Abstract

 掘削ツース取付け体(15)は、アダプタ(20)と掘削ツース(30)リテーナアッセンブリ(40)を備える。アダプタ(20)は、掘削ツース(30)と対向する前面(21S1)に形成される第1凹部(21T1)と前面(21S1)から突出する挿入部(22)とを有する。掘削ツース(30)は、アダプタ(20)の前面(21S1)と対向する背面(31S5)に形成される第1凸部(31T1)と、挿入部(22)が挿入される挿入穴(32)と、リテーナアッセンブリ(40)を挿通するための第1及び第2軸孔(36,37)とを有する。第1凸部(31T1)は、第1凹部(21T1)に挿入される。背面(31S5)は、一対の長辺と一対の短辺からなる矩形の外縁を有する。第1及び第2軸孔(36,37)は、一対の長辺に沿って形成される。第1凸部(31T1)の外周面(Q1)は、凹部の内底面(R1)及び内側面(R2)から離間する。

Description

掘削ツース取付け体及び掘削ツース
 本発明は、作業機械に用いられる掘削ツース取付け体及び掘削ツースに関する。
 油圧ショベルなどの作業機械は、一般的にバケットやリッパなどの掘削具を備えている。掘削具、例えばバケットの先端には、凸状部位を持つアダプタが固定される。切刃であるツースは挿入穴を有し、その挿入穴にアダプタの凸状部位を挿入することにより、掘削ツースはアダプタ、すなわち、バケットに取り付けられる。(例えば、特許文献1参照)。掘削ツースは、使用に伴い内面及び外面が摩耗するので、適宜交換される。

(発明が解決しようとする課題)
 上述の通り掘削ツースはその内面が摩耗する。これは、掘削ツースに外力が働いた場合、(i)アダプタと掘削ツースとの間に大きな応力が発生すること、(ii)掘削ツースはアダプタに対しわずかに揺動可能であること、(iii)アダプタと掘削ツースの当接面に土砂等が侵入すること、からアダプタとツースとの当接面が摩耗することに依る。そして、アダプタとツースの当接面が摩耗すれば、ツースが更に揺動しやすくなる。揺動が大きくなると、当接面は更に摩耗しやすくなり、摩耗促進の悪循環が生じる。その結果、部品寿命が短くなる。
 本発明は、上述の状況に鑑みてなされたものであり、摩耗や揺動を抑制可能な掘削ツース取付け体及び掘削ツースを提供することを目的とする。
(課題を解決するための手段)
 本発明の第1態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体は、アダプタと、アダプタに挿入される掘削ツースと、掘削ツースをアダプタに保持させるリテーナアッセンブリと、を備える。アダプタは、掘削ツースと対向する前面と、前面に形成される凹部と、前面から突出する挿入部と、挿入部に形成されリテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための挿通孔と、を有する。掘削ツースは、アダプタの前面と対向する背面と、背面に形成され、凹部に挿入される凸部と、背面に形成され、挿入部が挿入される挿入穴と、挿入穴の両側に形成され、リテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための一対の軸孔と、を有する。背面は、一対の長辺と一対の短辺からなる矩形の外縁を有する。一対の軸孔は、一対の長辺に沿って形成される。凸部の外周面は、外周面に対向する凹部の内底面及び内側面から離間している。
 本発明の第1態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体によれば、リテーナアッセンブリによる保持部位を支点とする掘削ツースのアダプタに対する揺動が小さい時は、凸部の底面と側面よりなる外周面とその外周面に対向する凹部の内面とは接触しない。一方、当接面の摩耗が進み、掘削ツースのアダプタに対する揺動が大きくなると、凸部の外周面と凹部の内面とが当接して、揺動及び摩耗の進行を抑制することができる。
 本発明の第2態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体は、第1態様に係り、凹部の内底面と凸部の外周面との間隔は、凸部の先端側に向かうほど大きい。
 本発明の第2態様に係る掘削ツースによれば、掘削ツースのうちアダプタに当接する部分の摩耗が進むに従い、アダプタに当接する部分が凸部の基端側から先端側へ漸次移行して、揺動及び摩耗の進行を抑制することができる。
 本発明の第3態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体は、第1態様又は第2態様に係り、掘削ツースの背面は、外縁が長辺と短辺とからなる矩形である。その背面の長辺の側に凸部が形成される。
 本発明の第3態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体によれば、ツース背面の長辺側にある凸部によってツース背面長手方向のアダプタに対する揺動を止めることができるので、揺動長さの増大を効果的に抑制できる。
 本発明の第4態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体は、第1乃至第3のいずれかの態様に係り、凸部は、一対の軸孔から離間している。
 本発明の第4態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体では、凸部に軸孔が形成される場合に比べて、凸部が凹部に対して揺動しやすく両者が摩耗しやすいところ、凸部の外周面と凹部の内面とが当接することによって揺動及び摩耗の進行を効果的に抑制することができる。
 本発明の第5態様に係る掘削ツースは、リテーナアッセンブリによってアダプタに保持される掘削ツースである。掘削ツースは、ツース本体と、凸部と、挿入穴と、リテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための一対の軸孔とを備える。ツース本体は、一対の長辺と一対の短辺からなる矩形の外縁を有する背面を持つ。凸部は、掘削ツース本体の背面の一対の長辺の側に形成される。挿入穴は、背面に形成され、アダプタが挿入される。一対の軸孔は、挿入穴の両側に形成される。凸部は、先細の断面形状を有する。一対の軸孔は、一対の長辺に沿って形成されている。
 本発明の第5態様に係る掘削ツースによれば、掘削具取り付けに際して、ツースの挿通孔内のみならず背面の凸部においてもアダプタと当接できるので、ツースとアダプタの当接面での摩耗や遊びの増大を抑制できる。また、凸部が背面の長辺側にあるので、掘削ツースのアダプタに対する揺動を効果的に抑制できる。
 本発明の第6態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体は、第5の態様に係り、凸部は、一対の軸孔から離間している。
 本発明の第6態様に係る掘削ツース取付け体では、凸部に軸孔が形成される場合に比べて、凸部が凹部に対して揺動しやすく両者が摩耗しやすいところ、凸部の外周面と凹部の内面とが当接することによって揺動及び摩耗の進行を効果的に抑制することができる。
 本発明の第7態様に係る掘削ツースは、第5又は第6態様に係り、凸部は掘削ツース本体の背面の長辺の側の中心に形成される。
 本発明の第7態様に係る掘削ツースによれば、凸部が掘削ツース幅方向の中央にあるので、幅方向の揺動の向きの違いに影響を受けずに掘削ツースの揺動を抑制できる。
 本発明の第8態様に係る掘削ツースは、第5乃至第7のいずれかの態様に係り、凹部が挿入穴の底部に設けられる。凹部の幅は、挿入穴の底部の幅より短い。
 本発明の第8態様に係る掘削ツースによれば、掘削ツースとアダプタの当接面に侵入した土砂等が凹部に移動できるので、摩耗を抑制できる。
(発明の効果)
 本発明によれば、摩耗や揺動を抑制可能な掘削ツース取付け体及び掘削ツースを提供することができる。

 以下において、図面を参照しながら実施形態について説明する。以下の実施形態では、掘削具の一例として、油圧ショベルなどの作業機械に用いられる掘削バケット100について説明する。
 (バケット100の全体構成)
 図1及び図2は、バケット100の斜視図である。図1及び図2に示すように、バケット100は、バケット本体10と、複数の掘削ツース取付け体15と、を備える。
 バケット本体10は、第1側壁11と、第2側壁12と、ラッパー13と、を有する。第1側壁11と第2側壁12は、互いに対向する。第1側壁11及び第2側壁12のそれぞれは、側面視において、略円弧と弦とで囲まれる形状を持つ平板である。ラッパー13は、第1側壁11と第2側壁12の略円弧に沿って配置される曲板である。ラッパー13と、第1側壁11、第2側壁12とは溶接により固着される。ラッパー13は、下縁部13a(すなわち、バケット先端部)を含む。下縁部13aは、一般的にリップと呼ばれる。第1側壁11、第2側壁12及びラッパー13は、土砂を収容するための収容空間10Vを形成する。
 複数の掘削ツース取付け体15(以下、ツース取付け体と略す)それぞれは、アダプタ20と、掘削ツース30(以下、ツースと略す)と、リテーナアッセンブリ40と、によって構成される。
 複数のアダプタ20は、バケット本体10のラッパー13の下縁部13aに所定間隔で固定される。アダプタ20は、下縁部13aに溶接されていてもよい。長時間の使用によって摩耗したアダプタ20は、下縁部13aから取り外され、新品のアダプタ20に交換される。本実施形態では、アダプタ20のうちラッパー13に固定される側をアダプタ20の基端とし、基端の反対側をアダプタ20の先端とする。
 ツース30は、アダプタ20の先端に取り付けられる。ツース30は、爪状の外形を有しており、先端に向かって徐々に薄くなるように形成されている。ツース30の最先端は、掘削時に、切刃として働く。長時間の使用によって摩耗したツース30は、アダプタ20から取り外され、新品のツース30に交換される。本実施形態では、ツース30のうち切刃のある側をツース30の先端とし、アダプタ20に取り付けられる側をツース30の基端とする。
 リテーナアッセンブリ40は、アダプタ20にツース30を取り付けるために用いられる。リテーナアッセンブリ40は、アダプタ20及びツース30の内部に収容される。リテーナアッセンブリ40を分解することによって、アダプタ20から摩耗したツース30を取り外すことができる。
 (ツース取付け体15の構成)
 図3は、ツース取付け体15の上面図である。図4は、ツース取付け体15の側面図である。図5は、ツース取付け体15の分解斜視図である。図6は、ツース30の斜視図である。なお、以下の説明では、図3及び図4に示すように、ツース本体31が延びる方向(すなわち、ツース30の基端と先端を結ぶ方向)を“第1方向”と称し、ツース本体31が平たく延びる方向を“第2方向”と称し、第1方向と第2方向に直交する方向を“第3方向”と称する。ツース本体31の第2方向が、掘削ツース30の幅方向となる。
 図5に示すように、アダプタ20は、固定部21と、挿入部22と、を有する。固定部21は、アダプタ20の基端側が二股に分かれることによって形成される。固定部21は、バケット本体10の下縁部13aを挟み込んでいる。固定部21は、溶接などにより下縁部13aに固定される。
 固定部21は、図3~図5に示すように、前面21S1と、上面21S2と、下面21S3と、第1凹部21T1と、第2凹部21T2と、を有する。前面21S1は、ツース30がアダプタ20に取り付けられた際にツース30と対向する。上面21S2は、前面21S1に連なる。下面21S3は、前面21S1に連なり、上面21S2の反対に設けられる。
 第1凹部21T1は、前面21S1及び上面21S2に形成される。第1凹部21T1は、前面21S1及び上面21S2に連なって開口する。第1凹部21T1には、後述するツース30の第1凸部31T1が挿入される。
 第2凹部21T2は、前面21S1及び下面21S3に形成される。第2凹部21T2は、前面21S1及び下面21S3に連なって開口する。第2凹部21T2には、後述するツース30の第2凸部31T2が挿入される。
 第1凹部21T1に第1凸部31T1が挿入され、第2凹部21T2に第2凸部31T2が挿入されることによって、第2方向におけるツース30の揺動が抑制される。ただし、このような固定部21には、第1凸部31T1及び第2凸部31T2を備えない従来周知のツースも取り付けることができる。
 挿入部22は、固定部21の前面21S1から突出する。挿入部22は、後述するツース本体30の挿入穴32(図6参照)に挿入される。挿入部22は、図3~図5に示すように、第1側面22S1と、第2側面22S2と、上面22S3と、下面22S4と、先端面22S5と、挿通孔22aと、を有する。第1側面22S1と第2側面22S2は、互いに反対側に設けられる。上面22S3と下面22S4は、互いに反対側に設けられる。先端面22S5は、第1側面22S1、第2側面22S2、上面22S3及び下面22S4に連なる。本実施形態において、先端面22S5は、上面22S3から下面22S4にかけて滑らかに湾曲しているが、これに限られるものではない。先端面22S5は、例えば平面であってもよい。挿通孔22aは、挿入部22を第1側面22S1から第2側面22S2まで貫通している。挿通孔22aには、後述するリテーナアッセンブリ40のピン41が挿通される。
 図6は、ツース30を基端側から視た図である。ツース30は、図6に示すように、ツース本体31と、挿入穴32と、サインポケット33(穴部)と、第1延在穴34と、第2延在穴35と、第1軸孔36と、第2軸孔37と、第1凸部31Tと、第2凸部31Tと、を有する。
 ツース本体31は、図3及び図4に示すように、第2方向及び第3方向において先細り形状に形成されている。また、ツース本体31は、図6に示すように、コップ型に形成されている。
 ツース本体31は、図6に示すように、第1内側面31S1と、第2内側面31S2と、内上面31S3と、内下面31S4と、背面31S5(外表面の一例)と、第1凸部31T1と、第2凸部31T2と、第1支持部101と、第2支持部102と、を有する。
 第1内側面31S1は、挿入部22の第1側面22S1と対向する。第1内側面31S1と第1側面22S1との間には、微少な間隙が設けられていてもよい。第2内側面31S2は、挿入部22の第2側面22S2と対向する。第2内側面31S2と第2側面22S2との間には、微少な間隙が設けられていてもよい。内上面31S3は、挿入部22の上面22S3に当接される。内下面31S4は、挿入部22の下面22S4に当接される。
 背面31Sは、ツース本体31の基端面である。背面31Sは、外縁に一対の長辺と一対の短辺とからなる矩形形状の端面を有し、その端面の内側に挿入穴32が形成されている。アダプタ20に挿入された状態では、ツース30の背面31Sの長辺の方向(第2方向)はバケット本体10の下縁部13aと略平行であり、短辺の方向(第3方向)は下縁部13aと交差する方向である。背面31S5は、固定部21の前面21S1と対向する。背面31S5と前面21S1との間には、間隙が設けられていてもよい。
 一対の第1凸部31Tと第2凸部31Tは、掘削ツース本体31の背面31Sの一対の長辺のそれぞれの側に形成される。
 第1凸部31T1は、背面31S5の外縁長辺側の端面から突出して形成される矩形板状の部位である。第1凸部31T1の厚さは、背面31Sと略同じである。第1凸部31Tは、背面31Sの外縁長辺側端面の第2方向での中心に位置する。第1凸部31T1は、固定部21の第1凹部21T1に挿入される。第2凸部31T2は、挿入穴32を挟んで第1凸部31T1の反対側において背面31S5の外縁長辺側の端面から突出する。第2凸部31T2は、固定部21の第2凹部21T2に挿入される。第2凸部31Tは第1凸部Tと略同じ形状をもち、同じく長辺側端面の中心に位置している。
 ここで、図4に示すように、第1凸部31T1は、先端に向かってテーパー状に形成されている。そのため、第1凸部31T1を第3方向に切断した場合、第1凸部31T1の断面形状は、先端に向かって先細である。そして、第1凸部31T1の外周面Q1は、第1凹部21T1の内底面R1から離間している。内底面R1と外周面Q1との間隔は、第1凸部31T1の先端側に向かうほど大きい。すなわち、内底面R1と外周面Q1との間隔は、第1凸部31T1の先端側が基端側よりも大きい。また、外周面Q1は、第1凹部21T1の内側面R2からも離間している。同様に、第2凸部31T2は、先端に向かってテーパー状に形成されている。そして、第2凸部31T2の外周面Q2は、第2凹部21T2の内底面R3から離間している。内底面R3と外周面Q2との間隔は、第2凸部31Tの先端側に向かうほど大きい。すなわち、内底面R3と外周面Q2との間隔は、第2凸部31Tの先端側が基端側よりも大きい。また、外周面Q2は、第2凹部21T2の内側面R4からも離間している。
 第1支持部101と第2支持部102は、そのツース本体31の基端面から最も浅い部位が挿入穴32の最深部を形成する。第1支持部101と第2支持部102との間にサインポケット33が形成されている。サインポケット33は、挿入穴32の底部に形成される穴部で、ツース本体31の長手方向において、挿入穴32の底部の幅より短い幅を持つ。
 第1支持部101は、第1支持面101Sを有する。第1支持面101Sは、挿入穴32の底面の一部を形成している。第1支持面101Sは、挿入部22の先端面22S5と対向する。第1支持面101Sと先端面22S5との間には、微少な間隙が設けられていてもよい。
 第2支持部102は、第2支持面102Sを有する。第2支持面102Sは、挿入穴32の底面の一部を形成している。第2支持面102Sは、挿入部22の先端面22S5と対向する。第2支持面102Sと先端面22S5との間には、微少な間隙が設けられていてもよい。
 ここで、図7は、ツース取付け体15の上面透視図である。図7では、掘削作業に相当時間使用されたツース30及びアダプタ20が図示されている。また、図7では、ツース30に外力Fが働いており、第2方向においてツース30がアダプタ20に対して揺動している。
 図7に示すように、ツース本体31の第1内側面31S1と挿入部22の第1側面22S1とが、ポイントXにおいて当接する。また、ツース本体31の第2支持面102Sと挿入部22の先端面22S5とが、ポイントYにおいて当接する。さらに、第1凸部31T1の外周面Q1と第1凹部21T1の内側面R2とが、ポイントZにおいて当接する。一方で、ツース本体31の第2内側面31S2と挿入部22の第2側面22S2とは、互いに離間している。
 このように、挿入部22に対して傾いたツース30は、アダプタ20によって3点支持されている。特に、外周面Q1が内側面R2に当接することで、第2内側面31S2と第2側面22S2が離間している。そして、外周面Q1が内側面R2に当接するポイントZは、第1方向において、第2内側面31S2が第2側面22S2に当接する仮想上のポイント(ポイントXとポイントZの間)よりもポイントXから離間している。従って、第2内側面31S2が第2側面22S2に当接する場合に比べて、ツース30とアダプタ20との間にかかる応力を小さくすることができる。
 なお、図示しないが、図7とは反対側にツース30が傾いた場合には、ツース本体31の第2内側面31S2と挿入部22の第2側面22S2とが当接し、ツース本体31の第1支持面101Sと挿入部22の先端面22S5とが当接し、第1凸部31T1の外周面Q1と第1凹部21T1の内側面R2とが当接する。この場合、ツース本体31の第1内側面31S1と挿入部22の第1側面22S1とは、互いに離間する。この場合においても、上記と同様に、ツース30とアダプタ20との間にかかる応力を小さくすることができる。
 挿入穴32は、図6に示すように、ツース本体31の背面31S5に形成される。挿入穴32は、アダプタ20の挿入部22を挿入するための穴である。挿入穴32は、アダプタ20の外形に対応した先細り形状に形成されている。挿入穴32の底面は、第1支持面101S及び第2支持面102Sである。また、挿入穴32の側面は、第1内側面31S1、第2内側面31S2、内上面31S3及び内下面31S4である。
 サインポケット33(穴部)は、図6に示すように、挿入穴32の底面に形成されている。すなわち、サインポケット33は、挿入穴32の奥に連なるように形成されている。サインポケット33は、ツース本体31の第1支持部101と第2支持部102の間に形成される。換言すれば、サインポケット33は、第1支持部101と第2支持部102との間隙である。
 ここで、サインポケット33の機能について、図8を参照して説明する。図8は、図4のA-A断面図である。図8では、掘削作業に相当時間使用されたツース30及びアダプタ20が図示されており、第2方向においてツース30がアダプタ20に対して揺動している。
 まず、サインポケット33は、アダプタ20とツース30との隙間から侵入した土砂を収容する機能を有する。これによって、アダプタ20とツース30との間、具体的には、挿入部22と第1支持部101及び第2支持部102との間に侵入した土砂が挟まれることを抑制できる。第1支持部101及び第2支持部102の間に土砂が挟まれると、両支持部およびその周辺の摩耗が促進されて、ツース30のガタつきが大きくなる。ガタつきが大きくなると、摩耗は更に促進され、ツース30及びアダプタ20の寿命を短くする。サインポケット33は、上述の通り、土砂の侵入を抑制するので、ツース30及びアダプタ20の挿入部の摩耗を抑制できる。
 また、図8の破線は、ツース30が摩耗していく様子を仮想的に示す摩耗ラインである。図8に示すように、初期段階でツース30の先端両側が摩耗により欠損された後、ツース30の先端は全体的に同程度の速さで摩耗する。さらに摩耗が進行すると、サインポケット33がツース30の先端に露出する。オペレータは、ツース30の先端にサインポケット33が露出したこと、すなわち、ツース30の先端に孔が開いたことを確認して、ツース30の使用寿命が近づいたことを認識する。なお、サインポケット33は、通常の使用環境において第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35よりも先に露出するように設計されていることが好ましい。サインポケット33と第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35との位置関係については後述する。
 第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35は、挿入穴32の一部である(図9参照)。第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35は、第1支持部101及び第2支持部102の第2方向両側に形成される。具体的に、第1延在穴34は、第1支持部101を挟んでサインポケット33の反対側に形成される。第2延在穴35は、第2支持部102を挟んでサインポケット33の反対側に形成される。第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35それぞれは、サインポケット33よりも浅くかつ狭い。このような第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35は、アダプタ20の角部分(すなわち、アダプタ20先端の第2方向における両端部分)が挿入穴32の内壁に当たらないように設けられている。特に、ツース30がアダプタ20に対して傾いた場合においても、アダプタ20の角部分がツース30の内壁に当たらないことが好ましい(図8参照)。
 第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37(一対の軸孔の一例)それぞれは、図8に示すように、ツース本体31を貫通する。第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37それぞれは、挿入穴32に繋がっている。第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37は、第2方向に沿って一直線上に形成されている。すなわち、第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37は、背面31Sの外縁を構成する長辺に沿って形成されている。そのため、第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37は、第1凸部31T1及び第2凸部31T2から離間している。図8では、第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37の中心線AXが一点鎖線で図示されている。図8に示すように、第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37には、リテーナアッセンブリ40の両端部が収容される。
 リテーナアッセンブリ40は、図5に示すように、ピン41と、ボルト42と、ワッシャ43と、ブシュ44と、を有する。ピン41は、図8に示すように、挿入部22の挿通孔22aに挿通される。本実施形態では、ピン41の中心軸は、第1軸孔36及び第2軸孔37の中心線AXと略一致している。ボルト42は、ワッシャ43及びブシュ44を介して、ピン41の一端部に固定される。ワッシャ43及びブシュ44は、第1軸孔36の内側に収容される。ツース30がアダプタ20に挿入した状態で、ピン41をアダプタ20の挿通孔22aに挿通してリテーナアッセンブリ40を組み立てることにより、ツース30はアダプタ20に保持される。本実施形態では、リテーナアッセンブリ40は上記の構成を有するが、本発明のリテーナアッセンブリはこれに限定されるものではなく、一般に知られる多様なリテーナアッセンブリを適用可能である。
 (アダプタ20とツース30の位置関係)
 次に、アダプタ20とツース30の位置関係について、図面を参照しながら説明する。図9は、図4のA-A断面図である。ただし、図9では、図8と異なり、第2方向においてツース30がアダプタ20に対して揺動していない状態が図示されている。
 図9では、第1支持部101と第2支持部102の中心線AX上の中央位置が“基準点P”として図示されている。すなわち、基準点Pは、中心線AX上におけるツース本体31の第2方向中心である。
 図9に示すように、基準点Pとサインポケット33の最深部との間隔m1は、基準点Pと第2延在穴35の最深部との間隔m2よりも大きい。図示しないが、基準点Pと第1延在穴34の最深部との間隔は、基準点Pと第2延在穴35の最深部との間隔m2と同程度である。第1延在穴34又は第2延在穴35の最深部は、挿入穴32の最深部の一例である。間隔m1は、間隔m2の1.05倍以上であることが好ましく、1.10倍以上であることがより好ましい。
 また、図9に示すように、挿入部22の先端と第1支持部101及び第2支持部102との微少な間隔n1は、中心線AXと第1支持部101及び第2支持部102との間隔n2の5%以下であることが好ましく、2%以下であることがより好ましい。
 (作用及び効果)
 (1)アダプタ20は、前面21S1に形成される第1凹部21T1を有し、ツース30は、背面31S5に形成される第1凸部31T1を有する。第1凸部31T1は、第1凹部21T1に挿入される。
 従って、図7に示すように、ツース30に外力Fが働いた場合、ポイントZにおいて第1凸部31T1の外周面Q1と第1凹部21T1の内側面R2とが当接する。そのため、第2内側面31S2が第2側面22S2に当接する場合に比べて、ツース30とアダプタ20との間にかかる応力を小さくすることができる。その結果、アダプタ20とツース30の摩耗が抑制されるため、ツース30がアダプタ20に対して揺動することを抑制することができる。
 (2)第1凸部31T1の外周面Q1は、第1凹部21T1の内底面R1及び内側面R2(内面の一例)から離間している。従って、外周面Q1と内底面R1及び内側面R2との間に隙間が存在する。そのため、ツース30に外力Fが働いていない場合に、外周面Q1が内底面R1及び内側面R2に当接することを抑制できる。その結果、アダプタ20とツース30の掘削使用履歴が短く、アダプタ20に対するツース30のガタつきが小さい場合において、第1凸部31T1が破損することを抑制できる。
 (他の実施形態)
 本発明は以上のような実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の範囲を逸脱することなく種々の変形又は修正が可能である。
 例えば、上記実施形態では、掘削具の一例としてバケット100について説明したが、これに限られるものではない。掘削具としては、ブルドーザなどに取り付けられるリッパなどが挙げられる。
 また、上記実施形態では、ツース30の挿入穴32は、第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35を有することとしたが、これに限られるものではない。図10に示すように、挿入穴32は、第1延在穴34及び第2延在穴35を有していなくてもよい。この場合、第1支持部101と第1内側面31S1との角、及び第2支持部102と第2内側面31S2との角が、挿入穴32の最深部となる。
 また、上記実施形態では、ツース本体31は、背面31S長辺の端面に第1凸部31T1及び第2凸部31T2を有することとしたが、これに限られるものではない。ツース本体31は、第1凸部31T1及び第2凸部31T2を有していなくてもよく、第1凸部31T1及び第2凸部31T2の一方だけを有していてもよい。あるいは、長辺端面に加え、短辺端面に更に凸部を設けてもよい。
 本発明によれば、摩耗や揺動を抑制可能な掘削ツース取付け体及び掘削ツースを提供することができるので、作業機械分野において有用である。

Claims (8)

  1.  アダプタと、
     前記アダプタに挿入される掘削ツースと、
     前記掘削ツースを前記アダプタに保持させるリテーナアッセンブリと、
    を備え、
     前記アダプタは、前記掘削ツースと対向する前面と、前記前面に形成される凹部と、前記前面から突出する挿入部と、前記挿入部に形成され前記リテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための挿通孔と、を有し、
     前記掘削ツースは、前記アダプタの前記前面と対向する背面と、前記背面に形成され前記凹部に挿入される凸部と、前記背面に形成され前記挿入部が挿入される挿入穴と、前記挿入穴の両側に形成され前記リテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための一対の軸孔と、を有し、
     前記背面は、一対の長辺と一対の短辺からなる矩形の外縁を有し、
     前記一対の軸孔は、前記一対の長辺に沿って形成されており、
     前記凸部の外周面は、前記外周面に対向する前記凹部の内底面及び内側面から離間している、
    掘削ツース取付け体。
  2.  前記凹部の前記内底面と前記凸部の前記外周面との間隔は、前記凸部の先端側に向かうほど大きい、
    請求項1に記載の掘削ツース取付け体
  3.  前記凸部は前記背面の前記長辺の側に形成される、
     請求項1又は2に記載の掘削ツース取付け体。
  4.  前記凸部は、前記一対の軸孔から離間している、
    請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の掘削ツース取付け体。
  5.  リテーナアッセンブリによってアダプタに保持される掘削ツースであって、
     一対の長辺と一対の短辺からなる矩形の外縁を有する背面を持つ掘削ツース本体と、
     前記掘削ツース本体の背面の前記一対の長辺の側に形成される凸部と、
     前記背面に形成され前記アダプタが挿入される挿入穴と、
     前記挿入穴の両側に形成され、前記リテーナアッセンブリを挿通するための一対の軸孔と、
    を備え、
     前記凸部は、先細の断面形状を有し、
     前記一対の軸孔は、前記一対の長辺に沿って形成されている、
    掘削ツース。
  6.  前記凸部は、前記一対の軸孔から離間している、
     請求項5に記載の掘削ツース。
  7.  前記凸部は前記掘削ツース本体の前記背面の前記長辺の側の中心に形成される、
     請求項5又は6に記載の掘削ツース。
  8.  前記挿入穴の底部に設けられ、前記挿入穴の前記底部の幅より短い幅を有する穴部を、更に備える、
     請求項5乃至7のいずれかに記載の掘削ツース。
