Abstract
Description
本発明の伸縮性部材は、通気部分を有するエラストマー層を含む。本発明の伸縮性部材は、通気部分を有するエラストマー層のみからなっていても良いし、他の任意の適切な層を有していても良い。このような他の任意の適切な層は、1層のみでも良いし、2層以上でも良い。なお、本発明の伸縮性部材は、複数層を有する場合は、伸縮性積層体と称しても良い。
エラストマー層は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、任意の適切なエラストマー樹脂を主成分として含む。エラストマー樹脂は、1種のみであっても良いし、2種以上であっても良い。
不織布層としては、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲で、任意の適切な不織布層を採用し得る。不織布層を構成する不織布は、1種のみであっても良いし、2種以上であっても良い。
本発明の伸縮性部材を製造するにあたっては、エラストマー層と不織布層とが直接積層されている場合(例えば、図1、2の場合)には、エラストマー層と不織布層とを貼り合わせることが必要となる。このような貼り合わせの方法としては、例えば、(1)各種塗工方法等によって形成させたエラストマー層と、別途ロール体から引き出した不織布層とをラミネートする方法、(2)エラストマー層と不織布層とを同時押出ラミネートする方法、(3)それぞれ別途に準備したエラストマー層と不織布層とを接着剤によって接着する方法、(4)各種塗工方法等によって形成させたエラストマー層上にメルトブロウン法などで不織布層を形成する方法、(5)エラストマー層と不織布層との熱ラミネート、超音波溶接、などが挙げられる。
本発明の伸縮性部材は、本発明の効果を有効に利用できる任意の適切な物品に用いることができる。すなわち、本発明の物品は、本発明の伸縮性部材を含む。このような物品としては、代表的には、例えば、衛生用品などが挙げられる。このような衛生用品としては、例えば、おむつ(特に、使い捨ておむつのイヤー部分やウエスト部分、股ギャザー部分等)、サポーター、マスク、温熱カイロの包材、冷却材の包材あるいは医療用の手術着などの医療分野において体に触れて使用される可能性のある各種医療用材料、伸縮性を必要とするスポーツ関連医療用途などが挙げられる。
樹脂の密度(g/cm3)は、JIS K7112に準拠して測定された値とした。
MFR(g/10min)は、JIS K7210に準拠して測定された値とした。
伸縮性部材を伸長方向が長辺となるよう幅30mm、長さ100mmに切断した。
得られた伸縮性部材をゴム板でチャック間距離50mmになるよう引張試験機(島津製作所製;AG-IS 50kN)にセットし、引張速度300mm/min、移動距離50mm(100%伸長)にて予備延伸工程を実施した(50mm移動後、直ぐにチェック間を50mm戻した。このとき、伸縮性部材には永久ひずみ量分のたるみが生じている状態となっている)。
次いで、同一測定条件にてチャック間を少しずつ広げ、ロードセルで応力を感知できる(0.1N/30mmに到達する点)点までチャックを移動させ永久ひずみ量分のたるみを調整した。
0.1N/30mmの地点をゼロ点とし、再度50mm移動距離で伸長試験を行い、100%伸長時強度を測定した。
実施例・比較例で得られた伸縮性部材を用いておむつのウェストギャザーを作製し、実際のおむつに加工し、被験者としての赤ちゃん10名に装着させて、かぶれ性の評価を行った。
○:10名全員においてかぶれが確認されず。
×:10名中1人以上でかぶれが確認。
スチレン系樹脂(日本ゼオン製、商品名:クインタック3390、スチレン含有量=48重量%、MFR=15.0g/10min)100重量部に、パラフィン系プロセスオイル(出光興産製、商品名:PW-90)50重量部を混合し、粘度を38500cps(200℃)に調整した。この混合物を、スプレー式塗工装置(カーテンスプレー式ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してシリコーン系セパレータ上に200℃にて繊維状に塗布(塗布量:100g/cm2、繊維径:10μm~30μm)し、シリコーン系セパレータ上に繊維集合体状エラストマー層を形成させた。得られた繊維集合体状エラストマー層は通気部分を有し、通気部分の最も大きい部分の長さが1mm~3mmであった。
得られた繊維集合体状エラストマー層からシリコーン系セパレータを除去し、該繊維集合体状エラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したSIS系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(1)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(1)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(エクソンモービル社製、商品名:ビスタマックス6202、密度=0.861g/cm3、MFR=18.0g/10min)100重量部を、間欠式塗工装置(間欠塗工式ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してシリコーン系セパレータ上に、まずCD方向に200℃にて間欠塗布(塗布厚:80μm、塗布幅:2mm、塗布間隔:10mm)し、続いて、オレフィン系樹脂(エクソンモービル社製、商品名:ビスタマックス6202、密度=0.861g/cm3、MFR=18.0g/10min)100重量部を、筋状式塗工装置(筋状塗工式ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してMD方向に200℃にて塗布(塗布厚:80μm、塗布幅:2mm、塗布間隔10mm)し、シリコーン系セパレータ上に網目状エラストマー層を形成させた。得られた網目状エラストマー層は網目状の通気部分を有し、通気部分は10mm角の大きさであった。
得られた網目状エラストマー層からシリコーン系セパレータを除去し、該網目状エラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したSIS系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(2)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(2)についての評価結果を表1に示した。

得られた積層シートを、CD方向およびMD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(3)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(3)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(三井化学株式会社製、商品名:タフマーPN-3560、密度=0.866g/cm3、MFR=6.0g/10min)を、間欠式塗工装置(間欠塗工式ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してPP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)上に、CD方向に200℃にて間欠塗布(塗布厚:100μm、塗布幅:5mm、塗布間隔:3mm)し、PP系不織布上にストライプ状エラストマー層を形成させた。得られたストライプ状エラストマー層は、隣り合うストライプ同士の間に通気部分(間隔3mm)を有していた。
得られた片側不織布のストライプ状エラストマー層の面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したスチレン系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(4)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(4)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(三井化学株式会社製、商品名:タフマーPN-3560、密度=0.866g/cm3、MFR=6.0g/10min)を、筋状式塗工装置(筋状塗工式ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してPP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)上に、MD方向に200℃にて塗布(塗布厚:100μm、塗布幅:5mm、塗布間隔:3mm)し、同時に、もう一方側へPP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)を貼り合わせた。得られたストライプ状エラストマー層は、隣り合うストライプ同士の間に通気部分(間隔3mm)を有していた。
得られた積層シートを、MD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(5)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(5)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(三井化学株式会社製、商品名:タフマーPN-3560、密度=0.866g/cm3、MFR=6.0g/10min)を、図柄をパターン塗工可能な塗工装置(ホットメルト塗工装置)を使用してシリコーン系セパレータ上に、200℃にてハニカム状に塗布(塗布厚:100μm)し、シリコーン系セパレータ上に図柄の連続パターンからなるエラストマー層を形成させた。得られた図柄の連続パターンからなるエラストマー層は通気部分を有し、通気部分の最も大きい部分の長さが10mm~12mmであった。
得られた図柄の連続パターンからなるエラストマー層からシリコーン系セパレータを除去し、該図柄の連続パターンからなるエラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)を熱ロール(100℃)によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(6)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(6)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
スチレン系樹脂(日本ゼオン製、商品名:クインタック3390、スチレン含有量=48重量%、MFR=15.0g/10min)をTダイ付押出し機に投入して押出し、厚みが40μmのエラストマー層を作製した。
得られたエラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したスチレン系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(C1)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(C1)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(エクソンモービル社製、商品名:ビスタマックス6202、密度=0.861g/cm3、MFR=18.0g/10min)をTダイ付押出し機に投入して押出し、厚みが30μmのエラストマー層を作製した。
得られたエラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したスチレン系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(C2)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(C2)についての評価結果を表1に示した。
オレフィン系樹脂(三井化学株式会社製、商品名:タフマーPN-3560、密度=0.866g/cm3、MFR=6.0g/10min)をTダイ付押出し機に投入して押出し、厚みが60μmのエラストマー層を作製した。
得られたエラストマー層の両面に、PP系不織布(PPカーデッドタイプ、坪量24gsm)をストライプ状に塗布したオレフィン系ホットメルト粘着剤によって貼り合わせ、積層シートを作製した。
得られた積層シートを、CD方向に部分延伸(活性化処理)し、伸縮性部材である伸縮性積層体(C3)を得た。
得られた伸縮性積層体(C3)についての評価結果を表1に示した。

Claims (7)
- 通気部分を有するエラストマー層を含む、伸縮性部材。
- 前記エラストマー層の少なくとも一方の側に不織布層を有する、請求項1に記載の伸縮性部材。
- 前記通気部分が、穿孔加工によって形成された孔ではない、請求項1または2に記載の伸縮性部材。
- 前記エラストマー層が、繊維集合体状エラストマー層、網目状エラストマー層、ストライプ状エラストマー層、文字または図柄の連続パターンからなるエラストマー層から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、請求項1から3までのいずれかに記載の伸縮性部材。
- 前記エラストマー層が、繊維状塗工、間欠式塗工、パターン式塗工、筋状塗工から選ばれる少なくとも1種の塗工によって形成されたものである、請求項1から4までのいずれかに記載の伸縮性部材。
- 前記エラストマー層が、オレフィン系エラストマーおよびスチレン系エラストマーから選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1から5までのいずれかに記載の伸縮性部材。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれかに記載の伸縮性部材を含む物品。
