Abstract
透明導電部、非導電部及び配線を適切に保護しつつ、光学性能に優れた透明導電膜を提供する。透明導電膜20は、透明基板21と、透明基板の両面側に設けられる光学調整層22及び23と、光学調整層の上に設けられる透明導電層8及び9と、透明導電層8及び9に接続される配線10及び11と、透明導電層及び配線を被覆する保護層14とを備える。保護層14の厚みは1μm以上50μm以下である。また、透明導電膜20における配線10及び11がない部分の透過色相b*が1.5以下である。
Description
本発明は、静電容量方式のタッチパネルに適した透明導電膜、該透明導電膜の製造に適した透明導電膜の製造方法、および、該透明導電膜を用いたタッチパネルに関する。
近年、入力デバイスとして、タッチパネルが用いられている。タッチパネルは、表示画面上の表示部位を触れることで機器を操作することができる入力デバイスである。タッチパネルとしては、抵抗膜方式、静電容量方式、などの形式が知られている。
抵抗膜方式は、対向する2枚の抵抗膜を備える方式である。片方の抵抗膜に電圧をかけた状態で抵抗膜が押圧されると、押圧された抵抗膜側が対向した抵抗膜に接することで、押圧した位置に対応する電圧降下が検知される。これにより、操作した場所を検知することができる。
静電容量方式は、指先などの静電的な導電性の部位と、導電膜との間での静電容量の変化を捉えて、指先などの位置を検出する方式である。表示画面上に透明導電部と非導電部を配置することにより、指先が透明導電部に近づくときの静電容量の変化から、指先の位置を検知することができる。また、静電容量方式では、異なる配線形状の透明導電膜を重ねることで、多点検出が可能であり、より直感的な操作の実現が可能である。
上述のようなタッチパネルでは、意匠上の要請などから、透明導電部と非導電部の形状を目立たなくする不可視対策が求められている。また、タッチパネルの導電膜や配線の保護が求められている。その際に、全光線透過率やヘイズ、透過色相b*といった光学特性が求められる。
例えば、静電容量式タッチパネルにおいて、視認性を向上させたタッチパネル向け透明導電膜が提案されている(特許文献1参照)。
静電容量方式のタッチパネルとしては、透明導電部と非導電部を不可視に形成し、透明導電膜の導電部、非導電部、及び配線部を保護した両面導電膜構成のものがなかった。
そこで、本発明は上述の問題を解決するためになされたものであり、透明導電部、非導電部、及び配線部を適切に保護しつつ、光学特性に優れた透明導電膜を提供することを目的とする。
本発明に係る透明導電膜は、透明基板と、透明基板の両面側に設けられる光学調整層と、光学調整層のそれぞれの上に設けられる透明導電層と、透明導電層に接続される配線と、透明導電膜の少なくとも一方の面側に設けられ、透明導電層及び配線を被覆する保護層とを備える。保護層の厚みが1μm以上50μm以下である。基板層と、光学調整層と、透明導電層と、保護層とで第1の多層構造が構成されており、第1の多層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*が1.5以下である。
また、本発明に係るタッチパネルは、上記の透明導電膜を備える。
本発明に係る透明導電膜の製造方法においては、透明基板の両面に、透明導電部と非導電部とを形成し、透明導電部に接続される配線部を形成し、透明導電膜の少なくとも一方の面側に、透明導電部を被覆する保護層を形成する。
本発明の透明導電膜は、少なくとも一方の面に保護層を形成することで、タッチパネルに用いた際に傷による断線などから保護することが出来き、かつ透過色相b*も抑えて作成することができる。よって、導電膜面が保護された静電容量方式のタッチパネルを提供することが出来る。
以下、実施の形態に係る透明導電膜について説明を行う。

透明導電膜20は、透明基板21と、透明基板21の両面側にそれぞれに設けられる光学調整層22、23と、光学調整層22、23上にそれぞれ設けられる透明導電層8、9と、透明導電層8、9にそれぞれ接続される配線10、11と、透明導電膜20の一方面側において透明導電層8及び配線10を被覆する保護層14とを備える。
本実施形態においては、透明基板21は、基材1と、基材1の両面に設けられるハードコート層2、3とから構成されている。
基材1は、可視光の透過性を有する材料で形成される。基材には、例えば、(1)無機ガラス、(2)ポリオレフィン(ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンなど)、ポリエステル(ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレートなど)、ポリアミド(ナイロン6、ナイロン66など)、ポリイミド、ポリアリレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリアクリレート、ポリエーテルサルフォン、ポリサルフォンなどの透明樹脂を用いてもよい。また、基材1は、上記に例示した透明樹脂を無延伸・延伸させたプラスチックフィルムであってもよい。また、基材1は、複数の材料が積層された複合フィルムであってもよい。
また、基材1の厚みは、10μm以上200μm以下程度の範囲内にあることが好ましい。ただし、本発明の透明導電膜20において、基材1の厚みはこの範囲に限定されるものではない。
また、基材1の片面または両面に表面処理を行ってもよい。表面処理を行うことにより、基材1の表面に積層される層を強固に接着することが出来る。表面処理には、例えば、易接着処理、プラズマ処理、コロナ処理、オゾン処理、などの方法を用いることができる。
ハードコート層2、3は、基材1の表面に設けられ、基材1の機械強度、耐擦性、などを向上させる。ハードコート層2、3に用いる材料としては、可視光の透過性を有する材料を利用できる。例えば、(1)アクリル酸エステル類、アクリルアミド類、メタクリル酸エステル類、メタクリルアミド類等のアクリル系樹脂、(2)有機珪素系樹脂、(3)熱硬化型ポリシロキサン樹脂などの透明樹脂をハードコート層2、3の材料として用いてよい。
ハードコート層2、3の形成方法としては、ハードコート層2、3の形成材料に応じた薄膜形成方法により行うことができる。ハードコート層2、3は、例えば、主成分となる上述したような樹脂と紫外線を吸収する材料とを溶剤に溶解させて塗液を調整し、該塗液を、ダイコーター、カーテンフローコーター、ロールコーター、リバースロールコーター、グラビアコーター、ナイフコーター、バーコーター、スピンコーター、マイクログラビアコーターなどを用いて基材に塗布し、塗膜を紫外線の照射等によって硬化させることにより形成してもよい。
また、ハードコート層は、基材1の両面に設けることが好ましい。その場合に、表裏のハードコート層の膜厚を調節することにより、透明導電膜20の表裏の応力が対称となるべく調整することができる。表裏の応力を調整することにより、反りの発生などを抑制することが出来、透明電極幕20を好適にタッチパネルに組みこむことが出来る。ただし、ハードコート層を片面にのみ設けた基材1で透明基板21を構成してもよいし、ハードコート層を設けない基材1で透明基板21を構成してもよい。
また、ハードコート層2、3の厚みは、1μm以上10μm以下程度の範囲内にあることが好ましい。ただし、ハードコート層2、3の厚みは上記範囲に限定されるものではない。
透明導電層8、9は、可視光の透過性を有し、かつ、電気伝導性を有する材料で形成することができる。透明導電層8、9の材料としては、例えば、酸化インジウム錫(ITO:Indium Tin Oxide)、酸化亜鉛、カーボンナノチューブ、グラフェン、ナノ銀、導電性高分子樹脂(イオン伝導機構を有する4級アンモニウム塩系導電性モノマー、電子伝導機構を有する導電性微粒子、π共役系導電性高分子、などを含む樹脂)などを用いてよい。
また、透明導電層8、9の材料としてITOを使用する場合、透明導電層8、9の光学膜厚は30nm以上80nm以下の範囲内にあることが好ましい。透明電極層8の光学膜厚が30nmより薄い場合、膜厚が薄く導電性能が充分に得られない。また、透明導電層8、9の光学膜厚が80nmより厚い場合、得られた薄膜の透過率が低下し、光学特性が低下する。ただし、本実施の形態に係る透明導電膜20において、ITOの薄膜を後述するようにパターニングして透明導電層8、9を形成する場合、透明導電層8、9の光学膜厚は、上記範囲に限定されるものではない。
本実施の形態において、透明導電層8、9は、透明な導電性材料を用いて薄膜を形成した後、形成された薄膜を所定形状にパターニングすることによって形成される。パターニングによって、透明導電層8、9には、透明導電部12と、隣接する透明導電部12の間に設けられる、導電性のない非導電部13とが形成される。透明導電部12は、パターニング後に透明な導電性材料が残存した部分であり、非導電部13は、パターニングにより透明な導電性材料が除去された部分である。例えば、透明導電膜20をタッチパネルに用いる場合、透明導電層8、9は、タッチパネルの透明電極となる。この場合、透明導電層8には、所定方向に延びる縞状の透明導電部12が設けられ、透明導電層9には、当該所定方向と直交する方向に延びる縞状の透明導電部12が設けられる。
また、光学調整層22、23は、透明基板21側から順に、高屈折率層4、5および低屈折率層6、7を積層して行使されている。屈折率の異なる層を積層することにより、異なる層の界面における反射光同士の位相を逆転させて打ち消すことで反射光を軽減することが出来る。このため、透明基板21側から発せられる反射光を軽減することが出来、観察面側に近い透明導電パターン電極(透明導電層8の透明導電部12)の視認を困難にすることが出来る。一例として、本実施の形態においては、高屈折率層4、5は、金属酸化化合物層であり、低屈折率層6、7は、酸化ケイ素層である。なお、「高屈折率層および低屈折率層」における、高屈折率および低屈折率とは、一方の層の屈折率と他方の層の屈折率とを相対的な大きさにより区別したものである。つまり、高屈折率層の屈折率が低屈折率層の屈折率より相対的に高い。また、軽減する反射光の帯域は、各層の屈折率および光学膜厚で制御できることから、各層の物理膜厚は、阻害したい帯域に応じて適宜光学設計し、決定してよい。更に、光学調整層22、23は、3以上の層で構成されていてもよい。
例えば、透明基材1とハードコート層2、3の屈折率が1.5以上1.7以下の範囲にあり、透明導電層8、9として、酸化インジウム錫の薄膜(光学膜厚:30nm以上80nm以下)を用いる場合、高屈折率層(屈折率:1.7以上2.6以下、光学膜厚:5nm以上25nm以下)と、低屈折率層(屈折率:1.3以上1.5以下、光学膜厚:50nm以上100nm以下)とを積層することにより、可視光下における酸化インジウム錫に特有な黄色味を軽減することができる。上述の範囲を満たす高屈折率層および低屈折率層の材料の組み合わせとしては、例えば、高屈折率層:酸化ニオブ(Nb2O5)、低屈折率層:酸化ケイ素(SiOX「xは酸素原子の数」)の組み合わせなどが挙げられる。高屈折率層4、5に使用できる材料としては、Nb2O5の他に、ZnO、TiO2、CeO2、Sb2O5、SnO2、Y2O3、La2O3、ZrO2、Al2O3を例示できる。
高屈折率層4、5および低屈折率層6、7の形成方法としては、高屈折率層および低屈折率層の形成材料に応じた薄膜形成方法により行うことができる。例えば、(1)スクリーン印刷、インクジェット印刷などの塗布法、(2)マグネトロンスパッタリング法、加速電子ビームを照射するEB蒸着法などの物理真空蒸着法(PVD)、化学気相成長法(CVD)などの気相成膜方法、等を用いてよい。特に、気相成膜方法は、厳密に膜厚制御を行うことが出来、所望の光学膜厚に調整することが可能であることから、気相成膜方法を用いることが好ましい。
配線10、11は、透明導電膜20の周縁部において、透明導電層8、9に接続されている。配線10、11は、透明導電膜20と組み合わされる画像表示装置の画像表示領域と重ならないように、透明導電膜20に配置される。本実施の形態の透明導電膜20において、配線10、11の材料は、電気伝導性を有し、加工性に優れた材料から適宜選択して用いてよい。例えば、銅、銀、金、などの金属を配線10、11の材料として用いてもよい。
また、配線10、11の厚みは、0.1μm以上2μm以下程度の範囲内にあることが好ましい。ただし、配線10、11の厚みはこの範囲に限定されるものではない。
保護層14は、透明電極膜20の一方面側に、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を覆うように設けられている。保護層14は、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を保護するためのものである。本実施形態では、透明導電膜20の一方面側のみに保護層14が設けられているが、透明電極膜20の両面側に保護層14を設けてもよい。また、保護層14を設けることによって、透明導電部12及び非導電部13の光学特性の差を小さくすることができるので、透明導電部12及び非導電部13を視認し難くすることができる。
保護層14は、絶縁性を有し、薄膜形成性に優れた材料を用いて形成される。保護層14の材料には、例えば、(1)アクリル酸エステル類、アクリルアミド類、メタクリル酸エステル類、メタクリルアミド類等のアクリル系樹脂、(2)有機珪素系樹脂、(3)熱硬化型ポリシロキサン樹脂、(4)酸化ケイ素、などを用いてもよい。
保護層14の厚みは、1μm以上50μm以下程度であることが好ましい。また、保護層14の透過色相b*が-1.0以上0.5以下程度の範囲内にあることが好ましい。保護層14がない透明電極膜は、透明導電層8を構成する材料に起因して全体が黄味を帯びるため、透過色相b*が大きくなる。そこで、透過色素b*が-1.0以上0.5以下程度の範囲にあるやや青みを帯びた保護層14を設けることによって、透明導電膜20全体の透過色相b*(配線10、11のない部分の透過色相b*)を1.5以下に抑制することができ、黄味を抑えることができる。尚、透過色相b*とは、透過光の色をL*a*b*表色系(D65光源、2°視野)で表したときのb*のことである。ただし、保護層14の厚みはこの範囲に限定されるものではない。また、保護層14の透過色相b*は、-0.5以上0以下であることがより好ましい。
保護層14の形成方法としては、保護層14の形成材料に応じた薄膜形成方法により行うことができる。保護層14は、例えば、主成分となる上述したような樹脂と紫外線を吸収する材料とを溶剤に溶解させて塗液を調整し、該塗液を、ダイコーター、カーテンフローコーター、ロールコーター、リバースロールコーター、グラビアコーター、ナイフコーター、バーコーター、スピンコーター、マイクログラビアコーターなどを用いて、保護層14の被形成面に塗布した後、塗膜を紫外線の照射等によって硬化させることにより形成してもよい。または、ラミネート方式を採用し、保護層14として別途形成したフィルム等を導電面に貼り合わせて使用してもよい。
図2は、実施の形態1に係る透明導電膜の変形例を示す概略断面図である。
変形例に係る透明導電膜20は、透明基板21の基材24が積層体である点で、図1に示した例と異なる。変形例に係る基材24は、フィルム基材15と、光学粘着層17と、フィルム基材16とがこの順で積層された積層体である。フィルム基材15、16としては、上述した基材1と同じ材料で形成されたフィルムを利用できる。光学粘着層17には、アクリル系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂、ゴム系樹脂を利用できる。また、光学粘着層17には、UV吸収性能を有する粘着剤や、フィルム状または液状の粘着剤を利用できる。光学粘着層17の厚みは、1μm以上150μm以下程度の範囲内にあることが好ましい。この基材24の両面にハードコート層2、3を積層することによって、透明基板21が構成されている。尚、透明基板21上に積層される、光学調整層22、23(高屈折率層4、5、低屈折率層6、7)、透明導電層8、9(透明導電部12、非導電部13)、配線10及び11、保護層14は、図1で説明したものと同じであるので、繰り返しの説明を省略する。
図3に、図1及び2に示す透明導電膜の概略平面図を示す。
透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線部10、11は保護層14により、外部より遮蔽されているため、図2では破線で示す。保護層14は、透明導電部12、非導電部13、配線部10、11を覆うように形成されている。
ここで、図1及び2に示した透明導電膜20において、透明基板21と、光学調整層22、23と、透明導電層8、9と、保護層14とから構成される第1の積層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*は1.5以下である。尚、透過色相b*とは、透過光の色をL*a*b*表色系(D65光源、2°視野)で表したときのb*のことである。透明導電膜の第1の積層構造部分(配線10、11のない部分)の透過色相b*が1.5より大きい場合、透明導電膜の全体が黄味を帯びてしまう。透過色相b*が1.5より大きい透明導電膜をタッチパネルに用いると、画面が黄味を帯びてしまい、画質が悪くなる。透明電極膜20が色味を帯びるのを抑えるため、第1の積層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*は、-3.0以上であることが好ましい。また、第1の積層構造の透過色相b*は、0以上1.0以下であることがより好ましい。この場合、透明電極膜20が色味を帯びるのを更に抑制できる。
尚、透明導電膜の透過色相b*を1.5以下とするために、例えば、保護層14が2層以上の積層体であって、かつ、干渉により青みを帯びるような構成を採用してもよい。また、保護層14の全体が青みを帯びるような材料を含む材料で、保護層14を形成してもよい。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係る透明導電膜20には、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を保護するための保護層14が設けられているが、第1の積層構造(すなわち、配線10、11が設けられていない部分)の透過色相b*が1.5以下に抑制されている。したがって、本実施形態によれば、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を保護しつつ、光学特性に優れた透明電極膜を実現できる。
図1及び2に示した透明導電膜20はタッチパネルの構成部材として利用できる。透明導電膜20を用いることにより、保護層14により耐擦傷性が向上し、高透過率・高透明性等の光学特性に優れ、更に、透明導電部8、9の目立たない、静電容量方式のタッチパネルを実現できる。
以下、本発明の透明導電膜の製造方法について説明を行う。
<透明導電層形成工程>
まず、透明基板21に透明導電層8、9の形成材料の薄膜を形成し、該薄膜にパターン形成することにより、透明導電部12と非導電部13とを形成する。

透明導電層8、9の形成材料を用いた薄膜の形成は、透明導電層8、9の形成材料に応じて、適した薄膜形成方法を用いてよい。例えば、(1)スクリーン印刷、インクジェット印刷などの塗布法、(2)マグネトロンスパッタリング法、加速電子ビームを照射するEB蒸着法などの物理真空蒸着法(PVD)、化学気相成長法(CVD)、などの気相成膜方法などを用いてよい。特に、透明導電部の材料にITOを用いる場合、気相成膜方法によりITO薄膜を形成すると電荷密度が向上し導電性も向上する傾向があることから、気相成膜方法を用いることが好ましい。
透明導電層8、9の形成材料の薄膜に対するパターン形成は、透明導電層8、9の形成材料に応じて、適したパターニング方法を用いてよい。例えば、薄膜上に所望するパターンと対応するエッチャントマスクを形成し、エッチャント液に浸漬することにより、薄膜にパターン形成してもよい。他のパターニング方法としては、例えば、スクリーン印刷、フォトリソグラフィー、ナノインプリント、電子線描画、などを用いてもよい。また、エッチャント液としては、例えば、塩化第二鉄液、王水、塩酸、シュウ酸、などを用いてもよい。
<配線形成工程>
次に、配線10、11の形成材料の薄膜を形成し、透明導電部と接続される配線10、11を形成する。

配線10、11の形成材料を用いた薄膜の形成は、配線10、11の形成材料に応じて、適した薄膜形成方法を用いてよい。例えば、(1)スクリーン印刷、インクジェット印刷などの塗布法、(2)マグネトロンスパッタリング法、加速電子ビームを照射するEB蒸着法などの物理真空蒸着法(PVD)、化学気相成長法(CVD)などの気相成膜方法などを用いてよい。また、配線形成材料の薄膜にパターニングを施し、一層に複数本の配線を形成してもよい。
配線10、11の形成材料の薄膜に対するパターン形成は、配線10、11に選択した材料に応じて、適したパターニング方法を用いてよい。例えば、薄膜上に所望するパターンと対応するエッチャントマスクを形成し、エッチャント液に浸漬することにより、薄膜にパターン形成してもよい。他のパターニング方法としては、例えば、スクリーン印刷、フォトリソグラフィー、ナノインプリント、電子線描画などを用いてもよい。また、エッチャント液としては、例えば、塩化第二鉄液、王水、塩酸、シュウ酸などを用いてもよい。
<保護層形成工程>
次に、保護層14の形成材料の薄膜を形成し、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を覆うように保護層14を形成する。

保護層14の形成材料を用いた薄膜形成は、保護層14に選択した材料に応じて、適した薄膜形成方法を用いてよい。例えば(1)スクリーン印刷、インクジェット印刷などの塗布法、(2)ラミネート加工などの貼り合わせ法などを用いてよい。
尚、透明導電層及び配線は、透明基板21の両面側に形成する必要があるので、上記の透明導電層形成工程及び配線形性工程のそれぞれにおいて、透明基板21の両面に対して透明導電層及び配線を形成する。この場合、各工程における薄膜形成及びパターン形性の順序は、採用する薄膜形成方法及びパターニング方法に応じて適宜定められる。
また、光学調整層22、23は、公知の多層薄膜形成方法により、透明基板21側から順に、高屈折率層4、5の薄膜と低屈折率層6、7の薄膜とを成膜することによって形成することができる。
また、図2の透明導電膜20のように、2枚のフィルム基材15、16を貼り合わせた積層体を基材とする場合、フィルム基材15及び16のそれぞれにハードコート層、光学調整層、透明導電層、配線を形成した後に、光学粘着層17を介して、フィルム基材15及び16を貼り合わせてもよい。この場合、保護層14は、フィルム基材15及び16の貼り合わせ前に形成してもよいし、貼り合わせ後に形成してもよい。
(実施の形態2)
図4は、実施の形態2に係る透明導電膜の一例を示す概略断面図である。

本実施の形態に係る透明導電膜30は、実施の形態1に係る透明導電膜20における保護層14が設けられた面と反対側の面に、更に、光学粘着層31と、カバーガラス32とを積層したものである。光学粘着層31には、アクリル系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂、ゴム系樹脂を利用できる。また、光学粘着層31には、UV吸収性能を有する粘着剤や、フィルム状または液状の粘着剤を利用してもよい。尚、透明導電膜30が備える透明基板21、光学調整層22及び23(高屈折率層4、5、低屈折率層6、7)、透明導電層8、9(透明導電部12、非導電部13)、配線10及び11、保護層14は、実施の形態1(図1)で説明したものと同じであるので、繰り返しの説明を省略する。
図5は、実施の形態2に係る透明導電膜の変形例を示す概略断面図である。
変形例に係る透明導電膜30は、透明基板21の基材として、図3で説明したものと同じ基材24が用いられている点で、図4に示した例と異なる。この基材24については、実施の形態1の変形例において既に説明したので、説明を省略する。
ここで、図4及び5に示した透明導電膜30において、透明基板21と、光学調整層22、23と、透明導電層8、9と、保護層14とが積層された部分を第1の積層構造といい、光学粘着層31とカバーガラス32とが積層された部分を第2の積層構造という。図4及び5の構成においては、第1の積層構造及び第2の積層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*は2.5以下である。尚、透過色相b*とは、透過光の色をL*a*b*表色系(D65光源、2°視野)で表したときのb*のことである。第1の積層構造と第2の積層構造とが重なる部分(すなわち、配線10、11のない部分)の透過色相b*が2.5より大きい場合、透明導電膜の全体が黄味を帯びてしまう。透過色相b*が2.5より大きい透明導電膜をタッチパネルに用いると、画面が黄味を帯びてしまい、画質が悪くなる。尚、透明導電膜の透過色相b*を2.5以下とするために、例えば、保護層14が2層以上の積層体であって、かつ、干渉により青みを帯びるような構成を採用してもよい。また、保護層14の全体が青みを帯びるような材料を含む材料で、保護層14を形成してもよい。透明電極膜20が色味を帯びるのを抑えるため、第1の積層構造及び第2の積層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*は、-3.0以上であることが好ましい。また、第1の積層構造の透過色相b*は、0以上2.0以下であることがより好ましい。この場合、透明電極膜20が色味を帯びるのを更に抑制できる。
尚、実施の形態2に係る透明導電膜30は、実施の形態1で説明した製造方法に従って、透明基板21上に、光学調整層22及び23、透明導電層8及び9、配線10及び11、保護層14を形成した後、保護層14とは反対側の面に、光学粘着層31を介してカバーガラス32を貼り合わせることによって製造することができる。
以上説明したように、本実施形態に係る透明導電膜30の一方面側には、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を保護するための保護層14が設けられ、他方面側には、光学粘着層31を介してカバーガラス32が張り合わされている。ただし、上述した第1の積層構造及び第2の積層構造の積層部分(すなわち、配線10、11が設けられていない部分)の透過色相b*が2.5以下に抑制されている。したがって、本実施形態によれば、透明導電部12、非導電部13及び配線10を保護しつつ、光学特性に優れた透明電極膜を実現できる。
図4及び5に示した透明導電膜30はタッチパネルの構成部材として利用できる。透明導電膜30を用いることにより、保護層14により耐擦傷性が向上し、高透過率・高透明性等の光学特性に優れ、更に、透明導電部8、9の目立たない、静電容量方式のタッチパネルを実現できる。
<実施例1>
まず、基材の両面に樹脂を塗工し、下部ハードコート層および上部ハードコード層を形成した。

基材には、厚み50μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(PET)を用いた。また、下部ハードコート層の膜厚は1.5μmであった。また、上部ハードコード層の膜厚は1.5μmであった。
次に、上部ハードコート層上に、高屈折率層を形成した。高屈折率層に用いる材料は、酸化ニオブ(Nb2O5)とした。また、高屈折率層の形成にはマグネトロンスパッタリングを用いた。
次に、高屈折率層上に、低屈折率層を形成した。低屈折率層の材料には、酸化ケイ素を用いた。また、低屈折率層の形成には、マグネトロンスパッタリングを用いた。
次に、低屈折率層上に、透明導電パターン電極を形成した。透明導電パターン電極に用いる材料は、酸化スズを5wt%含有する酸化インジウム・スズ(ITO)とした。また、透明導電パターン電極は、マグネトロンスパッタリングにてITOの薄膜を形成し、スクリーン印刷にてパターンに応じたエッチャントマスクを形成し、エッチャント液に浸漬することにより形成した。このとき、透明導電部のパターン幅を5mmとし、非導電部のパターン幅を70μmとした。また、エッチャント液には、塩化第二鉄液を用いた。
次に、透明導電部と接続する配線を形成した。配線に用いる材料は、銅とした。また、下層の配線は、マグネトロンスパッタリングにて銅の薄膜を形成し、スクリーン印刷にてパターンに応じたエッチャントマスクを形成し、エッチャント液に浸漬することにより形成した。このとき、エッチャント液には、過硫酸ナトリウム水溶液を用いた。また、下層の配線の配線パターンは、透明導電部のパターンであるラインパターンと接続する配線パターンとした。
次に、透明導電部、非導電部、配線を覆うように保護層を形成した。保護層に用いる材料は、アクリル系樹脂とした。また、保護層の形成には、マイクログラビアコーターを用い、保護層の膜厚は1.0μmとした。
以上の工程を経て、実施の形態1に係る透明導電膜を製造した。製造した透明導電膜はが備える高屈折率層/低屈折率層/透明導電部の各層の光学膜厚は次の通りであった。
高屈折率層:12nm、低屈折率層:74nm、透明導電部:40nm
高屈折率層:12nm、低屈折率層:74nm、透明導電部:40nm
<比較例1>
実施例1と同じ条件で、基材上にハードコート層、高屈折率層、低屈折率層、透明導電部、非導電部及び配線を形成したものを比較例1に係る透明導電膜とした。比較例1の透明導電膜には、保護層を設けなかった。
実施例1と同じ条件で、基材上にハードコート層、高屈折率層、低屈折率層、透明導電部、非導電部及び配線を形成したものを比較例1に係る透明導電膜とした。比較例1の透明導電膜には、保護層を設けなかった。
<実施例1及び比較例1の評価>
実施例1と比較例1について、全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)、L*a*b*表色系(D65光源、視野2°)で表したときの透過色相b*、擦傷試験、鉛筆硬度試験(JIS-K5600)を実施した。

実施例1の透明導電膜の導電性パターン領域(配線のない領域)の全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)は90.6%、透過色相b*は1.5であり、黄味が少なく、高透過率・高透明で、かつ、透明導電部のパターンが目立たない透明導電膜が得られた。かつ、実施例1の透明導電膜には、鉛筆硬度試験(鉛筆硬度H、500g荷重)においてもキズが確認されなかった。一方、比較例1の透明導電膜の導電性パターン領域(配線のない領域)の全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)は90.0%、透過色相b*は1.8であり、黄味を帯びていた。また、比較例の透明導電膜では、鉛筆硬度試験(鉛筆硬度H、500g荷重)においてキズが確認された。
<実施例2>
実施例1と同じ条件で、基材上にハードコート層、高屈折率層、低屈折率層、透明導電部、非導電部、配線及び保護層を形成した後、保護層と反対側の面に、厚み100μmの光学粘着層を介して厚み500μmのカバーガラスを貼り合わせたものを、実施例2に係る透明導電膜とした。
実施例1と同じ条件で、基材上にハードコート層、高屈折率層、低屈折率層、透明導電部、非導電部、配線及び保護層を形成した後、保護層と反対側の面に、厚み100μmの光学粘着層を介して厚み500μmのカバーガラスを貼り合わせたものを、実施例2に係る透明導電膜とした。
<比較例2>
実施例1と同じ条件で、基材上にハードコート層、高屈折率層、低屈折率層、透明導電部、非導電部及び配線を形成した後、厚み100μmの光学粘着層を介して厚み500μmのカバーガラスを貼り合わせたものを、比較例2に係る透明導電膜とした。比較例2の透明導電膜には、保護層を設けなかった。

<実施例2及び比較例2の評価>
実施例2と比較例2について、全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)、L*a*b*表色系(D65光源、視野2°)で表したときの透過色相b*、擦傷試験、鉛筆硬度試験(JIS-K5600)を実施した。

実施例2の透明導電膜の導電性パターン領域(配線のない領域)の全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)は90.6%、透過色相b*は2.5であり、黄味が少なく、高透過率・高透明で、かつ、透明導電部のパターンが目立たない透明導電膜が得られた。かつ、実施例1の透明導電膜には、鉛筆硬度試験(鉛筆硬度H、500g荷重)においてもキズが確認されなかった。一方、比較例1の透明導電膜の導電性パターン領域(配線のない領域)の全光線透過率(JIS-K7105)は90.0%、透過色相b*は3.0であり、黄味を帯びていた。また、比較例の透明導電膜では、鉛筆硬度試験(鉛筆硬度H、500g荷重)においてキズが確認された。
本発明の透明導電膜は、静電容量方式のタッチパネルを利用する広範な分野で利用できる。例えば、金融機関のATM、電子機器(コピー機、ファックス、カーナビ、その他家電など)、携帯情報端末(携帯電話、スマートフォン、タブレットPCなど)、電子書籍端末、携帯ゲーム端末、携帯音楽プレーヤー、自動販売機等の操作パネルを構成するタッチパネルに利用できる。

- 透明導電膜であって、
透明基板と、
前記透明基板の両面側に設けられる光学調整層と、
前記光学調整層のそれぞれの上に設けられる透明導電層と、
前記透明導電層に接続される配線と、
前記透明導電膜の少なくとも一方の面側に設けられ、前記透明導電層及び前記配線を被覆する保護層とを備え、
前記保護層の厚みが1μm以上50μm以下であり、
前記基板層と、前記光学調整層と、前記透明導電層と、前記保護層とで第1の多層構造が構成されており、
前記第1の多層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*が1.5以下である、透明導電膜。 - 前記透明導電膜の少なくとも一方の面側に設けられる光学粘着層と、
前記光学粘着層の上に設けられるカバーガラスと、からなる第2の多層構造を更に備え、
前記第1の多層構造及び前記第2の多層構造を透過した光の透過色相b*が2.5以下である、透明導電膜。 - 前記透明基板の両面に設けられた前記透明導電層のパターニングにより、透明導電部と非導電部とが形成されていることを特徴する、請求項1に記載の透明導電膜。
- 前記透明導電膜の前記保護層が、前記透明導電部、前記非導電部及び前記電極配線を覆って形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の透明導電膜。
- 前記光学調整層が、前記透明基板側から順に、金属酸化化合物層及び酸化ケイ素層を積層して構成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明電極膜。
- 前記透明基板が、フィルム基材、光学粘着層及び光学フィルムを順に積層して構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明導電膜。
- 前記電極配線の配線幅が10μm以上40μm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の透明導電膜。
- 請求項1に記載の透明導電膜を備える、タッチパネル。
- 透明基板の両面に透明導電部を有する電極配線付き透明導電膜の製造方法であって、
前記透明基板の両面に、前記透明導電部と非導電部とを形成し、
前記透明導電部に接続される配線部を形成し、
前記透明導電膜の少なくとも一方の面側に、前記透明導電部を被覆する保護層を形成する、透明導電膜の製造方法。 - 前記透明導電膜の一方面側に、光学粘着層及びカバーガラスを更に貼り合わせる、請求項9に記載の透明導電膜の製造方法。
