  • the fuel supply device that supplies fuel to the engine includes a low-pressure pump that pumps the fuel in the fuel tank and a high-pressure pump that boosts the fuel discharged from the low-pressure pump and pumps the fuel to the engine.
  • a low-pressure pump that pumps the fuel in the fuel tank
  • a high-pressure pump that boosts the fuel discharged from the low-pressure pump and pumps the fuel to the engine.
  • a flow path expansion pipe having a flow path area larger than the fuel gallery of the high pressure pump is provided between the fuel flow path from the low pressure pump to the high pressure pump and the fuel gallery. It is provided in between.
  • an overflow valve is provided at the end of the fuel gallery opposite to the flow path expanding pipe.

Therefore, in order to reduce problems caused by pressure pulsation, a configuration for suppressing pressure pulsation propagating from the high-pressure pump to other components, particularly peak pressure, has been required.
