Abstract
Description
そこで、本発明者らは、電気絶縁油として用いることができる適正な粘度を有するとともに、酸化安定性に優れ、外観が良好な電気絶縁油組成物を提案している(特許文献1参照)。
そこで、本発明は、従来よりも、電気絶縁特性及び酸化安定性がともに優れた電気絶縁油組成物を提供することを目的とする。
すなわち、本発明は、(A)水素化精製鉱油及び合成炭化水素油から選ばれる1種以上と、(B)n-d-M法による環分析におけるナフテン分の炭素数の割合(%CN)が50%以上70%以下であり、酸価が0.03mgKOH/g以下であり、硫黄分が0.1質量%以下であるナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油とを基油として含み、(B)成分が基油全量基準で50質量%以上70質量%以下含まれ、密閉式引火点試験方法による引火点が135℃以上であり、流動点が-40℃以下であり、密度が0.895g/cm3以下である電気絶縁油組成物を提供するものである。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物は、(A)水素化精製鉱油及び合成炭化水素油から選ばれる1種以上と、(B)n-d-M法による環分析におけるナフテン分の炭素数の割合(%CN)が50%以上70%以下であり、酸価が0.03mgKOH/g以下であり、硫黄分が0.1質量%以下であるナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油とを基油として含み、(B)成分が基油全量基準で50質量%以上70質量%以下含まれる。また、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の引火点は、135℃以上であり、流動点は、-40℃以下であり、密度は、0.895g/cm3以下である。
(A)成分は、水素化精製鉱油及び合成炭化水素油から選ばれる1種以上のものである。(A)成分として用いられる水素化精製鉱油を製造するための原油としては、特に制限なく使用することができ、例えばパラフィン系原油、ナフテン系原油等が挙げられる。上記水素化精製鉱油としては、例えば、上記原油の常圧蒸留後の残油を減圧蒸留し、得られた減圧留出油を水素化精製処理したものが挙げられる。また、水素化精製処理の他に、脱ろう処理、脱れき処理等の従来公知の精製プロセスを適宜組み合わせて製造したものであってもよい。ここで、水素化精製処理とは、(1)水素化分解による多環化合物の開環及び側鎖の脱アルキル化、(2)異性化、(3)ヘテロ原子を含む炭化水素からの該へテロ原子の除去等が起きるような比較的過酷な条件での水素化処理をいう。
(A)成分として用いられる水素化精製鉱油の、n-d-M法による環分析における全芳香族分(%CA)は、3%以上15%以下が好ましく、6%以上12%以下がより好ましい。硫黄分は、0.05質量%以下が好ましく、0.02質量%以下がより好ましい。
本発明においては、前記水素化精製鉱油を一種用いてもよく、二種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。また前記合成油を一種用いてもよく、二種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。さらには、水素化精製鉱油一種以上と合成油一種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
(A)成分の40℃における動粘度は、5mm2/s以上30mm2/s以下が好ましい。5mm2/s以上であることで揮発性が高くなりすぎず、安全上問題が生じる可能性が軽減される。また、30mm2/s以下であることで、電気絶縁油組成物の粘度調整が容易になり、不純物が多く含まれることによる色相、安定性、白土処理等の問題も生じにくくなる。当該観点から、40℃における動粘度は、6mm2/s以上20mm2/s以下がより好ましく、7mm2/s以上15mm2/s以下が特に好ましい。
(A)成分の100℃における動粘度は、0.5mm2/s以上10mm2/s以下が好ましい。0.5mm2/s以上10mm2/s以下の範囲内であれば、上記の40℃動粘度の場合と同様に、好ましい電気絶縁油組成物が得られる。当該観点から、1mm2/s以上7mm2/s以下がより好ましく、1.5mm2/s以上5mm2/s以下が特に好ましい。
(A)成分の密閉式引火点試験方法による引火点は、130℃以上280℃以下が好ましく、140℃以上200℃以下であることがより好ましい。
(A)成分の流動点は、-10℃以下が好ましく、-15℃以下がより好ましく、-20℃以下がさらに好ましく、-25℃以下が特に好ましく、-27.5℃以下が最も好ましい。
(A)成分の酸価は、0.03mgKOH/g以下が好ましく、0.02mgKOH/g以下がより好ましく、0.01mgKOH/g以下が最も好ましい。
(A)成分の硫黄分は、0.03質量%以下が好ましく、0.02質量%以下がより好ましく、0.01質量%以下が最も好ましい。
(A)成分の粘度指数は、80以上が好ましく、90以上が好ましく、95以上がさらに好ましく、100以上が特に好ましい。
(A)成分の密度は、0.895g/cm3以下が好ましく、0.890g/cm3以下がより好ましく、0.875g/cm3以下がさらに好ましく、0.870g/cm3以下が特に好ましく、0.860g/cm3以下が最も好ましい。
(A)成分の配合量は、基油全量基準で、30質量%以上50質量%以下が好ましい。基油全量基準で30質量%以上であれば、流動点を低下させることができる。また、基油全量基準で50質量%以下であれば、酸化安定性を維持することができる。当該観点から、(A)成分の配合量は、35質量%以上45質量%以下がより好ましい。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物に用いられる(B)成分は、ナフテン系原油の溶剤精製で得られるナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油である。ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油としては、例えば、ナフテン系原油の常圧蒸留後の残油を減圧蒸留し、得られた減圧留出油を溶剤抽出処理したものが挙げられる。また、溶剤抽出処理の他に、脱ろう処理、脱れき処理、水素化仕上げ等の従来公知の精製プロセスを適宜組み合わせて製造してもよい。ここで、水素化仕上げとは、通常、比較的低圧で水添処理が行われ、色相改善等を目的に行われるものであり、前記水素化精製処理とは異なるものである。本発明においては、以下に示すように特定の動粘度を示すような減圧留出油を用いて溶剤精製を行うことで、その留分に含まれる硫黄化合物等を利用して酸化安定性を向上させる。
ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油は、n-d-M法による環分析において、ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油の全炭素数に対するナフテン分の炭素数の割合(%CN)が50%以上70%以下のものである。
%CNが50%未満であると電気絶縁油組成物中への水素ガスの吸収性が不十分になり、70%を超えると、電気絶縁油組成物の密度及び流動点が実用に耐えなくなる。この観点から、%CNは、好ましくは、51%以上67%以下、より好ましくは、52%以上65%以下である。
また、ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油の酸価は、0.03mgKOH/g以下である。酸価が0.03mgKOH/gを超えると、長期間に亘って酸化安定性を維持することが困難になる。酸価は、0.01mgKOH/g以下であることが好ましい。
また、ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油の硫黄分は、ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油の全質量基準で0.1質量%以下であることが好ましい。硫黄分が0.1質量%を超えると、良好な電気絶縁特性が得られない。この観点から、硫黄分は、好ましくは、0.08質量%以下、より好ましくは、0.06質量%以下である。
(B)成分の40℃における動粘度は、5mm2/s以上100mm2/s以下であることが好ましい。40℃における動粘度が5mm2/s以上であれば、揮発性が高くなりすぎず、安全上の問題が生じない。40℃における動粘度が100mm2/s以下であれば、電気絶縁油組成物の粘度調整が困難になるという問題や不純物が多く含まれることによって発生する色相、安定性、白土処理量等に関する問題が生じ難くなる。当該観点から、40℃における動粘度はより好ましくは、5mm2/s以上50mm2/s以下、特に好ましくは9mm2/s以上15mm2/s以下である。
(B)成分の100℃における動粘度は、好ましくは0.5mm2/s以上10mm2/s以下、より好ましくは1mm2/s以上7mm2/s以下、さらに好ましくは2mm2/s以上5mm2/s以下である。この範囲にあると、揮発性を適切になり、安全上問題が生じることがない。
(B)成分の密閉式引火点試験方法による引火点は、130℃以上280℃以下が好ましく、140℃以上200℃以下であることがより好ましい。
(B)成分の流動点は、-10℃以下が好ましく、-15℃以下がより好ましく、-20℃以下がさらに好ましく、-30℃以下が特に好ましく、-40℃以下が最も好ましい。
(B)成分の粘度指数は、20以上が好ましい。
(B)成分の密度は、0.920g/cm3以下が好ましく、0.915g/cm3以下がより好ましく、0.910g/cm3以下が特に好ましい。
上記のような性状を有するナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油は、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の優れた酸化安定性に寄与するものである。
(B)成分は、基油全量基準で50質量%以上70質量%以下含まれる。50質量%未満であると酸化安定性が低下し、70質量%を超えると流動点が高くなる。当該観点から、(B)成分の配合量は、より好ましくは55質量%以上65質量%以下であり、特に好ましくは57質量%以上63質量%以下である。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物は、上記成分の他に添加剤を配合してもよい。添加剤としては、酸化防止剤、金属不活性化剤、流動点硬化剤等が挙げられる。
酸化防止剤としては、フェノール系酸化防止剤、アミン系酸化防止剤、モリブデンアミン系酸化防止剤、硫黄系酸化防止剤等が挙げられる。酸化防止剤を配合する場合には、組成物全量基準で、0.08質量%未満とすることができる。或いは、組成物全量基準で0.08質量%以上0.4質量%以下とすることができる。
電気絶縁油の規格の一例であるIEC60296では、電気絶縁油の酸化防止剤の添加量に応じて、無添加油、微量添加油、添加油の区分に分けられており、具体的には、酸化防止剤の添加量は、「無添加油」では組成物全量基準で0質量%、「微量添加油」では組成物全量基準で0.08質量%未満、「添加油」では0.08質量%以上0.4質量%以下と定められている。
従来の電気絶縁油では、酸化防止剤等の添加剤の添加量を規格に適合させるようとすると、添加剤の添加量に合わせて基油の性状も変更する必要があった。これでは、規格に適合するように電気絶縁油組成物を調製することは煩雑であり、製造コストや製造工数のロスが大きいという問題があった。
これに対して、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物は、酸化防止剤の配合量を上記規格値に合わせて変更しても、基油(本発明に係る(A)成分と(B)成分とを含んでなる基油分)の性状を調整することなく、所望の電気絶縁特性及び酸化安定性を満足することができる。
すなわち、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物によれば、基油分を共通化することができ、酸化防止剤の配合量を規格に合わせて調整するだけで各規格に適合する電気絶縁特性及び酸化安定性を満足する電気絶縁油組成物を提供することができるため、製造コストや製造工数のロスも低減できる利点がある。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物は、以下の性状を有する。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の密閉式引火点試験法(PM)による引火点は135℃以上であり、好ましくは140℃以上であり、より好ましくは145℃以上である。電気絶縁油組成物の密閉式引火点試験法(PM)による引火点が135℃未満では、実用上の安全性基準を満足しない。
また、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の開放式引火点試験法(COC)による引火点は140℃以上であり、好ましくは145℃以上であり、より好ましくは150℃以上である。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の流動点は、-40℃以下であり、好ましくは-41℃以下であり、より好ましくは-42℃以下である。流動点が-40℃を超えると、低温条件下の性能を満足できない。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の密度は、0.895g/cm3以下であることを要する。密度が0.895g/cm3を超えると、寒冷地等において、電気絶縁油組成物中に含まれた水分が氷になったとき、氷を沈ませることができず、氷が電気絶縁油組成物中に漂い、氷が導体として作用するため、短絡の原因となる。上記観点から、電気絶縁油組成物の密度は、0.890g/cm3以下がより好ましく、0.885g/cm3以下がさらに好ましく、0.880g/cm3以下が特に好ましい。
また、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の40℃における動粘度は、5mm2/s以上15mm2/s以下であることが好ましく、より好ましくは6mm2/s以上14mm2/s以下、さらに好ましくは7mm2/s以上12mm2/s以下である。5mm2/s以上であれば、揮発性が高くなりにくく、引火点が低下することもなく、安全上問題が生じる可能性が軽減される。15mm2/s以下であれば、流動性が低くならず、装置内で循環しにくくなることを回避できるため、冷却性能に影響を与える可能性は軽減される。
100℃における動粘度は、1mm2/s以上10mm2/s以下が好ましい。100℃における動粘度がこの範囲にあると、揮発性が適切になり、安全上問題が生じることがない。当該観点から、より好ましくは1.5mm2/s以上9mm2/s以下、さらに好ましくは2mm2/s以上8mm2/s以下である。
酸価は、0.02mgKOH/g以下が好ましく、0.01mgKOH/g以下がより好ましい。
また、本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物の90℃における誘電正接の値は、0.01%以下であることが好ましい。90℃における誘電正接の値が0.01%以下であると、良好な電気絶縁特性が得られる。当該観点から、誘電正接の値は、より好ましくは0.009%以下であり、さらに好ましくは、0.008%以下である。
また、上記のような性状を有する電気絶縁油組成物は、IEC61125規格C法に基づく評価試験において、絶縁油酸化試験後のスラッジ発生量0.8%以下、酸価1.2mgKOH/g以下、90℃における誘電正接50%以下に適合することができる。
本発明に係る電気絶縁油組成物は、油入コンデンサ、油入ケーブル、油入変圧器、油遮断器等に用いられる絶縁油として使用することができる。なかでも、上記性状を有する電気絶縁油組成物は、変圧器に用いられるIEC60296の絶縁油の品質規格に適合することができる。
実施例、比較例に用いた基油は以下のものであり、これらの性状を第1表に示す。
油A:ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油
油B:水素化精製パラフィン油
油C:水素化精製パラフィン油
油D:ナフテン系水素化精製鉱油
油E:パラフィン系溶剤精製鉱油
油F:ナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油
動粘度(40℃、100℃)及び粘度指数:JIS K 2283に準拠して測定した。
密度:JIS K 2249に準拠して測定した。
引火点(開放式試験法):JIS K 2265(クリーブランド開放式、COC)に準拠して測定した。
引火点(密閉式試験法):JIS K 2265の6.(ペンスキーマルテンス密閉式引火点試験方法、PM)に準拠して測定した。
流動点:JIS K 2269に準拠して測定した。
酸価:JIS K 2501に準拠して測定した。
硫黄分:JIS K 2541に準拠して測定した。
環分析:ASTM D-3238 環分析(n-d-M法)により測定した。
上述した油A~Fを用いて、第2表の配合処方により実施例1~6及び比較例1~5の電気絶縁油組成物を調製した。調製した電気絶縁油組成物をIEC61125規格C法に基づく評価試験法により評価し、新油の密度が0.895g/cm3以下、流動点が-40℃以下、酸価0.01mgKOH/g以下、誘電正接(90℃)が0.5以下を適合とした。さらに、絶縁油酸化試験後のスラッジ量0.8%以下、酸価1.2mgKOH/g以下、誘電正接(90℃)が50%以下を適合とした。評価結果を第2表に示す。
動粘度(40℃、100℃):JIS K 2283に準拠して測定した。
密度:JIS K 2249に準拠して測定した。
引火点(開放式試験法):JIS K 2265(クリーブランド開放式、COC)に準拠して測定した。
引火点(密閉式試験法):JIS K 2265の6.(ペンスキーマルテンス密閉式引火点試験方法、PM)に準拠して測定した。
流動点:JIS K 2269に準拠して測定した。
色相:JIS K 2580(セイボルト)及びASTMD-1500(ASTM)に準拠して測定した。
酸価:JIS K 2501に準拠して測定した。
誘電正接:IEC60247に準拠して測定した。
体積抵抗率:IEC60247に準拠して測定した。
酸化安定性試験:IEC61125規格C法に基づく評価試験
第2表に示すように、上述した油A~Fを用いて、第2表の配合処方により調製された電気絶縁油組成物のうち、(A)成分として油B又は油Cのいずれかと、(B)成分としての油Aとを含む電気絶縁油組成物は、IEC61125規格C法に基づく評価試験法により評価した値が、変圧器に用いられるIEC60296の絶縁油の品質規格に適合できることが判った。
一方、比較例1では、(B)成分としての油Aが基油全体の適量な配合比を超えているため、新油の90℃の誘電正接(%)が過大になってしまい、電気絶縁特性が良好でない。また、比較例2では、(B)成分が逆に適量な配合比を下回っているため、新油の90℃の誘電正接(%)を満たしていても絶縁油酸化試験後の90℃の誘電正接(%)が過大になってしまい、電気絶縁特性は良好ではない。
比較例3では、(A)成分が欠如しているため、本評価の電気絶縁特性は良好であっても、組成物の密度が0.895g/cm3を超過する。組成物の密度が0.895g/cm3を超過すると、寒冷地で電気絶縁油組成物中の水分が凍ったときに、氷を電気絶縁油組成物中に沈ませることができなくなる。このとき、氷が油中に漂い、氷が導体として作用して短絡を起こす可能性がある。
また、比較例4では新油の流動点が-25℃と高いため、低温での流動安定性を担保できず、電気絶縁油組成物としての機能を発揮できない。比較例5では、(B)成分が含まれないため、新油の90℃の誘電正接(%)が過大になってしまい、電気絶縁特性が良好でない。
Claims (6)
- (A)水素化精製鉱油及び合成炭化水素油から選ばれる1種以上と、
(B)n-d-M法による環分析におけるナフテン分の炭素数の割合(%CN)が50%以上70%以下であり、酸価が0.03mgKOH/g以下であり、硫黄分が0.1質量%以下であるナフテン系溶剤精製鉱油とを基油として含み、
(B)成分が基油全量基準で50質量%以上70質量%以下含まれ、
密閉式引火点試験方法による引火点が135℃以上であり、流動点が-40℃以下であり、密度が0.895g/cm3以下である電気絶縁油組成物。 - さらに、酸化防止剤を配合してなる請求項1に記載の電気絶縁油組成物。
- (B)成分における硫黄分が0.08質量%以下である請求項1又は2に記載の電気絶縁油組成物。
- 電気絶縁油組成物の90℃における誘電正接の値が0.01%以下である請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電気絶縁油組成物。
- IEC61125規格C法に基づく評価試験後の90℃における誘電正接の値が50%以下である請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の電気絶縁油組成物。
- 変圧器に用いられる請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の電気絶縁油組成物。
