Abstract

L'échelle verticale est destinée à s'utiliser dans des espaces restreints. L'échelle comprend une carcasse volumique (2), deux rangées verticales (8, 9) de marches (6, 7) dont chacune est fixée immobile sur la carcasse (2), avec possibilité de pivotement par rapport à l'axe horizontal (19), et un moyen de fixation de pieds en position horizontale à l'intérieur du volume de la carcasse. La carcasse comprend des montants verticaux (3) en quantité de deux ou plus et des barres transversales (4, 5) reliant entre eux les montants verticaux voisins (3). Les marches (6) d'une rangée verticale (8) sont décalées par rapport aux marches (7) d'une autre rangée verticale (9) sur la hauteur de la carcasse. Dans des cas particuliers, les marches (6, 7) sont fixées par charnière (par exemple, au moyen de gonds) sur la carcasse (2) (par exemple, sur les barres horizontales (4)).
