Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hair treatment liquid and a hair shaping treatment method using the same for mitigating damage to the hair during treatment in hair shaping treatment such as straightening treatment and permanent wave treatment.
- a hair shaping method using a permanent liquid composed of a combination of a first agent containing a reducing agent and a second agent containing an oxidizing agent is widely known.
- a curly hair straightening process which is a beauty technique for straightening curly hair
- a permanent wave process for imparting a shape such as curl or wave to the hair.
- the following basic principles are generally used in the hair shaping treatment method.
- a disulfide bond is re-formed by applying a second agent containing an oxidizing agent such as aqueous hydrogen peroxide or sodium bromate.
- the shape of the hair after shaping is fixed by re-forming disulfide bonds and cross-linking keratin in the shaped state.
- straightening treatment after the disulfide bond is cut, the hair is shaped into straight hair by iron pressing, and then the disulfide bond is reformed.
- the straight shape of the hair is fixed by reforming disulfide bonds.
- the disulfide bond is cleaved by applying the first agent to the hair and leaving it for a predetermined time. After the first agent is washed away, the disulfide bond is re-formed by applying the second agent to the hair in a state where the hair is wound around a cylindrical rod for giving a shape such as a wave. Permanent wave is fixed.
- a heavy burden may be applied to the hair, contrary to the pre-treatment assumption.
- the strength of the hair may be reduced, and the cut hair may be broken, or the hair may be finely waved and become brittle hair (brittle hair).
- brittle hair brittle hair
- parts that are easily damaged such as the bangs and the hair of the neckline
- billiary hairs and cut hairs were likely to occur.
- the cause of the occurrence of such bristle hairs and cut hairs is that the standing time after applying the first agent is too long for hair that has been damaged by hair dyeing or past hair shaping treatment, This is considered to be caused by causing further damage due to inadequate selection.
- the practitioner spends time counseling the practitioner, grasping the hair quality, strength of the hair, the history of the treatment received by the hair, selecting the drug, and applying the drug Determine the location and select the time to leave.
- the practitioner performs the procedure with great care while confirming the condition such as the degree of softening of the hair after applying the first agent.
- Patent Document 1 discloses that as a curly hair straightening treatment method capable of realizing appropriate curly hair straightening, suppression of deterioration of hair feel or damage to hair, a first agent and an oxidizing agent containing a reducing agent and an alkaline agent are used.
- a curly hair straightening method using a blended second agent before the first agent is applied to the hair, the first agent is applied to the hair and the second agent is applied to the hair while the first agent is left standing.
- a method of applying a hair straightening aid containing hydrogen water having a hydrogen concentration of 1% by mass or more to hair is disclosed.
- the hair straightening aid contains a noble metal colloid such as a platinum colloid or a palladium colloid
- the noble metal colloid functions as a catalyst for promoting the reaction between the high-concentration hydrogen water and the hydroxy radical, or is used as an oxidizing agent. It is disclosed that it acts as a catalyst for decomposing hydrogen oxide.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a hair treatment liquid and a hair shaping treatment method for suppressing damage caused by a treatment in hair shaping treatment such as straightening treatment or permanent wave treatment.
- One aspect of the present invention includes a step of applying a first agent containing a reducing agent to the hair and leaving it for a predetermined time, a step of washing away the first agent applied to the hair, and a step of containing an oxidizing agent in the hair.
- a hair shaping method further comprising a step of applying a hair treatment solution containing gold nanoparticles to the hair in a hair shaping treatment method comprising at least a step of applying two agents and leaving for a predetermined time and a step of washing away the second agent. It is a processing method. According to such a hair shaping treatment method, the frequency of occurrence of bristle hair and cut hair can be significantly reduced. Moreover, the hair to which the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles is applied is excellent in formability and combing.
- keratin disulfide bonds (—S—S—) are reduced to thiol groups (—SH) by a reducing agent contained in the first agent. Reduction of the disulfide bond eliminates the keratin cross-linking structure. Then, the hair is shaped with the cross-linked structure of keratin eliminated, and the shaped hair is treated with the second agent to oxidize the thiol group (—SH) of keratin and disulfide bond (—S—). S-) is reformed.
- This reaction is represented by the following chemical formula 1: It is a reversible redox reaction as shown in FIG.
- the present inventors have found that the frequency of occurrence of bristle hair and cut hair can be significantly reduced by the method described above. And the mechanism was considered as follows.
- a thiol group having high nucleophilicity is generated. Since the thiol group has high nucleophilicity, it tries to move to a stable oxidation state quickly. At this time, if the reduction proceeds too rapidly, the oxidation reaction also proceeds rapidly, so that disulfide bonds are re-formed between thiol groups that should not react, or react with oxidizing substances and air contained in the hair. As a result, an oxidation product that does not form a crosslinked structure may be produced. As a result, it is considered that bristle hairs and cut hairs are generated by forming a crosslinked structure that leaves distortion in keratin or by generating an oxidation product that could not form a crosslinked structure.
- the occurrence of bristle hair and cut hair is likely to occur when the leaving time in the reduced state after application of the first agent is too long for an appropriate time or when a strong drug is selected.
- the appropriate standing time after the application of the first agent and the optimal drug vary depending on the magnitude of damage received by the hair. For hair with small damage, even if it is left for a relatively long time or a highly alkaline chemical is used, the damage is not easily revealed. On the other hand, damage is easily manifested in a short time for hair with large damage. That is, it was considered that hair with large damage is likely to form a crosslinked structure that leaves distortion, or to easily generate an oxidation product that could not form a crosslinked structure.
- the present inventors have the following chemical formula 2 when gold nanoparticles are present when the first agent is applied.
- nucleophilicity is suppressed by coordinating and stabilizing gold to sulfur of a thiol group (—SH). This was obtained from the finding that when gold nanoparticles were present, the reduction rate of the thiol group (—SH) was slow. Then, by slowly proceeding the reduction reaction, the rapid oxidation reaction due to the nucleophilicity of the thiol group (—SH) is also suppressed, resulting in the formation of a crosslinked structure that leaves distortion, and undesirable oxidation generation. Things are less likely to be formed. As a result, when the first agent was applied in the presence of gold nanoparticles and the curly hair straightening treatment or the permanent wave treatment was performed, it was found that the frequency of occurrence of bristle hair and cut hair was significantly reduced. .
- the concentration of the gold nanoparticles in the hair treatment liquid is preferably 0.0001% by mass or more from the viewpoint that generation of bristle hair and generation of broken hair can be further suppressed by sufficiently controlling an undesirable reaction.
- the hair treatment liquid further contains platinum nanoparticles, it is preferable because the platinum nanoparticles act as a catalyst for decomposing hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizing agent.
- the step of applying the hair treatment solution to the hair before applying the second agent to the hair from the viewpoint that the reduction reaction of the disulfide bond of keratin can be prevented from proceeding too rapidly.
- the first agent is preferably pH 5 to 8 from the viewpoint of suppressing the keratin ion bond breakage which also contributes to the generation of bristle hair and cut hair.
- the hair shaping treatment method is a curly hair straightening treatment method, and preferably further comprises a step of straightening the hair washed away with the first agent into a straight hair while heating. According to such a curly hair straightening treatment method, the frequency of occurrence of bristle hair and cut hair can be significantly reduced. In addition, as a secondary effect, since the hair coated with the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles is excellent in combing, the shapeability is improved.
- the curly hair straightening treatment method preferably further comprises a step of drying the hair from which the first agent has been washed away and combing the hair treatment liquid while spraying the hair.
- a combing step for shaping the hair straight is often provided before the hair after washing away the first agent is dried.
- damage to the hair may increase.
- combing tends to become tangled and the combing may become severe.
- the hair may be damaged by frequent occurrence of tangles in the hair.
- the combing of the hair is significantly improved. As a result, damage to the hair during combing can be suppressed.
- a hair iron set at 110 to 180 ° C it is preferable to heat the hair with a hair iron set at 110 to 180 ° C.
- a high temperature of about 180 to 200 ° C. is often employed. Heating with a hot hair iron will damage the hair.
- Hair coated with a hair treatment solution containing gold nanoparticles can be shaped sufficiently even with a hair iron set at a low temperature of 110 to 180 ° C. because the shapeability is improved. The present inventors believe that the reason is that gold having extremely high thermal conductivity improves the heat transfer efficiency of the hair iron.
- the hair shaping treatment method is a permanent wave treatment method, and preferably further comprises a step of winding the hair around a rod and shaping. According to such a permanent wave processing method, it is possible to remarkably reduce the frequency of occurrence of cut hairs and bristle hairs. Further, when the rod is removed from the hair wound around the rod, the hair is maintained firm. Therefore, a permanent wave process that can maintain the ridge feeling can be realized.

- a hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles is applied to wet hair after washing (s3).
- the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles is applied to the step before the step of applying the second agent, particularly to wet hair after the first agent is washed, This is particularly preferable from the viewpoint that the reduction reaction can be prevented from proceeding too rapidly before it becomes apparent.
- the hair treatment solution containing gold nanoparticles may be applied before or after the first agent is applied, or after the treatment. Moreover, you may apply
- the amount of hair treatment solution containing gold nanoparticles on the hair depends on the amount of hair and cannot be specified. However, it should be applied by spraying, etc., little by little in a single treatment. Is preferred. Specifically, for example, it is preferable to apply so that gold nanoparticles adhere to, for example, about 0.01 to 100 mg, more preferably 1 to 10 mg, particularly about 2 to 10 mg.

- a high temperature of about 180 to 200 ° C. is widely used.
- hair coated with a hair treatment solution containing gold nanoparticles can be sufficiently shaped even with a low-temperature hair iron because the shapeability is improved.
- the inventors believe that the reason is to improve the heat transfer efficiency of the hair iron because gold has a higher thermal conductivity (318 W / (m / K) 300 K) than many other metals. thinking.
- a second agent containing an oxidizing agent is applied to the straightened hair and left for a predetermined time (s7).
- the second agent is not particularly limited as long as it is an oxidizing agent that has been conventionally used for straightening hair treatment.

- the effect of applying the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles in the permanent wave treatment method of the present embodiment is also significantly recognized in the retention of the wave ridge feeling when the rod is removed. As shown in FIG. 3A, when the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles is not applied with respect to the retention of the ridge feeling when the rod is removed from the hair wound around the rod, It was easy for the phenomenon of “sagging” to become more gradual.
- the hair treatment liquid containing gold nanoparticles in the permanent wave treatment method of the present embodiment As shown in FIG. It was observed that it was held firmly.

Abstract
