Move to 100a. Further, the intraocular lens 2 moves to the proximal end region 100d, moves to the distal end region 100b while maintaining a curved state, and moves into the lens capsule while being held on the side wall of the distal end region 100b. Therefore, when guiding the intraocular lens 2 into the lens capsule, it is possible to prevent the intraocular lens 2 from being ejected outside the eye when the intraocular lens 2 moves to the distal end opening 100a.
- the protrusion 100c at the tip of the insertion tube 100, the insertion property of the insertion tube 100 into the eyeball with respect to a small incision provided in the eyeball is improved. That is, in the present embodiment, the incision 140a of the distal end portion 10a in a top view when the distal end portion 10a is viewed in the optical axis direction (X-axis direction) of the intraocular lens 2 set in the intraocular lens insertion instrument 1.
- the length in the insertion direction of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is substantially equal to the length in the direction perpendicular to the insertion direction.
- the amount of insertion from the incision 140a into the eye is not sufficient, that is, as described above, a part of the distal end opening 100a is outward of the incision 140a.
- the top end portion 100a of the nozzle body 10 when viewed from the top is so shaped that the top end portion 10a is substantially square.
- the length in the longitudinal direction (Z-axis direction) and the dimensions of the tip opening 100a are set.
- the surgeon inserts the intraocular lens insertion device 1 into the eye from the incision 140a provided in the cornea 140 of the patient, the operator inserts the inner part of the incision 140a in the distal end portion 10a of the nozzle body 10. Whether or not the amount of insertion from the incision 140a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 into the eye is insufficient by checking whether or not the shape of the portion protruding from the valve 140b in a top view is substantially square. Can be changed. Below, the modification of said embodiment is shown. Note that, in the following modified example, the same reference numerals are given to the same configurations as those in the above-described embodiment, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
- FIG. 12 shows a detailed plan view of the vicinity of the insertion tube portion 100 of the nozzle body 10 as in FIG.
- an index 150 is provided at a position overlapping the tip opening 100a at the tip 10a of the nozzle body 10 when the tip 10a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is viewed from above.
- the index 150 corresponds to an example of index means. As shown in FIG.
- the intraocular lens insertion device 1 when the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is inserted through the incision 140a, the distal end portion in the optical axis direction (X-axis direction) of the intraocular lens 2 set in the intraocular lens insertion device 1
- the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is positioned so that the inner valve 140b of the incision 140a and the index 150 overlap each other when viewed from above when viewing 10a.
- FIG. 13 shows a schematic diagram when the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is inserted into the incision 140a of the cornea 140 of the patient.
- the distal end portion 10a of the nozzle body 10 of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 protrudes from the cornea 140 into the patient's eyeball through the outer valve 140c and the inner valve 140b of the incision 140a.
- the intraocular lens is arranged such that the index 150 provided on the distal end portion 10a and the inner valve 140b of the cornea 140 overlap with each other when the distal end portion 10a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is viewed from above.
- the insertion instrument 1 is inserted into the eye through the incision 140a.
- the end 100e on the negative side of the Z-axis of the tip opening 100a in the nozzle body 10 substantially overlaps the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a (that is, the tip opening 100a as a whole is overlapped).
- the distal opening 100a Located inside the cornea 140 relative to the outer valve 140c). Accordingly, the distal opening 100a does not come out of the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a (on the negative side of the Z axis), so that when the intraocular lens is ejected from the distal opening 100a, the lens ejection behavior is incomplete. It can be said that there is no possibility of occurrence.
- the surgeon inserts the intraocular lens insertion device 1 into the eye from the incision 140a provided in the cornea 140 of the patient, the operator sees the nozzle in the top view of the distal end portion 10a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1.

- the end 100e on the negative side of the Z axis of the tip opening 100a in the nozzle body 10 protrudes outside the outward valve 140c (the negative side of the Z axis) of the incision 140a. Accordingly, since a part of the distal end opening 100a protrudes outside the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a, a lens ejection behavior failure may occur when the intraocular lens is ejected from the distal end opening 100a. There is sex.
- the surgeon inserts the intraocular lens insertion device 1 into the eye from the incision 140a provided in the cornea 140 of the patient, the distal end portion of the nozzle body 10 out of the distal end portion 10a of the nozzle body 10.
- the incision 140a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 can be checked. It can be determined whether or not the amount of insertion into the eye is insufficient.
- the operator positions the index 150 on the outer valve 140c side of the incision 140a or on the outer side of the outer valve 140c. If so, the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is further pushed into the eye, and the position of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is adjusted so that the index 150 and the inner valve 140b overlap as shown in FIG. Thus, the amount of insertion into the eye from the incision 140a of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 can be appropriately controlled.

- the tip portion 10a is formed so that the shape of the tip portion 10a is substantially rectangular or substantially square.
- the distal end portion 10a is formed so that the shape of the distal end portion 10a is substantially semi-elliptical or semi-circular when the distal end portion 10a protrudes into the eye from the inner valve 140b of the incision 140a. Good.
- the length of the insertion direction of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 and the insertion direction of the portion of the incision 140a of the distal end portion 10a that protrudes into the eye from the inner valve 140b It is possible to determine whether or not the insertion amount of the intraocular lens insertion device 1 is appropriate based on the relationship with the length in the direction perpendicular to the angle.
- the index 150 is a mark printed on the outer peripheral surface of the tip portion 10a of the nozzle body 10.
- the index 150 is not limited to such a mark, and can be visually confirmed by an operator.
- a convex portion, a concave portion or a step is provided or an indicator.
- Various known indexes such as roughening or coloring in the distal direction or the proximal direction from the position to be provided can be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the distal end portion 10a.
- the indicator portion is an indicator that the entire distal end opening portion 100a is positioned inside the cornea 140 with respect to the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a.
- the fact that the entire distal end opening 100a is located inside the cornea 140 relative to the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a means that the outer end of the cornea 140 is located outside the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a in the distal opening 100a.
- a part of the distal end opening 100a is located outside the cornea 140 from the outer valve 140c of the incision 140a, but is located outside the cornea 140 from the outer valve 140c. This also includes the case where the area of the tip opening 100a is a small area that does not substantially cause lens ejection behavior failure.
