- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the lens holder according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
- the lens holder is configured by using a lens holding member 10 formed in a cup shape as a whole.
- the lens holding member 10 has a body 11 and a head 12 integrally.
- the lens holding member 10 has an opening 13 on the side opposite to the head 12.
- a hollow portion 14 is formed inside the lens holding member 10.
- the lens holding member 10 is configured using an elastic material having rubber-like elasticity.
- an elastic material constituting the lens holding member 10 for example, silicone rubber, fluorine rubber, nitrile rubber, or the like can be used.
- the body 11 is formed in a cylindrical shape.
- the body part 11 forms an opening part 13 and a hollow part 14.
- the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body portion 11 is preferably formed in a tapered state as shown in the figure.
- the inclination angle ⁇ of the inner peripheral surface 15 is set, for example, within a range of more than 0 degrees and 10 degrees or less with reference to an axis parallel to the central axis J of the lens holding member 10.
- the inclination angle ⁇ of the inner peripheral surface 15 is preferably set to more than 0 degree and 5 degrees or less. This is because when the inclination angle ⁇ of the inner peripheral surface 15 exceeds 5 degrees, the contact area between the inner peripheral surface 15 and the edge surface 4 decreases.
- the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 is formed so that the inner diameter gradually decreases from the head 12 toward the opening 13. More specifically, the minimum inner diameter (opening diameter of the opening 13) D1 of the inner peripheral surface 15 is set smaller than the outer diameter D0 of the spectacle lens 1. The maximum inner diameter D2 of the inner peripheral surface 15 is set larger than the outer diameter D0 of the spectacle lens 1. The inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface 15 at a position slightly entering the hollow portion 14 from the opening 13 is set to be approximately equal to the outer diameter D0 of the spectacle lens 1.
- the outer peripheral surface 16 of the barrel portion 11 is formed so as to be parallel to the central axis J of the lens holding member 10.
- the thickness of the trunk portion 11 is determined by the dimensional difference between the radius of the inner peripheral surface 15 and the radius of the outer peripheral surface 16 of the trunk portion 11. For this reason, the thickness of the body 11 is set so as to gradually increase from the head 12 toward the opening 13 in accordance with the taper of the inner peripheral surface 15.
- the head 12 is formed so as to close one side of the trunk portion 11 in the central axis direction.
- the outer surface 17 of the head 12 is formed in a state of bulging in a substantially arc shape.
- the inner surface 18 of the head 12 is formed in a state orthogonal to the central axis J of the lens holding member 10.
- the inner side surface 18 of the head portion 12 defines the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10 together with the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body portion 11.
- drum 11 is deform
- the spectacle lens 1 is inserted into the hollow portion 14 while maintaining the deformed state of the opening 13 described above. At this time, it is preferable to adjust the posture of the spectacle lens 1 so that the spectacle lens 1 is disposed concentrically with the lens holding member 10 in the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10.
- the force applied to the opening 13 of the body 11 is released. If it does so, it will be in the state which the inner peripheral surface 15 of the trunk
- FIG. Further, the opening 13 of the body 11 is closed by the spectacle lens 1. At this time, a contact pressure associated with the release of the elastic deformation of the opening 13 acts between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1. For this reason, the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 is in close contact with the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11.
- the spectacle lens 1 is attached to the lens holding member 10 as shown in FIGS. 3 (A) and 3 (B).
- a sealed space 19 is formed in the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10 with the spectacle lens 1 as a lid.
- a space surrounded by three surfaces such as the inner side surface 18 of the head 12, the optical surface 3 of the spectacle lens 1 facing the head surface 12, and the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body portion 11 becomes the sealed space 19.
- the temperature of the staining liquid 21 used for staining the spectacle lens 1 is maintained at a temperature higher than the normal temperature (20 ° C. ⁇ 15 ° C.) defined by JIS. Specifically, the temperature of the staining liquid 21 is set within a range of 70 ° C. to 98 ° C.
- the operation of attaching the spectacle lens 1 to the lens holding member 10 is performed in a normal temperature environment. For this reason, when the spectacle lens 1 held by the lens holding member 10 is immersed in the staining liquid 21, the air present in the sealed space 19 is warmed through the spectacle lens 1 and the lens holding member 10. As a result, the air in the sealed space 19 is thermally expanded.
- the spectacle lens 1 is pressed toward the opening 13 by the air compressed by the thermal expansion, and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 is pressed against the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 by the action of this pressing force.
- the adhesive force between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the trunk portion 11 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 is increased, and at the same time, the sealing property of the sealed space 19 is increased. Will also increase.
- the spectacle lens 1 when the spectacle lens 1 is mounted on the lens holding member 10, a sealed space 19 is formed inside the lens holding member 10, so that the optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1 is immersed in the staining solution 21 with the optical surface 2 facing downward.
- buoyancy acts on the spectacle lens 1 and the lens holding member 10 due to the presence of air in the sealed space 19. For this reason, the spectacle lens 1 alone sinks into the staining liquid 21, but when held by the lens holding member 10, the spectacle lens 1 is maintained in a state of floating on the liquid surface of the staining liquid 21.
- the spectacle lens 1 is attached to the staining liquid 21 together with the lens holding member 10. Take out from.
- the dyeing time is a time set according to the material of the spectacle lens 1 and a desired dyeing density. After taking out the spectacle lens 1 from the staining liquid 21, the spectacle lens 1 is removed from the lens holding member 10 by deforming the opening portion 13 of the trunk portion 11 so as to open outward. Through the above dyeing process, the spectacle lens 1 is dyed on one side.
- the inner peripheral surface 15 of the trunk portion 11 and the edge of the spectacle lens 1 are utilized by utilizing the thermal expansion of the air in the sealed space 19.
- the adhesion with the surface 4 can be increased. For this reason, it is difficult for the staining liquid 21 to enter the contact interface between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body portion 11 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the staining liquid 21 from adhering to a portion other than the staining target of the spectacle lens 1.
- the spectacle lens 1 can be maintained in a state of being floated on the liquid surface of the dye solution 21 by utilizing the buoyancy of the air in the sealed space 19. For this reason, during immersion, the lens holding member 10 can be prevented from being inverted (turned over) by the floating bag effect of the sealed space 19. Further, at the end of the immersion, the work of taking out the spectacle lens 1 from the staining liquid 21 can be easily performed. In addition, it is possible to easily perform an air venting operation to avoid uneven dyeing due to bubble accumulation. More specifically, in the state shown in FIG. 4, the bubble reservoir is in the liquid of the staining liquid 21 at the portion where the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10 and the peripheral portion of the optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1 intersect.
- the bubble accumulation is caused when the spectacle lens 1 is held by the lens holding member 10 in the opposite direction to the front and back of FIG. 4 and the optical surface (concave surface) 3 is immersed in the staining solution 21 in the staining solution 21. Is generated when the bubbles generated at the center of the optical surface 3 accumulate. If this bubble reservoir is left unattended, uneven dyeing occurs, and an air venting operation for releasing bubbles is required. In the present embodiment, since the spectacle lens 1 is in a floating state on the liquid surface of the staining liquid 21, this air venting operation can be easily performed.
- the lens holding member 10 is supported so that the central axis of the spectacle lens 1 is inclined with respect to the liquid surface of the staining liquid 21.
- the bubble pool can be brought close to the outer peripheral edge of the optical surface 3 (a portion that does not cause a problem in the quality of the spectacle lens 1).
- the lens holding member 10 is slightly tilted while the spectacle lens 1 is immersed in the staining solution 21. Only the bubbles can escape to the outside of the lens holding member 10.
- the positions where the slits, holes and the like for venting air are provided are the edge surfaces of the spectacle lens 1 in contact with the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 on the opening 13 side of the lens holding member 10 in FIG. 4 is preferably set so that a part of the slit, hole or the like overlaps.
- the thickness dimension of the body portion 11 increases as it approaches the opening portion 13. For this reason, when the eyeglass lens 1 held by the lens holding member 10 is immersed in the dyeing liquid 21, the air in the sealed space 19 is thermally expanded by receiving heat transfer from the dyeing liquid 21, and the internal pressure generated accordingly. By utilizing the difference between the pressure and the external pressure, the adhesion between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 and the sealing property of the sealed space 19 can be enhanced. In addition, when the air in the sealed space 19 is thermally expanded due to heat transfer from the dyeing liquid 21, the thin portion of the trunk portion 11 is relatively easily deformed by the pressure increase in the sealed space 19, and the trunk portion 11.
- the thick-walled portion is relatively difficult to deform. Therefore, an excessive pressure increase in the sealed space 19 can be suppressed by deformation of the thin portion of the body portion 11. Further, when the air in the sealed space 19 is thermally expanded, deformation of the thick portion of the body portion 11 is suppressed, so that the spectacle lens 1 can be reliably retained in the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10. .
- the optical surface 3 when the liquid is sprayed onto the one optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1 in the form of a mist, the optical surface 3 can be protected so that the liquid particles do not go around and adhere to the other optical surface 3. Further, even when a vapor deposition material is attached to one optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1 to form a thin film, the optical surface 3 is protected so that the vapor deposition material does not go around and adhere to the other optical surface 3. Can do. Furthermore, when the plasma processing is performed on one optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1, the optical surface 3 can be protected from damage or the like accompanying the plasma processing.
- an easily deformable portion 20 that is easier to deform than other portions is formed in a part of the trunk portion 11 connected to the head 12. Thereby, the deformation
- the easily deformable portion 20 has a structure in which a portion having a reduced thickness and a portion having a increased thickness are alternately formed on a part of the body portion 11.
- the spectacle lens 1 is floated on the liquid surface of the staining liquid 21 by the buoyancy of the air in the sealed space 19, but the present invention is not limited to this, for example, as shown in FIG.
- the spectacle lens 1 held by the lens holding member 10 may be submerged in the staining solution 21 together with the lens holding member 10.
- the spectacle lens 1 held by the lens holding member 10 is set together with the lens holding member 10 in a rack (not shown).
- One or a plurality of lens holding members 10 are set in the rack.
- a predetermined number of spectacle lenses 1 and lens holding members 10 are submerged in the dyeing liquid 21 together with the rack.
- the sealed space 19 exists as it is inside the lens holding member 10. Moreover, since the air in the sealed space 19 is thermally expanded as described above, the sealing performance of the sealed space 19 is improved. For this reason, only the optical surface 2 of the spectacle lens 1 can be dyed. Further, when the spectacle lens 1 is submerged in the staining liquid 21 together with the lens holding member 10, the opening 13 of the lens holding member 10 is stained by reversing the direction of the lens holding member 10 in FIG. The spectacle lens 1 may be held in a posture facing the liquid surface side (upper side) of the liquid 21.
- the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 is pressed against the inner peripheral surface 15 of the body 11 by receiving buoyancy due to air in the sealed space 19. For this reason, the contact
- Second Embodiment> (3-1. Configuration of lens holder) 7A and 7B are schematic views showing the configuration of the lens holder according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- the fixing member 22 shown in FIG. 7A and the lens holding member 10 shown in FIG. 7B are members that constitute the lens holder according to the second embodiment. Since the lens holding member 10 is the same as that of the first embodiment, description thereof is omitted.
- the fixing member 22 is formed in a ring shape as a whole.
- the fixing member 22 can be configured using, for example, a resin or a metal, and is preferably configured using a metal in consideration of durability, stability of the lens holding state, and the like. In that case, it is preferable to use aluminum from the viewpoint of weight reduction. Moreover, it is also preferable to use stainless steel from the viewpoint of imparting an appropriate spring property.
- the fixing member 22 has a belt-like belt portion 23 and two operation portions 24 integrally.
- the belt portion 23 is formed in a circular ring shape.
- the inner diameter (ring diameter) of the belt portion 23 can be expanded larger than the outer diameter of the lens holding member 10 by applying an external force in the direction of separating the two operation portions 24. Further, the inner diameter of the belt portion 23 is set to be slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the lens holding member 10 in a state where the external force is not applied.
- the operation part 24 is formed at each end of the belt part 23.
- the fixing member 22 is fitted to the lens holding member 10. Specifically, the inner diameter of the belt portion 23 is expanded to be larger than the outer diameter of the lens holding member 10 by grasping the two operation portions 24 provided on the fixing member 22 with a finger or a tool (not shown). In this state, the fixing member 22 is fitted into the lens holding member 10. At that time, in the central axis direction of the lens holding member 10, the position of the fixing member 22 is aligned with the portion where the spectacle lens 1 is mounted, and the external force is released in that state. Then, since the inner diameter of the belt portion 23 is reduced by the spring property of the fixing member 22 itself simultaneously with the release of the external force, the body portion 11 of the lens holding member 10 is tightened by the fixing member 22 from the outside. That is, the tightening force of the fixing member 22 fitted to the lens holding member 10 is applied to the spectacle lens 1 through the body 11. For this reason, the spectacle lens 1 is fixed in the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10.
- the dyeing process is performed in the same manner as in the first embodiment except that the configuration of the lens holder is different. That is, after the spectacle lens 1 is mounted on the lens holder in the above procedure (FIG. 8), the spectacle lens 1 is immersed in the dyeing liquid 21, and then the dyeing liquid 21 is in a stage where a predetermined dyeing time has elapsed. The eyeglass lens 1 is taken out together with the lens holder.
- the second embodiment of the present invention in addition to the same effects as those of the first embodiment, the following effects can be obtained. That is, by fitting the fixing member 22 to the lens holding member 10, as shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B, the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1 Can be brought into close contact with each other using the fastening force of the fixing member 22. For this reason, compared with a configuration that does not include the fixing member 22, the staining liquid 21 is less likely to enter the contact interface between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the staining liquid 21 from adhering to a portion other than the staining target of the spectacle lens 1. In addition, the spectacle lens 1 can be reliably fixed to the lens holding member 10 by the tightening force of the fixing member 22. For this reason, the fall deterrent can be increased so that the spectacle lens 1 attached to the lens holder does not fall from the lens holding member 10.
- FIG. 10 is a schematic view showing a configuration of a lens holder according to the third embodiment of the present invention.
- the illustrated lens holder is configured by using a lens holding member 10 formed in a cup shape as a whole, as in the first embodiment. However, it differs from the first embodiment in that a stopper portion 25 is provided on a part of the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10.
- the stopper portion 25 is formed in a stepped shape so as to protrude inward.
- the stopper portion 25 may be formed continuously over the entire circumference (360 °), or may be formed in a plurality of locations (preferably at least three locations) at a predetermined angular pitch.
- drum 11 is the 1st inner peripheral surface (taper surface) 15a which forms the level
- the spectacle lens 1 is attached to the lens holder. Since the subsequent dyeing process is the same as that of the first embodiment, description thereof is omitted.
- the following effects can be obtained. That is, since the stopper portion 25 is formed on the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10, when the spectacle lens 1 is attached to the lens holding member 10, the position and posture of the spectacle lens 1 can be stabilized. For this reason, it is possible to avoid the inconvenience that the spectacle lens 1 enters too far into the inner side of the hollow portion 14 of the lens holding member 10 and the force for holding the spectacle lens 1 is insufficient. Further, inconveniences that may occur when the spectacle lens 1 is tilted and held on the lens holding member 10, for example, inconveniences such as lower adhesion between the inner peripheral surface 15 of the lens holding member 10 and the edge surface 4 of the spectacle lens 1. It can be avoided.
- FIG. 12 is a schematic view showing a configuration of a lens holder according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention.
- a configuration in which the hook portion 26 is provided on the top portion (head portion 12) of the lens holding member 10 is adopted.
- the hook portion 26 is formed in a T shape in a side view.
- the hooking portion 26 is formed on the central axis J of the lens holding member 10.
- the hook portion 26 may be formed integrally with the lens holding member 10 or may be provided on the lens holding member 10 later. Further, the shape of the hook portion 26 may be another shape (for example, a ring shape).
- the lens holder is provided with an auxiliary instrument 27 that assists the work related to the dyeing process as an instrument attached thereto.
