(1)請求項1により、先端部を円錐台形状あるいは多角錐台形状に形成し、焼入れ、あるいは塑性鍛造による先端部硬化処理を行なっているので、先端部が硬い節の部分へ打ち込まれても、曲がることなく直進して、打ち込むことができる。
したがって、確実に接続することができる。
(2)前記(1)によって、円錐台形状あるいは多角錐台形状にした先端部を焼入れ、あるいは塑性鍛造による先端部硬化処理をするだけでよいので、従来のように凹腔の全周囲に凹溝壁を形成するものに比べ、比較的に楽に加工することができる。
(3)前記(1)により、先端部だけ焼入れ、あるいは塑性鍛造による先端部硬化処理をするので、日本工業規格に合致する商品を製造することができる。
(4)請求項2も前記(1)~(3)と同様な効果が得られる。

Claims (2)
- 柱体の上端部に頭部が形成された軟質鉄材製の釘本体と、この釘本体の下端部に形成した円錐台形状あるいは多角錐台形状の先端部と、この先端部を焼入れ、あるいは塑性鍛造による先端部硬化処理を行なったことを特徴とする釘。
- 柱体は円柱あるいは多角柱状に形成され、先端部は円錐台形状、砲弾錐台形状、三角錐台形状、四角錐台形状のいずれかに形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の釘。
