Abstract
Description
以下、サーマルヘッドX1について図1~4を参照して説明する。サーマルヘッドX1は、放熱体1と、放熱体1上に配置されたヘッド基体3と、ヘッド基体3に接続されたフレキシブルプリント配線板5(以下、FPC5という)とを備えている。なお、図1では、FPC5の図示を省略し、FPC5が配置される領域を一点鎖線で示している。また、保護層25および被覆層27の図示を省略し、一点鎖線で示している。
図6を用いてサーマルヘッドX2について説明する。サーマルヘッドX2は、被覆部材129が、サーマルヘッドX1の被覆部材29と異なっている。なお、同一の部材については同一の符号を付しており、以下同様とする。
図7,8を用いてサーマルヘッドX3について説明する。
図9を用いてサーマルヘッドX4について説明する。サーマルヘッドX4は、被覆部材229の第1縁4,8に隣り合うようにFPC5が設けられており、FPC5上から第2縁4,8上にわたって樹脂層12が設けられている。その他の点は、サーマルヘッドX3と同様である。

- 前記駆動ICの重心から前記頂部までの距離を第1距離とするとき、
