- the blower unit 10 is supported so as to be rotatable up and down on the upper part of the support column 23 of the support unit 21.
- the support portion 21 has a support shaft 24 that protrudes from the side surface of the support portion 23 in the lateral direction and in directions opposite to each other.
- the support shaft 24 has a cylindrical shape, and may be fixed to the support column 23 with a screw, or may be molded integrally with the support column 23.
- a bearing 15 is fitted to each of the support shafts 24.
- the bearing 15 is rotatable around a swing axis D that is a central axis of the support shaft 24 having a cylindrical shape in a state in which the bearing 15 is fitted.
- a fixed plate 27 is fixed to the bearing 15, and the fan motor 12 is fixed to the fixed plate 27, so that the blower unit 10 including the fan motor 12 can be rotated up and down around the swing shaft D. Is done.
- the bearing 15 is fixed to one of the components of the ventilation part 10, the ventilation part 10 can be rotated up and down centering
- FIG. 5 is the perspective view which looked at the ventilation part 10 of the electric fan 50 concerning Embodiment 1 from back, and is a figure which shows the state which removed the cover 13.
- FIG. 6 is an exploded perspective view of the vertical automatic swing mechanism portion of the support post 23 according to the first embodiment.
- the vertical swing mechanism is supported by a swing motor 16 provided in the blower 10, a blower-side gear 17 attached to the output shaft 16 a of the swing motor 16, and a support that is fixed to the support 23 and meshes with the blower-side gear 17.
- a part-side gear 25 is provided.
- the swing motor 16 and the blower side gear 17 are provided inside the cover 13.
- the output shaft 16a of the swing motor 16 is parallel to the swing shaft D shown in FIG.
- the support portion side gear 25 has a shape obtained by cutting a part of a gear having a circular shape, that is, a shape in which a plurality of teeth are formed on an arcuate outer peripheral surface.
- the outer peripheral surface on which the teeth of the support portion side gear 25 are formed is an arc-shaped surface with the swing axis D as the center.
- the swing motor 16 is fixed to the fixing plate 27 fixed to the bearing 15, but may be fixed to any component of the blower unit 10.
- the blower portion side gear 17 Since the support portion side gear 25 is fixed to the support portion 23, when the swing motor 16 rotates the blower portion side gear 17, the blower portion side gear 17 moves along the outer periphery of the support portion side gear 25. As the swing motor 16 moves together with the blower side gear 17, the blower 10 to which the swing motor 16 is fixed rotates up and down around the swing axis D. By varying the rotation direction of the blower side gear 17 at a constant interval by the swing motor 16, it is possible to cause the blower unit 10 to automatically perform an up and down swinging operation.
- FIG. 7 is a partial enlarged cross-sectional view of the fan 50 according to the first embodiment, in which the swing mechanism portion is enlarged and viewed from the side.

- the swing mechanism of the electric fan 50 is provided with an urging unit 26 that applies an urging force to the air blowing unit 10 in the direction opposite to the rotation direction.
- a torsion spring is illustrated as the urging portion 26.
- One end of the urging portion 26 is fitted and fixed in the concave portion 25 a of the support portion side gear 25, and the other end of the urging portion 26 is fitted and fixed in the concave portion 15 a formed in the bearing 15.
- the urging unit 26 In a state where the center of gravity of the blower unit 10 is at a position G1 that is the same height as the swing axis D, the urging unit 26 is not twisted and is in a neutral state in which no urging force is exerted.
- the air blower 10 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow Y, and the position of the center of gravity of the air blower 10 is from the position G1 at the same height as the swing axis D to the position G2 higher than the swing axis D.
- the bearing 15 also rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow Y.
- the recess 15a also rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow Y, and the urging portion 26 is twisted.
- the restoring force of the urging unit 26 becomes the urging force that rotates the air blowing unit 10 in the direction indicated by the arrow X.
- the air blower 10 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow W so that the center of gravity of the air blower 10 moves from the position G1 having the same height as the swing shaft D toward the position G3 lower than the swing shaft D.
- the bearing 15 also rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow W.
- the recess 15a also rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow W, and the urging portion 26 is twisted.
- the restoring force of the urging unit 26 becomes the urging force that rotates the air blowing unit 10 in the direction indicated by the arrow V.
- the support column 23 that rotatably supports the blower unit 10 is formed in a single rod shape and is inserted inside the cover 13.
- the device can be downsized rather than exposed on both sides.
- weight reduction can be achieved by miniaturization of the support
- the design can be improved as compared with the case where the supporting column portions project on both sides of the cover 13.
- the swing shaft D that serves as the rotation axis of the blower unit 10 is provided at two locations: a support shaft 24 part provided on one side across the column part 23 and a support shaft 24 part provided on the other side. . Therefore, it becomes easy to make the distance between the swing axes D provided at two places closer. By making the swing axes D close to each other, the rotation axis is less likely to be displaced. Therefore, the demand for assembly accuracy can be suppressed, and the manufacturing cost can be suppressed and the assemblability can be improved.
- biasing part 26 can suppress the knocking which generate
- knocking of the blower unit 10 is likely to occur when the teeth of the blower unit side gear 17 and the support unit side gear 25 are disengaged during the rotation operation. Engagement between the teeth of the air blower side gear 17 and the support side gear 25 is more likely to occur as the center of gravity of the air blower 10 moves away from the position G1.
- the present invention is not limited to this. As long as sufficient strength for supporting the air blowing unit 10 can be obtained, the air blowing unit may be supported by one support shaft 24.
- the configuration described in the above embodiment shows an example of the contents of the present invention, and can be combined with another known technique, and can be combined with other configurations without departing from the gist of the present invention. It is also possible to omit or change the part.
