- the lid 112 when the lid 112 is in the open position, the lid 112 can be held on one side adjacent to the printer main body 120, thereby blocking the ink capacity display surface 114 of the ink containing main body 111. It can be prevented from becoming a configuration.
- an upper limit display line and a lower limit display line or other capacity display lines for displaying the ink capacity in the ink tank are displayed.
- the amount of ink injected can be confirmed by the capacity display line on the ink capacity display surface 114.
- the exposed ink volume display surface 114 clearly and without obstacles sees the liquid level of the already injected ink. Will be able to. Thereby, it can be avoided that too much ink is injected and the surrounding environment (for example, the inkjet printer 100, the user's hands and clothes, white printing paper, or already printed documents) is stained. As a result, the possibility of polluting the surrounding environment can be reduced.
- the lid 112 in the open position does not occupy extra space behind the inkjet printer. Therefore, when the ink jet printer 100 is placed on the desk surface, it is not necessary to consider preliminarily securing a space for the lid 112 that is opened behind the ink jet printer 100, and the rear portion of the ink jet printer 100 is directly attached to the wall surface. May be arranged. In this way, since there is a space on the desk surface, other articles can be placed, which is extremely convenient for the user, particularly in a situation where the desk space is small. In addition, when the user tries to inject ink into the ink containing unit 110 by opening the lid 112, the user does not have to carry the inkjet printer 100 to a place with sufficient space, which makes the user's use convenient.

- the inlet 41 is completely exposed.
- the user places the seal member 42 in another place so that the user can open the seal member 42 on the inlet and perform the ink injection operation. Since there is a possibility that ink adheres to the seal member 42, in such a case, there is a possibility that the periphery of the position where the seal member 42 is placed is soiled.
- the inkjet printer may be soiled, the user's hand or clothes may be soiled, and white printing paper or printed documents may be soiled.
- FIG. 8 shows a state where the lid 212 is in the open position, and the injection part 213 and the mounting part 218 are completely exposed.
- the injection part 313 and the placement part 218 become visible to the user at the same time. Therefore, after the user removes the seal member 217 from the injection port 219, the seal member 217 is placed. It can be placed on the placement portion 218.
- the ink injection operation is performed immediately after seeing the injection port 219, and the seal member 217 is placed in another position to thereby surround the surrounding environment.
- inkjet printers for example, inkjet printers, users' hands and clothes, and eventually white printing paper and printed documents, etc.
- the ink adhering to the seal member 217 is limited only within the placement portion 218.
