(1)固定型が配置される固定プラテンと、前記固定型とともにキャビティを画成する可動型が配置され前記固定プラテンに対して移動可能とされる可動プラテンと、前記固定プラテンと前記可動プラテンの間に生じる型締力に抗するタイバーと、前記タイバーを把持して前記可動プラテンと前記タイバーとを係止する型締保持装置とを備えた型締装置であって、前記型締保持装置は、前記タイバーを把持する把持部材と、前記可動プラテンまたは前記固定プラテンに配置され前記タイバーに対して前記把持部材を進退するアクチュエータと、前記アクチュエータと前記把持部材とを揺動可能に連結する揺動部材と、を備えることを特徴とする型締装置。
またそれぞれタイバーに対して同期して接離する。その結果、さらには、第1把持部材同士および第2把持部材同士が同期して同時に動作するので、ハーフナット毎の動作バラツキを抑制し、ハーフナットの接離が完了するのに要する時間を短縮できるとともに生産性を向上できる。
また、さらに第1把持部材と第2把持部材とをリンクなどにより同期させた場合には、第1把持部材および第2把持部材の全てのハーフナット片が同期して同時に動作するので、ハーフナット片毎の動作バラツキを無くし、ハーフナット片の接離が完了するのに要する時間をさらに短縮でき生産性を向上できる。
その結果、アクチュエータのロッドに曲げ破損が生じるのをより安定して抑制することができる。
上記(4)の記載の本発明の1態様に係る型締装置によれば、シンプルな形状で連結構造としての曲げ剛性を容易に高めることが出来る。その結果、アクチュエータのロッドに曲げ破損が生じるのをより安定して抑制することができる。
(5)上記(1)~(4)のいずれか1項に記載の型締装置を備える射出成形機。
図1、図2は、第1の実施形態に係る、例えば、射出成形機に用いられる型締装置を示す図であり、符号1は型締装置を示している。また、図3~図7はハーフナット開閉装置(型締保持装置)20を説明する図である。
図1、図2に示すように、基台10の一端側には固定プラテン11が設けられ、可動プラテン12は、基台10に対して摺動可能かつ固定プラテン11と対向して配置されている。
固定プラテン11と可動プラテン12は、水平方向及び鉛直方向において互いに隣接する4本のタイバー15により接続されている。
4本のタイバー15は、可動プラテン12を貫通して配置され、可動プラテン12は、タイバー15と摺動可能とされている。
また、基台10には、例えば、電動の可動プラテン移動手段17が設けられ、固定プラテン11に対して可動プラテン12を移動可能とされている。このとき可動プラテン移動手段17は油圧シリンダでも支障ない。図1は、可動プラテン移動手段17によって可動プラテン12を固定プラテン11の方向に移動させ、可動型14を固定型13に接触させた型閉状態を示している。
また、ハーフナット22は、ハーフナット片22aとハーフナット片22bとを備え、ハーフナット片22a及びハーフナット片22bに形成された径方向内方に突出する周方向凸部(第2係止形状部)によりタイバー15の周方向溝15aを噛合してタイバー15を把持するようになっている。
その結果、ハーフナット片21aとハーフナット片21b、及びハーフナット片22aとハーフナット片22bは、タイバー15に対する進退が同期するようになっている。
また、ハーフナット片22aと22bの上下面には、それぞれピン22cが上向き及び下向きに突設されている。
また、両端部の長孔25bには、ハーフナット片21a、21bの上下のピン21cと、ハーフナット片22aと22bの上下のピン22cがそれぞれ挿通されている。 なお、本図においては、リンクプレート25はガイドボックス23の外部に備えた例を示したが、リンクプレート25を、ガイドボックス23とハーフナットとの間に備える構成としてもよい。
油圧シリンダ30は、ロッド31が鉛直方向の回動軸を有するクレビス32を介してハーフナット片21bに連結され、ハーフナット片21bに傾きが生じた場合でも、傾きがクレビス32の回転により吸収されて、ロッド31に曲げ力が生じるのを抑制するようになっている。
図4はハーフナット開閉装置20が開いた状態の正面図及びハーフナット21、22の平面図を、図5はハーフナット開閉装置20が閉じた状態の正面図及びハーフナット21の平面図を示している。
次に、油圧シリンダ30のロッド31を前進させると、第1把持部材28aのハーフナット片21bを図中左側に移動させると共に、反力により油圧シリンダ30が固定されているブラケット27及び2本の第1連結ロッド26aを介してハーフナット片21aを図中右側に移動させる。このときハーフナット片22aとハーフナット片21aは、2本の第1連結ロッド26aで連結され、ハーフナット片22bとハーフナット片21bは、2本の第2連結ロッド26bで連結しているので、ハーフナット片22a、22bはそれぞれハーフナット片21a、21bと同方向に移動し、タイバー15、15に近接する。
このとき、図4に示すように、ハーフナット21、22に接続されたリンクプレート25は、支点ピン24周りに矢印R方向に回動して、ハーフナット片21a、22aは、ハーフナット片21b、22bと同期して同時にタイバー15に近接する。
次いで、ハーフナット片21aとハーフナット片21b、ハーフナット片21a及びハーフナット片21bが、それぞれタイバー15に同期して近接することで、ハーフナット21、22は、タイバー15の周方向溝部15aと噛合して、タイバー15を把持する。
図8は、アクチュエータのロッド31とハーフナット片21bを連結する連結器33を平面視した図である。
第2の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、クレビス32に代えて、フランジ33Aと、フランジ33A内に配置されるナックル33Bとを備えた連結器33が用いられている点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態に係るハーフナット開閉装置20と同様の構成とされている。
なお、ナックル33Bの先端側に、図8に示すような面取部33C又はコーナーRを設けると、ナックル33Bの先端角部での回転が滑らかに行われることから、フランジ33Aとの接触がさらに緩和されて、より好適である。
第3の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、クレビス32に代えて、球面継手34を用いる点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成とされている。
その結果、ハーフナット片21bが複雑な動作により傾いても、その傾きは球面継手34での回転で吸収されて、ロッド31に曲げ力が生じるのが抑制される。
第4の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、クレビス32に代えて、ユニバーサルジョイント35を用いる点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成とされている。
その結果、ハーフナット片21bが複雑な動作を介して傾いても、その傾きは接続部材35Cでの回転で吸収されて、ロッド31に曲げ力が生じるのが抑制される。
第5の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、クレビス32に加えて、球面ブッシュ40を用いる点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成とされている。
球面ブッシュ40は、外周に球面の一部が形成されるとともに孔40bにクレビス32の軸部32Jが嵌挿された外周球面部材40aと、ロッド31に接続されて内方に球面部40aと摺動可能で外周球面部材40aの球半径と同一あるいは外周球面部材40aよりも若干量大きな球半径を有する球面の一部が形成された凹部材40cとを備えている。図11Aに示すように、球面ブッシュ40の孔40bにクレビス32の軸部32Jが嵌挿され、外周球面部材40aが凹部材40cに挿入されているので、凹部材40cは外周球面部材40aに対して、所定範囲内で方向を選択することなく回動できるようになっている。
また、図11Bに示すように、球面ブッシュ40の上下に皿バネなどの弾性体41a、41bを備えても良い。また、図11Bに示した皿バネ41a、41bに代えて、コイルバネ、板バネ、空気バネ、液体バネなど他のバネ部材を用いてもよい。また上下ではなく上下のいずれか一方でもよい。この場合には、更にハーフナット21bに傾きが生じて、クレビス32の軸部32Jが機能上最も好ましい位置である設計中心位置からずれた場合でも、弾性体41a、41bにより、クレビス32の軸部32Jを設計中心位置に戻す反力を付与させることができる。
第6の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、油圧シリンダ30と2本の第1連結ロッド26aとを接続するブラケット27に代えてブラケット27Aが用いられ、ブラケット27Aは油圧シリンダ30を、油圧シリンダ30の長手中央近傍に突出する支持ピン30Aを回動自在に支持可能とされている点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成とされている。
第7の実施形態が第1の実施形態と異なるのは、油圧シリンダ30と2本の第1連結ロッド26aとを接続するブラケット27に代えてブラケット27Bが用いられ、ブラケット27Bはクレビス32Aを介して油圧シリンダ30の後端部を回動自在に支持している点であり、その他は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成とされている。
例えば、上記実施の形態においては、アクチュエータが油圧シリンダ30である場合について説明したが、油圧シリンダに変えて、例えば、エアシリンダ、ボールねじ式の電動或いは油圧駆動のモータ、をはじめとする種々のアクチュエータを用いてもよい。
また、ハーフナット21、22に代えて、3つ以上に分割可能な部材を用いて、タイバー15を把持してもよい。
またクレビス32に取り付けるのをロッド31としたが、クレビス32の周辺スペースに余裕があれば、クレビス32に支持するのはロッド31ではなく、油圧シリンダ30の本体端面部に図示しないクレビス支持構造を設けてクレビス32を支持し、ロッド31をブラケット27に組み付けても良い。

Claims (5)
- 固定型が配置される固定プラテンと、前記固定型とともにキャビティを画成する可動型が配置され前記固定プラテンに対して移動可能とされる可動プラテンと、前記固定プラテンと前記可動プラテンの間に生じる型締力に抗するタイバーと、前記タイバーを把持して前記可動プラテンと前記タイバーとを係止する型締保持装置と、を備えた型締装置であって、
前記型締保持装置は、
前記タイバーを把持する把持部材と、
前記可動プラテンまたは前記固定プラテンに配置され前記タイバーに対して前記把持部材を進退するアクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータと前記把持部材とを揺動可能に連結する揺動部材と、を備えることを特徴とする型締装置。 - 請求項1に記載の型締装置であって、
前記把持部材は、二本のタイバーと対応して配置され、それぞれのタイバーと接離可能かつ前記タイバーに形成された第1係止形状部と噛合する第2係止形状部が形成された2組のハーフナットと、
前記2組のハーフナットのうち、前記第2係止形状部が同方向の動作に対応するハーフナット片同士を連結部材により連結して構成された第1把持部材と、第2把持部材と、を備え、
第1把持部材と、第2把持部材とは、協働して前記二本のタイバーを把持するように構成されていることを特徴とする型締装置。 - 請求項2に記載の型締装置であって、
前記第1把持部材、第2把持部材は、前記連結部材をそれぞれ2組有し、
前記連結部材の軸方向から見た場合に、前記第1把持部材の連結部材と、第2把持部材の連結部材とは、対角に配置されていることを特徴とする型締装置。 - 請求項2又は請求項3に記載の型締装置であって、
前記連結部材が連結ロッドであることを特徴とする型締装置。 - 請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の型締装置を備えることを特徴とする射出成形機。
