Definitions
- the present invention relates to a transmission control system.
- hydraulic actuators Conventionally, many transmissions use hydraulic actuators.
- hydraulic actuators have poor responsiveness, and characteristic changes due to environmental factors such as temperature are significant.
- it since it is necessary to mount a hydraulic pressure generating device, it becomes a cause of deterioration of cost, mass, and volume.
- an electromechanical part such as an electric motor has advantages such as small power supply capacity and mechanical output, although there are advantages such as a small change in characteristics due to responsiveness and environmental factors.
- an electromechanical part such as an electric motor has advantages such as small power supply capacity and mechanical output, although there are advantages such as a small change in characteristics due to responsiveness and environmental factors.
- an absolute position sensor may be provided in the transmission mechanism.
- the inventor of the present application studied using a position sensor for motor control.
- the position sensor for motor control is mainly intended to measure the electrical angle of the motor, so it often cannot cover the allowable angle range as a mechanical angle including the actuator. For this reason, the angle of the angle is integrated in the control controller to calculate the mechanical angle. If the stored mechanical value is erased when the power of the control controller is turned off, the electrical angle and the mechanical angle cannot be matched. Therefore, in many cases, the value is stored in a storage device that can hold the memory even when there is no power source.
- the gear ratio is slightly shifted with respect to the rotation of the motor due to the deflection or twist of the member or the initial position. Further, since backlash exists between the actuator and the rotating shaft, a difference from the gear ratio occurs when the moving direction is reversed. Furthermore, even if the actuator and the motor do not change, the gear ratio may shift due to the residual stress due to the internal structure of the transmission, and there is still a difference between the motor and the gear ratio.
- a measuring device for directly obtaining the gear ratio is required.
- a typical example of a measuring device is a rotation sensor attached to an input shaft and an output shaft. Since the ratio of the rotational speeds of the two rotation sensors becomes the gear ratio, it is possible to ensure the accuracy of the gear ratio. However, this rotation sensor cannot measure the gear ratio because no rotation speed is generated on the output shaft when the vehicle is stopped.
- the rotation sensor is a sensor that can easily grasp the behavior of the vehicle other than the gear ratio and is commonly used. Therefore, when the motor position sensor is used, the problem regarding the initial position when the power is turned off is an important point.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a transmission control system capable of improving the control accuracy of the transmission ratio.
- the present invention provides an electric motor, an actuator driven by the torque of the electric motor, a transmission that changes a gear ratio according to the amount of displacement of the actuator, and an electric current supplied to the electric motor.
- a current sensor for detecting a load current to be indicated, a position sensor for detecting a rotational position of the electric motor, and a plurality of characteristic curves indicating a correspondence relationship between the rotational position and the load current and a gear ratio are stored in association with each other.
- a storage device a drive unit that drives the electric motor while the vehicle is stopped; and the rotational position detected by the position sensor and the load current detected by the current sensor during a period in which the drive unit is operating.
- a control device having a first estimation unit that estimates an initial gear ratio indicating a gear ratio when the ignition switch is turned on from the characteristic curve. It is obtained by way.
- FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a transmission control system according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 2 is a block diagram (schematic diagram) of the control unit 1 (CU) shown in FIG.
- the control unit 1 is connected to the driver 2 that controls the motor 3 through the communication line 30 and transmits the position command of the motor 3 and receives the measurement position.
- the control unit 1 (control device) includes a microcomputer (arithmetic device), a memory (storage device), a communication device, an IC (Integrated Circuit), and the like.
- the driver 2 controls the rotational torque of the motor 3 through the drive wiring 31 and inputs rotational position information from the position sensor 4 (rotational sensor) that detects the rotational position of the motor 3 via the signal line 32 to a predetermined position. Controls the rotational position of the motor.
- the drive wiring 31 is provided with a current sensor 5 that detects a load current indicating a current supplied to the motor 3.
- the motor 3 is connected so that the position of the actuator 11 can be varied by rotating the rotary shaft 10. That is, the actuator 11 is driven by the torque of the motor 3.
- the actuator 11 may be a mechanism that can move in the axial direction with respect to the rotation axis, such as a ball screw mechanism.
- the actuator 11 applies a load corresponding to the rotational position of the motor 3 to the motor 3.
- Actuator 11 is connected to sliding shaft 12, and the gear ratio of transmission 13 can be changed by the movement of the shaft. That is, the transmission 13 changes the speed ratio in accordance with the displacement amount of the actuator 11. Since the rotational speed ratio between the input shaft 15 and the output shaft 14 changes as the transmission 13 changes the speed ratio, a speed change during vehicle travel can be realized.
- a belt-type continuously variable transmission can be used as the transmission 13 for realizing the change in the gear ratio.
- an internal combustion engine is connected to the input shaft 15, and wheels are connected to the output shaft 14 via, for example, a differential (diff).
- a differential differential
- FIG. 1 it is omitted for the sake of clarity.
- the gear ratio can be arbitrarily set by changing the position of the actuator 11 by rotating the motor 3. As a result, it is possible to perform a shift while the vehicle is running.
- the gear ratio can be controlled by controlling the rotational position of the motor 3.
- the gear ratio with respect to the rotation of the motor 3 is slightly deviated depending on the relationship between the deflection and twist of the member and the initial position.
- the rotation shaft 10 is subjected to a rotational force of the motor 3 to cause a certain angle error due to the torsional characteristics of the member.
- the sliding shaft 12 causes an error in position due to deflection.
- backlash exists between the actuator 11 and the rotary shaft 10
- a difference from the gear ratio occurs when the moving direction is reversed.
- the gear ratio may shift due to the stress caused by the internal structure of the transmission 13, and there will still be a discrepancy between the motor 3 and the gear ratio.
- a measuring device for directly obtaining the gear ratio is required.
- a typical example of a measuring device is a rotation sensor attached to an input shaft and an output shaft. Since the ratio of the rotational speeds of the two rotation sensors is the gear ratio, it is possible to ensure the accuracy of the gear ratio. However, this rotation sensor cannot measure the gear ratio because no rotation speed is generated on the output shaft 14 when the vehicle is stopped.
- the position information stored in the driver 2 that drives the motor 3 is the actual position. Deviate from. Therefore, it becomes difficult to control the gear ratio with high accuracy.
- Most of the position information of the position sensor 4 is for controlling the rotation of the motor, and is often measured in an electrical angle range determined by the armature and the magnet. In that case, if the mechanical rotation range of the motor 3 exceeds the angle range of the position sensor 4, the gear ratio takes a binary value or more with respect to the position indicated by the position sensor 4, and the control position may not be determined.
- the embodiment of the present invention provides the following functions in order to solve such problems.
- the position of the motor 3 is changed in the direction of the gear ratio, and the position of the motor 3 and the load current (ACT current) are measured.
- ACT current the load current
- a characteristic of the speed change mechanism is a change in the reduction ratio between the output shaft and the input shaft. For example, when the speed reduction ratio is changed even when the rotating body is stopped, a load on the rotating body corresponding to the speed reduction ratio is generated. When the load fluctuation is changed only in the actuator 11, the load fluctuation is applied only to the actuator 11, and the change in the reduction ratio can be grasped by changing the actuator 11. Since this change differs depending on the mechanism, it can be realized by correlating the relationship between the actuator 11 and the gear ratio by the characteristics corresponding to the mechanism.
- the shift position may be estimated from the load current and position of the motor 3 without operating the actuator 11.
- the load on the actuator 11 is Since it is related to the pressing force of the belt, it is difficult to obtain the correlation between the load current, the position, and the gear ratio when the position is not changed.
- FIG. 2 shows a block configuration of this embodiment.
- a condition determination device 501 for grasping an initial position, and the device determines whether the vehicle is stopped or IGN ON. Since the actuator 11 is operated for purposes other than shifting, it cannot be operated while the vehicle is running. In addition, the above-described condition determination is performed in order to cope with the fluctuations during the IGN OFF which is a problem.
- the position moving device 502 (driving unit) may be operated within a predetermined period after the ignition switch is turned ON, or may be operated at a timing when the ignition switch is turned ON.
- the actuator 11 is operated, and the actuator 11 is first changed to the low vehicle speed (Lo) side.
- the actuator 11 may be changed to the high vehicle speed (Hi) side first.
- the position moving device 502 functions as a drive unit that drives the motor 3 while the vehicle is stopped.
- This change speed should not affect the load state of the mechanism because the load for changing the position of the motor itself is added to the load of the mechanism that stopped the motor.
- the load current at the time of change can be calculated from the moment of inertia of the motor itself, it is more convenient to change the speed as fast as possible because the time for completing the position correction can be shortened.
- the actuator 11 After moving to the low speed limit, move the actuator 11 to the opposite high speed (Hi) side.
- Hi High speed
- the observation device 503 stores the signal of the current sensor 5 of the motor 3 and the signal of the position sensor 4 in the storage device 6.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining characteristic curves used in the transmission control system according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- the characteristic curve is a curve showing the correspondence between the rotational position of the motor 3 detected by the position sensor 4 and the load current (ACT current) detected by the current sensor 5.
- the characteristic curve is stored in a storage device built in the control unit 1 in association with the gear ratio, but may be stored in a storage device outside the control unit 1.
- the data stored by the observation apparatus 503 has a waveform including backlash as shown in FIG.
- the negative side may not exist depending on the speed change mechanism, and the current value of the current sensor 5 may be an inflection point other than 0. Since this is determined by the speed change mechanism, the characteristics of the speed change mechanism must be grasped and compared in advance. Since the stored data needs to be stored only within the range of movement of the actuator 11, the storage timing is set according to the information that the condition determination device 501 inputs with the position moving device 502 and the condition is established.
- the gear ratio while the vehicle is stopped can be calculated by determining the closest line as the gear shift position according to the characteristics of the gear shift mechanism obtained in advance by the analysis device 504.
- the analysis device 504 has an ignition switch based on the rotational position detected by the position sensor 4, the load current detected by the current sensor 5, and the characteristic curve during the period when the position moving device 502 (drive unit) is operating. It functions as a first estimation unit that estimates an initial gear ratio that indicates a gear ratio when turned ON.
- the analysis device 504 (first estimation unit) is detected by the rotational position detected by the position sensor 4 and the current sensor 5 during the period in which the position movement device 502 (drive unit) is operating.
- the load current follows (fits) a characteristic curve or a characteristic curve that is offset (translated)
- the gear ratio corresponding to the characteristic curve is estimated as the initial gear ratio.
- the position of the actuator 11 can be easily estimated if the relationship between the transmission gear ratio and the actuator 11 is one-to-one, and the initial position of the motor 3 can also be set in relation to the actuator 11.
- the analysis device 504 (second estimation unit) is detected by the current sensor 5 even if the rotational position detected by the position sensor 4 changes during the period in which the position movement device 502 (drive unit) is operating.
- the initial rotation position indicating the rotation position of the motor 3 when the ignition switch is turned on may be estimated based on the rotation position in the range where the load current does not change.
- the analysis device 504 sets the average rotation position in a range where the load current does not change as the initial rotation position.
- it may be a value between the minimum value and the maximum value of the rotational position in the range where the load current does not change, and is not limited to the average rotational position.
- the analysis device 504 (second estimation unit) has a locus of the rotational position detected by the position sensor 4 and the load current detected by the current sensor 5 during the period in which the position movement device 502 (drive unit) is operating.
- the rotation position at the inflection point of the curve drawn by may be estimated as the initial rotation position.
- the shift position at the time of stopping can be grasped before the transmission ratio from the rotation sensor is determined, and the starting performance can be improved.
- the initial position of the motor 3 can be determined, it can be easily compared with the initial position stored in advance. By calculating the shift position using the new initial position, it is possible to improve the control of the gear ratio during normal traveling. Controllability can also be improved by feeding back the difference between the new initial position and the stored initial position to the shift line as needed, such as by applying an offset to the shift line.
- FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a toroidal CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
- the rotation of the input disk 203 connected to the input shaft 15 transmits rotational energy to the roller 201 via traction oil, and the rotational energy is also transmitted from the roller 201 to the output disk 202 via traction oil.
- the input radius 203 is from the axis center of the input disk 203 to the contact point between the input disk 203 and the roller 201
- the output radius 211 is from the axis center of the output disk 202 to the contact point between the output disk 202 and the roller 201.
- the input shaft 15 is connected to, for example, an internal combustion engine, and the output shaft 14 is connected to wheels via, for example, a differential (diff).
- a differential differential
- the transmission ratio can be varied by changing the input radius 210 and the output radius 211.
- the relationship between the position of the actuator 11 and the gear ratio is roughly as follows.
- the holding force of the actuator 11 is the lowest when the inclination of the roller 201 is parallel, and the holding force of the actuator 11 needs to increase as the inclination increases. become.
- the initial position of the actuator 11 can be estimated according to the characteristics of the mechanism.
- the horizontal point of the roller 201 is a point where the holding force of the actuator 11 is changed by slowly changing the actuator 11 to the left and right and the holding force becomes the smallest. With this point as the initial position, the maximum speed ratio (lowest speed side) can be adjusted from the characteristic line of the speed change mechanism with respect to the movement distance of the actuator 11.
- the characteristic line of the speed change mechanism is the relationship between the rotational position of the motor 3 calculated from the tilt angle of the roller 201 and the speed change ratio, and the speed change ratio is determined from the position of the contact point between the input disk 203 and the output disk 202. It is a value calculated from the input radius 210 and the output radius 211 which are the distances up to. This is a mechanical design value and the characteristic calculation is easy.
- the torsional characteristics of the rotating shaft 10 connected to the motor 3 can clarify the relationship between the rotational load and the torsion from the material characteristics of the rotating shaft 10.
- the relationship between the load and the deflection amount can be grasped from the material characteristics of the sliding shaft 12.
- backlash it is possible to grasp the amount of backlash by reversing the motor 3 and checking the load current. The accuracy of such error factors can be improved by correcting the data acquired when the motor 3 is changed.
- the analysis device 504 may correct the initial rotation position in accordance with the mechanism of the actuator 11 or the material of the parts constituting the actuator 11. Further, the position moving device 502 (driving unit) may drive the electric motor based on the initial rotational position estimated by the analyzing device 504 (second estimating unit).
- FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to HMT (Hydraulic Mechanical Transmission).
- a hydraulic pressure is generated by pushing the piston in the flanger block 301 connected to the input shaft 15 by the rotation of the input shaft 15 by the hydraulic pump 303, and the hydraulic motor 302 rotates the output shaft 14 by this hydraulic pressure.
- the gear ratio can be varied.
- the actuator 11 is connected to the hydraulic pump 303 to make the swash plate of the hydraulic pump 303 variable, but the actuator 11 is connected to the hydraulic motor 302 to make the swash plate of the hydraulic motor 302 variable. Similar effects can be obtained.
- the case where it connects with the hydraulic pump 303 is demonstrated as one Example.
- the input shaft 15 is connected to, for example, an internal combustion engine, and the output shaft 14 is connected to wheels via, for example, a differential (diff).
- a differential differential
- the gear ratio can be varied by changing the position of the actuator 11 to change the swash plate of the hydraulic pump 303.
- the relationship between the position of the actuator 11 and the gear ratio is roughly as follows.
- the actuator 11 When the vehicle is stopped and the power is turned off, the actuator 11 loses its holding force. Therefore, the actuator 11 is tilted to the left by the residual hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic pump 303. Thereby, the shift position after power OFF becomes unclear.
- the initial position of the actuator 11 can be estimated according to the characteristics of the mechanism.
- the holding force of the actuator 11 changes according to the set hydraulic pressure and the inclination angle of the hydraulic pump 303.
- the point at which the holding force is the smallest is the point at which no pressing pressure is applied to the piston of the hydraulic pump 302. With this point as the initial position, the maximum gear ratio (lowest speed side) can be adjusted from the characteristic line with respect to the moving distance of the actuator 11.
- the characteristic line is the correspondence between the set hydraulic pressure and the inclination angle of the swash plate, and it can be obtained from both the design value and the experiment.
- the amount of backlash can be determined by reversing the motor 3 and checking the load current.
- the accuracy of such error factors can be improved by correcting the data acquired when the motor 3 is changed.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a belt type CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
- the rotational energy of the input pulley 103 connected to the input shaft 15 is transmitted from the output pulley 102 to the output shaft 14 via the belt 101.
- the input shaft 15 is connected to, for example, an internal combustion engine, and the output shaft 14 is connected to wheels via, for example, a differential (diff).
- a differential differential
- the gear ratio can be varied by changing the input radius and the output radius by changing the positions of the actuator 11a and the actuator 11b.
- the relationship between the positions of the actuators 11a and 11b and the gear ratio is roughly as follows.
- both pulleys may slightly change to the opening side due to belt tension.
- the actuator 11b needs to be controlled so as to hold the position.
- the contact position between the output pulley 102 and the belt 101 can be grasped if the force is varied while the actuator 11b is kept in the position of the actuator 11b.
- the pressing force of the actuator 11a is a force that the input pulley 103 tries to widen the radius of the belt 101.
- the pressing force of the actuator 11a becomes a force that spreads the belt 101 in the radial direction.
- the tensile stress of the belt 101 is determined according to the distance from the input shaft to the contact point of the belt 101, and the output pulley 102 to the actuator 11b.
- the load is also determined according to the distance from the output shaft to the contact point of the belt 101.
- the relationship between the position and the load is determined by the degree of engagement of the belt 101, that is, the gear ratio.
- the initial positions of the actuator 11a and the actuator 11b can be calculated according to the current speed ratio calculated according to this characteristic and the position where the actuator load is zero.
- the change amount of the actuator 11b is obtained. Therefore, the speed change ratio can be obtained by measuring the change amounts of the actuator 11a and the actuator 11b. . As a result, the initial positions of the actuator 11a and the actuator 11b can be calculated from the current speed ratio of the speed change mechanism.
- the position of contact with the belt 101 is determined by grasping the position where the load of the actuator 11a and the actuator 11b rises from zero.
- the shift position can be grasped by the degree of engagement of the belt 101.
- the absolute position relationship between the shift position and the actuator 11 can calculate the initial position of the actuator 11 using a value calculated from the design value of the mechanism.
In backlash, it is possible to grasp the amount of backlash by reversing the motor 3 and checking the load current.
- the transmission of the transmission load is acquired as a motor current by changing the position of the actuator 11 by the motor 3, and the characteristics of the transmission mechanism are compared with the information of the position sensor of the motor 3. By doing so, the correlation between the gear ratio and the motor 3 can be grasped.
- the initial position of the motor 3 is used for actuator position control of shift control.
- the actual gear ratio during traveling is generally obtained by the rotation ratio of two rotation sensors attached to the input shaft 15 and the output shaft 14.
- the speed change control is generally performed using both feedback control for reducing the difference between the speed ratio calculated from the rotation sensor and the target speed ratio, and feedforward control for improving the response.
- the feedforward control value affects the followability and responsiveness if the initial position accuracy is poor.
- the responsiveness and the followability can be improved by calculating the initial position and utilizing it for shift control.
- the control accuracy of the gear ratio can be improved. Further, by using a position sensor for motor control for position control of the transmission, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and includes various modifications.
- the above-described embodiment has been described in detail for easy understanding of the present invention, and is not necessarily limited to one having all the configurations described.
- a part of the configuration of an embodiment can be replaced with the configuration of another embodiment, and the configuration of another embodiment can be added to the configuration of an embodiment.
- the actuator 11 is moved to the low speed side or the limit (end) on the high speed side, but may not be moved to the limit.
- an internal combustion engine is connected to the input shaft 15 as an example, but the power source is not limited to the internal combustion engine, and may be, for example, an electric motor. Different types of power sources such as an internal combustion engine and an electric motor may be used.

Abstract
Description
図4は、トロイダル型CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission)に本発明を適用した実施例を示す図である。
図5は、HMT(Hydraulic Mechanical Transmission)に本発明を適用した実施例を示す図である。
図6は、ベルト式CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission)に本発明を適用した実施例を示す図である。
