- the present invention relates to a vehicle seat, and more particularly, to a vehicle seat that has a followability to the body of an occupant and is excellent in a seating feeling.
- a seat cushion that supports an occupant's buttocks and thighs is formed by placing a cushion pad on a cushion frame and covering the skin.
- various proposals have been made to improve the seating feeling of the occupant.
- a technique for improving the seating feeling of the seat cushion for example, a technique for attenuating vibration transmitted from a vehicle body is known (for example, Patent Document 1).
- the seat cushion described in Patent Document 1 includes a substantially rectangular plate-shaped pan frame serving as a skeleton, and a plurality of elastic springs that connect the rear portion of the pan frame in the left-right direction.
- the front part of the pan frame is a position that supports the thigh of the occupant to be seated and is formed in a flat plate shape
- the rear part is a position that supports the buttocks of the occupant and includes a recess that is recessed downward. It becomes the composition.
- the elastic spring is disposed above the recess that supports the occupant's buttocks, and is disposed at a height substantially the same as the front portion of the pan frame. Therefore, this seat cushion can obtain a good cushion property due to the elastic deformation of the elastic spring and the cushion pad, and can relieve the vibration transmitted from the vehicle body as the vehicle travels.
- the seat cushion as in Patent Document 1 is arranged so that the front portion of the pan frame and the elastic spring are on the same horizontal plane, but the front portion of the pan frame and the arrangement of the elastic spring in the front-rear direction There was no particular consideration. For this reason, if the distance between the front portion of the pan frame and the elastic spring is increased, the seated passenger may be uncomfortable. Accordingly, there has been a demand for a seat cushion that further enhances the seating feeling while maintaining high followability of the elastic spring for the seated occupant. At the same time, there has been a demand for a vehicle seat that is further reduced in weight and size in consideration of the arrangement of the pan frame and the elastic spring.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat that has high followability to a seated occupant and further improves the seating feeling. Another object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat that is light and compact and has a good seating feeling.
- the subject includes a seat cushion having a cushion frame serving as a skeleton, and the cushion frame connects a side frame disposed on the left and right sides and a front portion of the side frame.
- an occupant support member that connects the side frames at the rear of the pan frame, and the front-rear distance between the rear end of the pan frame and the front end of the occupant support member is This is solved by being smaller than the front-rear distance between the front end portion and the rear end portion of the occupant support member.
