Abstract

L'invention concerne une technique permettant, dans un jeu en ligne, de remplacer un élément par un élément recommandé. Ce procédé de remplacement d'élément concernera un élément d'un jeu en ligne auquel joue une pluralité d'utilisateurs accédant à un serveur de jeux en ligne par l'intermédiaire de clients. Le procédé consiste d'abord à recevoir d'un client une demande d'obtention d'un nouvel élément impliquant au moins un élément candidat choisi parmi les éléments utilisés dans le jeu en ligne. Le procédé consiste ensuite, après réception de la demande d'obtention du nouvel élément, à transmettre au client une liste d'éléments désirés dont au moins un élément recommandé se rapportant à un nouveau gain, ladite liste comprenant au moins un élément désiré indispensable pour l'obtention du nouvel élément. Le procédé consiste alors à appliquer une certaine probabilité de succès aux éléments candidats reçus en provenance du client pour déterminer si une tentative d'obtention du nouvel élément a été couronnée de succès. Si la tentative d'obtention du nouvel élément a été couronnée de succès, le procédé consiste enfin à fournir à l'utilisateur des gains différents si l'élément recommandé se trouve parmi les éléments candidats. L'invention permet ainsi d'ajuster le nombre d'éléments utilisés dans un jeu et de tenir à jour de façon appropriée les valeurs des éléments utilisés dans le jeu en ligne.
