Definitions
- the present invention relates to a multi-passenger bicycle, and in particular, an ordinary single-passenger bicycle can be continuously connected in a plurality of rows so that the multi-passenger bicycle or a normal single-passenger bicycle separated into individual pieces can be selected and used. It relates to bicycles that can be connected to each other.
- Bicycles as environmentally friendly riding means that can run with the power of passengers without fuel are known as single-seater and multi-seater.
- An example of a known multi-seater bicycle is known that a plurality of ridges and pedals are provided at a predetermined position of a long frame so that a plurality of passengers can board at the same time.
- a bicycle in which two people can ride at the same time by connecting a half frame that provides only the rear wheel to the rear of a single-person bicycle.
- a multi-passenger bicycle in which two single-passenger bicycles are connected in a vertical direction or a horizontal direction via an attachment is also known.
- Patent Document 3 shows a configuration in which a single-seater bicycle can be connected back and forth to be converted into a multi-seater bicycle.
- This type of bicycle has a front fork, head tube, rear fork, top tube, seat tube, down tube, etc. provided at predetermined locations on the frame.
- a multi-seater bicycle arrange many bicycles back and forth, remove the front wheels from the front forks of all the rear bicycles, and place each of the front forks just on the rear forks of the front bicycle. By connecting, a large number of bicycles can be successively connected in a row.
- the front fork of the bicycle is extended obliquely forward, so that the multi-passenger bicycle cannot normally run. That is, the front fork of the rear bicycle always moves together with the rear fork of the front bicycle while driving, but the rear fork of the front bicycle does not change much while steering. Thus, when the inclination direction of the front fork of the rear bicycle is changed, the frame connected to the front fork is subjected to a twist acting in the direction opposite to the steering, and thus cannot normally run.
- Patent Document 4 As described in Patent Document 4 proposed by the present inventor, the above-described problem is arranged by dividing the bicycle frame into two parts, a front part connected to the handle and a rear part connected to the rear fork, Clutch means are interposed between these front and rear parts, and a synchronizer is provided between the front fork and the front part of the frame, and the front part and the rear part of the frame are integrally connected, Alternatively, it has been solved by proposing and disengaging an intermittent action that allows the relative rotation to be freely separated, and that the relative rotation is automatically controlled by a synchronizer according to the steering angle of the bicycle. It is very complicated and difficult to manufacture.
- a synchronizer is interposed between the front fork of the bicycle and the front part of the frame so that the frame of the rear bicycle is not toppled by twisting when used in a multi-person bicycle.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a mutually connectable bicycle having a structure in which the clutch means is provided extremely simply.
- a bicycle connectable to each other is provided between a top tube and a head tube of a frame so as to be divided into two parts through an immovable tube.
- both opposing ends are supported so as to be relatively rotatable, and the outer periphery of the bearing is supported within the bearing.
- a pinhole is drilled at a position that matches each other when the bicycle front fork is placed in a straight line, and a fixing pin is inserted into and removed from the two matched pinholes. It is characterized in that clutch means for intermittently connecting between the top tube and the head tube is provided.
- a reinforcing shaft is provided in any one of the top tube and the stationary tube so that both opposite end portions are sufficiently supported by the bearing portion.
- a stopper is disposed at a slight distance from the end of either the top tube or the stationary tube, and the end of either the top tube or the stationary tube and the stopper In between, there may be further included a configuration in which a stop ring fixed by a set screw is interposed from the outer periphery of the bearing portion so that the bearing portion and both ends supported by the bearing portion cannot be separated from each other. I can do it.
- a nut is attached to the inside of the front fork, and the fixing pin is screwed into the nut to form a synchronizer together with a guide ring attached to the lower surface of the bearing portion.
- a configuration that controls the relative rotation of the top tube in synchronization with the turning of the head tube can be further included.
- the fixing pin is integrally provided with a handle that is bent at approximately 90 degrees and has a fixing protrusion formed at the outer peripheral end thereof, and a clamp is provided inside the front fork, and the handle of the fixing pin is attached to the clamp.
- a synchronizer is formed together with a guide ring attached to the lower surface of the bearing portion, and the relative rotation of the top tube is controlled in synchronization with the turning of the head tube. Can be included.
- the fixing pin is inserted into and removed from the pin hole of the top tube and the stationary tube which are mounted so as to be relatively rotatable. Since the clutch means for intermittently engaging or disengaging the clutch can be manufactured in the clutch state where the relative rotation is not possible or the clutch is disengaged relative to the other, the advantage of providing a bicycle which can be connected to each other at low cost is obtained.
- the fixing pin can be a synchronizer by passing the free end of the fixing pin through the guide ring on the outer peripheral lower surface of the bearing portion and screwing the screw portion of the other end into the front fork. Is easy to handle.
- FIG. 1 It is a fragmentary perspective view which shows one Example of the bicycle which concerns on this invention. It is a sectional side view of FIG. It is a fragmentary perspective view which shows the other Example of the bicycle based on this invention corresponding to FIG. It is a fragmentary perspective view which shows the example which applied this invention to the bicycle for women corresponding to FIG.
- FIG. 1 shows an assembled state of a top tube 2, a front fork 4 and a head tube 6 of a frame as main parts of a bicycle connectable to each other according to the present invention.
- the bearing portion 20 is formed at the tip of the top tube 2 to have a diameter larger than the stationary tube 60 of the head tube 6 facing the bearing, and the end of the stationary tube 60 is supported.
- Pinholes 22 and 62 are respectively opened on the outer periphery of the tube 60.
- the pinholes 22 and 62 are formed at positions that coincide with each other when the front fork 4 of the bicycle is placed in a straight line.
- the bearing 20 can be formed integrally with the end of the stationary tube 60 of the head tube 6 and the end of the opposing top tube can be supported by the bearing 20.
- the fixing pin 8 is detachably inserted into the pinholes 22 and 62 where the front fork 4 is placed in a straight line so as to match each other.
- the top tube 2 and the head tube 6 are intermittently engaged in a clutch state in which relative rotation is impossible or in an unclutch state in which relative rotation is possible. Converted to a passenger bicycle.
- a handle 80 is attached to the upper end for ease of use, and a screw portion 82 can be formed at the lower end on the opposite side.
- the fixing pin 8 is used as an assembly part of the synchronizer 40 by the screw portion 82 at the lower end.
- the synchronizer 40 in this embodiment is extracted from the nut 42 attached to the inner periphery of the front fork 4, the guide ring 24 attached to the lower outer periphery of the bearing portion 20, and the pin holes 22 and 62.
- the top pin is inserted into the guide ring 24 and the terminal screw portion 82 is screwed into the nut 42 so that the top tube is formed.
- 2 and the front fork 4 are provided with a synchronizer 40 that is interlocked with each other by connecting the fixed pin 8 and the guide ring 24, and the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 can be rotated relative to each other. It can be used with a multi-passenger bicycle after being converted.
- the bicycle converted in this way is a rear bicycle by a synchronizing action in which the guide ring 24 is interlocked while the fixing pin 8 is rotated at the same angle simultaneously with the steering of the steering wheel in the curved traveling when used for multi-seater. Since the turning angle in conjunction with the top tube 2 is controlled, the rotational angle difference generated between the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 is normally eliminated and the vehicle runs normally in a curved line.
- a synchronizer 40 is disposed between the top tube 2 and the front fork 4.
- the bicycles according to the present invention can be connected to each other. If it is good, it will be possible to overcome the difficulty of operation without the synchronizer 40.
- FIG. 2 shows a desirable connection structure according to this. .
- a reinforcing shaft 64 is integrally fixed at the inner center of the immovable tube 60, and a pinhole continuous to the pinhole 62 is also passed through the reinforcing shaft 64 so as to integrally penetrate the bearing portion 20.
- the stationary tube 60 and the reinforcing shaft 64 are connected by the fixing pin 8.
- a stopper 66 is fixed on the outer periphery of the reinforcing shaft 64 at a slight interval with respect to the end of the stationary tube 60, while a stop ring 68 is provided between the end of the stationary tube 60 and the stopper 66.
- the shaft is inserted and fixed by a set screw 26 inserted from the outer periphery of the bearing portion 20 so that the stationary tube 60 is supported so as not to come out of the bearing portion 20.
- the stopper ring 68 is inserted into the reinforcing shaft 64 so as to be in contact with the end of the stationary tube 60 before the stopper 66, and then the stopper 66 is sequentially inserted into the reinforcing shaft 64, and then the stopper 66 is welded.
- the bearing portion 20 is supported by being fixed integrally with the reinforcing shaft 64, and the set ring 26 is screwed from the outer periphery to fix the retaining ring 68.
- the stationary tube 60 and the reinforcing shaft 64 are rotatably supported in the bearing portion 20 by the above-described assembly, while the retaining ring 68 is supported so as not to come out of the stopper 66 of the reinforcing shaft 64. 2 and the head tube 6 can rotate relative to each other.
- an unexplained reference numeral 84 is a ball flanger for fixing the fixing pin 8 penetrating the bearing portion 20 so as not to be pulled out unexpectedly during traveling.
- the mutually connectable bicycle according to the present invention is provided as a normal one-seater bicycle at the time of sale.
- the fixing pin 8 shown in FIG. 1 is provided in a one-seater bicycle in which the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 are integrally connected through the two pin holes 22 and 62. It is.
- the bicycles that can be connected to each other in the present invention are used in a single-seater bicycle as usual, but when trying to continuously connect to a multi-passenger bicycle, all but the front bicycle are all behind.
- the front wheel (not shown) of the bicycle is removed, and each front fork 4 is supported on the axle of the rear fork of the front bicycle and connected together.
- the fixing pins 8 are pulled out from the bearing portions 20 of all the rear bicycles except the front bicycle, and as shown by the one-dot chain line in FIG.
- the screw portion 82 is inserted into the guide ring 24 and screwed into the nut 42 of the front fork 4, the synchronizer 40 is provided.
- a difference in inclination occurs between the rear fork of the bicycle just before and the front fork 4 of the bicycle just behind the axle of the rear fork.
- the difference in the inclination angle is eliminated by the relative rotation of the stationary tube 60 and the top tube 2, and at the same time, the synchronizer 4 operates synchronously to appropriately adjust the relative rotation of the top tube 2 with respect to the stationary tube 60. With this control, all the following bicycles can run normally without being overturned during a curve run.
- the means for intermittently connecting between the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 to be rotatable and unmovable is matched when the front fork 4 of the bicycle is placed in a straight line.
- the two pinholes 22 and 62 and the fixed pin 8 inserted through the matched pinholes 22 and 62 are very simple.
- the synchronizer 40 has a structure in which the screw portion 82 of the fixing pin 8 is screwed into the nut 42 of the front fork 4. This is because the external force is applied to the screw portion 82 during the synchronization operation. May become a fragile part.
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of the bicycle according to the present invention corresponding to FIG. 1.
- the fixing pin 8 has a handle 80 bent at about 90 degrees.
- the outer periphery of the handle 80 has a feature that a fixing projection 820 is formed in the axial direction.
- a clamp 44 is fixed inside the front fork 4 in place of the nut 42 of the above-described embodiment.
- the clamp 44 tightens or loosens the handle 80 of the fixing pin 8 inserted therein into a cam action.
- a clamp lever 46 is provided.
- the fixing protrusion 820 is tightened by the clamp lever 46 while being matched with the inner space of the clamp 44. From 44, it can be tightened firmly without rolling.
- the clutch function of integrally connecting the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 by inserting the fixing pin 8 into the two pin holes 22 and 62 is also provided.
- the fixed pin 8 extracted from the pinholes 22 and 62 is inserted into the clamp 44, the end bent at 90 degrees is connected to the guide ring 24 so as to be inserted into the synchronizer 40. Is the same as the previous embodiment.
- the down tube of the frame is omitted in the same manner as in the bicycle of Korean Patent Registration No. 869602 proposed by the present inventor or on the intermediate side of the top tube 2.
- the top tube 2 and the stationary tube 60 can rotate relative to each other.
- the bicycle connectable to each other according to the present invention is a type that is easy to ride, and the top tube 2 is omitted as shown in FIG. 4 and the lower down tube is directly connected to the head tube 6. It can also be applied to women's bicycles.
- the structure of the frame does not match the installation of the synchronizer 40.
- the frame is designed so that the center of gravity of the frame is placed at the bottom, and the stationary tube 60 and bearing If the relative rotation with respect to the portion 20 is also made within a predetermined angle, the rear bicycle always travels in a stable state by the action of the center of gravity on the lower side, and the stationary tube 60 moves relative to the bearing portion 20 even during curved traveling.
- the traveling trouble occurring between the front and rear bicycles is eliminated while rotating at a predetermined angle, so that any of the rear bicycles can travel without being overturned.
- the bicycles that can be connected to each other of the present invention can be converted into ordinary single-seat bicycles or multi-passenger bicycles that are connected in a row and run together, and thus are particularly suitable for leisure bicycles.
