- FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along line XX in FIG.
- a second deck 15 is provided below the upper deck 2 and is separated by a vertical partition 14 to provide pipe spaces 61P and 61S and lashing spaces 30P and 30S.
- water ballast tanks 56 ⁇ / b> P and 56 ⁇ / b> S are formed by the ship side outer plate 12, the vertical partition wall 13, the ship bottom outer plate 10, the inner bottom plate 8 and the center line girder 16.
- voids 60P and 60S are formed by the vertical bulkhead 13, the ship-length bulkhead 4 and the inner bottom plate 8. For example, in the cross section in the ship width direction where the fuel tanks 42P and 42S are provided, the fuel tank is provided at the positions of the voids 60P and 60S.
- the bottom of the cargo ship 1 has a double bottom structure consisting of the bottom skin 10 and the bottom 8, and the ship side of the cargo ship 1 has a ship side skin 12, a vertical partition 13 or a vertical partition 14, A triple ship side structure is formed by the bulkhead bulkhead 4.
- the hold C is formed of left and right ship-direction partition walls 4, 4 that extend in the ship direction, a bow partition wall 7, a stern partition wall 9, and an inner bottom plate 8.
- the hold width CB of the hold C is preferably set to 25% to 40% of the ship width B, and more preferably set to 30% to 35%. By setting the hold width CB of the hold C to 25% to 40% of the ship width B, the left and right deck widths of the hold C are set to 30% to 37.5%, respectively.
- a plurality of horizontal partition walls 3 are disposed under the upper deck 2.
- a conventional cargo ship is provided with a plurality of cargo holds, and a transverse bulkhead is disposed between the cargo holds to ensure the strength of the hull.
- the hold C according to the present embodiment is one hold with a very long hold CL, the hold C is very weak against the lateral force acting on the hull. Therefore, by providing a plurality of transverse bulkheads 3 below the upper deck 2 as in the present embodiment, it is possible to provide a hold C with a long hold CL while ensuring the strength of the hull.
- the height H of the double bottom of the hold C is set to 1/5 to 1/10 of the ship width B.
- the bottom of the cargo ship 1 has a double bottom structure consisting of a ship bottom outer plate 10 and an inner bottom plate 8, but the height of the double bottom in a conventional cargo ship is 1/13 to 1/16 of the ship width. Set to degree.
- the hold C according to the present embodiment is one hold having a very long hold CL, the hold C is very weak against lateral and vertical forces acting on the hull. Therefore, as in this embodiment, the height H of the double bottom of the hold C is set to 1/5 to 1/10 of the ship width B, that is, by sufficiently securing the height H of the double bottom, A long hold C with a long hold CL can be provided.
- the hold C in which the hold length CL is about 80% of the ship length L, can be provided while sufficiently securing the hull strength. For this reason, long cargos such as rails of about 150 m, which could not be transported conventionally, can be transported.
- the hold length CL is determined by the length L, but the hold length CL is preferably set to 75% to 85% of the length L, and more preferably set to 78% to 82%. That is, for example, in the case of a cargo ship 1 having a captain of 200 m, the hold length CL of the hold C can be secured about 150 to 170 m. Therefore, even a long cargo having a total length exceeding 150 m can be transported by the cargo ship 1 provided with the hold C having a long hold CL while suppressing the increase of the length L.
- the left and right ship-direction bulkheads 4 and 4 that form the hold C have openings on the bow side and the stern side, respectively. 5 and 6 are preferably provided.
- a longitudinal bending moment acts on the cargo ship 1
- a sagging state or a hogging state is obtained.
- a compressive force acts on the upper deck 2 side
- a tensile force acts on the bottom bottom plate 10 side.
- a tensile force acts on the upper deck 2 side
- a compressive force acts on the ship bottom skin 10 side.
- openings 5 and 5 are first provided on the bow sides of the left and right ship-direction partition walls 4 and 4.
- the lower side of the openings 5 and 5 reaches the inner bottom plate 8, but the upper side of the openings 5 and 5 does not reach the upper end of the ship-direction partition 4. This is because if the lower part of the ship-direction bulkhead 4 is connected to the horizontal bulkhead, stress concentrates on that part and there is a risk of buckling or breaking.
- Openings 6 and 6 are also provided on the stern side of the left and right ship-direction partition walls 4 and 4.
- the lower side of the openings 6, 6 reaches the inner bottom plate 8, but the upper side of the openings 6, 6 does not reach the upper end of the ship length direction partition wall 4. This is for the same reason as the openings 5 and 5 described above.
- the inner edge 5a of the opening 5 and the inner edge 6a of the opening 6 are formed smoothly.
- the openings 5 and 6 are preferably provided with gratings 5b and 6b, respectively.
- these lattices 5b and 6b for example, when a cargo bag such as powder is loaded on the hold C, the collapse of the cargo bag can be prevented.
- these lattices 5b and 6b do not constitute the openings 5 and 6, but are provided separately from the openings 5 and 6 and have different functions and effects.
- the bow S according to the cargo ship 1 of the present embodiment is preferably an upright bow.
- a cargo ship is generally provided with a Barbus bow to minimize wave resistance.
- the captain of the cargo ship will be longer. Therefore, by making the bow S of the cargo ship 1 of the present embodiment an upright bow, it is possible to secure the maximum length CL of the hold C while suppressing the increase in length of the master L.
- the main engine according to the cargo ship 1 of the present embodiment is provided above the stern.
- the main engine when the main engine is provided on the stern side, it is preferable to provide the main engine below the stern as much as possible considering the stability of the ship.
- the width of the stern bottom becomes gradually narrower toward the stern side. Therefore, if the main engine is provided as low as possible, it will be a portion that is located forward of the stern and that can secure a sufficient width for providing the main engine.
- the main engine is provided in front of the stern, it is unavoidable that the hold is provided forward, and if a hold with a long hold is provided, the length of the captain is increased.
- the engine room ER can be provided on the stern side as much as possible by providing the main engine according to the present embodiment above the stern having a sufficient width for providing the main engine. Therefore, it is possible to provide the cargo ship 1 provided with the hold C having a long hold CL while suppressing the ship L.
- the plurality of deck cranes 11 according to the cargo ship 1 of the present embodiment are installed only on either the left or right side of the hold C.
- a deck crane is generally installed between the cargo holds in the center of the hull.
- the cargo ship 1 according to the present embodiment is first provided with a hold C having a long hold CL at the center of the hull, a deck crane cannot be installed at the center of the hull.
- the evacuation space 20 includes stairs 23 a, 23 b, and 23 c that extend from the cargo floor 24 to the floor 27 via the floor 25 and the floor 26, and ladders that extend from the cargo floor 24 to the floor 26. 22 a and a ladder 22 b extending from the floor 27 to the upper deck 2.
- the upper deck 2 and the retreat space 20 are electrically connected via a retreat space hatch 28.
- the evacuation space 20 and the hold C are electrically connected by an entrance / exit 21 provided in the ship-length partition wall 4. The operator can go back and forth between the floors 24, 25, 26, 27 and the hold C in the evacuation space 20 through the entrance 21 according to the cargo loading height in the hold C. Therefore, a retreating place for workers who perform cargo handling work in the hold C can be secured.
- lashing lashing device 31 As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, lashing spaces 30, 30 are provided along the length direction bulkheads 4, 4 on the left and right sides of the hold C according to the cargo ship 1 of the present embodiment. Preferably, a lashing lashing device 31 is provided on the floor surface every 3 to 7 meters in the direction of the ship.
- the lashing method is not particularly limited, for example, as shown in FIG. 10, a lashing beam 32 is first placed on the upper ends of the long cargos R, R. The lashing of the long cargo R may be performed by locking the end portion of the lashing beam 32 and the lashing lashing devices 31 and 31 with the lashing wires 33, respectively. Further, for example, as shown in FIG.
- the lashing of the long cargo R may be performed by spanning and tightening the lashing wire 33 from one lashing lashing device 31 to the other lashing lashing device 31. .
- the lashing lashing device 31 is provided in the lashing space 30 every 3 to 7 meters in the ship length direction, so that lashing of long cargo can be performed efficiently.
- the cargo ship 1 As shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 5, the cargo ship 1 according to the present embodiment is provided with a plurality of fuel tanks in the front hull, and is provided with a bow water tank 50 and a stern water tank 52. . Fuel tanks 40P, 41P, 42P are provided on the port side along the cargo hold C from the bow side, and fuel tanks 40S, 41S, 42S are provided on the starboard side along the cargo hold C from the bow side. All these fuel tanks are provided in the front hull. Further, a bow water tank 50 is provided at the bow of the cargo ship 1, and a stern water tank 51 is provided at the stern.
- the cargo ship 1 has a stern trim because the main engine ER is provided on the stern side.
- the main engine ER is provided on the stern side.
- the long cargo lands in the hold C from the bow side and the posture of the long cargo becomes unstable.
- the inner bottom plate 8 of the hold C may be damaged. Therefore, by providing the fuel tanks 40P, 41P, 42P, 40S, 41S, and 42S in the front hull, and providing the bow water tank 50 and the stern water tank 51, trim adjustment can be easily performed at the time of cargo handling work of long cargo.
