Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor element for use in the field of gymnastics and / or fitness according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the floor element has, for forming a large-area floor on at least one outer edge teeth for a positive connection with another floor element.
- Floor elements of the type specified above are used for example in fitness or sports studios.
- the floor elements laid on a subfloor protect the subfloor from damage and wear and also offer the possibility of an attractive visual design of the floor in a simple and cost-effective manner.
- the floor elements are simply laid on the subfloor and assembled via connecting means to form a large-area floor. In the case of wear or a desired change in the look of the floor, the floor can be replaced easily and quickly. Thus, can be achieved with comparatively simple means an attractive design of a gym, exercise or gym, which can be easily and quickly adapted to changing requirements.
- the floor elements are usually laid over the entire surface of the entire floor area in a gym, sports or fitness room.
- a known material of such floor elements is for example PVC (polyvinyl chloride).
- the floor elements are laid in fitness studios, for example in equipment rooms in which training equipment is located, or in transit areas. If the floor elements are installed in gymnastics, gymnastics or exercise rooms, for example for group fitness courses, athletes are usually ne gymnastic or gymnastic mats that provide a soft surface for each individual athlete.
- the invention is based on the invention to provide a floor element for use in the gymnastics and / or fitness, which is particularly versatile.
- Polyurethane is a plastic material from which foams can be produced very easily.
- a particular advantage of polyurethane foams is that they can be produced on site in a processing plant from liquid components and can be brought into a desired shape. Polyurethane foams are overall economical to produce, even in smaller quantities.
- Soft or semi-rigid polyurethane foams are characterized by very good permanently elastic and cushioning properties, are durable, hard-wearing and sound-absorbing.
- the floor element according to the invention is therefore particularly suitable for use in stressed and optionally noise-intensive areas in which a dampening floor covering is desired, for example in rooms for group fitness classes.
- a basic idea of the invention can consequently be seen in the provision of a floor element which, on the one hand, can be easily combined with other floor elements to form a large-area floor and, on the other hand, forms a soft and cushioning floor surface.
- the floor element according to the invention offers on the one hand a protective function for the subfloor on which it is laid, and on the other hand a protective function for the people who move on it.
- the outer edges or edges of the floor element can also be referred to as edges.
- the distribution of pressure under the sole of the foot should have as little as possible stress peaks during walking, which would lead to pressure pains on the feet.
- the impulsive load peaks occurring during walking in the course of a rolling process so-called passive force peaks, shortly after the impact of the heel) should be as low as possible in order to minimize the joint loads.
- the joints are the weak points of the human musculoskeletal system.
- degenerative changes often occur here.
- the rolling movement of the foot should be elastically damped.
- the floor element Due to the good damping properties of the floor element according to the invention, the floor element is particularly gentle on the joints and in particular knee-friendly for the athletes who move on it.
- the floor element makes it possible to dispense with an additional gymnastics, fitness or gymnastics mat for the protection of athletes, since it can take over this protective function itself due to its cushioning properties. Additional protective mats can thus be saved, so that, for example, gymnastics courses without disturbing and time-consuming laying before a course taking place and re-stowing individual gymnastic mats can take place after completion of a course.
- the floor according to the invention made of permanently elastic PUR soft integral foam combines load-reducing and non-slip features and offers the athlete maximum comfort and protection.
- the robust, damping and sound-insulating properties of the floor elements which can be flexibly configured in accordance with the invention result in a floor having the following advantages:
- connection means provided according to the invention enable a flexible and individual adaptation of the floor shape and size.
- the floor according to the invention has a robust, easy-to-clean and non-slip surface and has advantageous impact sound-insulating and shock-absorbing properties.
- the floor according to the invention is also cold and heat insulating
- the floor of the invention also requires no permanent installation and can be easily detached and relocated elsewhere.
- the floor element according to the invention and the floor according to the invention can be used in fitness and sports studios and also in rehabraxes and yoga studios.
- the elasticity of the floor element can be adjusted specifically to a desired application. Density and hardness can be slightly varied in the manufacturing process according to the desired properties.
- the material according to the invention therefore offers the possibility of producing floor elements with different properties, for example for different rooms and applications in a gym.
- the bottom element according to the invention may advantageously have a maximum temperature load of 80 degrees Celsius, preferably plus / minus 10 percent of this value, more preferably plus / minus 5 percent of this value, and most preferably plus / minus 3 percent of that value.
- the bottom element according to the invention can advantageously have a compression hardness (40%) of 0.25 Newton per square millimeter, preferably plus / minus 10 percent of this value, more preferably plus / minus 5 percent of this value, and most preferably plus / minus 3 percent of that value ,
- the floor element is a foamed part.
- An integral foam according to the invention is in particular a material or molded part with a core of foam cells and a largely cell-free outer surface to understand.
- a porous structure is formed in the interior of the bottom element.
- the porous structure forms a soft, elastic foam core, which significantly influences the elastic and damping properties of the floor element due to its cellular structure.
- the outer or surface of the bottom element is preferably largely or completely closed, that is free of pores.
- the outer skin thus formed which preferably has a thickness of about 1 to 2 mm, provides a hygienic surface, so that the bottom element is easy to clean. Due to the closed outer skin, the floor element is also waterproof. Due to the outer skin, which is preferably somewhat firmer with respect to the elastic core, the floor element is mechanically highly stressable and resistant.
- the material polyurethane (PUR) also ensures a low abrasion of the surface. Another advantage of polyurethane (PUR) is its good solvent resistance and good external paintability.
- the bottom element has a single elastic layer, which consists of PUR integral foam.
- the bottom element is thus a single-layered part.
- the elastic properties are provided by a single layer of material.
- the bottom element has a Shore A hardness in the range of 20 to 50, preferably 20 to 30, particularly preferably less than 30 on. The specified hardness range provides good joint protection and sufficient support at the same time.
- the density of the bottom member is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 0.5 g / cm 3 .
- the floor element is sufficiently heavy to remain reliable and without too easy slipping on the ground.
- the density of the bottom element is not homogeneous, but increases from the outside to the inside continuously or successively. It has been found that good elastic properties and good handleability can be achieved in the laying, when the bottom member has a thickness in the range of 5 to 20 mm, preferably 10 to 15 mm.

- the toothings on the at least one outer edge can be designed as desired in order to provide a positive connection with at least one further floor element.
- a particularly secure connection of individual floor elements can be achieved in that the teeth are designed for a hinter33de connection with the other floor element. By engaging behind connection slipping apart of the connected floor elements is avoided.
- the individual teeth may, for example, be dovetail-shaped or T-shaped.
- PUR integral foam Another advantage of the material PUR integral foam is that it has a good feel and the surface of such a molding basically any structures can be given.
- At least one edge or at least one edge is provided for providing the connection means.
- beveled edge such that the edge or the edge with an edge or an edge of another floor element, which is also bevelled, may form an overlapping connection.
- a bottom side of the floor element In order to prevent slippage of the floor element, it is preferable for a bottom side of the floor element to have a structured surface, in particular knobs and / or grooves.
- an upper surface of the bottom element has a structured surface, in particular knobs and / or grooves.
- the bottom and / or the top of the bottom element may also be smooth.
- a functional and visually appealing floor element can be provided by an upper side of the floor element being at least partially printed.
- the printing can be effected in particular in such a way that optically separated zones are formed from each other, in other words that the bottom element has at least two delimited surface zones.
- a zoning can be provided, for example, to mark different floor zones of a gym, such as a running and a training zone.
- application of other materials, for example by gluing, on the bottom element or a composite of several floor elements according to the invention soil may be advantageous.
- plastic materials such as films, and / or textile materials, such as felt, can be used.
- a bevel is preferably formed on at least one outer edge.
- the slope makes it possible not to move the floor elements over the entire area within an entire room, but specifically to provide, for example, only sports areas, with the floor elements according to the invention.
- the slope then provides a secure transition at the edge of the floor to an uncovered portion of the subfloor.
- the floor element has a rectangular, in particular a square, shape. In principle, any shape is possible that allows complete coverage of the subfloor. Different sized floor elements can also be used. For example, floor elements may also be used that have the shape of an equilateral triangle.
- the bottom element is molded.
- the invention relates to a floor for use in the gymnastics and / or fitness area, which is formed from a plurality of floor elements, as described above, which are connected to each other, in particular form-fitting manner.
