Appareil d'épandage, notamment pour des véhicules d'entretien hivernal des routes, comprenant un réservoir de matière d'épandage (2) délimité par des parois rigides, pourvu d'un dispositif de déversement de matière d'épandage, côté fond, s'étendant dans le sens longitudinal de l'appareil d'épandage, un dispositif d'épandage alimenté par le dispositif de déversement de matière d'épandage, ainsi qu'un système de distribution de liquide comprenant au moins un réservoir souple (11), de forme et de volume variables, disposé à l'intérieur du réservoir de matière d'épandage. Ledit au moins un réservoir souple (11) est logé dans un compartiment (27), de forme et de volume variable, du réservoir de matière d'épandage (2), qui est délimité par une paroi transversale avant et arrière, et par une paroi de séparation (19) rigide, montée de manière à pouvoir changer de position latéralement, de façon active au moins pour réduire le volume dudit compartiment, au moyen d'un mécanisme de positionnement. Un élément d'étanchéité anti-ruissellement conçu à la manière d'une membrane déroulante (26) agit entre la paroi de séparation et les deux parois transversales délimitant, à l'avant et à l'arrière, les compartiments concernés.
