Abstract
Description
インクジェット記録装置1について、図1~図4を参照して説明する。インクジェット記録装置1は、導入部10と、搬送部20と、記録部40と、加湿部50と、遮蔽部60と、空調部70と、乾燥部80と、回収部90とを備える。インクジェット記録装置1は、画像(柄模様)が記録される各種の記録媒体のうち、布帛3を対象としたインクジェット記録装置である。即ち、インクジェット記録装置1では、インクジェット記録装置1に接続されたパーソナルコンピュータのような外部装置から入力された画像データに従い、布帛3にインクが吐出され、布帛3に、入力された画像データに対応した画像が、記録される。布帛3としては、各種材質による繊維織物が含まれる。図1に示す例では、布帛3は、所定の幅の長尺状である。長尺状の布帛3は、導入部10の側から回収部90の側に、順次送られる。布帛3の送りは、インクジェット記録装置1が備える、複数の送りローラ5と、搬送部20とにて実現される。
吐出判定処理について、図5を参照して説明する。吐出判定処理は、インクジェット記録装置1で、布帛3への画像の記録がなされる、所定のタイミングで実行される。例えば、画像の記録の開始と共に開始され、画像の記録がなされている間、連続的に実行される。この他、画像の記録開始前の調整時に、インクジェット記録装置1の操作者が外部装置に入力したこの処理の開始を指示する指令が、インクジェット記録装置1に入力された場合に、開始される。この処理を開始した制御部110は、記録部40にて布帛3に記録された画像を撮像した撮像画像データを取得する(S10)。このとき、制御部110は、撮像部100を制御する。撮像部100は、搬送部20にて搬送されている布帛3に記録された画像を撮像する。続けて、制御部110は、記憶部112から基準画像データを読み出し、基準画像データを取得する(S12)。撮像画像データ及び基準画像データは、共に、制御部110内のRAMに記憶される。
本実施形態によれば、記録部40にて画像が記録された布帛3を乾燥させるため、記録部40に連続して乾燥部80が設けられたインクジェット記録装置1において、インクジェットヘッド41に形成されたノズルの乾燥を抑制することが可能となり、インク詰まりの発生を抑制することができる。そのため、ドロップオンデマンド型で且つライン型のインクジェットヘッド41からのインク吐出を安定させ、長尺状の布帛3に対して、好適な品質の画像を、記録することができる。
本実施形態は、次のようにすることもできる。下記に示す変形例の構成は、他の変形例に、適宜適用することもできる。

Claims (12)
- 布帛を搬送し、搬送される布帛にインクを吐出して、布帛に画像を記録するインクジェット記録装置であって、
布帛を第一方向に搬送する搬送部と、
ドロップオンデマンド型で、且つ、前記搬送部にて搬送される布帛にインクを吐出するノズルが、前記第一方向に交差する第二方向において、布帛の幅以上の範囲に配列して形成されたライン型のインクジェットヘッドが、前記第一方向に複数個配列されて形成された記録部と、
前記記録部にて画像が記録された布帛を乾燥させる乾燥部と、
加湿エアを吹き出すための吹出口から、前記インクジェットヘッドに対して加湿エアを供給する加湿部と、を備える、インクジェット記録装置。 - 前記加湿部は、前記吹出口が形成された部分が前記第一方向に複数個配列された前記インクジェットヘッドの間に設けられている、請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記乾燥部から前記記録部の側への空気の流れを遮蔽する遮蔽部を備える、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記遮蔽部は、前記記録部を覆い、収容する、請求項3に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記記録部を覆い、収容する遮蔽部を備え、
前記加湿部は、前記記録部が収容された前記遮蔽部の内部空間に加湿エアを供給する、請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録装置。 - 前記記録部が収容された前記遮蔽部の内部空間を空調する空調部を備える、請求項4又は請求項5に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 布帛は、長尺状であって、
布帛を、前記搬送部の側に繰り出す導入部を備え、
前記搬送部は、前記導入部から繰り出された布帛を前記第一方向に搬送する、請求項1から請求項6に記載のインクジェット記録装置。 - 布帛は、長尺状であって、
前記乾燥部にて乾燥された布帛を回収する回収部を備える、請求項1から請求項7に記載のインクジェット記録装置。 - 前記インクジェットヘッドを加熱する加熱部を備える、請求項1から請求項8の何れか1項に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 前記加熱部は、前記インクジェットヘッドに内蔵されている、請求項9に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
- 布帛を搬送し、搬送される布帛にインクを吐出して、布帛に画像を記録するインクジェット記録装置であって、
布帛を第一方向に搬送する搬送部と、
ドロップオンデマンド型で、且つ、前記搬送部にて搬送される布帛にインクを吐出するノズルが、前記第一方向に交差する第二方向において、布帛の幅以上の範囲に配列して形成されたライン型のインクジェットヘッドが、前記第一方向に複数個配列されて形成された記録部と、
前記記録部にて画像が記録された布帛を乾燥させる乾燥部と、
前記記録部を覆い、収容する遮蔽部と、
前記記録部が収容された前記遮蔽部の内部空間を空調する空調部と、を備える、インクジェット記録装置。 - 基準画像に対応した基準画像データを記憶する記憶部と、
前記記録部にて布帛に記録された画像を撮像する撮像部と、
前記撮像部にて撮像された画像に対応する撮像画像データと、前記基準画像データと、を比較する画像解析部と、
前記撮像画像データが、前記基準画像データに対して予め定めた基準範囲内の画像データではない場合、前記インクジェットヘッドからのインクの吐出を停止するように制御する記録制御部と、を備える、請求項1から請求項11の何れか1項に記載のインクジェット記録装置。
