Definitions
- the present invention relates to an operation wire having a double twist structure, and more particularly to an operation wire hung around a direction changing member and a wire operation mechanism using the operation wire.
- An operation wire is used to transmit the operation force of the drive unit to the driven unit.
- an operation wire is connected from a motor serving as a drive unit to a carrier plate that supports a window glass serving as a driven unit, and the operation force of the drive unit is transmitted via the operation wire.
- the operation wire has flexibility and can be curvedly routed, and is guided by sliding on a direction changing member such as a guide member for changing the direction of the operation wire.
- the operation wire is usually configured by twisting a plurality of strands.
- the operation wire Noise may be generated from the contact portion between the strand exposed to the outside and the direction changing member.
- the abnormal noise is generated when the twist mark of the operation wire is transferred to the direction changing member in the process of use, and a twist-like unevenness is formed, and the twisted line is slid when the operation wire and the direction changing member slide.
- the operating wire is twisted by sliding force on the operating wire when sliding on the uneven surface, when the twisting of the operating wire is released, an abnormal noise is struck from the sliding surface of the direction changing member.
- An abnormal noise was generated.
- vibration noise is amplified through the guide rail and the door panel, and abnormal noise is generated.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a method of processing a single-stranded deformed wire strand 100 having a strand whose cross section is not circular (see FIG. 6). Since the deformed wire strand 100 has a smooth surface, there is a possibility that generation of twist marks can be suppressed and generation of abnormal noise can be suppressed.
- the deformed wire strand 100 is processed into a deformed wire shape in a state where wires (elementary wires) of each layer are in line contact with each other by parallel twist.
- Patent Document 2 In order to eliminate the abnormal noise, the twisting of the operation wire is suppressed by making it difficult to rotate, and in the sliding groove of the direction change member due to the twisted marks that are twisted unevenness Suppression of noise from hitting the sliding surface of the operation wire is also attempted.
- Patent Document 1 when the processing method of Patent Document 1 is applied to a wire having a double twist structure, there arises a problem that the fatigue resistance of the wire is lowered. This is because a wire having a double twist structure is in point contact with each other, so that when the wire is subjected to the above-described processing, the wire is preferentially deformed at the point contact point, and the deformed point is the starting point when the wire is used. This is because the strands are easily cut.
- the present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and suppresses generation of periodic groove moving noise when the direction changing member and the wire slide and deterioration of fatigue resistance of the wire.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an operation wire that can be operated.
- the wire of the present invention is formed by twisting a core strand in which a plurality of strands are twisted and a plurality of side strands each having a plurality of strands twisted around the core strand.
- An operation wire having a double twisted structure wherein the side strands of the side strands face the outside in the radial direction of the wire at positions located on the outer circumference of the wires, and
- the flat portion provided in a part of the direction has a smooth surface extending along the axial direction, and the length of the smooth surface in the axial direction is 4.8 to 11.0 times the diameter of the side wire
- the pitch magnification of the side strand is 7.0 to 12.0 times.
- the length of the smooth surface in the axial direction is 5.8 to 9.2 times the diameter of the side strand.
- the driving unit includes a driving unit, a driven unit, and a resin direction changing member.
- the driving unit and the driven unit are connected to each other via the wire, and the wire is applied to the direction changing member with a predetermined load.
- the wire is moved in the extending direction of the wire relative to the position of the direction changing member when the driven portion is moved by moving the wire by driving the driving portion.
- the wire operating mechanism is configured as described above.
- the present invention it is possible to suppress the generation of groove moving noise when the direction changing member and the wire slide, and the deterioration of the fatigue resistance of the wire.
- the operating force generated by the operation of the drive unit is driven at a position away from the operation unit via the wire when the drive unit is operated to pull or push the wire. It is the wire for operation transmitted to a part.
- the wire of the present invention is guided by a direction changing member, for example, a fixed guide that guides the wire without rotating, or a pulley that rotates around a rotation axis, and is routed between the driving unit and the driven unit.
- the driving unit and the driven unit are not particularly limited as long as they can operate the wire and can be operated by the wire.
- the wire of the present invention can be used for any application as long as the direction is changed by the direction changing member and is routed between the driving unit and the driven unit and the operating force of the driving unit is transmitted to the driven unit.
- it can be used to operate a window regulator, a parking brake, a fuel lid actuator, a motorcycle accelerator, a motorcycle screen, and the like.
- the wire of this invention is applicable also to uses other than a vehicle.
- FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the structure of a wire 1 according to an embodiment
- FIG. 2 is a side view schematically showing the wire 1.
- the wire 1 of the present invention includes a core strand 2 formed by twisting a plurality of strands 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d, and a plurality of strands 3a around the core strand 2 respectively. It has the double twist structure comprised by twisting together the several side strand 3 by which 3b was twisted together.
- the wire 1 is not particularly limited as long as it has a double twist structure in which the core strand 2 and a plurality of side strands 3 are twisted around it.
- the wire 1 can be appropriately changed according to the application in which the wire is used.
- a double twist structure other than the structure shown in FIG. 1 may be included.
- the wire 1 is shown as a structure (W (19) + 8 ⁇ 7) in which eight side strands 3 are twisted around one core strand 2. .
- the wire 1 is shown as a structure (W (19) + 8 ⁇ 7) in which eight side strands 3 are twisted around one core strand 2.
- the core strand 2b six side strands 2b are twisted around one core strand 2a, and side strands 2c and 2d having different sizes are alternately arranged around the side strand 2b. Shown as a Warrington twist twisted to be placed.
- Each of the side strands 3 has six side strands 3b twisted around one core strand 3a.
- the material of the strands constituting each of the core strand 2 and the side strand 3 for example, a steel wire such as a galvanized steel wire or a stainless steel wire is used. Moreover, the diameter and the number of strands constituting each of the core strand 2 and the side strand 3 can be appropriately changed according to the use of the wire and the structure of the wire.
- the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 of the wire 1 of the present invention has a smooth surface P at a portion located on the outer periphery of the wire 1 as shown in FIGS. More specifically, the smooth surface P is provided on the outermost strand of the wire 1 of the side strands 3b of the side strand 3 so as to face the radially outer side of the wire 1 and extends along the axis X. Is provided. Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the smooth surface P faces the outer side in the radial direction of the wire 1, and the flat portion F provided in a part of the circumferential direction of the side strand 3b is in the axis X direction. It is formed to extend along.
- the flat part F is a flat part formed along the circumferential direction of the side strand 3 b of the side strand 3 b of the side strand 3.
- the flat portion F is a substantially arc-shaped portion having a radius of curvature substantially the same as the radius of the virtual circle C having a radius connecting a contact point of the flat portion F and the center of the wire 1.
- the flat portion F may be a flat surface or a curved surface. That is, as will be described in detail later, the smooth surface P formed by extending the flat portion F may be formed flat so as to be in surface contact with the direction changing member. It may have a different radius of curvature.
- the flat portion F is a part of the circumferential direction of the side strand 3b, that is, on the outer circumference of the cross section of the side strand 3b cut perpendicularly to the direction in which the side strand 3b extends. It is provided facing the outside in the radial direction.
- the flat part F does not necessarily have to be positioned on the virtual circle C as long as the flat part F can make surface contact with the direction changing member when the wire 1 contacts the direction changing member.
- the smooth surface P has a flat portion F formed in this manner, extending in parallel with the axis X, which is the direction in which the wire 1 extends, in the sliding groove of the direction changing member. On the other hand, it is formed so that surface contact is possible.
- the side strand 3 b of the side strand 3 is spirally twisted around the core strand 3 a of the side strand 3, and each side strand 3 b
- the smooth surface P is formed on the part located on the outer periphery.
- the cross section of the side strand 3b is circular. It has become. Therefore, the portion located on the outer periphery of the wire 1 that may come into contact with the direction changing member is, as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of side strands 3 b exposed on the outer periphery of the wire 1.
- a plurality of smooth surfaces P are formed in the circumferential direction and in the axis X direction.
- the manufacturing method will not be specifically limited, For example, after the core strand 2 and the side strand 3 are twisted together, It can be formed by performing drawing with a die, swaging, cassette roller die, or the like.
- the smooth surface P formed in this way makes surface contact with the direction changing member when the wire 1 comes into contact with a direction changing member (not shown) (the surface of the guide groove of the direction changing member through which the wire 1 is guided). Therefore, according to the wire 1 of the present invention, since the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 has the smooth surface P, the load per unit area in the contact between the wire 1 and the direction changing member can be suppressed. In the conventional wire, since the strand of the side strand has an angle with respect to the axial direction of the wire 1, a twist mark which is a groove having an angle with respect to the moving direction of the wire 1 is generated.
- the smooth surface P is shown as having substantially the same radius of curvature as the virtual circle C.
- the smooth surface of the present invention is formed so as to be in surface contact with the direction changing member if it is in contact with the direction changing member so that the load per unit area from the wire 1 to the direction changing member is reduced.
- the smooth surface P may have a different radius of curvature from the outer periphery of the wire 1 or may be formed in a planar shape.
- the virtual circle C is a circle in contact with the horizontal plane.
- the length L1 of the smooth surface P in the axis X direction is 4.8 to 11.0 times the diameter D1 of the side strand 3b of the side strand 3, and the pitch magnification of the side strand 3 is 7.0 to 12. It is configured to be 0 times.
- the length L1 of the smooth surface P in the axis X direction in which the wire 1 extends is the length between both ends of the smooth surface P in the axis X direction of the wire 1, as shown in FIG.
- the diameter D1 of the strand 3b is an outer diameter of the side strand 3b which has the smooth surface P, as FIG.1 and FIG.2 shows.
- the pitch magnification of the side strand 3 is a value obtained by dividing the twist pitch length L2 of the side strand 3 by the outer diameter D2 of the wire 1, as shown in FIG.
- the diameter of C is the outer diameter D2 of the wire 2.
- the length L1 of the smooth surface P is smaller than 4.8 times the diameter D1 of the side strand 3b, the exposed length of the portion located on the outer periphery of the wire 1 of the side strand 3b is shortened.
- the effect of the smooth surface P described above cannot be obtained because the length in the direction of the axis X is shortened and the area of the smooth surface P in surface contact with the direction changing member is small, and conversely, it is larger than 11.0 times. Since the thickness of the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 is reduced, the wire 1 is broken when a load is applied to a thin portion in the radial direction even if the cross-sectional area is the same. Reduces fatigue resistance.
- a gap between the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 and the side strand 2c or the side strand 2d arranged in the outermost layer of the core strand 2 is likely to occur.
- the strand density per unit cross-sectional area of the wire 1 becomes low, making it difficult to manufacture, and there is a concern that the durability of the wire 1 may be reduced.
- the cross section of the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 is circular. .
- the portion of the side wire 3 b that is not exposed on the outer periphery of the wire 1 is located on the radially inner side of the wire 1 from the outer periphery of the wire 1.
- one side strand 3b extends spirally around the core strand 3a and is located on the outer periphery of the wire 1 (exposed to the outer periphery).
- the smooth surface P is formed, and in the part that is not exposed to the outer periphery of the wire 1, the side strand 3b enters the inside in the radial direction of the wire 1, and the cross section is circular, and the smooth surface P is formed.
- the formed portions and the portions having a circular cross section are formed alternately in the axial direction in which the side strands 3b extend. Since the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 has a circular cross section except for the portion located on the outer periphery of the wire 1 on which the smooth surface P is formed, it has a uniform strength in the length direction of the strand. Therefore, in the wire 1 of the present invention, even if the wire 1 is changed in direction by a direction changing member (not shown) and bent, a place where the side strand 3b is cut is less likely to be generated. The decrease can be suppressed.
- the wire 1 of the present invention by providing the smooth surface P having a predetermined length in the portion of the side strand 3b of the side strand 3 located on the outer periphery of the wire 1, It is possible to suppress the contact surface pressure with the direction changing member, to suppress the formation of twist marks, and to suppress the generation of groove moving sound when the direction changing member and the wire 1 slide.
- the deterioration of fatigue resistance can be suppressed by setting the smooth surface P to a predetermined length or less and twisting the side strands 3 at a predetermined pitch magnification.
- the wire 1 of the present invention can be used for applications that are bent while being slid by a direction change member softer than the wire 1, for example, a resin fixed guide.
- the drive unit, the driven portion, and the resin direction change member The drive unit and the driven unit are connected via the above-described wire, the wire is wound around the direction changing member with a predetermined load, and the drive unit is driven to move the wire to move the driven unit.
- the wire can be used in a wire operation mechanism in which the wire is moved in the extending direction of the wire with respect to the position of the direction changing member.
- the wire of the present invention is suitably applied to, for example, a window regulator.
- the wire of the example and the comparative example is driven by the window regulator 10 shown in FIG. 4, and immediately after the wire is attached to the fixed guide G of the window regulator 10 (initial stage) and after the creep test, the operation sound is measured, and the wire The sliding property of the wire was evaluated based on the loudness of the operating sound when sliding the wire.
- Two wires were attached between the motor 10a of the window regulator 10 and the carrier plate 10b, and the directions were changed by being guided by fixed guides G provided above and below the guide rail 10c of the window regulator 10.
- the fixed guide G is made of a resin that does not rotate and has a curved surface that is curved along the guide direction of the wire.
- the carrier plate 10b was restrained from moving up and down along the guide rail 10c, and left at an ambient temperature of 80 ° C. for 120 hours. After leaving for 120 hours, the motor was driven and listened with ears at a position 1 m away, and the groove moving sound, which is a periodic friction sound, was confirmed.
- the air cylinder 23 initially moved in the direction of arrow M, pulled the wire in the M direction until the weight 21 hit the stopper 24 and the wire tension reached 35 kgf, and held the tension for 0.5 seconds. After that, it was configured to move in the direction of arrow N.
- the stroke of the wire was 100 mm, the speed was 20 reciprocations / minute, and olefin-based grease was sufficiently applied to the sliding portions between the wire and the fixed guides 22a and 22b.
- Example 1 A base material having an outer diameter of 0.93 mm obtained by galvanizing a steel wire (material: JIS G3506 SWRH62A) is drawn to a diameter of 0.13 mm, 0.14 mm, 0.15 mm, 0.16 mm,. A 17 mm strand was obtained. These strands were twisted so as to have a pitch magnification of 11.28 times to produce a wire 1 with a diameter of 1.490 mm having the structure (W (19) + 8 ⁇ 7) shown in FIG. In addition, for the core strand 2a of the core strand 2 in FIG.
- a strand having a diameter of 0.17 mm is used, for the side strand 2b, a strand having a diameter of 0.16 mm is used, and for the side strand 2c, A strand having a diameter of 0.17 mm is used, a strand having a diameter of 0.13 mm is used for the side strand 2d, and a strand having a diameter of 0.15 mm is used for the core strand 3a of the side strand 3.
- a wire having a diameter of 0.14 mm was used for the wire 3b. Then, this wire is drawn with a die (diameter reduction ratio: 7.5%), and the length in the axial direction of the smooth surface of the side strand is 7.22 times the diameter of the side strand. 1 wire was obtained.
- Example 2 Except for the value of the multiple of the length of the smooth surface with respect to the pitch magnification of the side strand and the diameter of the side strand shown in Table 1, the pitch magnification of the side strand and the side strand shown in Table 1 are the same as in Example 1.
- the wires of Examples 2 to 5 having multiples of the length of the smooth surface with respect to the diameter were obtained.
- the diameter reduction rate at the time of drawing with a die was 9.3% (Example 2), 9.8% (Example 3), 6.8% (Example 4), and 7.5% (implemented), respectively.
- Example 5 Example 5).
- Comparative Examples 1 to 4 Except for the value of the multiple of the length of the smooth surface with respect to the pitch magnification of the side strand and the diameter of the side strand shown in Table 1, the pitch magnification of the side strand and the side strand shown in Table 1 are the same as in Example 1. Wires of Comparative Examples 1 to 4 having a multiple of the length of the smooth surface with respect to the diameter were obtained. In addition, the diameter reduction rate at the time of drawing with a die was set to 4.8% (Comparative Example 1), 4.3% (Comparative Example 2), and 4.1% (Comparative Example 3), respectively.
- Table 1 shows the results of sliding property tests and fatigue resistance tests on Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 described above.
- ⁇ indicates that there is no side strand cut after 20,000 times, and ⁇ indicates that the side strands cut after 20,000 times are less than 10% of the total number, The side strands cut by 20,000 times were 10% or more with respect to the total number.
- Examples 1 to 5 since the smooth surface length is in the range of 4.8 to 11.0 times the diameter of the side strands, the suppression of the groove moving noise is all good. In particular, Examples 1 and 2 to 5 were within the range of 5.8 to 9.2 times the diameter of the side strands, so that the suppression of the groove moving noise was excellent.
- Example 5 although the pitch magnification of the side strand is in the range of 7.0 to 12.0 times, the length of the smooth surface exceeds 9.2 times the strand diameter of the side strand. Since it is within 12.0 times, the fatigue resistance is good, but it is lower than those of Examples 1 to 4.
- Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2 the length of the smooth surface is the diameter of the strands of the side strands even when the pitch magnification of the side strands is in the range of 7.0 to 12.0 times.
- the magnification of the length of the smooth surface with respect to the diameter of the side strand of the side strand is set to 4.8 to 11.0 times, and the pitch magnification of the side strand is set to 7.0 to 12.0 times.
- the pitch magnification of the side strand is set to 7.0 to 12.0 times.
