본 발명은 아이폰, 겔럭시 에스 등과 같은 스마트 폰의 보호를 위해 사용되는 휴대 단말기용 케이스에 관련되며, 구체적으로 휴대 단말기를 적당한 각도로 세워둘 수 있도록 필요시 펼칠 수 있는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스에 관한 기술이다.
흔히 스마트 폰이라 부르는 휴대 단말기는 초등학생으로부터 장년층에 이르기까지 거의 대부분의 사람들이 소지하는 생활의 필수품이 되었다. 휴대 단말기는 무선 통화외에도 다양한 컨텐츠를 제공하기 때문에 휴대용 컴퓨터 인식되고 있을 정도에 이르게 되었다.
이러한 휴대 단말기는 매우 고가이므로 보관에 많은 신경을 쓰게 되며, 소형이다보니 조금만 부주의하면 잃어버리거나 도난을 당하기도 한다. 기술의 발전으로 소형화된 부품으로 스마트폰은 갈수록 얇고 작은 사이즈로 제공되고 있으며, 내구성도 향상되고 있지만, 여전히 고가의 스마트 폰을 떨어뜨리게 되면 그 충격에 의해 고장이 발생되는 일이 많다.

이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 기술되는 바람직한 실시 예를 통하여 본 발명을 당업자가 용이하게 재현할 수 있도록 상세히 기술하도록 한다.
본 발명에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스는 아이폰이나 겔럭시 폰과 같은 스마트폰 용 케이스로 제공될 수 있으며, 그 외 휴대 단말기의 케이스로도 제공될 수 있다.
첨부되는 도 2는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스의 평면도이며, 도 3은 도 2에 대한 단면도이고, 도 4는 도 2에 대한 배면도이고, 도 5는 도 2에 대한 저면도이다. 도 6은 교체형 모듈의 확대 평면도이고, 도 7은 교체형 모듈의 단면 확대도이며, 도 8은 장착홈에 형성되는 탈부착 홈에 커넥터가 탈부착되는 방식을 보여주는 탈부착 예시도이다. 도 9는 장착홈에 수납되었던 작동부가 펼쳐지는 사용 상태도이고, 도 10은 작동부를 이용한 휴대 단말기의 거치 상태를 보여주는 사용 상태도이다. 도 11은 작동부에 거울이 부착된 경우를 보여주는 교체형 모듈의 평면도이고, 도 12는 작동부에 확대경이 부착된 경우를 보여주는 교체형 모듈의 평면도이다.
도시된 바와 같이 본 발명에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스는 케이스(100), 장착홈(200), 교체형 모듈(300)을 포함하여 이루어지며, 구체적으로 케이스(100)는 휴대 단말기의 외면을 감싸 보호하는 기능을 한다.
이러한 케이스(100)는 휴대 단말기의 네 측면과 후면을 감싸는 형태일 수 있지만, 휴대 단말기의 정면을 덮는 덮개를 포함하는 케이스를 배제하는 것은 아니다.
케이스(100)는 공지의 다양한 재질로 제작될 수 있는 것이며, 케이스(100)의 배면에 함몰되게 형성되는 장착홈(200)이 마련된다. 장착홈(200)은 후술될 교체형 모듈(300)의 구체적인 형상에 따라 변경될 수 있는 것이다.
본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에서는 도면과 같이 원형 형태로 함몰되는 장착홈(200)을 예시로 한다.
장착홈(200)에 교체형 모듈(300)이 수납되도록 결합되며, 교체형 모듈(300)은 필요시 펼쳐질 수 있고, 사용하지 않을 때에는 접어서 보관할 수 있도록 한다. 교체형 모듈(300)은 장착홈(200)에 연결되어 360도 자유롭게 회전될 수 있으며, 회전된 위치에서 적당한 각도로 회동되어 꺽일 수 있도록 구성된다.
바람직하게 교체형 모듈(300)은 커넥터(310)와 작동부(320)로 이루어지며, 커넥터(310)가 장착홈(200)에 회전 가능하도록 연결된다. 장착홈(200)에 형성되는 탈부착 홈(210)에 회전 가능하도록 결합되는 커넥터(310)에 회동 가능한 구조로 작동(320)가 결합되며, 작동부(320)는 접힌 상태일 때 장착홈(200)에 수납되며, 반대로 작동부(320)가 펼쳐지면 장착홈(200)으로부터 돌출되어 휴대용 단말기의 거치대로 기능할 수 있다.
본 실시예의 경우는 작동부(320)의 중심부가 뚫려있도록 함으로써 작동부(320)를 펼쳐서 사용자가 손가락을 작동부(320)에 걸어서 사용함으로써 휴대 단말기를 사용 중 놓치거나 잃어버리는 것을 방지할 수 있는 핑거 스트랩으로 사용 가능하도록 한다.
장착홈(200)의 일단에 커넥터(310)의 탈부착을 위한 탈부착 홈(210)이 형성되는데, 탈부착 홈(210)은 큰원(211)과 작은원(212)이 직선구간(213)에 의해 연결된 형상을 이루어 사용자가 필요시 교체형 모듈(300)을 교체할 수 있도록 한다.
교체형 모듈(300)은 다양한 디자인, 기능을 갖는 것으로 제작될 수 있기 때문에 사용자는 자신이 원하는 교체형 모듈(300)을 별도로 구매하여 교체할 수 있다. 즉, 핑거 스트랩 기능을 갖는 교체형 모듈은 하나의 예시에 불과한 것이다.
도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 본 실시예의 경우 탈부착 홈(210)은 큰원(211)과 작은원(212)이 직선구간(213)에 의해 연결되되, 직선구간(213)의 폭 길이는 작은원(212)의 직경보다 짧도록 형성됨으로써 커넥터(310)를 큰원(211)에 끼운 후 위치를 맞추어 직선구간(213)을 통과하도록 하고 작은원(212)에서 커넥터(310)를 회전시키면 고정이 이루어질 수 있다.
탈부착 홈(210)에 탈부착될 수 있는 커넥터(310)의 구체적인 형상은 대략 장구형상을 이루게 되며, 상하부는 원형의 플랜지(311)가 되고 그 사이의 중간부분은 오목한 걸림부(312)로 이루어지고, 걸림부(312)는 트랙형상의 단면이 된다.
탈부착 홈(210)과 커넥터(310)의 결합구조 때문에 교체형 모듈(300)을 쉽게 교체할 수 있고, 탈부착 홈(210)에 결합된 커넥터(310)는 자유롭게 회전될 수 있어 원하는 위치에 작동부(320)를 위치시킬 수 있다.
탈부착 홈(210)에 결합된 교체형 모듈(300)을 교체하고자 할 때에는 커넥터(310)를 회전시켜서 커넥터(310)가 직선구간(213)을 따라 이동될 수 있는 위치에 오게 한 다음 커넥터(310)를 밀어 큰원(211)쪽으로 커넥터(310)를 이동시켜서 당기면 커넥터(310)가 탈부착 홈(210)으로부터 분리되기 때문에 교체형 모듈(300)의 교체가 간단하게 이루어질 수 있다.
커넥터(310)에 대해 작동부(320)는 소정의 범위내에서 회동될 수 있어야 하며, 이를 위해 작동부(320)는 힌지(320a)와 바디(320b)로 이루어지도록 한다. 힌지(320a)는 커넥터(310)의 상면에 연결되며, 힌지(320a)와 연결되는 바디(320b)는 힌지(320a)에 대해 회동되어 접히거나 펼쳐지며, 특정한 각도로 고정이 이루어지게 된다.
바람직하게 회동 동작되는 힌지(320a)에는 다수의 각도고정홈(321)이 형성되며, 바디(320b)에는 각도고정홈(321)에 맞물리는 탄성돌기(322)가 마련된다. 본 실시예의 경우 작동부(320)의 바디(320b)는 원형 고리 형상을 이루는 것이며, 바디(320b)의 일측 단부가 돌출되고, 돌출부에 탄성돌기(322)가 마련된다. 탄성돌기(322) 마련되는 곳에 힌지(320a)와 바디(320b)가 연결된다.
작동부(320)의 바디(320b)에 마련되는 탄성돌기(322)는 스프링에 의해 지지되어 탄력적으로 움직이는 것이 바람직하고, 탄성돌기(322)가 힌지(320a)의 어느 하나의 각도고정홈(321)에 맞물려 있다가 사용자가 작동부(320)에 힘을 주게 되면 탄성돌기(322)가 각도고정홈(321)을 타고 넘어 다른 각도고정홈으로 옮겨감으로써 작동부(320)는 장착홈(200)에 수납된 상태에서 벗어나 펼쳐질 수 있고, 펼쳐진 상태에서 적당한 각도로 유지될 수 있는 것이다.
구체적으로 탄성돌기(322)는 바디(320b)의 일측에 형성되는 구멍에 삽입되는 헤드(322a)와 헤드(322a)를 지지하는 스프링(322b) 및 스프링(322b)의 이탈을 방지하는 마개(322c)로 이루어질 수 있고, 헤드(322a)에 힘이 작용되면 헤드(322a)가 후퇴되면서 스프링(322b)이 압축되고, 헤드(322a)가 이웃하는 각도고정홈(321)으로 들어가면 다시 스프링(322b)의 반발력에 의해 원위치로 복귀되면서 어떠한 각도 상태로 유지될 수 있다.
도 9 및 도 10을 참고하여 본 발명에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스의 작동관계에 대해 설명하도록 한다.
케이스(100)의 장착홈(200)에 작동부(320)가 수납된 상태로 있다가 사용자가 휴대용 단말기를 통해 영화를 보고자 하거나 책상위에 잘 보이도록 거치하고자 한다면, 사용자는 장착홈(200)에 수납된 상태의 작동부(320)를 손가락으로 집어 펼쳐지게 한다. 수평 상태로 눕혀져 있던 작동부(320)를 90도만큼 들어올려 직각으로 세우도록 하면 작동부(320)는 펼쳐지는 상태가 된다.
작동부(320)가 세워진 상태에서 교체형 모듈(300) 전체를 90도 회전시키면 도 9의 씨(c)와 같은 상태가 된다. 도 9의 비(b)나 씨(c)와 같은 상태로도 휴대 단말기를 편평한 책상 위와 같은 장소에 세워둘 수 있으며, 도 10의 에이(a)는 도 9의 비(b)와 같은 상태로 휴대 단말기가 거치되는 경우를 보여준다. 도 10의 에이(a)와 같은 상태는 다소 자세가 불안정하므로 도 9의 씨(c),도10의 비(b) 또는 씨(c)와 같은 상태로 거치하는 것이 바람직하다.
도 9의 씨(c)와 같은 상태로 작동부(320)를 위치시킨 후 커넥터(310)에 대해 작동부(320)를 회동시키면 작동부(320)의 각도를 다양하게 조정할 수 있고, 도 10의 비(b)와 같이 작동부의 설치 각도를 변경시킬 수 있다.
이처럼 본 발명은 기존의 기술과 달리 작동부(320)를 다양한 각도로 하여 휴대 단말기를 거치할 수 있고, 필요시 교체형 모듈(300) 자체를 교체할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
작동부(320)는 언급한 바와 같이 다양한 형상이 될 수 있으며, 핑거 스트랩으로 기능하는 경우 중심부가 비어있는 원형 또는 다각형의 고리 형상이 될 수 있고, 중심부가 채워진 형태로 손가락을 집어넣을 수 있는 홈이 있는 형태가 될 수도 있다.
한편, 도 11 및 도 12와 같이 작동부(320)의 중심부에는 확대경이나 거울이 부착될 수도 있다. 기본적으로 작동부(320)는 휴대 단말기를 원하는 각도로 거치할 수 있는 것이지만, 작동부(320)에 작은 확대경이나 거울을 부착시킴으로써 보다 다양한 용도로 활용이 가능하게 된다. 실제, 휴대폰 케이스에 확대경이나 거울이 부착되어 있다면 실 생활에서 사용자들은 간단한 조작으로 필요시 거울이나 확대경을 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
보다 바람직하게 작동부(320)의 일부분 특히, 휴대 단말기를 거치시 지면에 닿는 영역에는 실리콘 고무가 결합되게 하여 작동부가 지면에 접촉시 미끌림이 방지될 수 있도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.
더 나아가 본 발명에서 작동부(320)에 충전이 가능한 교통카드를 내장시킴으로써, 대중교통의 이용시 별도의 교통카드를 소지할 필요없이 항상 휴대하고 있는 휴대 단말기를 이용하여 요금을 지불할 수 있도록 할 수 있다.
본 발명에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스는 거의 모든 사용자들이 항상 휴대하고 다니기 때문에 일상 생활에 필요한 다양한 소지품을 소형화하여 일체로 제공할 수 있어 다양한 응용이 가능하고 소비자들의 요구에 맞게 복합적인 기능을 갖는 제품으로 제공할 수 있다는 측면에서 상업적 가치도 높다고 할 수 있다.
즉, 언급한 작동부에 부가될 수 있는 거울, 확대경 혹은 교통카드는 하나의 응용 가능한 예에 불과한 것이며, 기타 다양한 기능들이 작동부에 접목될 수 있다.
본 발명의 상세한 설명 전반에 걸쳐 사용되는 용어들은 본 발명을 고려하여 정의된 용어들로서, 사용자 또는 운용자의 의도, 관례 등에 따라 충분히 변형될 수 있는 사항이므로, 이 용어들의 정의는 본 명세서 전반에 걸친 내용을 토대로 내려져야 할 것이다.
본 발명은 첨부된 도면에 의해 참조 되는 바람직한 실시 예를 중심으로 기술되었지만, 이러한 기재로부터 후술하는 특허청구범위에 의해 포괄되는 범위 내에서 본 발명의 범주를 벗어남이 없이 다양한 변형이 가능하다는 것은 명백하다.
본 발명에 의한 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스는 각종 휴대폰, 스마트폰 등의 케이스로 사용될 수 있고, 다양한 부가적인 기능의 접목으로 사용자들에게 보다 큰 만족감과 편의를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 휴대 단말기의 외면을 감싸 보호하는 케이스;
    상기 케이스의 배면에 함몰되게 형성되는 장착홈;
    상기 장착홈에 회전이 가능하도록 연결되는 커넥터와, 상기 커넥터에 대해 회동될 수 있도록 연결되어 접히면 상기 장착홈에 수납될 수 있고, 펼쳐지는 경우 상기 휴대용 단말기의 거치대로도 기능하게 되는 작동부로 이루어지는 교체형 모듈;을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 장착홈의 일단에 상기 커넥터의 탈부착을 위한 탈부착 홈이 형성되어 필요시 상기 교체형 모듈을 교체할 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 탈부착 홈은 큰원과 작은원이 직선구간에 의해 연결되며, 상기 직선구간의 폭 길이는 상기 작은원의 직경보다 짧도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 커넥터는 장구형상을 이루며, 중간의 오목한 걸림부는 트랙형상의 단면을 이루고 있어, 상기 탈부착 홈의 큰원에 상기 커넥터가 끼워진 후 직선구간을 따라 상기 작은 원으로 커넥터가 이동된 후 회전시킴으로써 상기 커넥터는 상기 탈부착 홈에 구속 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부는 상기 커넥터의 상면에 연결되는 힌지와 상기 힌지에 결합되어 접히거나 펼쳐지는 바디로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 힌지에는 다수의 각도고정홈이 형성되고, 상기 바디에는 상기 각도고정홈에 맞물리는 탄성돌기가 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서,
    상기 탄성돌기는 스프링에 의해 지지되어 탄력적으로 움직이는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  8. 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부는 중심부가 비어있는 원형 또는 다각형 고리 형상을 이루어 손가락을 걸 수 있는 핑거 스트랩으로 기능할 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  9. 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부의 중심부에 확대경이 부착되어 확대경으로 기능할 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  10. 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부의 중심부에 거울이 부착되어 거울로 사용할 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  11. 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부에 충전이 가능한 교통카드가 내장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
  12. 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서,
    상기 작동부의 일부분 외면에 실리콘 고무가 결합되어 상기 작동부가 펼쳐져 지면에 접촉시 미끌림이 방지될 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 교체형 모듈을 구비한 휴대 단말기용 케이스.
