E変換部34Bは、車線サーバ21から光通信ケーブルO(図1)を通じて伝送された光信号を電気信号に変換して出力する。また、O/E変換部34Aは、O/E変換部34Bによって変換された電気信号を再度光信号に変換し、光通信ケーブルO(図1)を通じて料金収受用アンテナ20に向けて伝送する。
このようにすることで、料金収受用アンテナ20と車線サーバ21との間の通信が光信号でやり取りされる場合において、通信制御装置3は、当該光信号を電気信号として取り扱うことができる。これにより、通信制御装置3は、内部に実装された既存の電気回路素子を組み合わせて、複雑な通信制御を行うことができる。
主制御部32は、ゲート信号出力部320、位置判定部321、識別子登録部322及び識別子照合部323としての機能を発揮する。
ここで、「要求信号」とは、料金収受用の無線通信において、料金収受用アンテナ20を通じて車線サーバ21が車載器A1に向けて送信する信号であって当該車載器A1に対しACTC信号D2の送信を要求するための信号である。なお、第1の実施形態における「要求信号」とは、より具体的には、ARIB標準規格において「FCMC信号」(フレームコントロールメッセージチャネル信号)として規定される信号である(以下、「要求信号」を「FCMC信号D1」とも表記する)。
また、「ゲート信号」とは、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの制御に用いる信号であって、当該位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bにおける電波の受信及びIQ信号D4の取得を指示するための信号である。即ち、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、入力されたゲート信号D3に指示される期間にのみ、IQ信号D4を取得する。
識別子照合部323は、両者が一致する場合には、ACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDと登録された許可LIDとが一致する場合に、そのことを示す信号を車載器発信信号転送部33に向けて出力する。
図3、図4は、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る車線サーバと車載器との間で行われる料金収受用の無線通信を説明する第1の図、第2の図である。
図3は、車線サーバ21が車載器A1に向けて送信するFCMC信号D1と、車載器A1が車線サーバ21に向けて送信するACTC信号D2と、のタイミングチャートを示している。
上述したARIB標準規格によれば、FCMC信号D1を受信した車載器A1は、予め異なる期間別に規定された6個のチャネル(図3に示すチャネルC1~C6)のうちの何れか一つに対応するタイミングで、当該車載器A1に予め割り振られたLIDを含むACTC信号D2を電波で送信する。
ここで、車載器A1がACTC信号D2を送信するタイミング(チャネルC1~C6)は、その送信の都度、ランダムに選択される。これにより、同一の規定通信領域Qにおいて、複数の車両A(車載器A1)が同時にFCMC信号D1を受信した場合において、当該複数の車載器A1の各々から送信されるACTC信号D2の送信のタイミングが重なって混信することを抑制することができる。
ここで、「ACTC信号D2を正しく受信することができない」とは、例えば、複数の車載器A1によってランダムに選択されたチャネルC1~C6がたまたま重なってしまい、ACTC信号D2が混信した場合である。この場合、車線サーバ21がFCMC信号D1を再度送信することで、複数の車載器A1は、再度、チャネルC1~C6をランダムに選択してACTC信号D2を再送信する。そして、複数の車載器A1の各々が、互いに異なるチャネルC1~C6を選択した場合には混信が解消される。
ここで、CRCとは、一般に、送信すべき一連の信号(データ列)の配列パターンに基づいて、当該一連の信号の最後尾に付される情報である。具体的には、送信側(車載器A1)は、送信すべきデータ列をもとに予め定められた除算を行い、その余りをチェック用の値として追加した上で送信する。受信側(車線サーバ21)では、受け取ったデータ列を元に同じ計算を行い、その結果をチェック用の値と比較してデータ破損の有無を判断する。
即ち、車線サーバ21は、ACTC信号D2の最後尾に付されたCRCをチェックするとともに、これが受信したACTC信号D2のデータ列に整合しないと判定した場合には、当該ACTC信号D2を送信した車載器A1に対しては通信リンクの確立を行わない。したがって、車載器A1は、次回のFCMC信号D1に対して再度ACTC信号D2を送信する。
同様に、2回目のFCMC信号D1を送信した時刻tfbから、車載器A1がACTC信号D2を返信する時刻tb1、tb2、・・・までの期間も予め固定されている。ここで、時刻tb1、tb2、・・・、tb6は、時刻tfbに送信されたFCMC信号D1に対するACTC信号D2の送信開始時刻であって、それぞれ、チャネルC1、C2、・・・、C6の各々の開始時刻である。
また、図3に示す期間tiは、車線サーバ21によるFCMC信号D1の再送が行われた場合において、1回目のFCMC信号D1に対する最も遅いACTC信号D2(チャネルC6)の送信が完了した時刻から、2回目のFCMC信号D1に対する最も早いACTC信号D2(チャネルC1)の送信が開始されるまでのインターバル期間である。
図4に示すように、ARIB標準規格において、ACTC信号D2には、PR(プリアンブル)、UW2(ユニークワード)、FID(識別番号フィールド)、LID、LRI(リンク要求情報フィールド)、CRCが含まれる。
ここで、PR(プリアンブル)は、ACTC信号D2の先頭に付される情報であって、受信側(車線サーバ21)で受信処理の同期をとるために設けられたデータ列である。また、UW2(ユニークワード)は、このUW2を含む信号の種類を識別するための情報である。ACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2には、この信号が“ACTC信号”であることを示す情報(“ACTC”)含まれている。
また、LIDには、送信元である車載器A1の個々を識別するための情報(例えば、“LID-0013”)が含まれている。
なお、CRCについては、既に説明した通りである。図4に示す通り、ACTC信号D2において、CRCは、LIDよりも後に送信される。
また、FID(識別番号フィールド)及びLRI(リンク要求情報フィールド)については説明を省略する。
図5は、第1の実施形態に係る識別子抽出部30の機能を説明する図である。
識別子抽出部30は、料金収受用アンテナ20から車線サーバ21に向けて送信されるACTC信号D2を常時監視している(図2のブロック図参照)。識別子抽出部30は、ACTC信号D2の入力を受け付ける度に、当該ACTC信号D2を逐次復号して、UW2と、LIDと、を抽出する。そして、識別子抽出部30は、各ACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2とLIDとを、当該ACTC信号D2が送信されたタイミングであるチャネルC1~C6に関連付けて一時的に記録する。
例えば、図3に示したように、一回のFCMC信号D1の送信に対して、2つの異なる車載器A1から、それぞれ、チャネルC2及びチャネルC5の期間でACTC信号D2が送信されたとする。この場合、識別子抽出部30は、チャネルC2に受信したACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2(“ACTC”)及びLID(“LID-0013”)と、チャネルC5に受信したACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2(“ACTC”)及びLID(“LID-0201”)と、をそれぞれ記録して、図5に示すような識別子抽出情報を作成する。
なお、識別子抽出部30は、ACTC信号D2を受信しなかった他のチャネルC1、C3、C4、C6については、UW2、LIDについての情報を記録しない。
図6は、第1の実施形態に係る位置測定用アンテナの回路構成を示す図である。
図6に示すように、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、アンテナ素子220と、検波増幅器221と、ANDゲート部222と、A/D変換器223と、I/Qデータ演算部224と、を備えている。
アンテナ素子220は、車載器A1から発信される電波を受信する素子である。アンテナ素子220は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの本体内部において、所定の間隔を空けて、アレイ状に複数設けられている。各アンテナ素子220は、受信した電波に応じた高周波信号(アナログ信号)を、検波増幅器221に向けて出力する。
検波増幅器221は、電波の受信に応じてアンテナ素子220から出力された高周波信号を検波及び増幅して出力する。
ANDゲート部222は、通信インターフェイス部35(図2)を介して、ゲート信号出力部320(図2)が出力するゲート信号D3の入力を受け付ける。そして、ANDゲート部222は、ゲート信号D3が“ON”(高電位)となる期間のみ、検波増幅器221で増幅された高周波信号をA/D変換器223に出力する。
A/D変換器223は、ANDゲート部222を介して入力されたアナログ信号(高周波信号)をデジタル信号(サンプリングデータ)に変換する。
I/Qデータ演算部224は、A/D変換器223を通じて入力されたデジタル信号に基づいて、各アンテナ素子220で受信した各高周波信号の位相を示すI/Qデータを生成し、IQ信号D4を出力する。
また、図6に示す車載器A1とは異なる他の車載器A1は、チャネルC5の開始時刻ta5に電波を発信したとする。この場合、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、ゲート信号D3によって示されたチャネルC5に対応するON期間(時刻ta5から開始されるON期間)において、当該車載器A1が発信した電波を受信する。この場合、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、取得したIQ信号D4が、チャネルC5の期間に受信した電波に基づくものであることを関連付けて出力する。
このように、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、ゲート信号出力部320から入力されるゲート信号D3に基づいて動作することで、車載器A1から電波を受信したタイミング(チャネルC1~C6)と、当該電波の受信により得られたIQ信号D4と、を関連付けて出力することができる。
図7は、第1の実施形態に係る位置測定部の機能を説明する図である。
位置測定部31は、通信インターフェイス部35を介して、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々からIQ信号D4の入力を受け付ける。位置測定部31は、IQ信号D4が入力されると、当該IQ信号D4に示される位相差に基づいて、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々に対し、車載器A1から発信された電波が到来した角度を算出する。そして、位置測定部31は、位置測定用アンテナ22Aに対する電波の到来角度と、位置測定用アンテナ22Bに対する電波の到来角度と、に基づいて、三角測量演算を行い、空間内における車載器A1の位置を測定する。
例えば、チャネルC2及びチャネルC5の期間において車載器A1からの電波の受信があった場合には、位置測定部31は、図7に示すように、チャネルC2に関連するIQ信号D4(チャネルC2の期間に取得された電波に基づくIQ信号D4)に基づいて算出された空間内の位置測定結果(X2、Y2、Z2)と、チャネルC5に関連するIQ信号D4に基づいて算出された空間内の位置測定結果(X5、Y5、Z5)と、を算出する。
そして、位置判定部321は、位置測定部31から入力された位置測定情報に基づいて、各車載器A1が予め規定された規定通信領域Q内に存在するか否かを判定する。
具体的には、位置判定部321は、規定通信領域Qの空間的範囲に応じた判定閾値(例えば、X軸閾値Qxa、Qxb、Y軸閾値Qya、Qyb、及び、Z軸閾値Qza、Qzb)を予め保持している(Z軸閾値Qza、Qzbに関しては、車載器A1が車両Aに搭載される高さに応じた値(例えば、Qza=0.5m、Qzb=2.0m等)に規定される)。そして、位置判定部321は、車載器A1の位置測定結果と、上記判定閾値とを比較して、予め規定された判定条件(例えば、Qxa<X2<Qxb、Qya<Y2<Qyb、Qza<Z2<Qzb)を満たしているか否かを判定する。
識別子登録部322は、位置判定部321により、IQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在すると判定された場合に、当該IQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
例えば、位置判定部321が、図7に示す位置測定情報に基づいて、チャネルC2、チャネルC5の各々に関連する位置測定結果(X2、Y2、Z2)、(X5、Y5、Z5)の両方が規定通信領域Q内に存在すると判定したとする。この場合、識別子登録部322は、識別子抽出部30が記録した識別子抽出情報(図5)を参照して、チャネルC2に関連付けられたLID(“LID-0013”)と、チャネルC5に関連付けられたLID(“LID-0201”)と、を許可LIDとして登録する。これにより、識別子登録部322は、図8に示すような許可識別子情報を生成する。
ここで、チャネルC1~C6が同一であるということは、料金収受用アンテナ20がACTC信号D2を得るための電波を受信したタイミングと、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22BがIQ信号D4を得るための電波を受信したタイミングと、が一致するということである。
即ち、識別子登録部322は、あるIQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在する場合に、当該IQ信号D4を得た際に、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bにおいて車載器A1からの電波を受信したタイミングと同じタイミングで、当該電波を料金収受用アンテナ20で受信して得られたACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
図9~図12は、それぞれ、第1の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの処理フローを示す第1の図~第4の図である。
以下、図9~図12及び図2を参照しながら、料金収受システム1が車両Aとの間で行う料金収受処理全体の流れについて説明する。
まず、時刻t0において、車線サーバ21が、車両検知器10(図1)を通じて、車両Aの進入を検知したとする。この場合、車線サーバ21は、時刻t0の直後の時刻tfaにおいて、FCMC信号D1の送信を開始する(ステップS001)。
なお、ステップS202において車載器A1が送信するACTC信号D2には、例えば、図9に示すように、“ACTC”の情報を有するUW2、“LID-0013”の情報を有するLID、及び、ACTC信号D2の各種情報に基づいて算出された正常なCRCが含まれている。
なお、通信制御装置3の車載器発信信号転送部33は、料金収受用アンテナ20からACTC信号D2の入力が開始されると、後述するLID照合処理(ステップS104)と並行して、当該ACTC信号D2を遅延させることなく、そのまま車線サーバ21に向けて逐次転送する。
具体的には、識別子抽出部30は、まず、ACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2の入力を受け付けた段階で当該UW2を抽出する(ステップS102)。識別子抽出部30は、現在転送されている車載器A1からの信号が“ACTC信号”であることを示すUW2の抽出結果(“ACTC”)を車載器発信信号転送部33に出力する。
次に、識別子抽出部30は、ACTC信号D2においてUW2の後段に含まれるLIDの入力を受け付けた段階で、当該LIDを抽出する(ステップS103)。識別子抽出部30は、LIDの抽出結果(“LID-0013”)を直ちに主制御部32の識別子照合部323(図2)に出力する。
即ち、車載器発信信号転送部33は、車線サーバ21に転送している最中にあるACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDが、登録された許可LIDと一致しない場合には、当該ACTC信号D2に含まれる情報であってLIDよりも後に送信されるCRCを変化させて車線サーバ21に転送する。例えば、車載器発信信号転送部33は、ACTC信号D2の最後尾に付されるCRCを全て“0”に置き換えて、車線サーバ21に転送する。
その結果、ステップS002において車線サーバ21が受信するACTC信号D2は、異常CRCを含むものとなる。したがって、車線サーバ21は、受信したACTC信号D2が不正であるものと判断し、2回目のFCMC信号D1を送信する(2回目のFCMC信号D1については、図12を用いて後述する)。
図10におけるステップS001及びステップS101は、図9に示した各ステップと同一である。上述したように、通信制御装置3のゲート信号出力部320(図2)は、ステップS101のタイミングを基準にして時間計測を開始し、予め規定されたチャネルC1~C6に対応する期間に“ON”となるゲート信号D3を出力する。
図11に示すように、位置測定部31は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々からIQ信号D4を取得した後、当該IQ信号D4に基づいて位置測定処理を行う(ステップS107)。ここで、位置測定部31は、IQ信号D4に示される電波の到来角度を用いて三角測量演算を行い、当該電波を発信した車載器A1の空間的位置を算出する。これにより、位置測定部31は、車載器A1の空間的位置を示す位置測定結果を、当該車載器A1からの電波を受信したタイミング(チャネルC1~C6)に関連付けて、位置測定情報(図7)を生成する。
位置測定部31は、ステップS107で生成した位置測定情報を直ちに、位置判定部321に出力する。
識別子登録部322は、上記関連するLID(“LID-0013”)を許可LIDとして登録し、許可識別子情報(図8)を生成する。
なお、ステップS204において車載器A1が送信するACTC信号D2には、ステップS202(図9)と同様に、“ACTC”の情報を有するUW2、“LID-0013”の情報を有するLID、及び、ACTC信号D2の各種情報に基づいて算出された正常なCRCが含まれている。
なお、通信制御装置3の車載器発信信号転送部33は、料金収受用アンテナ20からACTC信号D2の入力が開始されると、後述するLID照合処理(ステップS113)と並行して、当該ACTC信号D2を遅延させることなく、そのまま車線サーバ21に向けて逐次転送する。
次に、識別子抽出部30は、ACTC信号D2においてUW2の後段に含まれるLIDの入力を受け付けた段階で、当該LIDを抽出する(ステップS112)。識別子抽出部30は、LIDの抽出結果(“LID-0013”)を直ちに主制御部32の識別子照合部323(図2)に出力する。
即ち、車載器発信信号転送部33は、車線サーバ21に転送している最中にあるACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDが、登録された許可LIDと一致した場合には、当該ACTC信号D2に含まれる情報であってLIDよりも後に送信されるCRCを変化させずに車線サーバ21に転送する。
その結果、ステップS004において車線サーバ21が受信するACTC信号D2は、正常CRCを含むものとなる。したがって、車線サーバ21は、受信したACTC信号D2が正規のものと判断し、LIDで示される車載器A1と通信リンクを確立し、実体的な料金収受処理を行う。
以上のとおり、第1の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、料金収受用アンテナ20を通じて、車線Lを走行する車両Aに搭載された車載器A1と、当該車両Aに対する料金収受処理を行う車線サーバ21と、の間で行われる無線通信の通信制御を行う通信制御装置3を備えている。
ここで、上述したように、第1の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3は、車載器A1が発信する電波を料金収受用アンテナ20で受信して得られるACTC信号D2から、当該車載器A1を識別するためのLIDを抽出する識別子抽出部30を備えている。また、通信制御装置3は、車載器A1が発信する電波を位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bで受信して得られるIQ信号D4に基づいて、当該電波を発信した車載器A1の位置を測定する位置測定部31を備えている。また、通信制御装置3は、IQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が予め規定された規定通信領域Q内に存在する場合に、当該IQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDを許可LIDとして登録する識別子登録部322を備えている。更に、通信制御装置3は、ACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDが、登録された許可LIDと一致する場合に、当該ACTC信号D2を車線サーバ21へと転送する車載器発信信号転送部33を備えている。
即ち、通信制御装置3は、まず、車載器A1が送信したACTC信号D2から当該車載器A1のLIDを抽出し、また、この処理と並列して、当該ACTC信号D2に関連するIQ信号D4に基づいて当該車載器A1の位置を測定する。
そして、通信制御装置3は、IQ信号D4に基づく位置測定の結果、対象とする車載器A1が規定通信領域Q内に存在すると判断された場合には、そのIQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
更に、通信制御装置3は、ACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDが、許可LIDとして登録されている場合にのみ、受信したACTC信号D2をそのまま車線サーバ21へと転送する。
そうすると、車線サーバ21が主体となって車載器A1のLIDと当該車載器A1の位置測定結果との関連付けを行わなくとも、料金収受システム1において、正規の位置(規定通信領域Q内)に存在する車載器A1のみを対象に料金収受処理を行う、という機能を実現することができる。
したがって、第1の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3によれば、車線サーバ21の既存の動作を変更することなく、既存の料金収受システムに位置測定機能を付加することができる。
換言すると、識別子登録部322は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bにおける電波の受信のタイミングと、料金収受用アンテナ20における電波の受信のタイミングと、が同じであって、当該電波を位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bで受信して得られたIQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在する場合には、当該電波を料金収受用アンテナ20で受信して得られたACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。 即ち、識別子登録部322は、同じタイミングで受信した電波は同一の車載器A1が発信したもの、という前提の下で、車載器A1の位置測定結果と、ACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDとの関連付けを行い、規定通信領域Q内に存在する車載器A1のLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
このようにすることで、車載器A1の位置測定を行うための機能構成(位置測定用アンテナ22A、22B、及び、位置測定部31)に加え、別途、IQ信号D4からLIDを抽出して、位置測定結果と関連付ける必要がないので、通信制御装置3の構成を簡素化することができる。
このようにすることで、IQ信号D4を得るために車載器A1からの電波を位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bで受信したタイミングと、ACTC信号D2を得るために当該電波を料金収受用アンテナ20で受信したタイミングと、が一致しているか否かを、FCMC信号D1の送信のタイミングを基準にして把握することができる。
他方、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bにて受信した電波がノイズ等ではなく、目的とする電波(車載器A1から発信された、ACTC信号A2を含む電波)であるか否かを正確に判断するためには、通常、当該電波の解読(復号)が必要となる。そうすると、電波の解読を実現する新たな機能を付加する必要が生じ、回路構成の複雑化、製造コストの上昇を招く。
本実施形態においては、FCMC信号D1の送信時点から、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bにて車載器からの電波(ACTC信号D2)を受信するタイミングを指定することで、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22B側で受信した電波の解読が不要になり、回路構成の簡素化、コスト低減が図られる。
したがって、車載器A1からの電波を、互いに異なるアンテナ(料金収受用アンテナ20、又は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22B)で、同じタイミングで受信したことを正確に検知することができ、LIDと位置測定結果との関連付けを、より精度よく行うことができる。
即ち、通信制御装置3は、現在転送中のACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDと許可LIDとが一致するか否かの判定を行いながらも、車線サーバ21が当該ACTC信号D2を受信するタイミングを遅延させない。
このようにすることで、車線サーバ21は、通信制御装置3を介さないで料金収受用の無線通信を行う場合と同じ送受信のタイミングで、車載器A1との無線通信を行うことができる。
したがって、既存の料金収受システムにおいて、(ARIB標準規格等の通信規格により)車線サーバ21と車載器A1との間における各種信号の送受信のタイミングが予め定められていた場合であっても、車線サーバ21の既存の動作を変更することなく、位置測定機能を付加することができる。
このようにすることで、転送中のACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDが登録された許可LIDと一致しない場合には、当該転送中のACTC信号D2のCRCを変化させて、当該転送中のACTC信号D2を車線サーバ21に認識させないようにすることができる。
したがって、通信制御装置3は、車載器A1の位置測定結果に応じて、車載器A1から車線サーバ21に向けてのACTC信号D2の送信を制御することができる。
このようにすることで、車載器A1が送信するACTC信号D2以外の信号が、車線サーバ21へ転送されなくなることを防止することができる。したがって、一旦、車線サーバ21と車載器A1との通信リンクが確立された後は、料金収受用の無線通信が通信制御装置3によって遮断されることを防止することができる。
次に、図13、図14を参照しながら、第2の実施形態に係る料金収受システムについて詳細に説明する。
図13は、第2の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
なお、図13において、第1の実施形態と同一の機能構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
復号部36は、通信インターフェイス部35を介して位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々から入力されたIQ信号D4に重畳される各種情報(ACTC信号D2に含まれる情報)を復号して、当該各種情報を抽出する。
ここで、IQ信号D4は、車載器A1がACTC信号D2を送信するために発信する電波が基となっているから、IQ信号D4にもACTC信号D2と同様の変調がなされている。復号部36は、このIQ信号D4を復号して、ACTC信号D2に含まれる情報を抽出する。
図14は、第2の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの処理フローを示す図である。
次に、図13、図14を参照しながら、料金収受用の無線通信が開始された直後に、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bを介して行われる位置測定処理の流れについて説明する。
そして、復号部36は、LIDが重畳されているIQ信号D4の入力を受け付けた段階で、当該LIDを抽出する(ステップS106a)。
ここで、識別子登録部322は、ステップS106で入力されたIQ信号D4に基づいて測定された位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在すると判定された場合には、ステップS106aで抽出されたLIDを、許可LIDとして登録する。ここで、ステップS106aで抽出されたLIDとは、ステップS106で入力されたIQ信号D4に重畳されたLIDであって、当該IQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDと同一のものである。
即ち、識別子登録部322は、IQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在する場合に、当該IQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDとして、復号部36によって当該IQ信号D4から直接抽出されたLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
以上のように、第2の実施形態に係る識別子登録部322は、IQ信号D4に基づいて測定された車載器A1の位置が規定通信領域Q内に存在する場合に、当該IQ信号D4に関連するACTC信号D2に含まれるLIDであって、当該IQ信号D4から抽出されたLIDを許可LIDとして登録する。
このようにすることで、IQ信号D4に重畳されるLIDを、当該IQ信号D4から抽出するので、車載器A1の位置測定結果とLIDとの関連付けをより精度良く行うことができる。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3は、ゲート信号出力部320を具備しない態様であってもよい。即ち、復号部36は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bから入力されるIQ信号D4を逐次復号して、当該IQ信号D4に重畳された情報(関連するACTC信号D2に含まれる情報と同一の情報)を抽出することができる。したがって、復号部36は、ゲート信号D3を利用しなくとも、自ら同期をとってLIDを精度良く抽出することが可能である。例えば、復号部36は、IQ信号D4に重畳されたPR(プリアンブル、図4参照)を基準として、受信中のIQ信号D4の中からLIDとして抽出すべきタイミングを把握することができる。
そこで、他の実施形態に係る復号部36は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々から入力されたIQ信号D4の両方からLIDを抽出するようにしてもよい。そして、識別子登録部322は、各IQ信号D4に基づいて車載器A1が規定通信領域Q内に存在すると判定された場合であって、かつ、各IQ信号D4から抽出された各LIDが一致する場合に、当該LIDを許可LIDとして登録するようにしてもよい。
即ち、識別子登録部322は、位置測定用アンテナ22Aが受信した電波に基づくIQ信号D4から抽出されたLIDと、位置測定用アンテナ22Bが受信した電波に基づくIQ信号D4から抽出されたLIDと、の対比結果に応じて、許可LIDとして登録するか否かを判断する。
このようにすることで、上記のような事象が生じた場合であっても、誤ったLIDを許可LIDとして登録して誤作動を起こすことがなくなるため、一つの車載器A1のLIDと、当該一つの車載器A1に対する位置測定結果と、をより確実に関連付けることができる。
このようにすることで、一つの車載器A1のLIDと、当該一つの車載器A1に対する位置測定結果と、を一層確実に関連付けることができる。
次に、図15を参照しながら、第3の実施形態に係る料金収受システムについて説明する。
図15は、第3の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図15に示すように、第3の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、料金収受用アンテナ20、車線サーバ21、通信制御装置3に加え、リレー回路部4を更に備えている。
リレー回路部4は、料金収受用アンテナ20と車線サーバ21とを、通信制御装置3を経由せずに直接接続可能とするリレー回路であって、スイッチ40Aと、40Bと、バイパス配線41と、を備えてなる。
また、通信制御装置3は、当該通信制御装置3が正常に動作しているか否かを診断する自己診断機能部(図示せず)を有している。通信制御装置3は、自己診断機能部の診断結果に基づいて、当該通信制御装置3が正常に動作していることを示す正常動作信号D5を常時出力する。
スイッチ40Aは、料金収受用アンテナ20と通信制御装置3との接続、及び、料金収受用アンテナ20とバイパス配線41との接続を相互に切り替え可能とする。
スイッチ40Bは、通信制御装置3と車線サーバ21との接続、及び、バイパス配線41と車線サーバ21との接続を相互に切り替え可能とする。
スイッチ40A、40Bは、それぞれ、非ラッチ式のスイッチである。
即ち、スイッチ40Aは、電力供給源5からの電力供給を受け、かつ、通信制御装置3から正常動作信号D5の入力を受け付けている場合に、料金収受用アンテナ20と通信制御装置3とを接続する。また、スイッチ40Aは、電力供給源5からの電力供給を受け付けていない場合、または、通信制御装置3から正常動作信号D5の入力を受け付けていない場合に、料金収受用アンテナ20とバイパス配線41とを接続する。
また、スイッチ40Bは、電力供給源5からの電力供給を受け、かつ、通信制御装置3から正常動作信号D5の入力を受け付けている場合に、通信制御装置3と車線サーバ21とを接続する。また、スイッチ40Bは、電力供給源5からの電力供給を受け付けていない場合、または、通信制御装置3から正常動作信号D5の入力を受け付けていない場合に、バイパス配線41と車線サーバ21とを接続する。
第1、第2の実施形態では、車載器A1と車線サーバ21との間の料金収受用の無線通信が、常に、通信制御装置3を経由して行われる。そうすると、上記のような通信制御装置3における異常が発生した場合、当該通信制御装置3が設けられた車線L(図1)では、直ちに、料金収受処理が不能となる。したがって、通信制御装置3に異常が発生した場合には、直ちに、車線Lを封鎖する必要が生じる。
以上、第1~第3の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1について詳細に説明したが、第1~第3の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1の具体的な態様は、上述のものに限定されることはなく、要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において種々の設計変更等を加えることは可能である。
例えば、「車載器発信信号」は、ARIB標準規格に規定される「ACTC信号」に限定されるものではなく、車載器A1から車線サーバ21に向けて送信される信号であって、車載器A1を固有に識別する識別子(LID)を含むものであれば如何なる態様の信号であってもよい。
同様に、「要求信号」は、ARIB標準規格に規定される「FCMC信号」に限定されるものではなく、車線サーバ21が、車載器A1に対し、車載器発信信号の送信(返信)を求める目的とする信号であれば如何なる態様の信号であってもよい。
例えば、他の実施形態においては、単一の位置測定用アンテナに対する電波の到来角度と、車両Aが走行する車線Lの路面と、の位置関係に基づいて車両A(車載器A1)の位置を測定する態様であってもよい。
例えば、他の実施形態においては、料金収受用アンテナ20と車線サーバ21とが電気通信ケーブルによって接続される態様であってもよい。この場合、通信制御装置3は、O/E変換部34A、34B(図2、図13)を具備しなくともよい。
また、通信制御装置3は、各種機能構成が単一の装置筐体に収められる態様に限定されず、通信制御装置3が有する各種機能構成が、ネットワークで接続される複数の装置に渡って具備される態様であってもよい。
次に、図16~図20を参照しながら、第4の実施形態及びその変形例に係る料金収受システム及び通信領域規定方法について説明する。
図16は、第4の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの全体構成を示す図である。
図16において、第1~第3の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
なお、第4の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1に設置される位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bは、第1~第3の実施形態と同様に、電波を発信する対象の位置を測定するために用いられるアンテナであって、受信した電波の到来角度を計測可能とするアレイアンテナ(AOAアンテナ)である。
ここで、料金収受システム1の運用において、規定通信領域Q内に存在する車載器A1(図1)のみを料金収受用の通信対象とするためには、車載器A1との無線通信の可否を判定するための判定条件を、規定通信領域Qの境界線に対応させて設定する必要がある。
この工程において、料金収受システム1の管理者は、まず、各車線L上に、基準発信器A21、A22(以下、基準発信器A21、A22、・・・を総称して基準発信器A2とも表記する。)を配置する。図16に示すように、基準発信器A21、A22は、それぞれ、車線L上において長方形状に規定しようとする規定通信領域Qの境界線上であって、当該規定通信領域Qの対角に位置する2つの頂点の各々に配置される。
また、基準発信器A21、A22が送信するACTC信号D2には、当該基準発信器A21、A22の各々を個別に識別可能な基準用識別子(LID)が含まれている。
図17は、第4の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図17において、第1~第3の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
図17に示すように、第4の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、規定通信領域Q(図16)の境界線上に配置された基準発信器A2を無線通信の対象とする。
判定条件設定部321aは、複数の基準発信器A2の各々についての位置測定結果に基づいて、車載器A1(図1)を料金収受用の通信対象とするか否かの判定条件を設定する。
図18は、第4の実施形態に係る判定条件設定部の機能を説明する第1の図である。
図18は、予め用意された情報であって、各基準発信器A2に個別に割り振られた基準用識別子の一覧が記録された基準用識別子情報である。基準用識別子情報には、各基準発信器A2に割り振られた複数の基準用識別子が、予め決められた順序で記録されている。
例えば、一回のFCMC信号D1の送信に対して、2つの基準発信器A2(基準発信器A21、A22(図1))から、それぞれ異なるチャネルC1~C6でACTC信号D2が送信されたとする。この場合、識別子抽出部30は、チャネルC1~C6の何れかに受信した2つのACTC信号D2に含まれるUW2及びLID(基準用識別子)をそれぞれ記録して、識別子抽出情報を作成する(図5参照)。
ここで、基準用識別子と、位置測定結果との関連付けの態様は、第1の実施形態の識別子登録部322と同様である。即ち、第4の実施形態に係る判定条件設定部321aは、識別子抽出部30がACTC信号D2から抽出した各LID(図5)と、位置測定部31がIQ信号D4に基づいて測定した各位置測定結果(図7)と、を同一のチャネルC1~C6で関連付けるものとする。
図19に示すように、判定条件設定部321aは、車線L上に配置された2つの基準発信器A21、A22の各々が発信した電波に基づいて、当該基準発信器A21、A22の基準用識別子(“LID-0001”、“LID-0002”)と、位置測定結果(“Qx1、Qy1、Qz1”、“Qx2、Qy2、Qz2”)と、を取得する。
具体的には、判定条件設定部321aは、基準発信器A21、A22各々のX軸についての位置測定結果“Qx1”、“Qx2”をX軸閾値とし、かつ、基準発信器A21、A22各々のY軸についての位置測定結果“Qy1”、“Qy2”をY軸閾値として、判定条件を設定する。
また、Z軸閾値に関しては、車載器A1の車両Aにおける設置高さがある程度制約されるため、判定条件設定部321aは、例えば、“0.5m”及び“2.0m”をZ軸閾値として、判定条件を設定する。
これにより、位置判定部321は、車載器A1についての位置測定結果(X、Y、Z)が取得された場合に、当該車載器A1が、“Qx2<X<Qx1”、“Qy2<Y<Qy1”、及び、“0.5m<Z<2.0m”の判定条件を満たすか否か、を判定することにより、当該車載器A1との無線通信の可否を判定する。
以上の通り、第4の実施形態に係る通信領域規定方法は、料金収受システム1の運用に際し、規定通信領域Qを規定する方法であって、規定しようとする規定通信領域Qの境界線上における複数の位置に、電波を発信可能な基準発信器A2を配置する発信器配置工程を有する。また、通信領域規定方法は、複数の基準発信器A2が発信する電波を位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bで受信して得られたIQ信号D4に基づいて、複数の基準発信器A2の各々の位置を測定する位置測定工程を有する。更に、通信領域規定方法は、複数の基準発信器A2についての位置測定結果に基づいて、車載器A1を料金収受用の通信対象とするか否かの判定条件を設定する判定条件設定工程と、を有している。
このようにすることで、基準発信器A2を車載器A1と同等に扱うことができるので、料金収受システムが有する車載器A1の位置を測定する各種機能を利用して、より簡素に、基準発信器A2についての位置測定結果を取得することができる。
即ち、第4の実施形態においては、基準発信器A2は、規定通信領域Qの判定条件を新たに設定する工程を終了した後には取り外されるものである。したがって、基準用識別子は、走行する車両Aに搭載された車載器A1と区別された、基準発信器A2固有の識別子でなくともよい。
しかし、他の実施形態においてはこの態様に限定されない。
例えば、判定条件設定部321aは、縦(±X方向)、横(±Y方向)及び高さ(±Z方向)がそれぞれ異なるように配置された2つの基準発信器A21、A22の位置を対角の頂点とし、車線Lの延在方向(±X方向)に平行な辺を有し、かつ、路面(XY平面)に平行な面を有する直方体を、規定通信領域Qとして規定する態様であってもよい。この場合、判定条件設定部321aは、基準発信器A21、A22各々のX軸についての位置測定結果“Qx1”、“Qx2”をX軸閾値とし、基準発信器A21、A22各々のY軸についての位置測定結果“Qy1”、“Qy2”をY軸閾値とし、更に、基準発信器A21、A22各々のZ軸についての位置測定結果“Qz1”、“Qz2”をZ軸閾値として判定条件を設定する。
図20は、第4の実施形態の変形例に係る判定条件設定部の機能を説明する図である。
第4の実施形態に係る判定条件設定部321a(図17)は、2つの基準発信器A21、A22が配置される位置を対角の頂点とし、車線Lの延在方向に平行な辺を有する長方形を規定通信領域Qとして規定するものとして説明した。しかし、他の実施形態においてはこの態様に限定されない。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る判定条件設定部321aは、車線L上に3つ以上配置された各基準発信器A2の位置を頂点とする多角形を規定通信領域Qとして規定するものとしてもよい。
以下、第4の実施形態の変形例として、6個の基準発信器A21~A26を用いて規定通信領域Qを規定する方法について、図20を参照しながら説明する。
具体的には、判定条件設定部321aは、基準用識別子情報の1行目に記録された“LID-0001”に示される基準発信器A21の位置と、基準用識別子情報の2行目に記録された“LID-0002”に示される基準発信器A22の位置と、を直線で結んでなる境界線q1を設定する。この境界線q1は、XY座標平面上において、位置測定結果(Qx1、Qy1、Qz1)と、位置測定結果(Qx2、Qy2、Qz2)と、を結ぶ直線として設定される。
同様に、判定条件設定部321aは、基準用識別子情報の2行目に記録された“LID-0002”に示される基準発信器A22の位置と、基準用識別子情報の3行目に記録された“LID-0003”に示される基準発信器A23の位置と、を直線で結んでなる境界線q2を設定する。この境界線q2は、XY座標平面上において、位置測定結果(Qx2、Qy2、Qz2)と、位置測定結果(Qx3、Qy3、Qz3)と、を結ぶ直線として設定される。
即ち、本変形例に係る判定条件設定部321aは、複数の基準発信器A21~A26を識別するための各基準用識別子を読み取るとともに、上述のような基準用識別子情報を参照して、判定条件を設定する。
即ち、他の実施形態においては、基準発信器A2は、料金収受システム1の構成の一つとして常設される態様であってもよい。
ここで、料金収受システム1の周囲環境(気温や湿度等)の変化に起因して、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bによる電波の受信特性が変動し得ることが知られている。そうすると、当該気温や湿度の変化に起因して、車載器A1や基準発信器A2についての位置測定結果に若干の誤差が生じ得る。したがって、通常の運用前の段階で、基準発信器A2を配置して規定通信領域Qに整合する判定条件を設定した場合であっても、その後に生じた気温や湿度の変化に起因して、規定通信領域Qが当初の状態から変動してしまうことが懸念される。
一方、上述のように、基準発信器A2を常設して、通常の運用中においても逐次判定条件を更新することで、気温や湿度の変化に関わらず、常に、基準発信器A2の位置測定結果に応じた規定通信領域Qが規定される。これにより、規定通信領域Qを一層精度良く規定することができる。
次に、図21を参照しながら、第5の実施形態に係る料金収受システムについて説明する。
図21は、第5の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図21において、第1~第4の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
また、第5の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3の主制御部32は、第1~第4の実施形態で説明した各種機能に加え、更に、異常検出部324としての機能を有している。
異常検出部324は、基準発信器A2についての位置測定結果に基づいて、当該位置測定結果を取得するまでの過程に異常が生じていることを検出する。
比較の結果、第1位置測定結果(Qx1、Qy1、Qz1)と、第2位置測定結果(Qx1’、Qy1’、Qz1’)との誤差成分(ΔQx、ΔQy、ΔQz)が予め規定された所定の誤差許容量を上回る場合には、異常検出部324は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bに何らかの異常が生じたものと見なして、その旨を料金収受システム1の管理者に通知する。
なお、上述の誤差許容量は、例えば、気温や湿度の影響に起因して生じ得る位置測定結果の誤差の想定最大値などと規定される。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る異常検出部324は、各基準発信器A2についての複数の位置測定結果の組み合わせに基づいて異常検出処理を行ってもよい。
この場合、例えば、異常検出部324は、各基準発信器A2について算出された誤差成分(ΔQx、ΔQy、ΔQz)の全てが、予め規定された所定の誤差許容量を上回る場合に、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bに何らかの異常が生じたものと見なしてもよい。
第4、第5の実施形態に係る識別子照合部323は、更に、識別子抽出部30によってACTC信号D2から抽出されたLIDを取得するとともに、当該抽出されたLIDと、基準用識別子情報(図18)に記録された基準用識別子と、を照合する。そして、照合の結果、抽出されたLIDが基準用識別子情報に記録された基準用識別子と一致する場合には、識別子照合部323は、車載器発信信号転送部33に対して当該照合結果に応じた信号を出力し、そのLIDを含むACTC信号D2を車線サーバ21へと転送させないようにしてもよい。
このようにすることで、通信制御装置3は、車線サーバ21が、基準発信器A2を対象として、料金収受用の無線通信を行うことを防止することができる。
しかし、他の実施形態ではこの態様に限定されることはなく、例えば、第2の実施形態のように、通信制御装置3が復号部36を具備することで、IQ信号D4から直接基準用識別子(LID)を取得するものとしてもよい。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、車線サーバ21が、上述の位置測定部31、位置判定部321及び判定条件設定部321aを備える態様であってもよい。
この場合において、車線サーバ21の位置測定部31は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bから受信したIQ信号D4に基づいて車載器A1の位置を測定するとともに、車線サーバ21の位置判定部321が、当該車載器A1についての位置測定結果に基づいてその車載器A1との無線通信の可否を判定する。
また、車線サーバ21の判定条件設定部321aは、車線サーバ21内に記録される基準用識別子情報(図18)を参照して、受信したACTC信号D2が車載器A1によって送信されたものか基準発信器A2によって送信されたものかを判定する。そして、受信したACTC信号D2が基準発信器A2によって送信されたものである場合には、判定条件設定部321aは、当該基準発信器A2についての位置測定結果に基づいて、車載器A1を料金収受用の通信対象とするか否かの判定条件を設定する。
即ち、単に、電波の発信源の位置を、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bを用いて測定するだけであれば、当該電波に何らかの信号が変調(重畳)されている必要はない。したがって、例えば、基準発信器A2は、何らの情報が重畳されていない(変調がなされていない)一定の電波を発信するものとしてもよい。
また、料金収受システム1は、各種機能構成が単一の装置筐体に収められる態様に限定されず、料金収受システム1が有する各種機能構成が、ネットワークで接続される複数の装置に渡って具備される態様であってもよい。
次に、図22~図30を参照しながら、第6の実施形態及びその変形例に係る料金収受システムについて詳細に説明する。
図22は、第6の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの全体構成を示す図である。
図22において、第1~第5の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
ただし、第1~第5の実施形態とは異なり、第6の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1の支持体Gには、電波の発信源の位置を測定するために用いられるアンテナ(AOAアンテナ)として、単一の位置測定用アンテナ22Aのみが設置されている(図22参照)。
ナンバープレート認識装置11は、まず、車線Lを走行する車両Aに対し、当該車両Aの車体前方側(図22における+X方向側)に取り付けられたナンバープレートNが含まれるように撮影を行う。そして、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、当該撮影によって得られた画像データに所定の画像解析処理を施し、車両Aの車体に付されたナンバープレートNについての情報(以下、「NP情報」と表記)を抽出する。
上述のようなNP情報(プレートサイズ、分類番号等)は、一般に、当該ナンバープレートが取り付けられている車両Aの車種と関連性を有している。したがって、後述するように、取得したNP情報から、車両Aの車種を判別することができる。
図23は、第6の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図23において、第1~第5の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
図23に示すように、第6の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3は、更に、車種判別部37を備えている。また、第6の実施形態に係る通信制御装置3の位置測定部31は、高さ推定部31aと、到来角度計測部31bと、を備えている。
具体的には、車種判別部37は、ナンバープレート認識装置11から入力されるNP情報に基づいて車両Aの車種を判別する。ここで、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で当該車両AのナンバープレートNの撮影を行い、この撮影により得られた画像データから抽出したNP情報を、直ちに車種判別部37に出力する。これにより、車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で取得したNP情報に基づいて、当該車両Aの車種を判別することができる。車種判別部37が、NP情報に基づいて車両Aの車種を判別する具体的な処理については後述する。
車種判別部37は、車両Aの車種の判別結果を示す車種判別信号D6を位置測定部31に出力する。
ここで、車線サーバ21は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知されたタイミングで、料金収受用の無線通信を開始すべく、FCMC信号D1(要求信号)を送信する。また、車載器A1は、FCMC信号D1の受信に応答してACTC信号D2を送信する。したがって、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知された後に電波(ACTC信号D2が重畳されたもの)を発信する。
位置測定部31の到来角度計測部31bは、位置測定用アンテナ22Aから取得したIQ信号D4に基づいて、当該位置測定用アンテナ22Aの受信面(電波を受信する面)に対し、受信した電波の到来角度を計測する。
ここで、位置測定部31は、支持体G(図22)に取り付けられた位置測定用アンテナ22Aの、空間内における設置位置及び設置角度についての情報を予め保持している。そして、位置測定部31は、到来角度計測部31bによって計測された電波の到来角度に基づいて、位置測定用アンテナ22Aの設置位置及び設置角度を基準とした電波の到来方向、即ち、位置測定用アンテナ22Aに対し電波の発振源(車載器A1)が存在する方向を特定する。
図24は、第6の実施形態に係る車種判別部の機能を説明する図である。
上述したように、第6の実施形態に係る車種判別部37(図23)は、ナンバープレート認識装置11を通じて車両AのナンバープレートNについてのNP情報を取得する。
ここで、第6の実施形態に係るナンバープレート認識装置11は、図24に示すように、車線Lにおける車両検知器10よりも下流側(+X方向側)であって、車両Aの進行方向右側(-Y方向側)に設置される。そして、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、車両検知器10よりも車線Lの上流側(-X方向側)が撮影範囲として含まれるように設置されている。これにより、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、車両検知器10よりも上流側に位置する車両AのナンバープレートNを撮影することができる。即ち、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、車両検知器10による車両Aが検知される前の段階で、車両AのナンバープレートNを撮影することができる。
車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で、ナンバープレート認識装置11によって連続的に抽出されるNP情報を逐次取得する。そして、車種判別部37は、車両Aが進行して車両検知器10によって検知された段階で、その直前に取得した最新のNP情報に基づいて、当該車両Aについての車種を判別する処理を行う。
なお、車種判別部37における車種判別処理の具体的態様は上記に限定されることはなく、他にも様々な態様が考えられる。例えば、車種判別部37は、ナンバープレートNに刻印された分類番号に基づいて車種を判別してもよい。この場合、車種判別部37は、例えば、ナンバープレートNに刻印された分類番号の上一桁目が“1”又は“2”であった場合、車両Aの車種を「中型車」、「大型車」又は「特大車」と判別し、また、例えば、分類番号の上一桁目が“3”であった場合、車両Aの車種を「普通車」と判別する。
図25は、第6の実施形態に係る位置測定部の機能を説明する図である。
第6の実施形態に係る位置測定部31(図23)は、到来角度計測部31bによりIQ信号D4に基づいて計測された電波の到来角度と、高さ推定部31aにより車種判別信号D6(車両Aの車種判別結果)から推定された車載器A1の設置高さと、に基づいて車載器A1の位置を一意に測定する。
具体的には、高さ候補値Haは、「軽自動車」、「普通車」、「中型車」である車両Aの車体内に車載器A1が搭載される場合において、当該車載器A1が設置される高さの代表値(平均値、中央値等の統計的数値)を示している。また、高さ候補値Hbは、「大型車」、「特大車」である車両Aの車体内に車載器A1が搭載される場合において、当該車載器A1が設置される高さの代表値を示している。
一般に、「大型車」及び「特大車」の方が、「軽自動車」、「普通車」、「中型車」に比べて車高や運転席の位置が高いことから、車載器A1の設置高さも「大型車」、「特大車」の方が高い。即ち、高さ候補値Hbの方が高さ候補値Haよりも大きい値となる(Hb>Ha)。
また、高さ推定部31aは、車種判別信号D6に示される車両Aの車種が「大型車」又は「特大車」に属する場合、高さ推定部31aは、当該車両Aに搭載されている車載器A1の設置高さとして、高さ候補値Hbを選択する。即ち、高さ推定部31aは、当該車両Aに搭載されている車載器A1が、路面から“Hb”の高さに存在すると推定する。
例えば、車載器A1を搭載する車両Aの車種が「大型車」であって高さ推定部31aによる設置高さの推定結果が“Hb”であった場合、位置測定部31は、路面から“Hb”の高さに存在する水平面と、車載器方向ベクトルKの延長線と、の交点を特定する。その結果、位置測定部31は、当該交点の水平面内(XY平面内)における位置を(X1b、Y1b)と特定することができる(図25参照)。
このように、位置測定用アンテナ22Aへの到来方向(車載器方向ベクトルK)が同じであったとしても、車載器A1の設置高さ(“Ha”か、“Hb”か)に応じて、当該車載器A1の水平面上における位置測定結果が変わり得る。
図26は、第6の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの処理フローを示す図である。
まず、料金収受システム1のナンバープレート認識装置11(図22)は、設置された位置から車線Lの上流側(図24参照)を撮影範囲として、所定の時間間隔で連続的に撮影処理を行っている。そして、ナンバープレート認識装置11は、撮影によって取得した画像データに対し所定の画像認識処理を実行するとともに、当該画像データに走行する車両AのナンバープレートN(図22)が含まれていた場合には、当該ナンバープレートNについてのNP情報を抽出する。
車種判別部37は、ナンバープレート認識装置11からNP情報の入力を受け付けて、当該NP情報を取得する(ステップS31)。
車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知された場合(ステップS32:YES)、車種判別部37は、その直前のステップS31で取得したNP情報に基づいて、車種を判別する処理を行う(ステップS33)。車種判別部37は、ステップS33で車種を判別すると、直ちに、判別した車種を示す車種判別信号D6(図23)を位置測定部31に出力する。
位置測定部31の到来角度計測部31bは、車載器A1が発信した電波を位置測定用アンテナ22Aで受信して得られたIQ信号D4(図23)に基づいて当該電波の到来角度を計測し、車載器A1が存在する方向である電波の到来方向(車載器方向ベクトルK(図25))を特定する。
位置測定部31は、図25を用いて説明したように、車載器方向ベクトルKと、推定された車載器A1の設置高さ(高さ候補値Ha、Hb)とに基づいて、車載器A1の位置を測定する処理を行う(ステップS34)。
以上の処理フローにより、料金収受システム1は、車載器A1の位置を測定することができる。なお、料金収受システム1の処理フローにおいて、位置測定部31が位置測定結果を得た後の処理は、他の実施形態と同様である。
以上のとおり、第6の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、車線Lを走行する車両Aに搭載された車載器A1のうち、車線Lに規定された規定通信領域Q内に存在する車載器A1との間で料金収受用の通信を行う料金収受システムである。そして、料金収受システム1は、車両Aの車線Lへの進入を検知する車両検知器10と、車両検知器10によって検知される前の段階において、当該車両Aの車種を判別する車種判別部37と、を備えている。更に、料金収受システム1は、車両検知器10によって検知された後に車載器A1が発信する電波を位置測定用アンテナ22Aで受信して得られたIQ信号D4に基づいて、電波を発信した車載器A1の位置を測定する位置測定部31を備えている。この位置測定部31は、IQ信号D4に基づいて計測された電波の到来角度と、車両Aの車種判別結果から推定された車載器A1の設置高さと、に基づいて車載器A1の位置を測定する。
従来、NP情報を取得するためのナンバープレート認識装置11は、車載器A1に予め登録されている車両番号と、車両Aの実際の車両番号と、を照合する目的で設置される場合がある。この場合、本実施形態のように、ナンバープレート認識装置11を、更に、車載器A1の位置測定を行う目的に利用することで、別途の装置を追加導入することなく、車載器A1の位置を測定することができる。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る高さ推定部31aは、予め用意された3種類以上の高さ候補値の中から、車種判別結果に応じた一つを選択するものとしてもよい。この場合、高さ推定部31aは、例えば、3種類以上に区分された車種(例えば、「軽自動車」、「普通車」、「大型車」等)の各々に関連付けられた高さ候補値が予め用意されている態様であってもよい。
(料金収受システムの全体構成及び機能構成)
図27は、第6の実施形態の変形例に係る料金収受システムの全体構成を示す図である。
また、図28は、第6の実施形態の変形例に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図27、図28において、第1~第6の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
レーザースキャナ12は、車線Lの路面上方(+Z方向)から、当該車線Lの路面の所定範囲をレーザースキャン(走査)するようにレーザー光を照射して、当該所定範囲に含まれる照射対象物の輪郭形状を示すレーザースキャンデータを生成する。即ち、レーザースキャナ12は、レーザースキャンする所定範囲内に車両Aの車体が含まれている場合には、その車体形状に応じたレーザースキャンデータを得ることができる。
第6の実施形態の変形例に係る車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって車両Aの車線L(図27)への進入が検知される前の段階において、当該車両Aの車種を判別する。
具体的には、まず、レーザースキャナ12が、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で当該車両Aの車体を含むようにレーザースキャン(走査)を行い、当該レーザースキャンにより生成されたレーザースキャンデータを、車種判別部37に出力する。そして、車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で取得したレーザースキャンデータに基づいて、当該車両Aの車種を判別する処理を行う。
更に、車種判別部37は、車両Aの車種の判別結果を示す車種判別信号D6を位置測定部31に出力する。
図29、図30は、それぞれ、第6の実施形態の変形例に係る車種判別部の機能を説明する第1の図、第2の図である。
上述したように、第6の実施形態の変形例に係る車種判別部37(図28)は、レーザースキャナ12を通じて車両Aの車体形状に応じたレーザースキャンデータを取得する。
ここで、第6の実施形態の変形例に係るレーザースキャナ12は、図29、図30に示すように、車線Lにおける車両検知器10よりも下流側(+X方向側)、かつ、路面上方(+Z方向)であって走行する車両Aの最大車高よりも高い位置に設置される。そして、レーザースキャナ12は、車両検知器10よりも車線Lの上流側(-X方向側)が走査範囲として含まれるようにレーザー光Pを照射する。これにより、レーザースキャナ12は、車両検知器10よりも上流側に位置する車両Aの車体形状に応じたレーザースキャンデータを生成することができる。また、レーザースキャナ12は、車線Lの路面上に車両Aが存在する場合において、当該車両Aの車体を高さ方向(±Z方向)に走査可能なように、その走査方向が設定されている(図30参照)。
即ち、レーザースキャナ12は、車両検知器10による車両Aが検知される前の段階で、車両Aの高さ方向についての車体形状を示すレーザースキャンデータを生成することができる。
例えば、レーザースキャナ12は、少なくとも車両検知器10よりも上流側の位置で、「大型車」及び「特大車」に属する車両Aのみが有する車高(例えば、高さ3m以上)の範囲を含むように走査する。
車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって車両Aが検知される前の段階で、レーザースキャナ12によって連続的に生成されるレーザースキャンデータを逐次取得する。そして、車種判別部37は、車両Aが進行して車両検知器10によって検知された段階で、その直前に取得した最新のレーザースキャンデータに基づいて、当該車両Aについての車種を判別する処理を行う。
以上、第6の実施形態の変形例に係る料金収受システム1によれば、車種判別部37は、車両検知器10によって検知される前の段階で取得された、車両Aの車体形状に応じたレーザースキャンデータに基づいて当該車両Aの車種を判別する。
このようにすることで、ナンバープレート認識装置11が存在しない場合であっても、レーザースキャナ12を新たな構成として追加するだけで、簡易的に、車載器A1に対する位置測定の精度を向上させることができる。
次に、図31を参照しながら、第7の実施形態に係る料金収受システムについて詳細に説明する。
図31は、第7の実施形態に係る料金収受システムの機能構成を示す図である。
図31において、第1~第6の実施形態と同一の構成については、同一の符号を付してその説明を省略する。
また、第6の実施形態と同様に、第7の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1には、ナンバープレート認識装置11が設置されている。
位置測定処理切替部31cは、2つの位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのうちいずれか一方の異常を検出した場合に、位置測定部31が行う位置測定処理の内容を切り替える。
具体的には、位置測定処理切替部31cは、通信インターフェイス部35を通じて、2つの位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのそれぞれに対し、定期的に、異常が生じているか否かを検査するための検査用信号を出力する。そして、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bに異常が生じている場合は、当該異常が生じていることを示す異常検出信号D7を、その異常が生じている位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bから受け付ける。
本実施形態において、“第1の位置測定処理”とは、複数の位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの各々から得られる複数のIQ信号D4に基づいて車載器A1の位置を測定する処理である。
より具体的には、位置測定部31は、第1の位置測定処理において、到来角度計測部31bによる到来角度の計測結果を用いて、位置測定用アンテナ22Aに対する電波の到来角度と、位置測定用アンテナ22Bに対する電波の到来角度と、の両方を組み合わせた三角測量演算を行う。
本実施形態において、“第2の位置測定処理”とは、異常が生じていない位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの何れか一方から得られるIQ信号D4に基づいて計測された電波の到来角度と、車両Aの車種判別結果から推定された車載器A1の設置高さと、に基づいて車載器A1の位置を測定する処理である。
より具体的には、第2の位置測定処理において、位置測定部31(到来角度計測部31b)は、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのうち異常検出信号D7が入力されていない一方からIQ信号D4を取得するとともに、当該IQ信号D4に基づいて電波の到来角度を計測する。また、第2の位置測定処理において、位置測定部31(高さ推定部31a)は、ナンバープレート認識装置11及び車種判別部37を通じて取得した車種判別信号D6に基づいて、車両Aの車種に応じた車載器A1の設置高さを推定する。そして、位置測定部31は、計測した到来角度に基づく車載器方向ベクトルKの延長線と、推定された設置高さの水平面と、の交点を特定し、当該交点の位置を車載器A1の位置をみなす。
以上の通り、第7の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1の位置測定部31は、更に、複数の位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのうちの一部について異常を検出した場合に、位置測定部31が行う位置測定処理を、上述の第1の位置測定処理から、第2の位置測定処理へと切り替える位置測定処理切替部31cを更に備える。
このようにすることで、通常時は、複数の位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bを用いて車載器A1の位置を測定しながら、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのいずれか一方に異常が生じた場合には、直ちに、位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bのうちの一方のみを用いて車載器A1の位置を測定できる処理に切り替わる。
ここで、幾何学的な三角測量により精度良く位置測定を行う“第1の位置測定処理”よりも、高さの推定処理を要する“第2の位置測定処理”の方が位置測定精度は若干低下し得るものの、規定通信領域Qに対する領域内外判定を実施するのに支障を来すまでには至らない。したがって、複数の位置測定用アンテナ22A、22Bの何れか一方に異常が生じた場合であっても、第2の位置測定処理をもって車線の運用を継続することができる。したがって、位置測定用アンテナの故障が発生した際に、直ちに車線閉鎖等の処置をしなくともよくなる。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、第6の実施形態の変形例で説明したレーザースキャナ12(図27~図30)を備え、当該レーザースキャナ12が取得したレーザースキャンデータに基づいて車両Aの車種を判別してもよい。
例えば、他の実施形態に係る料金収受システム1は、車線サーバ21が、上述の位置測定部31及び車種判別部37を備える態様であってもよい。
この場合、車線サーバ21の車種判別部37がナンバープレート認識装置11からNP情報を取得して、車両Aの車種を判別する。そして、車線サーバ21の位置測定部31が、一つの位置測定用アンテナ(位置測定用アンテナ22A又は位置測定用アンテナ22B)から受信したIQ信号D4に基づいて車載器A1に対する電波の到来角度を計測するとともに、車種判別部37による車種判別結果から推定される車載器A1の設置高さとの組み合わせで車載器A1の位置を測定する。
ナンバープレート認識装置11の代わりにレーザースキャナ12を用いる場合も同様である。
例えば、位置測定処理切替部31cは、料金収受用アンテナ20にて正常にACTC信号D2を受信し、かつ、同じタイミングで、一方の位置測定用アンテナ22Aにて正常にIQ信号D4を受信できているにもかかわらず、他方の位置測定用アンテナ22BにてIQ信号D4を取得できていない状態が複数回(例えば、“2回”)続いた場合に、当該位置測定用アンテナ22Bに異常が生じていると判断するものとしてもよい。
また、料金収受システム1は、各種機能構成が単一の装置筐体に収められる態様に限定されず、料金収受システム1が有する各種機能構成が、ネットワークで接続される複数の装置に渡って具備される態様であってもよい。

Claims (10)
- 料金収受用アンテナを通じて、車線を走行する車両に搭載された車載器と、当該車両に対する料金収受処理を行う車線サーバと、の間で行われる通信の通信制御を行う通信制御装置であって、
前記車載器が発信する電波を前記料金収受用アンテナで受信して得られる信号であって当該車載器を識別するための識別子を含む車載器発信信号から当該識別子を抽出する識別子抽出部と、
前記車載器が発信する電波を所定の位置測定用アンテナで受信して得られる位置測定用信号に基づいて、前記電波を発信した前記車載器の位置を測定する位置測定部と、
前記位置測定用信号に基づいて測定された前記車載器の位置が予め規定された規定通信領域内に存在する場合に、当該位置測定用信号に関連する前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子を許可識別子として登録する識別子登録部と、
前記車載器発信信号から抽出された前記識別子が、登録された前記許可識別子と一致する場合に、当該車載器発信信号を前記車線サーバへと転送する車載器発信信号転送部と、
を備える通信制御装置。 - 前記識別子登録部は、
前記位置測定用信号に基づいて測定された前記車載器の位置が前記規定通信領域内に存在する場合に、当該位置測定用信号を得た前記位置測定用アンテナにおける前記電波の受信のタイミングと同じタイミングで、当該電波を前記料金収受用アンテナで受信して得られた前記車載器発信信号から抽出された前記識別子を前記許可識別子として登録する
請求項1に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記位置測定用アンテナで受信して得られる前記位置測定用信号は、前記料金収受用アンテナで受信して得られる前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子と同一の識別子を含んでおり、
前記識別子登録部は、
前記位置測定用信号に基づいて測定された前記車載器の位置が前記規定通信領域内に存在する場合に、当該位置測定用信号に関連する前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子であって当該位置測定用信号から抽出された前記識別子を許可識別子として登録する
請求項1に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記位置測定部は、
前記車線サーバが送信する信号であって前記車載器に対し前記車載器発信信号の送信を要求するための要求信号が送信された場合に、当該要求信号が送信されたタイミングから予め規定された時間の経過後に、前記位置測定用アンテナで前記電波を受信して得られた前記位置測定用信号に基づいて当該車載器の位置を測定する
請求項1から請求項3の何れか一項に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記車載器発信信号転送部は、
前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子と、登録された前記許可識別子と、が一致するか否かの判定処理と並行して、当該車載器発信信号を遅延させることなく前記車線サーバに転送する
請求項1から請求項4の何れか一項に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記車載器発信信号転送部は、
前記車載器発信信号から抽出された前記識別子が、登録された前記許可識別子と一致しない場合に、当該車載器発信信号に含まれる情報であって前記識別子よりも後に送信される情報を変化させて前記車線サーバに転送する

前記車線サーバと、

を備える料金収受システム。 - 前記料金収受用アンテナと前記車線サーバとを、前記通信制御装置を経由せずに直接接続可能なリレー回路部を更に備え、
前記リレー回路部は、前記通信制御装置における異常を検知した場合に、前記料金収受用アンテナと前記車線サーバとを直接接続する
請求項7に記載の料金収受システム。 - 料金収受用アンテナを通じて、車線を走行する車両に搭載された車載器と、当該車両に対する料金収受処理を行う車線サーバと、の間で行われる通信の通信制御を行う通信制御方法であって、
前記車載器が発信する電波を前記料金収受用アンテナで受信して得られる信号であって当該車載器を識別するための識別子を含む車載器発信信号から当該識別子を抽出するステップと、
前記車載器が発信する電波を所定の位置測定用アンテナで受信して得られる位置測定用信号に基づいて、前記電波を発信した前記車載器の位置を測定するステップと、
前記位置測定用信号に基づいて測定された前記車載器の位置が予め規定された規定通信領域内に存在する場合に、当該位置測定用信号に関連する前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子を許可識別子として登録するステップと、
前記車載器発信信号から抽出された前記識別子が、登録された前記許可識別子と一致する場合に、当該車載器発信信号を前記車線サーバへと転送するステップと、
を有する通信制御方法。 - 料金収受用アンテナを通じて、車線を走行する車両に搭載された車載器と、当該車両に対する料金収受処理を行う車線サーバと、の間で行われる通信の通信制御を行う通信制御装置のコンピュータを、
前記車載器が発信する電波を前記料金収受用アンテナで受信して得られる信号であって当該車載器を識別するための識別子を含む車載器発信信号から当該識別子を抽出する識別子抽出手段、
前記車載器が発信する電波を所定の位置測定用アンテナで受信して得られる位置測定用信号に基づいて、前記電波を発信した前記車載器の位置を測定する位置測定手段、
前記位置測定用信号に基づいて測定された前記車載器の位置が予め規定された規定通信領域内に存在する場合に、当該位置測定用信号に関連する前記車載器発信信号に含まれる前記識別子を許可識別子として登録する識別子登録手段、
前記車載器発信信号から抽出された前記識別子が、登録された前記許可識別子と一致する場合に、当該車載器発信信号を前記車線サーバへと転送する車載器発信信号転送手段、
として機能させるプログラム。
