前記複数条のラック及び前記複数のラック噛合用ギアの組のうち、少なくとも一対のラック及びラック噛合用ギアの組を、前記接合装置本体の移動に伴う前記摩擦撹拌接合用ツールのツール移動経路の真下位置の両側に或る距離を隔てて配置し、且つ前記一対のラック及び前記ラック噛合用ギアの組同士は、互いの歯の配置を半ピッチずらして設けた構成を有する摩擦撹拌接合装置。 - 互いの歯の配置を半ピッチずらして配置した一対のラック及びラック噛合用ギアの組同士は、接合装置本体の移動に伴う摩擦撹拌接合用ツールのツール移動経路の真下位置を対象軸とする対称位置に配置する請求項1記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
- 摩擦撹拌接合用ツールのプローブをn回対称の回転対称形状とし、摩擦撹拌接合施工時の摩擦撹拌接合用ツールの回転数のx[rpm]と、摩擦撹拌接合施工時の摩擦撹拌接合用ツールの移動速度v[mm/s]を基に、ラックにおけるギア噛合部材のピッチt[mm]を、t>(600・v)/(n×x)の式を満たすように設定した請求項1記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
- 摩擦撹拌接合用ツールのプローブをn回対称の回転対称形状とし、摩擦撹拌接合施工時の摩擦撹拌接合用ツールの回転数のx[rpm]と、摩擦撹拌接合施工時の摩擦撹拌接合用ツールの移動速度v[mm/s]を基に、ラックにおけるギア噛合部材のピッチt[mm]を、t>(600・v)/(n×x)の式を満たすように設定した請求項2記載の摩擦撹拌接合装置。
