Abstract
Description
このような高い弾力性を有するゲル状組成物を生成するための方法としては、アルギン酸ナトリウム水溶液と塩化カルシウム水溶液とを接触させる手法が広く知られている(例えば、特許文献1~特許文献4参照。)。この手法によれば、アルギン酸ナトリウム水溶液と塩化カルシウム水溶液とを接触させることによって瞬時にイオン架橋反応が生じ、ゲル状組成物が生成される。
しかしながら、2種類の水溶液からゲル状組成物を得るためには、各水溶液を調整しなくてはならず、また安定した物性のゲル状組成物を得るためには、2種類の水溶液の混合条件、具体的には各水溶液の濃度や混合比率などを制御することが必要である。しかも、アルギン酸ナトリウムおよび塩化カルシウムは、長期間にわたって安定的に保管することが難しい、という問題もある。

前記第1の原液用充填空間から吐出される第1の原液組成物と、前記第2の原液用充填空間から吐出される第2の原液組成物とは、混合されることによりゲル状組成物を形成するものであることを特徴とする。
そのため、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とが混合されると、イオン架橋反応が生じてゲル状組成物が形成される。また、二重構造容器における2つの原液用充填空間の各々から第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とを、同時に適切な量で吐出させることができるため、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とを常に一定の量比で混合することができ、一方の原液組成物の吐出量が他方の原液組成物の吐出量に比して過剰となることがない。
また、第1の原液組成物および第2の原液組成物の各々が容器外の空気に曝されることがないため、長期間にわたる保存安定性を得ることができる。
従って、本発明のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品によれば、優れた保存安定性を有し、所期のゲル状組成物を容易かつ安定的に形成することができる。
この本発明のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品において、第1の原液用充填空間および第2の原液用充填空間の各々から同時に吐出される第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とは、混合されることにより、イオン架橋反応が生じて、水と水溶性アルギン酸塩とよりなるアルギン酸塩水溶液が解離性カルシウム塩(具体的には、カルシウムイオン)によってゲル化され、ゲル状組成物を形成するものである。
第1の原液組成物は、水を含有する液状媒体中に、水溶性アルギン酸塩が溶解されてなる液状のもの、すなわちアルギン酸塩水溶液よりなるものである。
一方、水溶性アルギン酸塩の含有割合が過小である場合には、十分なゲル形成性が得られなくなるおそれがある。
この第1の原液組成物に用いられる水の具体例としては、精製水あるいはイオン交換水などが挙げられる。
任意成分としては、例えばゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品の使用用途に応じて必要とされる成分(有効成分等)、防腐剤、pH調整剤、キレート剤、増粘剤、色素および香料などが挙げられる。
一方、第1の原液組成物の粘度が過小である場合には、第2の原液組成物の吐出量との関係における所期の吐出量が得られなくなるおそれがある。
第2の原液組成物は、水を含有する液状媒体中に解離性カルシウム塩が含有されてなる液状のものである。
この第2の原液組成物は、解離性カルシウム塩が液状媒体中に溶解されたものであってもよく、解離性カルシウム塩の一部または全部が液状媒体中に分散されたものであってもよい。
具体的に説明すると、第2の原液組成物に含有される解離性カルシウム塩は、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物との混合物中において溶解した状態とされて解離によってカルシウムイオンが放出された状態とされるものである。この解離性カルシウム塩には、第2の原液組成物中において溶解した状態とされてカルシウムイオンを放出するもの、および第2の原液組成物中においては一部または全部が分散して溶解した状態とされず、当該第2の原液組成物と第1原液組成物とが混合された混合系において溶解した状態とされてカルシウムイオンを放出するものが包含される。ここに、第1の原液組成物と、解離性カルシウム塩の一部または全部が分散した状態の第2の原液組成物との混合系においては、イオン架橋反応が生じると共に、化学平衡の移動、および必要に応じて含有されるキレート剤やpH調整剤の作用などにより、解離性カルシウム塩の解離反応が生じてカルシウムイオンが放出されることとなる。
この第2の原液組成物に用いられる水の具体例としては、精製水あるいはイオン交換水などが挙げられる。
任意成分としては、例えば解離性カルシウム塩の種類、およびゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品の使用用途に応じて必要とされる成分(有効成分等)、防腐剤、粘度調整剤およびpH調整剤などが挙げられる。
一方、第2の原液組成物の粘度が過小である場合には、第1の原液組成物の吐出量との関係における所期の吐出量が得られなくなるおそれがある。
噴射剤としては、圧縮ガスが用いられる。
圧縮ガスとしては、例えば亜酸化窒素ガス、窒素ガス、炭酸ガスまたはこれらの混合ガスなどが挙げられる。
この噴射剤は、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とが同時に吐出されることに伴って、噴射剤用充填空間から二重構造容器の外部に吐出されることはない。
噴射剤の充填圧力(製品内圧)が過大である場合および過小である場合には、いずれの場合においても良好な噴射状態を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。
本発明のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品を構成する二重構造容器は、噴射剤を充填するための噴射剤用充填空間と共に、第1の原液組成物を充填するための第1の原液用充填空間と、第2の原液組成物を充填するための第2の原液用充填空間とを有している。そして、この二重構造容器には、第1の原液組成物および第2の原液組成物を、第1の原液用充填空間および第2の原液用充填空間の各々から同時に吐出させるための吐出機構が設けられている。
本発明に係る二重構造容器の具体例としては、例えば図1~図3によって示される下記の2つの容器が挙げられる。
この二重構造容器10は、エアゾール用バルブ12が設けられている金属製の耐圧容器11を備えている。この耐圧容器11の内部には、第1の原液組成物を充填するための第1の原液用充填空間を区画する、例えばアルミラミネートフィルムよりなる第1の内袋15Aと、第2の原液組成物を充填するための第2の原液用充填空間を区画する、例えばアルミラミネートフィルムよりなる第2の内袋15Bが設けられている。また、耐圧容器11の内部には、耐圧容器11、第1の内袋15Aおよび第2の内袋15Bの各々の間の間隙によって噴射剤を充填するための噴射剤用充填空間が形成されている。エアゾール用バルブ12には、第1のハウジング13A内および第2のハウジング13B内の各々において上下方向に移動可能に配置された、内部にステム通路を有する第1のステム14Aおよび第2のステム14Bが設けられており、これらの第1のステム14Aおよび第2のステム14Bの上端には、共通のアクチュエータ21が設けられている。
図の例において、16Aは、第1のハウジング13Aの下端において第1のステム14Aのステム通路に連通し、第1の内袋15A内を耐圧容器11の底部に向かって伸びるディップチューブである。また、16Bは、第2のハウジング13Bの下端において第2のステム14Bのステム通路に連通し、第2の内袋15B内を耐圧容器11の底部に向かって伸びるディップチューブである。
図1においては、耐圧容器11およびアクチュエータ21の内部に位置する構成要素を破線にて示す。
このように、第1の内袋15Aに係る第1のステム14Aと、第2の内袋15Bに係る第2のステム14Bとに共通のアクチュエータ21を設けることにより、第1の内袋15A内に充填された第1の原液組成物と、第2の内袋15B内に充填された第2の原液組成物とを、それぞれ第1の内袋15Aおよび第2の内袋15Bから同時に吐出させるための吐出機構が形成されている。
この二重構造容器は、図1および図2に係る二重構造容器10において、アクチュエータ21に代えて、2つの吐出口(具体的には第1の吐出口34Aおよび第2の吐出口34B)を有し、これらの2つの吐出口の各々から第1の原液組成および第2の原液組成物が別々に吐出される構成のアクチュエータ31が設けられてなること以外は当該図1および図2に係る二重構造容器10と同様の構成を有するものである。
すなわち、図3に係る二重構造容器は、アクチュエータ31と共に、図1および図2に係る二重構造容器10を構成する耐圧容器11と同様の構成を有する耐圧容器を備えてなるものである。
なお、アクチュエータ31は、図1および図2に係る二重構造容器10におけるアクチュエータ21と同様に、第1のステムと第2のステムとに共通のアクチュエータであり、当該第1のステムおよび第2のステムの上端に設けられている。
すなわち、第1の原液用充填空間から吐出される第1の原液組成物の吐出量および第2の原液用充填空間から吐出される第2の原液組成物の吐出量のそれぞれが、当該第1の原液組成物の吐出量と当該第2の原液組成物の吐出量との平均値に対して±20%以内の範囲内にあることが好ましい。
ここに、混合比(第1の原液組成物の質量:第2の原液組成物の質量)は、例えば第1の原液組成物の温度20℃における粘度を10~125000mPa・sとし、第2の原液組成物の温度20℃における粘度を10~125000mPa・sとすることにより、上記の範囲内とすることができる。
そのため、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とが混合されると、イオン架橋反応が生じてゲル状組成物が形成される。また、2つの原液用充填空間の各々から第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とを、同時に適切な量で吐出(具体的には、同量吐出)させることができるため、第1の原液組成物と第2の原液組成物とを常に一定の量比で混合することができ、一方の原液組成物の吐出量が他方の原液組成物の吐出量に比して過剰となることがない。その結果、単に吐出機構を作動させる、具体的には例えばアクチュエータを1回押下操作(1プッシュ)することのみによって第1の原液組成物および第2の原液組成物を吐出させることにより、常に、所期のゲル状組成物を容易に形成することができる。
また、第1の原液組成物および第2の原液組成物の各々が容器外の空気に曝されることがないため、長期間にわたる保存安定性を得ることができる。
従って、本発明のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品によれば、優れた保存安定性を有し、所期のゲル状組成物を容易かつ安定的に形成することができる。
具体的には、パック剤、シップ剤および歯科用印象材などとして用いることができる。
<第1の原液組成物の調製>
下記の各成分を混合することにより、第1の原液組成物を調製した。
得られた第1の原液組成物について、BM型回転粘度計(ローターNo.4,30rpm,1分後)を用いて温度20℃における粘度を測定したところ、2000mPa・sであった。
精製水:91.87質量%
アルギン酸ナトリウム:1.50質量%
リン酸三ナトリウム:0.50質量%
ヒアルロン酸ナトリウム:0.10質量%
「Promois W-42U」((株)成和化成製):0.50質量%
1,3-ブチレングリコール:5.00質量%

下記の各成分を混合することにより、第2の原液組成物を調製した。
得られた第2の原液組成物について、BM型回転粘度計(ローターNo.4,30rpm,1分後)を用いて温度20℃における粘度を測定したところ、3400mPa・sであった。
精製水:97.70質量%
硫酸カルシウム:1.00質量%
キサンタンガム:1.00質量%
フェノキシエタノール:0.30質量%

図1および図2に示す構成の二重構造容器を用意し、当該二重構造容器の第1の原液用充填空間内(第1の内袋内)に第1の原液組成物を充填し、第2の原液用充填空間内(第2の内袋内)に第2の原液組成物を充填すると共に、噴射剤用充填空間内に噴射剤として窒素ガスを、当該二重構造容器内における製品内圧が25℃で0.7MPaとなるように充填することにより、パック剤として用いられるゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品を作製した。
また、実施例1に係るゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品は、温度45℃の環境条件下において、1ヶ月間にわたって長期間保存した後においても作製直後と同様のゲル状組成物が安定的に形成されることが確認された。

当該二重構造容器における噴射剤用充填空間には、圧縮ガスよりなる噴射剤が充填され、
当該二重構造容器における第1の原液用充填空間内には、第1の原液組成物が充填され、当該二重構造容器における第2の原液用充填空間内には、第2の原液組成物が充填されており、
前記第1の原液組成物は、水と水溶性アルギン酸塩とを含有するものであり、
前記第2の原液組成物は、水と解離性カルシウム塩とを含有するものであり、
前記第1の原液用充填空間から吐出される第1の原液組成物と、前記第2の原液用充填空間から吐出される第2の原液組成物とは、混合されることによりゲル状組成物を形成するものであることを特徴とするゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品。 - 前記吐出機構から吐出される第1の原液組成物および第2の原液組成物の混合比(第1の原液組成物の質量:第2の原液組成物の質量)が0.8:1.2~1.2:0.8であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品。
- 前記第1の原液組成物の温度20℃における粘度が10~125000mPa・sであり、前記第2の原液組成物の温度20℃における粘度が10~125000mPa・sであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品。
- 前記第1の原液組成物に含有される水溶性アルギン酸塩が、アルギン酸ナトリウム、アルギン酸カリウムおよびアルギン酸アンモニウムよりなる群から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項1~請求項3のいずれかに記載のゲル状組成物形成用エアゾール製品。
