充電装置
 本発明は、バッテリ式の作業車両に搭載されたバッテリを充電するための充電装置に関する。
 例えば、走行用に用いる電動機を搭載し、この電動機にバッテリから電力の供給をして走行させる作業車両がある。このような作業車両は、バッテリに蓄えられている電力が消費されると、充電装置によって充電する必要がある。例えば、特許文献1には、作業車両に搭載された二次電池に充電するバッテリ充電器を、作業車両とは別個に設けた二次電池充電システムが記載されている。

 ところで、作業車両に搭載されたバッテリを充電するための充電装置を作業車両とは別個に用意すると、水等の液体又は塵等が充電装置の内部に入り込む可能性がある。また、バッテリを急速充電する場合には、バッテリに与える電流が大きくなる結果、充電装置の発熱量が大きくなるため、これを冷却する必要もある。
 本発明は、バッテリ式の作業車両の外部に設置されて、この作業車両に搭載されたバッテリを充電する充電装置の防塵及び防水性能と冷却性能とを確保することを目的とする。

 前記放熱部材が有する前記複数のフィンの端部は前記底部と対向し、前記一部の電気部品が取り付けられる位置は前記フィンの端部よりも前記上部側であることが好ましい。
 前記他の電気部品は、前記底部との間に所定の間隔が設けられて電気部品収納室の内部に配置されることが好ましい。
 前記筐体は、電気部品収納室を前記上部側と前記下部側とに区画する筐体内仕切部材を有し、前記第2吸気口及び前記第2排気口は、前記筐体内仕切部材を挟んで電気部品収納室の前記上部側と前記下部側との両方に開口することが好ましい。
 前記第2ファンは、前記電気部品収納室の前記上部側と前記下部側との両方に気体を導入することが好ましい。
 前記第1ファンは前記第1排気口に設けられて前記放熱部材収納室から気体を吸引し、前記第2ファンは前記第2排気口に設けられて前記電気部品収納室から気体を吸引することが好ましい。
 本発明は、バッテリ式の作業車両の外部に設置されて、この作業車両に搭載されたバッテリを充電する充電装置の防塵及び防水性能と冷却性能とを確保することができる。

 本発明を実施するための形態(実施形態)につき、図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
 図1は、本実施形態に係る作業車両用充電システムを示す図である。本実施形態においては、作業車両として、バッテリ式フォークリフト1を例として説明するが、作業車両はこれに限定されない。例えば、作業車両は、バッテリからの電力又はエンジン等によって駆動される発電機から得られた電力で駆動されるホイールローダ又は油圧ショベル等であってもよい。
 作業車両用充電システム100は、バッテリ式フォークリフト1と、充電装置2とを含む。バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、作業車両用バッテリとしてのバッテリ30及びこのバッテリ30から供給される電力によって駆動される少なくとも1個の電動機を備える、バッテリ式の作業車両である。少なくとも1個の電動機は、例えば、バッテリ式フォークリフト1を走行させるための電動機である。充電装置2は、建屋HT内又は建屋HTの軒下等に設置される定置式の装置である。充電装置2は、建屋HT内の配電盤3から3相交流が供給される。充電装置2は、バッテリ式フォークリフト1のバッテリ30を急速充電することができる。配電盤3は、例えば柱上トランス4から交流電力が供給される。柱上トランス4は、電力線5を介して変電所から交流電力が供給される。バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、例えば、休憩時間等に充電用コネクタ23に充電装置2の充電装置側コネクタ24が接続されて、バッテリ30が充電される。休憩時間を利用する場合、バッテリ30は急速充電される。
 図2は、本実施形態に係るバッテリ式フォークリフトを左側から見た状態を示した側面図である。図3は、本実施形態に係るバッテリ式フォークリフトを左後方斜め上側から見た状態を示した斜視図である。以下において、バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、フォーク13が設けられている側が前方であり、カウンタウエイト20が設けられている側が後方である。作業車両がバッテリ式フォークリフトでない場合、運転席34から操作装置としてのハンドル36に向かう側が前方であり、ハンドル36から運転席34に向かう側が後方である。操作装置としては、作業車両の操舵に用いるハンドル36の他、油圧ショベル又はホイールローダ等においては作業機を操作するための操作レバーも含まれる。
 本実施形態においては、左右とは前方に対する左右をいうものとする。左右方向は、作業車両の本体としての車体10の幅方向である。上方は、前輪11及び後輪12のうち少なくとも3個と接触する平面(接地平面)に直交し、かつ接地平面から前輪11又は後輪12の回転中心軸に向かう側である。下方は、前輪11又は後輪12の回転中心軸から接地平面に向かう側である。車体10の前後方向に向かい、かつ車体10の幅方向中心を通る軸を前後軸といい、前後軸に直交し、設置平面と平行かつ車体10の左右方向に向かう軸を左右軸という。車体10の上下方向に向かう軸を上下軸という。上下軸は、前後軸と左右軸との両方に直交する。以下において、平面視とは、上方から見た状態をいうものとする。
<バッテリ式フォークリフト1の全体構成>
 バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、車体10の前方の隅部にそれぞれ前輪11を備え、車体10の後方の隅部にそれぞれ後輪12を備える。バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、前輪11の後方に設けられた走行用の電動機(走行用電動機)50によって前輪11が駆動されることにより走行する。より具体的には、走行用電動機50の出力は、減速機能を有する動力伝達装置51を介して両方の前輪11、11に伝達されて、これらを駆動する。
 本実施形態において、走行用電動機50には、例えば、PM(Permanent Magnet)型、すなわちローターが永久磁石を有する形式の電動機を用いることができる。PM型の電動機が走行用電動機50として用いられる場合、SPM(Surface Permanent Magnet)型であってもよいし、IPM(Interior Permanent Magnet)型であってもよい。
 車体10の前方には、荷物の積み降ろし又は移動を行うためのフォーク13が設けられている。フォーク13は、上下方向に沿って設けられたマスト14に支持されている。フォーク13は、マスト14との間に設けたマストシリンダ15の駆動により、マスト14に沿って昇降する。図には明示していないが、マスト14は、その下端部において左右軸回りに回転可能に車体10に取り付けられている。さらに、マスト14は、車体10との間に、図示しないチルトシリンダを備えている。マスト14は、チルトシリンダの駆動により、車体10に対して前傾姿勢又は後傾姿勢をとることが可能である。
 車体10の後端部には、カウンタウエイト20が設けられている。このように、バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、カウンタバランス型のフォークリフトであるが、これに限定されるものではない。カウンタウエイト20は、フォーク13が荷物を支持した場合に釣り合いをとるためのウエイトである。カウンタウエイト20は、例えば、金属が用いられるがこれに限定されるものではない。カウンタウエイト20は、車体10において後輪12の上方となる部位から後端にわたる部位に配設してある。
 バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、アクセルペダル37、ブレーキペダル38及び進行方向切替レバー39を備えている。アクセルペダル37は、走行用電動機50の出力及び回転方向を制御する操作用の部材である。ブレーキペダル38は、バッテリ式フォークリフト1を停止させるための操作用の部材である。進行方向切替レバー39は、バッテリ式フォークリフト1の進行方向を前方又は後方のいずれか一方に切り替えるための操作用の部材である。バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、充電用コネクタ23を備えている。充電用コネクタ23は、バッテリ30を充電する際に、図1に示す充電装置2の充電装置側コネクタ24が接続される。充電用コネクタ23は、充電装置側コネクタ24が接続されないときには、防水のための蓋が取り付けられる。
 図3に示すように、バッテリ式フォークリフト1は、ハンドル36の前方に、表示装置としての表示パネル52を備えている。表示パネル52は、バッテリ式フォークリフト1に対して様々な設定をするための入力部と、バッテリ式フォークリフト1の状態等に関する情報を表示する表示部とを有している。バッテリ式フォークリフト1のオペレータは、表示パネル52を介して、バッテリ式フォークリフト1に対して様々な設定をする。表示パネル52の表示部に表示されるバッテリ式フォークリフト1の状態等に関する情報としては、例えば、バッテリ30の状態又はマストシリンダ15等に供給される作動油の油圧等である。作動油は後述する荷役用電動機55により駆動される油圧ポンプ56から供給される。車載制御装置60は、走行用電動機50及び荷役用電動機55を制御する。
<充電装置2の構造>
 図4は、本実施形態に係る充電装置の斜視図である。図5は、防水カバーを外した状態の充電装置を示す正面図である。図6は、フィルタを示す図である。図7は、防水カバーを外した状態の充電装置を示す背面図である。図8は、フィルタを示す図である。充電装置2は、図5に示すように、筐体2C内に、制御部70、充電装置用電源71、起動信号生成部72及び電力変換部73が収納される。
 制御部70は、電力変換部73を制御する。充電装置用電源71は、図2に示すバッテリ式フォークリフト1が搭載するバッテリ30から供給される電力を変圧(本実施形態では降圧)して、制御部70に供給する。起動信号生成部72は、図2に示す車載制御装置60を起動させるための信号を生成し、バッテリ式フォークリフト1の電源装置に送信する。
 電力変換部73は、バッテリ30に供給するため、交流電力を直流電力に変換する。電力変換部73は、ダイオード73Dと、スイッチング素子73SWと、整流部73Tとを含む。ダイオード73Dは、交流電源からの三相交流を整流する。スイッチング素子73SWは、制御部70によって所定のタイミングでON-OFFされることにより、充電装置2が一定の値の電流を出力するように定電流制御される。整流部73Tは、トランスを備えており、スイッチング素子73SWが出力した電流を変圧(本実施形態では降圧)して出力する。筐体2Cは、底部2CB、底部2CBと対向する上部2CT及び底部2CBと上部2CTとを接続する側部2CSを有する。
 筐体2Cの形状は、立方体形状である。すなわち、底部2CB及び上部2CTは平面視が長方形(正方形を含む)であり、両者を接続する4個の側部2CSも、平面視が長方形(正方形を含む)である。本実施形態において、底部2CB、上部2CT及び4個の側部2CSは、いずれも平板の部材である。筐体2Cの底部2CBには、複数の脚部LGが取り付けられている。筐体2Cは、4個の側部2CSのうちの1個に、非常停止スイッチ75と、ランプ75Lと、状態表示ランプ75IGとが設けられている。状態表示ランプ75IGは、例えば、バッテリ30の充電の進行状況を示す。
 非常停止スイッチ75、ランプ75L及び状態表示ランプ75IGが設けられる側部2CSは、充電装置を操作する作業者に向けて配置される。非常停止スイッチ75、ランプ75L及び状態表示ランプ75IGが設けられる側部2CSFを、便宜上前側部2CSFともいう。また、前側部2CSFと対向する側部2CSRを、便宜上後側部2CSRともいう。筐体2Cの外側、より具体的には、前側部2CSFに防水カバー2FCが設けられており、後側部2CSRに防水カバー2RCが設けられている。
 図5に示すように、筐体2Cの内部は、放熱部材収納室2CHと、電気部品収納室2CEとに分けられている。本実施形態において、電気部品収納室2CEは、筐体内仕切部材85によって、筐体2Cの上部2CT側と下部2CB側とに区画されている。筐体内仕切部材85は、板状の部材である。筐体内仕切部材85が区画した筐体2Cの上部2CT側を上部収納室2CUと呼び、下部2CB側を下部収納室2CDと呼ぶ。なお、筐体内仕切部材85を有さず、電気部品収納室2CEが2つに区画されていなくてもよい。また、電気部品収納室2CEが3以上に区画されていてもよい。
 放熱部材収納室2CHは、筐体2Cの内部に設けられたダクト84で囲まれた空間である。放熱部材収納室2CHは、放熱部材としてのヒートシンク83を収納する。ヒートシンク83は、電力変換部73が有する複数の電気部品のうち、一部の電気部品が取り付けられる。本実施形態では、ダイオード73D及びスイッチング素子73SWが取り付けられる。ヒートシンク83は、一方向に延在する複数のフィン83Fと、複数のフィン83Fが取り付けられる基部83Bとを有している。本実施形態において、それぞれのフィン83Fは、前側部2CSFから後側部2CSRに向かう方向に延在している。複数のフィン83Fの基部83Bとは反対側の端部83FTは、底部2CBと対向している。
 電気部品収納室2CEは、電力変換部が有する複数の電気部品のうち、他の電気部品、すなわちヒートシンク83に取り付けられたもの以外の電気部品と、制御部70とを収納する。ヒートシンク83に取り付けられたもの以外の電気部品としては、整流部73Tが有するトランス等がある。この他に、電気部品収納室2CEは、充電装置用電源71及び起動信号生成部72を収納する。上部収納室2CUには、制御部70、充電装置用電源71及び起動信号生成部72が収納される。下部収納室2CDには、整流部73Tが収納される。
 図5に示すように、筐体2Cの一部である前側部2CSFには、第1吸気口81と、第2吸気口82とが設けられている。このように、本実施形態において、第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82は、筐体2Cの同一の側部、すなわち前側部2CSFに設けられている。本実施形態において、第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82は、いずれも1個である。これらは筐体2Cの幅方向にオフセットされて上下に配置される。幅方向は、上下方向と直交する方向である。第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82をこのように配置することにより、筐体2C内において、気体を通過させたい場所に導入しやすくなる。なお、第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82の数及び配置は限定されない。
 第1吸気口81は、放熱部材収納室2CHに気体を導入する開口である。第1吸気口81は、ヒートシンク83が有する複数のフィン83Fの間に気体を導入する。第2吸気口82は、前側部2CSFに設けられ、かつ電気部品収納室2CEに気体を導入する開口である。第2吸気口82は、上部収納室2CU及び下部収納室2CDの両方に気体を導入する。このため、筐体内仕切部材85を跨ぎ、筐体内仕切部材85の一方の面側と他方の面側との両方に開口している。このような構造により、第2吸気口82は、筐体内仕切部材85で仕切られた両方の電気部品収納室2CEに機体を導入することができる。図4に示す防水カバー2FCは、第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82を覆う。防水カバー2FCを、適宜吸気側防水カバー2FCという。吸気側防水カバー2FCは、雨又は雪等が第1吸気口81又は第2吸気口82から筐体2Cの内部に浸入することを抑制する。
 図6に示すように、第2吸気口82には、吸気側フィルタFLiが設けられる。吸気側フィルタFLiは、第2吸気口82から筐体2Cの内部に塵等が入り込むことを抑制する。吸気側フィルタFLiは、例えば、ボルトBLによって筐体2Cの一部である前側部2CSFに取り付けられている。ボルトBLを取付け又は取り外しすることにより、吸気側フィルタFLiを第2吸気口82に着脱することができる。吸気側フィルタFLiを第2吸気口82に着脱できるようにすることで、吸気側フィルタFLiが目詰まりしたり、使用環境によって吸気側フィルタFLiの仕様、例えば、目の細かさを変更したりすることができる。
 図5に示すように、筐体2Cの一部である前側部2CSFには、第1吸気口81と第2吸気口82とを区画する吸気側仕切部材86が設けられる。図4に示す吸気側防水カバー2FCが前側部2CSFに取り付けられると、吸気側仕切部材86は、吸気側防水カバー2FCと筐体2Cとの間に設けられて、第1吸気口81と第2吸気口82とを区画することになる。吸気側仕切部材86は、筐体2Cの底部2CB側が開口している。後述するように、この開口している部分にはメッシュが取り付けられる。吸気側仕切部材86は、前述したメッシュを通過した気体を第1吸気口81に導く。
 図7に示すように、筐体2Cの一部である後側部2CSRには、第1排気口87Hと、第2排気口88Hとが設けられている。このように、本実施形態において、第1排気口87H及び第2吸気口88Hは、筐体2Cの同一の側部、すなわち後側部2CSRに設けられている。本実施形態において、第1排気口87H及び第2排気口88Hは、いずれも1個である。これらは筐体2Cの幅方向にオフセットされて上下に配置される。第1排気口87H及び第2排気口88Hをこのように配置することにより、第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82から筐体2C内に導入された気体を排出させやすくなる。なお、第1排気口87H及び第2排気口88Hの数及び配置は限定されない。
 第1吸気口81と第1排気口87Hとは互いに対向した位置に配置される。このような構造により、第1吸気口81からヒートシンク83に導入された気体は、第1排気口87Hから効率よく排出される。
 第1排気口87Hは、放熱部材収納室2CHから気体を排出する開口である。第1排気口87Hは、ヒートシンク83が有する複数のフィン83Fの間から気体を排出する。第2排気口88Hは、後側部2CSRに設けられ、かつ電気部品収納室2CEから気体を排出する開口である。第2排気口88Hは、上部収納室2CU及び下部収納室2CDの両方から気体を排出する。図4に示す防水カバー2RCは、第1排気口87H及び第2排気口88Hを覆う。防水カバー2RCを、適宜排気側防水カバー2RCという。排気側防水カバー2RCは、雨又は雪等が第1排気口87H又は第2排気口88Hから筐体2Cの内部に浸入することを抑制する。
 図7に示すように、第2排気口88Hには、排気側フィルタFLeが設けられる。排気側フィルタFLeは、第2排気口88Hから筐体2Cの内部に塵等が入り込むことを抑制する。排気側フィルタFLeは、例えば、ボルトBLによって筐体2Cの一部である後側部2CSRに取り付けられている。ボルトBLを取付け又は取り外しすることにより、排気側フィルタFLeを第2排気口88Hに着脱することができる。排気側フィルタFLeを第2排気口88Hに着脱できるようにすることで、排気側フィルタFLeが目詰まりしたり、使用環境によって排気側フィルタFLeの仕様、例えば、目の細かさを変更したりすることができる。
 第1排気口87Hには、第1ファン87が設けられる。第2排気口88Hには、第2ファン88が設けられる。第1ファン87は放熱部材収納室2CHに気体を導入する。第2ファン88は、電気部品収納室2CEに気体を導入する。具体的には、第1ファン87は、放熱部材収納室2CHから気体を吸引することによって、第1吸気口81から放熱部材収納室2CHに気体を導入し、第1排気口87Hから排出する。第2ファン88は、電気部品収納室2CEから気体を吸引することによって第2吸気口82から電気部品収納室2CEに気体を導入し、第2排気口88Hから排出する。なお、第1ファン87と第2ファン88とは、それぞれ放熱部材収納室2CHと電気部品収納室2CEとに気体を送り込んでもよい。
 第1ファン87によって第1吸気口81から吸引された機体は、第1排気口87Hに向かって流れる。前述したように、放熱部材収納室2CHには、図5に示すヒートシンク83が収納されている。ヒートシンク83が備える複数のフィン83Fは、第1吸気口81から第1排気口87Hに向かって延在している。すなわち、複数のフィン83Fは、気体が放熱部材収納室2CH内を流れる方向に向かって延在している。このような構造により、第1ファン87が気体を吸引すると、隣接するフィン83Fの間を気体が流れるので、ヒートシンク83を効率的に冷却することができる。
 充電装置2は、放熱部材収納室2CH及び電気部品収納室2CEを有し、さらに、放熱部材収納室2CHに気体を導入する第1吸気口81、第1ファン87及び導入された気体を排出する第1排気口87Hと、電気部品収納室2CEに気体を導入する第2吸気口82、第2ファン88及び導入された気体を排出する第2排気口88Hと、を有している。このような構造により、第1ファン87はヒートシンク83を集中して冷却でき、第2ファン88は電気部品収納室2CEに配置された電気部品を集中して冷却することができる。その結果、ヒートシンク83に取り付けられた電気部品及び電気部品収納室2CE内の電気部品は、いずれも効率よく冷却される。
 図7、図8に示すように、筐体2Cの一部である後側部2CSRには、第1排気口87Hと第2排気口88Hとを区画する排気側仕切部材89が設けられる。図4に示す排気側防水カバー2RCが後側部2CSRに取り付けられると、排気側仕切部材89は、排気側防水カバー2RCと筐体2Cとの間に設けられて、第1排気口87Hと第2排気口88Hとを区画することになる。排気側仕切部材89は、筐体2Cの底部2CB側が開口している。後述するように、この開口している部分にはメッシュが取り付けられる。排気側仕切部材89は、第1排気口87Hから排出された気体を前述したメッシュから排気側防水カバー2RCの外部に排出する。
 後側部2CSRは、第1ファン87及び第2ファン88の両方から気体が排出される。このため、両者から排出された気体が干渉し合って、放熱部材収納室2CH及び電気部品収納室2CEから気体を排出する効率(排出効率)が低下する可能性がある。排気側仕切部材89は、排気側防水カバー2RCと後側部2CSRとの間で、第1ファン87が存在する空間と第2ファン88が存在する空間とを区画する。このような構造により、第1ファン87から排出された気体と第2ファン88から排出された気体との干渉を抑制できるので、排出効率の低下を抑制することができる。その結果、放熱部材収納室2CHの内部及び電気部品収納室2CEの内部を効率よく冷却することができる。特に、急速充電時には電力変換部73等の発熱量が多くなるので効果的である。
 図2に示すバッテリ式フォークリフト1が備えるバッテリ30を急速充電するときには、充電装置2の電力変換部73、特にダイオード73D及びスイッチング素子73SWのスイッチング時における発熱量が大きくなる。本実施形態の充電装置2は、電力変換部73を始めとして、制御部70及び充電装置用電源71等の筐体2Cの内部に収納される機器類を効率的に冷却できるので、バッテリ30を急速充電する際には特に好ましい。
 図9は、充電装置を筐体の下部側から見た図である。図10は、メッシュの拡大図である。図11は、ヒートシンクの拡大図である。底部2CBには、4本の脚部LGを有している。脚部LGが充電装置2の設置対象と接する。吸気側防水カバー2FC及び排気側防水カバー2RCは、筐体2Cの底部2CB側が開口している。吸気側防水カバー2FC側の開口は、吸気側防水カバー2FCの外側であって、吸気側防水カバー2FCと前側部2CSFとの間に設けられている吸気側仕切部材86によって、2つに区画される。図5に示す第1吸気口81側の開口には、メッシュ(以下吸気側メッシュという)MSiが設けられている。第1吸気口81側ではない開口(以下、フィルタ側開口という)2FCHは、吸気側フィルタFLiが設けられる空間につながっている。フィルタ側開口2FCHは、筐体2Cの外部の気体を通過させて、吸気側フィルタFLiに導く。
 吸気側仕切部材86は、吸気側防水カバー2FC側の開口を2つに仕切り、かつ図5に示すように第1吸気口81と第2吸気口82とを区画する。このような構造により、第1吸気口81と、吸気側フィルタFLiが取り付けられた第2吸気口82とに導かれる気体の干渉が抑制される。その結果、吸気側仕切部材86は、気体の干渉によって第1吸気口81及び第2吸気口82の吸入効率の低下を抑制できるので、ヒートシンク83に取り付けられた電気部品及び電気部品収納室2CE内の電気部品を効率よく冷却することができる。
 排気側防水カバー2RC側の開口は、排気側防水カバー2RCと後側部2CSRとの間に設けられている排気側仕切部材89によって、2つに区画される。図7に示す第1排気口87H側の開口には、メッシュ(以下排気側メッシュという)MSeが設けられている。第1排気口87H側ではない開口(以下、フィルタ側開口という)2RCHは、排気側フィルタFLeが設けられる空間につながっている。フィルタ側開口2RCHは、排気側フィルタFLeから排出された気体を通過させて、筐体2Cの外部に放出する。
 吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeは、第1吸気口81又は第1排気口87Hから放熱部材収納室2CH内に塵等が入り込むことを抑制する。放熱部材収納室2CH内に塵等が入り込むと、ヒートシンク83が備える複数のフィン83Fの間に捕捉される可能性がある。すると、フィン83F間の断面積(フィン83Fが延在する方向と直交する断面の面積)を小さくする可能性がある。結果として、放熱部材収納室2CH内に入り込んだ塵等が、フィン83F間を流れる気体の抵抗になって、気体によるヒートシンク83の冷却効率を低下させる可能性がある。
 吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeは、例えば、図10に示すように、金属又は樹脂等の線材WRを編んだ網状の部材である。隣接する線材WR同士で囲まれる部分が、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHである。吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeは、複数の開口MHを有している。本実施形態では、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHの寸法を、図11に示すヒートシンク83の隣接するフィン83F同士の間隔Phよりも小さくしている。吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHの寸法は、本実施形態では隣接する線材WRの間隔Pmとする。フィン83F同士の間隔Phは、隣接するフィン83F間の距離の最小値である。
 吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHの寸法としての間隔Pmと、隣接するフィン83F同士の間隔Phとの関係を、Pm<Phとすることにより、隣接するフィン83F同士の間隔Phよりも小さい塵は、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeによって捕捉される。その結果、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeは、ヒートシンク83が備える複数のフィン83Fの間に塵が入り込むことを抑制できるので、気体によるヒートシンク83の冷却効率の低下を抑制できる。
(ファンの制御について)
 図1に示す車載制御装置60は、充電装置2の制御部70を介して第1ファン87及び第2ファン88を制御する。例えば、第2ファン88を駆動する電流が増加すると、吸気側フィルタFLi及び排気側フィルタFLeの少なくとも一方の目詰まりが進行している判断できる。車載制御装置60は、第2ファン88を駆動する電流が所定の閾値以上になった場合には、吸気側フィルタFLi及び排気側フィルタFLeを交換する時期であるとして、例えば、図3に示す表示パネル52にフィルタの交換時期であることを表示させてもよい。このようにすれば、バッテリ式フォークリフト1のオペレータ等は、吸気側フィルタFLi及び排気側フィルタFLeの交換時期を容易に把握することができる。
 また、第1ファン87を駆動する電流が増加すると、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHの少なくとも一方の目詰まりが進行している判断できる。図2に示す車載制御装置60は、第1ファン87駆動する電流が所定の閾値以上になった場合には、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHを清掃する時期であるとして、例えば、図5に示す表示パネル52にメッシュの清掃時期であることを表示させてもよい。このようにすれば、バッテリ式フォークリフト1のオペレータ等は、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeの開口MHの清掃時期を容易に把握することができる。
(筐体2C内部の構造の詳細)
 図12は、筐体の内部を示す正面図である。図13は、下部収納室の内部を示す平面図である。図14は、上部収納室の内部を示す平面図である。図12に示すように、ヒートシンク83が有する複数のフィン83Fの端部83FTは、底部2CBと対向している。ヒートシンク83に取り付けられる電気部品、すなわち図13に示す電力変換部73が備えるダイオード73D及びスイッチング素子73SWが取り付けられる位置は、フィン83Fの端部よりも上部2CT側である。このような構造により、仮に底部2CBに水等が溜まった場合でも、ダイオード73D及びスイッチング素子73SWに水等が接触する可能性を低減することができる。
 電力変換部73が備える他の電気部品、本実施形態では整流部73Tは、底部2CBとの間に所定の間隔が設けられて、電気部品収納室2CEの下部収納室2CD内に配置される。本実施形態では、底部2CBに設置台90を設けて、設置台90の上面90Tに整流部73Tの下面73TBを取り付ける。底部2CBから設置台90の上面90Tまでの距離htが前述した所定の間隔の大きさとなる。このような構造により、仮に底部2CBに水等が溜まった場合でも、整流部73Tに水等が接触する可能性を低減することができる。
 図13に示すように、ダクト84は、一部に切り欠き84Cを有している。切り欠き84Cは、図12に示す筐体2Cの上部2CT側に設けられている。切り欠き84Cの部分は、ヒートシンク83が露出している。切り欠き84Cによって露出したヒートシンク83に、ダイオード73D及びスイッチング素子73SWが取り付けられる。図13に示すように、ダクト84は、前側部2CSFと後側部2CSRとに接続されている。このような構造により、図12に示す第1吸気口81から導入した気体の漏洩を抑制して、ヒートシンク83のフィン83Fの間に確実に気体を流すことができる。切り欠き84Cとヒートシンク83との間は、例えば、シール剤等で封止されていてもよい。このようにすれば、ダクト84からの気体の漏洩をより確実に抑制できるので、ヒートシンク83のフィン83Fの間により確実に気体を流すことができる。
 図12に示すように、第2吸気口82及び第2排気口88Hは、筐体内仕切部材85を挟んで電気部品収納室2CEの上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方に開口している。また、図12に示すように、第2吸気口82は、第1吸気口81よりも上部2CT側に開口している。第2排気口88Hは、第1排気口87Hよりも上部2CT側に開口している。筐体内仕切部材85は筐体2C内の高さ方向の中央部近傍に配置されるので、第2吸気口82及び第2排気口88Hの配置を前述したようにすることで、これらを上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方に開口させやすくなる。筐体2C内の高さ方向とは、筐体2Cの底部2CBから上部2CTに向かう方向である。
 第2ファン88は、電気部品収納室2CEの上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方に気体を導入する。本実施形態では、第2ファン88は、第2排気口88Hに取り付けられて電気部品収納室2CEの上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方から気体を吸引する。このようにすることで、第2吸気口82から、上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方に気体が導入される。また、1個の第2ファン88によって上部収納室2CUと下部収納室2CDとの両方に気体を導入できるので、第2ファン88の数を低減できる。
 本実施形態において、図14に示すように、充電装置用電源71と制御部70及び起動信号生成部72とは、筐体2の幅方向に並んで配置されている。第2ファン88は、図14に示すように、充電装置用電源71側に設けられ、これと対向している。第2ファン88は、第2排気口88Hに取り付けられるため、第2排気口88Hも、充電装置用電源71側に設けられ、これと対向している。一般に充電装置用電源71は、制御部70及び起動信号生成部72と比較すると発熱量が大きい。本実施形態においては、図12に示すように、筐体2Cの同一の前側部2CSF側又は後側部2CSR側から見た場合、第2吸気口82と第2ファン88とは、筐体2の幅方向にオフセットしており、さらに、第2ファン88及び第2排気口88Hは、充電装置用電源71側に設けられている。このような構造により、第2吸気口82から筐体2C内に導入された気体を、より発熱量の大きい電気部品側に流すことができる。その結果、筐体2C内に配置される複数の電気部品のうち、相対的に発熱量の大きい電気部品の冷却効率が向上する。
 第2排気口88Hが上部収納室2CUに開口する大きさと下部収納室2CDに開口する大きさとを調整することにより、上部収納室2CUに導入される気体の流量と下部収納室2CDに導入される気体の流量とを調整することができる。第2吸気口82が上部収納室2CUに開口する大きさと下部収納室2CDに開口する大きさとを調整しても、上部収納室2CUに導入される気体の流量と下部収納室2CDに導入される気体の流量とを調整することができる。
 図15及び図16は、筐体内仕切部材が有する切り欠きを示す図である。図14に示すように、筐体内仕切部材85は、制御部70と、充電装置用電源71と、起動信号生成部72とを搭載している。筐体内仕切部材85は、前側部2CSF側と後側部2CSR側とに、それぞれ切り欠き85CFと切り欠き85CRとを有する。前側部2CSF側の切り欠き85CFは、図15に示すように第2吸気口82と対向する位置に設けられている。後側部2CSR側の切り欠き85CRは、図16に示すように第2ファン88が収まるように設けられている。第2ファン88は、第2排気口88Hに取り付けられるので、後側部2CSR側の切り欠き85CRは、第2排気口88Hと対向する位置に設けられる。
 図4に示す吸気側防水カバー2FC又は排気側防水カバー2RCと筐体2Cとの隙間から仮に水等が入り込んだ場合、この水は、前側部2CSF又は後側部2CSRの外側に接触する。前側部2CSF又は後側部2CSRの外側に接触した水は、これらに沿って充電装置2の底部2CBに向かって流れて、充電装置2の設置面に滴下する。前述した隙間から入り込んだ水が、第2吸気口82又は第2排気口88Hから筐体2Cの内部に入り込んだとする。この水は、前側部2CSF側の切り欠き85CF又は後側部2CSR側の切り欠き85CRを通って前側部2CSF又は後側部2CSRの内側に接触する。前側部2CSF又は後側部2CSRの外側に接触した水は、これらに沿って充電装置2の底部2CBに向かって流れた後、底部2CBと前側部2CSF、後側部2CSR又はその他の側部2CSとの間から充電装置2の設置面に滴下する。前側部2CSF又は後側部2CSRと他の側部2CSとの間から筐体2C内に入り込んだ水も、これらの内側に接触した後、底部2CBに向かって流れて、底部2CBと前側部2CSF、後側部2CSR又はその他の側部2CSとの間から充電装置2の設置面に滴下する。
 このように、充電装置2は、水等が筐体2C内に入り込んだとしても、その水等を外部に排出できるので、筐体2Cの内部に収納された電気部品の耐久性低下を抑制できる。なお、筐体2C内に入り込んだ水等を効率よく外部に排出するため、底部2CBに開口を設けてもよい。このようにすれば、底部2CBの内側に移動した水等は、前述した開口から筐体2Cの外部に容易に排出される。
 充電装置2は、吸気側防水カバー2FC又は排気側防水カバー2RCと、吸気側フィルタFLi及び排気側フィルタFLeと、吸気側メッシュMSi及び排気側メッシュMSeとにより、防塵性能及び防水性能を確保することができる。また、充電装置2は、第1ファン87がヒートシンク83を冷却し、第2ファン88が電気部品収納室2CE内に配置された電気部品を強制的に冷却するので、これらの冷却も確保できる。
 以上、本実施形態を説明したが、上述した内容により本実施形態が限定されるものではない。また、上述した構成要素には、当業者が容易に想定できるもの、実質的に同一のもの、いわゆる均等の範囲のものが含まれる。さらに、上述した構成要素は適宜組み合わせることが可能である。さらに、本実施形態の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成要素の種々の省略、置換又は変更を行うことができる。

Claims (8)

  1.  バッテリを充電するための装置であり、
     底部、前記底部と対向する上部及び前記底部と前記上部とを接続する側部を有し、かつ交流電力を前記バッテリに供給するための直流電力に変換する電力変換部及び前記電力変換部を制御する制御部を収納する筐体と、
     前記電力変換部が有する複数の電気部品のうちの一部の電気部品が取り付けられ、かつ複数のフィンを有する放熱部材を収納する放熱部材収納室と、
     前記電力変換部の他の電気部品及び前記制御部を収納する電気部品収納室と、
     前記筐体に設けられ、かつ前記放熱部材収納室に気体を導入する第1吸気口及び導入された気体を排出する第1排気口と、
     前記筐体に設けられ、かつ前記電気部品収納室に気体を導入する第2吸気口及び導入された気体を排出する第2排気口と、
     前記放熱部材収納室に気体を導入する第1ファン及び前記電気部品収納室に気体を導入する第2ファンと、を含み、
     前記側部には、前記第1吸気口、前記第2吸気口、前記第1排気口及び前記第2排気口が開口し、前記第2吸気口は、前記第1吸気口よりも前記上部側に開口し、前記第2排気口は前記第1排気口よりも前記上部側に開口する、充電装置。
  2.  前記第2吸気口に設けられて、着脱できる吸気側フィルタと、
     前記第2排気口に設けられて、着脱できる排気側フィルタと、
     を有する、請求項1に記載の充電装置。
  3.  前記放熱部材が有する前記複数のフィンは、前記気体が流れる方向に向かって延在し、
     前記第1吸気口の入口側に設けられ、隣接する前記フィン同士の間隔よりも寸法が小さい開口を有する入口側メッシュと、
     前記第1吸気口及び前記第2吸気口を覆う吸気側防水カバーと前記筐体との間に設けられて前記第1吸気口と前記第2吸気口とを区画し、かつ前記第1メッシュを通過した気体を前記第1吸気口に導く吸気側仕切部材と、
     前記第1排気口の出口側に設けられ、隣接する前記フィン同士の間隔よりも寸法が小さい開口を有する出口側メッシュと、
     前記第1排気口及び前記第2排気口を覆う排気側防水カバーと前記筐体との間に設けられて前記第1排気口と前記第2排気口とを区画し、かつ前記第2排気口から排出された気体を前記第2メッシュに導く排気側仕切部材と、
     を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の充電装置。
  4.  前記放熱部材が有する前記複数のフィンの端部は前記底部と対向し、前記一部の電気部品が取り付けられる位置は前記フィンの端部よりも前記上部側である、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。
  5.  前記他の電気部品は、前記底部との間に所定の間隔が設けられて電気部品収納室の内部に配置される、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。
  6.  前記筐体は、電気部品収納室を前記上部側と前記下部側とに区画する筐体内仕切部材を有し、
     前記第2吸気口及び前記第2排気口は、前記筐体内仕切部材を挟んで電気部品収納室の前記上部側と前記下部側との両方に開口する、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。
  7.  前記第2ファンは、前記電気部品収納室の前記上部側と前記下部側との両方に気体を導入する、請求項6に記載の充電装置。
  8.  前記第1ファンは前記第1排気口に設けられて前記放熱部材収納室から気体を吸引し、前記第2ファンは前記第2排気口に設けられて前記電気部品収納室から気体を吸引する、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の充電装置。
