Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine adaptive Exzenterschneckenpumpe (2), welche bei Bedarf eine Erhöhung der Förderleistung, des Druckes und/oder die gleichzeitige Förderung von mehr als einem Fördermedium ermöglicht und wobei die Exzenterschneckenpumpe (2) einen vergleichsweise geringen Energieverbrauch aufweist und deren Herstellungs- und Wartungsaufwand gering gehalten wird. Dazu ist erfindungsgemäß die Exzenterschneckenpumpe (2) mit einem modularen Fördersystem ausgestattet, enthaltend mindestens zwei jeweils einen Rotor (10) und einen Stator (8) umfassende Fördermodule (4, 6, 38, 40), wobei die Fördermodule (4, 6, 38, 40) miteinander gekoppelt sind und dem Fördersystem lediglich eine Antriebsvorrichtung (14) zugeordnet ist und wobei das Fördersystem für ein Fördermedium mehr als einen Ein- und/oder Ausgang (18, 24) oder mindestens ein modulares Durchströmungsgehäuse (12) aufweist.
