Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子の模式的平面図である。図1に示すように、弾性波共振子1は、矩形板状の圧電基板2を有する。圧電基板2は、LiTaO3やLiNbO3のような圧電単結晶基板からなる。圧電基板2は、圧電セラミックスにより形成されていてもよい。
図2は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子の模式的平面図である。第2の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子21では、第1の段間バスバー9の第2の電極指3bが設けられている側に、一端が第1の段間バスバー9に接続された複数本の第3のダミー電極指14が設けられている。第3のダミー電極指14の他端は、第1のIDT電極3の第1の電極指3aと隙間を隔てて対向して配置されている。なお、第2の実施形態においては、第1の段間バスバー9の第3の電極指4aが設けられている側には、一端が第1の段間バスバー9に接続された複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられていない。その他の点は、第1の実施形態と同様である。
図3は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子の模式的平面図である。第3の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子31では、第1の段間バスバー9の第3の電極指4aが設けられている側に、一端が第1の段間バスバー9に接続された複数本の第3のダミー電極指14が設けられている。第3のダミー電極指14の他端は、第2のIDT電極4の第4の電極指4bと隙間を隔てて対向して配置されている。なお、第3の実施形態においては、第1の段間バスバー9の第2の電極指3bが設けられている側には、一端が第1の段間バスバー9に接続された複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられていない。その他の点は、第1の実施形態と同様である。
図4は、本発明の第4の実施形態に係る弾性波装置の模式的平面図である。第4の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子41では、第1の段間バスバー9の第2の電極指3bが設けられている側と、第3の電極指4aが設けられている側との双方に、一端が第1の段間バスバー9に接続されている複数本の第3のダミー電極指14,14が設けられている。複数本の第3のダミー電極指14,14の他端は、複数本の第1の電極指3a又は複数本の第4の電極指4bと、隙間を隔てて対向して配置されている。弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、第3のダミー電極指14,14の長さは、第1,第2のダミー電極指12,13の長さより短い。その他の点は、第1の実施形態と同様である。なお、第3のダミー電極指14,14を部分的に設けない構成と組み合わすこともできる。
図5は、本発明の第5の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子の模式的平面図である。第5の実施形態に係る弾性波共振子51では、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、第2の分割共振子1Bに、さらに第3の分割共振子1Cが直列に接続されている。すなわち、第5の実施形態では、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、直列に分割された第1~第3の分割共振子1A~1Cが圧電基板2上に設けられている。
図6は、本発明の一実施形態に係るラダー型フィルタの回路図である。図6に示すラダー型フィルタでは、入力端子15と出力端子16とを結ぶ直列腕に、直列腕共振子S1~S5が設けられている。直列腕共振子S1は、直列分割されている。すなわち、直列腕共振子S1は、2個の分割共振子S1a,S1bに分割されている。同様にして、直列腕共振子S2は、2個の分割共振子S2a,S2bに分割されており、直列腕共振子S3は、2個の分割共振子S3a,S3bに分割されている。また、直列腕共振子S4は、2個の分割共振子S4a,S4bに分割されており、直列腕共振子S5は、3個の分割共振子S5a~S5cに分割されている。

Claims (13)
- 弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、直列に分割された複数の分割共振子が圧電基板上に設けられており、前記複数の分割共振子がそれぞれIDT電極を有する弾性波共振子であって、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、最も外側に位置している両側のバスバーである第1,第2の外側バスバーと、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、隣接する2つの前記IDT電極を電気的に接続している第1の段間バスバーと、
一端が前記第1の外側バスバーに接続された複数本の第1の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されており、前記複数本の第1の電極指と互いに間挿し合っている複数本の第2の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の段間バスバーの前記複数本の第2の電極指が設けられている側とは反対側に接続されている複数本の第3の電極指と、
前記複数本の第3の電極指と互いに間挿し合っている複数本の第4の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の外側バスバーに接続されており、前記複数本の第2の電極指と隙間を隔てて対向して配置される複数本の第1のダミー電極指と、
一端が前記第2の外側バスバーに接続された複数本の第2のダミー電極指とを備え、
前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との少なくとも一方に、一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されている複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられておらず、又は、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記複数本の第1,第2のダミー電極指の長さより長さが短い前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指をさらに有しており、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記第2の電極指の延びる延長上に、前記第1の段間バスバーを介して、前記第3の電極指が配置されており、
前記第1,第2の電極指が互いに間挿し合っている部分の電極指のピッチが、前記第3,第4の電極指が互いに間挿し合っている部分の電極指のピッチと等しくされている、弾性波共振子。 - 前記第1の外側バスバーが設けられている前記IDT電極を第1のIDT電極とし、弾性波伝搬方向に直交する方向において、前記第1のIDT電極に隣接している前記IDT電極を第2のIDT電極としたときに、前記第1のIDT電極により伝搬される弾性波と、前記第2のIDT電極により伝搬される弾性波との位相及び波長が等しくされている、請求項1に記載の弾性波共振子。
- 弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、直列に分割された複数の分割共振子が圧電基板上に設けられており、前記複数の分割共振子がそれぞれIDT電極を有する弾性波共振子であって、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、最も外側に位置している両側のバスバーである第1,第2の外側バスバーと、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、隣接する2つの前記IDT電極を電気的に接続している第1の段間バスバーと、
一端が前記第1の外側バスバーに接続された複数本の第1の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されており、前記複数本の第1の電極指と互いに間挿し合っている複数本の第2の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の段間バスバーの前記複数本の第2の電極指が設けられている側とは反対側に接続されている複数本の第3の電極指と、
前記複数本の第3の電極指と互いに間挿し合っている複数本の第4の電極指と、
一端が前記第1の外側バスバーに接続されており、前記複数本の第2の電極指と隙間を隔てて対向して配置される複数本の第1のダミー電極指と、
一端が前記第2の外側バスバーに接続された複数本の第2のダミー電極指とを備え、
前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との少なくとも一方に、一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されている複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられておらず、又は、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記複数本の第1,第2のダミー電極指の長さより長さが短い前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指をさらに有しており、
前記第1の外側バスバーが設けられている前記IDT電極を第1のIDT電極とし、弾性波伝搬方向に直交する方向において、前記第1のIDT電極に隣接している前記IDT電極を第2のIDT電極としたときに、前記第1のIDT電極により伝搬される弾性波と、前記第2のIDT電極により伝搬される弾性波との位相及び波長が等しくされている、弾性波共振子。 - 弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記第2の電極指の延びる延長上に、前記第1の段間バスバーを介して、前記第3の電極指が配置されており、
前記第1,第2の電極指が互いに間挿し合っている部分の電極指のピッチが、前記第3,第4の電極指が互いに間挿し合っている部分の電極指のピッチと等しくされている、請求項3に記載の弾性波共振子。 - 前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との双方に、一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されている前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられていない、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。
- 前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との一方に、一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されている前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられており、前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との他方に、前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられていない、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。
- 前記第1の段間バスバーの前記第2の電極指が設けられている側と前記第3の電極指が設けられている側との双方に、一端が前記第1の段間バスバーに接続されている複数本の第3のダミー電極指が設けられており、
弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記複数本の第3のダミー電極指の長さが、前記複数本の第1,第2のダミー電極指の長さより短い、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。 - 前記複数本の第4の電極指の一端が、前記第2の外側バスバーに接続されており、
前記複数本の第2のダミー電極指の前記第2の外側バスバーと接続されていない側の他端が、前記複数本の第3の電極指と隙間を隔てて対向して配置されている、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。 - 前記複数本の第4の電極指の一端が接続されており、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、隣接する2つの前記IDT電極を電気的に接続している第2の段間バスバーと、
一端が前記第2の段間バスバーの前記複数本の第4の電極指が設けられている側とは反対側に接続されている複数本の第5の電極指と、
前記複数本の第5の電極指と互いに間挿し合っている複数本の第6の電極指をさらに備え、
前記第2の段間バスバーの前記第4の電極指が設けられている側と、前記第5の電極指が設けられている側との少なくとも一方に、一端が前記第2の段間バスバーに接続されている複数本の第4のダミー電極指が設けられておらず、又は、弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記複数本の第1,第2のダミー電極指の長さより長さが短い前記複数本の第4のダミー電極指をさらに有する、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。 - 弾性波伝搬方向と直交する方向において、前記第4の電極指の延びる延長上に、前記第2の段間バスバーを介して、前記第5の電極指が配置されており、

- 前記複数本の第6の電極指の一端が、前記第2の外側バスバーに接続されており、
前記複数本の第2のダミー電極指の前記第2の外側バスバーと接続されていない側の他端が、前記複数本の第5の電極指と隙間を隔てて対向して配置されている、請求項9~11のいずれか1項に記載の弾性波共振子。 - 入力端子及び出力端子を結ぶ直列腕に設けられた複数の直列腕共振子と、前記直列腕とグラウンド電位とを結ぶ複数の並列腕にそれぞれ設けられた複数の並列腕共振子とを備え、
